Afrofuturism was born under the combination of the elements of African culture, sci-fi novels, history, afrocentrism and Magic Realism. The aim of this study is to sort out the concepts and characteristics of Afrofuturism basing on the artistic elements appearing in Black Panther. The method is to investigate the academic papers, periodicals, singles and the Internet research related to African culture, Afrofuturism and American superheroes first. And then make the analyzation of the design of uniforms of the major characters in the movie as cases. The result is : First, the resistance of art for social minorities, second, the establishment of identity of black art through the reactionary effect of culture, and third, the artistic healing through SF fantasy.

숫자를 헤아리는 방법은 민족마다 또 문화권에 따라 서로 다르다. 서양에는 피코, 마이크로, 밀리, 윈, 헌드레드, 밀리언 등이 있고 동양에서는 일, 십, 백, 천, 억, 조, 경 등을 기본적인 숫자의 단위로 쓰고 있다. '불가사의', '무량대수' 등도 숫자의 단위이며 소수점 이하는 푼, 리를 비롯해 '순식', '찰나' 등 다양하다. 우리가 흔히 쓰는 '순식'은 숨을 한번 쉬는 3초를, 그리고 불교에서의 '일겁'은 우주의 일생을 일컫는다. 이렇듯 흥미롭고 신비로운 숫자의 세계를 풀어본다.

본 연구는 모바일 게임의 이용의도에 관한 연구로서 기존연구들을 바탕으로 한국과 중국 양국간의 차이를 비교하고자 한다. 기존의 연구에서 제시한 게임의 이용의도인 탈출, 사회적 상호작용, 경쟁/도전감, 환상감, 시간 보내기에 모바일기기의 이용의도인 정황성, 과시욕을 추가하여, 중국의 모바일 게임 이용자들의 이용의도를 조사하고 한국의 모바일 게임 이용의도와 비교하고자 한다. 본 연구를 통해서 중국과 한국 게이머의 이용의도에 있어서 공통점과 차이점이 무엇인지를 파악하고, 양국의 사회문화적 특성이 이용의도의 차이에 미치는 영향에 대해 설명하고자 한다. 현재 소수의 한국 게임기업들이 중국에 진출하고 있고 중국의 문화와 시장을 충분히 파악하지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 본 연구의 결과는 향후 한국기업이 중국 모바일 게임 시장에 진출하는데 도움이 되는 시사점을 제시할 수 있을 것으로 여겨진다.

The Cultural Revolution(wenhuadageming) is one of the most important political movement in the modem China. The studies on the movement done in recent years concentrated on the political conspiracy or the struggle over political line, so they did not pay attention to the political geographical dimension of the movement. This paper proposes that the Cultural Revolution practised in the area of minority nationalities at least is well understood through the political geographical perspective. Through the discussion on the Cultural Revolution practised in the Inner Mongolia autonomous district and the Oroqen minority nationality autonomous banner, this paper suggest that the socialist Chinese leader group considers the frontier area(bianjiang) or the minority nationality regions(xiaoshuminzudiqu) important as 'region' or 'space' not as 'the area of minority nationalities (minzu)'. Especially, in the period of the movement, the leader group of the revolution manipulated the space by using the index of nationality or manipulated the nationality by using the index of space. Therefore this paper assert that the Cultural Revolution in the area of minority nationality autonomous region was a integration process of the people and national territory through the reorganization of the nationalities into classes and of autonomous region into region in general meaning.

The purpose of this essay explores a critical review of the Korean critical communication studies focused on the problematic of cultural studies and political economy in 2000s. The findings are as follows; The 'consumer turn' or 'audience turn' in new revisionism modelling John Fiske's cultural studies has been interpreted not to complement but to substitute the necessary criticism of the post-authoritarian media establishment of Korea at that time, arising identity crisis of Korean cultural studies as one of the critical camp. On other side, however, some political economy studies close to the unilinear theses of orthodox marxism has been appraised to neglect the complex process and structure of media and cultural production as well. While the press war between the market-dominant dailies and some progressive dailies has given rise to a whole debate as expected in consolidating period of Korean emerging democracy, the conjucturalism as modelled by Hall's 'authoritarian populism' failed to initiate a new theo tical practice in Korea. Finally, this review essay propose the some new research issues that would converge cultural studies and political economy, modernism and postmodernism; citizenship vs 'cultural citizenship'(valuing the private identity and gender) or Habermasian public sphere vs 'cultural public sphere', the culture of production, (modern)citizen/(postmodern)consumer(recently debated in English media policy), 'differentiation' in capitalist production and 'difference' in consumer sovereignty, 21c future vision of public service broadcasting as one of the 20c institutions.

This study has identified the current status and challenges to development of Korean Ethnic Media Companies in North America, China, and Australia New Zealand and aimed to understand implication of cultural policy. It examines the media circumstances, business resources of Korean Ethnic Media Companies(KEMC), and Korean ethnic broadcasting aid project which is operated for 10 years, and interviewed nine CEOs' of KEMC. According to the analysis, KEMCs in North America are in the market which is fully exposed to competition. China's KEMCs are the "limitedly localized market" which is supported by the government's regulatory for minority media. Australia & New Zealande's KEMCs are the market which potential growth is expected. North American KEMCs are needed to upgrade the business structure and organizational resources for content differentiation. China's KEMCs have to diversify financial resources and to consolidate content power. and Australia & New Zealande's KEMCs need support & cooperatation from home country for ensuring high-quality content.

