An Empirical Study on the Between Cross-Culture Exchange and Communication(Negotiation) of Korean Youth (한국청년의 이문화 변화와 커뮤니케이션 관계와의 실증적 연구)

  • The cultural values of the traditional way and the current cultural values of young people are very different, and the rejection of cross-cultural contact is greatly reduced because Korean young people easily accommodate other cultures of the US, Europe or Asia. At present, the cultural values of the traditional way and the current cultural values of young people are very different, and the youthfulness of Korean young people easily accepts other cultures of the US, Europe or Asia, so the resistance to cross - cultural contact is greatly reduced. The purpose of this study is to find out how the younger Korean youths are forming the change of the foreign culture and how the negotiation will proceed according to the formation of these cultures. The results of the analysis show that Korean young people have collectivism cultural rights and that they are consistent with the previous research that there is tendency to avoid uncertainty. On the other hand, there is a tendency of opposition as a result of the empirical analysis that the Koreans have a strong orientation, a high power interval, and strong masculinity. Also, as a result of analyzing the changes in Korean culture that belongs to the high background culture, Korean young people tend to be centered in the past and decision makers tend to decide by the chief executive. On the other hand, Korean young people were denied all the verifiable cultural attributes that cultural properties and communication that maintain openness to share space exposures and office space are non - verbal, tacit communication and time observation are very long and uncertain.

Effects of Teaching Mathematics Focused on Establishing Mathematical Communication-Based Classroom Culture on Elementary Students' Cognitive and Affective Domain (수학적 의사소통 기반의 수학교실문화 형성 수업이 초등학생의 인지적·정의적 영역에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of mathematics instruction for the formation of mathematics classroom culture on cognitive and affective domains of elementary school students. Two classes of 3rd grade elementary school in Seoul were chosen for the study. Twenty math classes were conducted, discussing the norms and using mathematical communication and journal writing activity was carried out. A mathematical achievement evaluation was performed for the inspection of the cognitive domains and a mathematical aptitude test was performed for the inspection of the affective domains. Research has shown that the mathematics classroom culture have a positive effect on the development of students' cognitive and affective domains. In particular, in the course of forming a mathematical classroom culture, students showed a change in the affective domain of a mathematics. Based on these findings, a change in teacher's perception of the importance of mathematics is needed and a variety of circumstances surrounding the students suggested the formation of a mathematical classroom culture.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between the two factors and the influence of Chinese cultural orientation on the change of physical dry environment in the domestic Chinese residential area. To this end, Hofsted's cultural dimension theory, which can quantitatively define and compare the national culture, is used to investigate the cultural orientation of China. The association was analyzed. Through this study, it was confirmed that the collectivist and uncertainty-avoidance tendency of the Chinese influenced the formation and change of the dry environment of the Chinese residential area in Daelim 2-dong. This study is meaningful in confirming that the cultural orientation of the migrant community affects the formation and change of collective residences, and through this, it can be used as basic data in preparing policies suitable for various migrant communities including Chinatown.

  • 홍대 앞에 급부상하고 있는 북카페가 어떤 문화적 특성을 갖고 있는지 살펴보고 강원도의 '감자꽃 스튜디오', 서울의 '광장시장'과 '통인시장'의 변화를 통해 도심 내 효율적인 문화 공간 활성화 방안에 대해 살펴본다. 문화 공간은 보편적으로 시민들이 문화예술을 감상하거나 생활 속에서 문화적 산물을 직접 생산, 교육할 수 있는 장소 또는 시설로 인식하고 있다. 북카페의 특징인 복합 문화 공간을 잘 살려 '지역 커뮤니티'의 공간으로 발전되도록 한다. 북카페의 활성화 방안으로 지역문화와 잘 연계한 강원도 평창의 '감자꽃 스튜디오'를 예를 들어 비교해 본다. 문화 공간은 시대에 맞게 필요에 따라 변모해야 한다. 문화 공간의 다양한 방법에 대해 연구해보기로 한다.

New Roles and Identity of Literary Writers from the Perspective of Cultural Intermediary (문화매개자 개념으로 바라본 문학 작가의 새로운 역할과 정체성)

  • Contemporary literary writers engage in multiple jobs and activities in the changing industrial and institutional environments to manage careers and produce literary value. The notion of art entrepreneurship envisages writers as the actors pursuing optimal rewards at both literary and economic levels by applying creative knowledge and skills to the management of career. In contrast, the notion of creative labor argues that writers go through career insecurity as they pursue self-fulfillment through work. This paper critically reviews two notions and suggests the notion of cultural intermediaries to better understand their production of literary value within the variety of relational contexts where they are situated. This paper analyzes the structures and characteristics of a wide range of intermediary practices by literary writers. Based on the analysis, I argue that the autonomy of literary value the writers construct and their status of entrepreneur-labourer are contingent upon the relational contexts within which they practice the intermediary work. I also suggest that literary writers by utilizing a variety of tactics cope with the changes that shape the autonomy of literature and invent new roles and identities as cultural intermediaries. Furthermore, literary writers develop not only self-management skills to adapt to the changing environments but also the collective capacity to cope with the constraints derived from the structural change of literary production and circulation. Finally, I argue that the art management discipline can reflect upon and support the creative endeavors of literary writers by embracing the critical understanding of structural changes suggested by the disciplines of humanities and social sciences.

  • 도서관은 전통적으로 지식과 정보자료를 수집하여 보존하는 기능을 담당해 왔다. 그러나 현대 후기산업사회에 적응하기 위해서는 이러한 전통적 기능 외에 과학기술정보의 신속한 공급은 물론, 개인의 지적 활동과 문화향수 및 여가선용의 극대화를 도모하고, 특히 지역사회 주민들의 문화복지를 증진시키기 위해 도서관 프로그램을 적극적으로 활용토록 자극하는 사회문화적 역할이 더욱 강조돼야 한다. 공공도서관 업무의 문화부이관을 골자로 하는 '도서진흥법'의 시행으로 이제까지와는 전혀 다른 질적 변화의 계기를 맞고 있는 우리 도서관은, 과연 이같은 역할과 과제의 수행을 위해 어떤 노력들을 기울여야 할 것인가. 지난 도서관주간에 열렸던 학술대회에서의 논의를 정리한다.

  • 수학교육 개혁에서 강조되고 있는 교실 문화의 변화는 교사가 그 개혁 방향을 이해하고 자신들이 지향하는 가치와 우선 순위를 수업에 어떻게 적용하느냐에 달려 있다고 볼 수 있다. 이와 관련하여, 본 논문에서는 문헌을 통하여 교수 방법에 영향을 미치는 교사 변인 (교사의 학습 및 교수 경험, 지식, 신념, 개별인성특징) 및 사회문화적 변인 (문화적 ${\cdot}$ 교육적 규준, 교육과정 개발과 운영, 교사교육, 전문적 모델과 교사공동체)을 찾아내고 이를 기초로 하여 수학 교사의 교수 방법에 영향을 미치는 요소를 질적으로 분석하기 위한 구체적인 개발면담 질문을 제시한다.

  • WTO/TRIPS 협정 체결과 WIPO의 저작권 조약이 선진국의 주도로 성립된 뒤로 지적재산권 분야의 변화와 대응은 각국의 주요 이슈로 부각 되었다. 새로운 지적재산 체제는 경제는 물론 교육, 문화, 사회 전반에 걸핀 서비스영역까지 영향을 미치고 있다. 본 연구에서는 새로운 지식재산 시대에서 한국과 경제적, 문화적, 지정학적으로 비슷한 위치에 있는 대만의 과학기술 정책과 연구 개발 활동, 그리고 지적재산권에 대한 현황에 대해 살펴봄으로써 대만의 지적재산 관련 정책대응과 활동에 대해 알아본다.

Linguistic Turn and the Education of Liberal Arts (언어적 전환과 인문교육)

  • In this paper, we try to criticize a bias that liberal arts are not practical. First, I introduce holistic models of knowledge and constructivism in education. Second, I suggest 'linguistic turn' as another noticeable phenomenon. Language is an element of culture, but a priviledged one because culture, in itself, is linguistic. So culture is a sort of a text. We can see that liberal arts or humanities to deal with texts, contexts and languages can have an important role to read, understand and construct a world. So the rediscovery of the traditional model of the education of liberal arts like processes of graduating studies of liberal arts or humanities, is relevant to a new 'practical' model of reading and leading recent social transformations. An important point is academic contribution. And current situation called 'Knowledge-Based Society' also supports my point in another way. The situation of rapidly changing knowledge requires an education of problem-solving ability by unifying and reconstructing knowledge supporting with constructivism in education rather than the cramming system of education.