미국은 이제까지 서구 백인문화 중심적으로 간호학을 발전시켜왔다. 그러나 국제적인 세계화 흐름과 함께 이제까지 경시되어 왔던 소수 민족들에게 차츰 관심을 모으고 있다. 이러한 간호학의 추세와 함께 재미 한인들의 증가는 간호학 내의 한인들에 대한 문화적 지식의 확대를 필요로 하게 하였다. 이민이라는 과정을 통해서 이민자들은 새로운 가치관. 태도. 사회적 규범을 획득하게 되는데. 이러한 변화는 신체적. 정신적 건강에 부정적으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 보고되고 있다. 또한 이러한 이민 적응과정에서 오는 어려움 들은 이민자 들이 건강관리를 효과적으로 하지 못하게 하는 주원인으로 보고되고 있다. 이 연구에서는 재미 한인들의 건강관리실천을 그들의 초기 이민 과정에서 겪게 되는 여러 경험에 초점을 맞추면서 면담조사와 사례 연구를 통하여 살펴보았다. 임의 표본 추출된 미국 캘리포니아주 오클랜드에 있는 한 한인 교회의 20명의 교민들을 대상으로 그들의 초기 이민경험과 건강관리 실천에 관한 면담 조사가 이루어졌으며 대상자 중 3인을 대상으로 하여 사례 연구가 이루어졌다. 연구 결과, 재미 한인들은 타이민자들에 비해 소규모 사업에 종사하는 경우가 많고 높은 취업 율에 비해 낮은 수인을 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 한인들은 타이민자들에 비해 좀 더 보수적이며 그들의 문화와 관습을 가능한 한 고수하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 한인들은 사회 참여와 대인 관계에 있어서 한인 사회에만 한정되게 활동하는 것으로 나타났다. 재미 한인들은 한인 사회 내에서 강력한 사회적 유대관계를 유지하는 것으로 나타났으며, 가족의 영향력이 타민족들에 비하여 강한 것으로 나타났다 언어 장벽이 가장 큰 문제로 보고되고 있으며 비록 성공적으로 미국 사회에 적응을 하더라도 계속적인 경제적인 생존 노력과 사회적으로 소외된 그들의 위치는 그들의 삶을 계속해서 어렵게 하는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 초기 이민 적응과정에서 오는 어려움 들은 그들의 건강을 비효과적으로 관리하게 만드는 것으로 나타났다. 첫째, 적절한 통역자를 사전에 선정, 이용함으로써 적절한 간호를 제공할 수 있도록 하여야겠다. 둘째. 한인을 대하는 간호 제공자들은 한인에 대한 문화적 지식을 겸비하고 그 지식에 근거를 둔 문화적으로 적절한 간호를 제공하여야 할 것이다. 셋째, 간호 제공자들은 한인들의 치료법 혼용을 이해하고 동시에 여러 치료법을 사용하는 경우. 잘 살펴서 적절한 조치를 취해야 할 것이다. 넷째, 가족관계를 사정하고 적절히 가족 구성원을 간소 목적을 위하여 사용할 수 있어야 하겠다 마지막으로 이들 내의 위험 집단을 우선적으로 파악. 접근하여야 할 것이다. 위험 집단으로는 경제적 문제로 적절한 의료 이용을 할 수 없는 저소득층, 문화적으로 열등한 위치에 있는 여성층과 초기 이민 적응에 가장 문제를 일으킬 소지가 있는 노년층을 들 수 있겠다. 이 연구는 몇 가지 제한점을 가진다. 첫째. 연구 대상자 선정이 어려워서 자원자를 대상으로 연구가 행해졌다. 둘째. 적은 수의 연구 대상자를 대상으로 연구가 행해졌다. 셋째. 연구기간이 짧았던 까닭에 좀더 상세한 사례 연구가 이루어질 수 없었다 좀 더 신뢰할 수 있는 표본 추출 방법을 통하여 선정된, 많은 연구 대상자를 가지고, 심도 있는 연구가 추후 반복적으로 이루어져야 할 것이다.

This study is focused on showing possibilities and limitations of the disabled men roles through the relationships with migrant women in korean novels, furthermore it is discovering the problems and the directions for successful cohabitation of the disabled men and migrant women in Korea. To accomplish this purpose of study, we analyzed and criticized 5 Korean novels which described the life of a disabled man with a migrant woman in Korean multicultural society. As a result, the disabled man in those relationships represented the man who was only true to his own desires or the man of the minority in social restraint due to disability and also those men can be classified as attackers or helpers for their migrant lovers. These formulaic expressions being problematic by themselves also facilitate making distorted images of the disabled men and migrant women.

It has been basic value and fundamental philosophy for a long time for archivists to protect neutrality and objectivity in records management. The demands to maintain objectivity of records management is directly related to protect the administrative and legal evidence of records for fulfilling jurisdictional goal, and more fundamentally, it is related with the intrinsic nature of archives. As an archivists' expertise is seems to be derived from ability to give objective-judge on record value, and candor to organize and classify records. Thus, the international Code of Ethics of archivists stipulates that all such obligations directly or indirectly. However, since Hans Booms and Terry Cook emphasized the social responsibility of archivists and highlighted the social power of archives, the discourse of archival objectivity gets to be given more attention to people. This article, following the cultural anthropologist Clifford Geertz' interpretative methodology theory, examine the archival implications to adopt the theory, particularly from the perspective of objectivity and archival otherness.
