  • Anthocyanin derivatives are an important of natural compounds responsible for the red, purple and blue colors in a large number of plants. This molecules are polymethoxy-derivatives of 2-phenylbenzopyrylium salts. Despite the beneficial properties of anthocyanins, the effectiveness of preventing or treating various diseases depends on bioavailability. Therefore, In this study, in order to investigate the electrical characteristics of anthocyanin derivatives, we investigated the electrochemical properties of derivatives by calculating the total energy, bandgap, net charge of anthocyanin derivatives using HyperChem8.0's PM3 method.

  • According to Jacques Lacan, human desire stems from a primitive lack, This lack acts as a driving force, propelling humans to continually seek pleasure and satisfaction. Given its intricacies, the interplay between the subject's and the overall human desire is intricate, making complete realization of desire unattainable. Through Jacques Lacan's theory of desire, the researcher aims to explore the balance achieved as the subject in the movie navigates ideals, frustrations, and growth. This paper focuses on the analysis of the movie 'Parasite' using Amedeo Giorgi's phenomenological method. By doing so, the researcher seeks to uncover the essence of human desire, offering insights and a theoretical framework for cinematic creation.

  • The paleogenetic analysis has become an increasingly important subject of archaeological, anthropological, biological as well as public interest. Recently, scientific research for human skeletal remains was more activated because of increasing awareness of the valuable archaeological information by the ancient DNA analysis. State of preservation of organic remains vary in different soil and burying environmental condition. Almost all available tissue disappear to analysis ancient DNA of bone in acidic soil caused by climate and geological features in Korea. Many preserved human remains excavated in the 'Heogwakmyo'(limelayered tomb of Chosun Dynasty Period) is able to explain through the relationship between burial conditions and bone survival form the burial method and ceremony. Ancient DNA analysis of excavated human bone form ancient tomb requires to remove contaminants such as microorganism's DNA and soil components that affect authentic results. Particularly, contamination control of contemporary human DNA is major serious problem and should verified by criteria of authenticity. In order to understand migration and culture of ancient population, when possible, ancient DNA studies needs to go abreast both radiocarbon and stable isotope studies because the dietary inferences will suggest ancient subsistence and settlement patterns. Also when the paleogenetic research supported with the arts and humanities research such as physical anthropology and archaeology, more valuable ancient genetic information is providing a unique results about evolutionary and population genetics studies to reconstruct the past.

  • Cardiovascular diseases is one of the leading causes of death in the world. The objectives of this study were to build various models using sociodemographic variables based on three variable selection methods and seven machine learning algorithms for the identification of hypertension and dyslipidemia and to evaluate predictive powers of the models. In experiments based on full variables and correlation-based feature subset selection methods, our results showed that performance of models using naive Bayes was better than those of models using other machine learning algorithms in both two diseases. In wrapper-based feature subset selection method, performance of models using logistic regression was higher than those of models using other algorithms. Our finding may provide basic data for public health and machine learning fields.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate in depth the emotional experiences experienced by marriage migrant women. To this end, in-depth interviews were conducted with three Korean migrant women who could speak Korean. Collected data were analyzed by Giorgi's phenomenological research method. Research shows that 'parents are comfortable, trying to live more actively', 'because they are faithful to their homes because of their husband's support', 'being emotionally comforted and living more positively', 'joy of experiencing God's help' Reconciled to being emotionally resilient and well-to-be with their husbands and those around them,' 'does not hold family work due to emotional anxiety', 'resulting in resentment and conflict between them and their husbands.' Eight categories of were derived. The results of the study on the emotional experience of marriage immigrant women show that they have laid the foundation for them to adapt and live emotionally well.

  • This study attempted to describe the essential structure of lived experience of a students trans ferring into the nursing program. A study on the experience of students who have a major in this of health or who have experience in a medical institution is aimed at identifying the nature of incorporating nursing into each individual. The experiences were analyzed and the meaning of the experiences was understood by applying the phenomenolgical Analysis method of Colaizzi. The total number of people who majored in health care and five experienced medical institutions was nine, which resulted four themes and 14 central beauty. Based on the results of this study, it will provide basic materials for fostering professional nursing personnel at various nursing sites by understanding the nursing departments and experiences of students with experience in the health care system.

  • In this research, it is the research which carried out the fact-finding for the preparation of old age targeting middle and middle age. After requesting a questionnaire survey for middle-aged and elderly people, it was carried out by the method of collection. A total of 350 copies were distributed, and there were a lot of questions that were poor in response or lacking. Except for the 39 copies, a total of 311 copies of SPSS 22.0 were tried and frequency analysis, t-test and oneway ANOVA were performed. Targeting middle-aged and elderly people, we grasped the difference in regional characteristics and differences in life of old-aged people. The purpose of this study is as follows. First of all, the difference of life in old age according to the socio-demographic characteristics of middle and middle age, second middle and middle age, socio-demographic, economic, life in old age, living in physical age, or social old age It is the provision of basic materials for the preparation of old age by grasping the difference of life.

  • The purpose of this study is to explore what obstacles adult undergraduate experience in adapting to college life. To this end, in-depth interviews were conducted with 32 adult undergraduate attending colleges in Daegu and Gyeongbuk. For the study, Colaizzi's phenomenological research method was used and analyzed. As a result of the analysis, eight factors such as relation obstacle, bachelor's and curriculum operation obstacle, social recognition obstacle, study ability obstacle, college environment obstacle, economic obstacle, personal disposition obstacle, and temporal obstacle were found. Through the above research results, it was found that the college environment, which is operated mainly by general college students, is expressed as various types of obstacle for adult undergraduate who work and study at various ages and experiences. Based on the derived obstacle factors, it is expected that a follow-up study will be conducted to develop a measurement tool that can empirically explore the obstacle of adult undergraduate to adapt to college life.

  • The purpose of this study is to understand the transition experience from face-to-face lectures by nursing professors to non-face-to-face lectures. In this study, 17 nursing professors who have conducted non-face-to-face lectures for at least two semesters were collected through in-depth individual interviews according to the empirical phenomenological research method and analyzed according to the qualitative topic analysis method. The research results described the transition experiences of non-face-to-face lectures, focusing on the topics of change and development process according to non-face-to-face lectures, relationship with students, self-relationship, social context and sociality. In conclusion, nursing professors are expected to receive sufficient support to autonomously select non-face-to-face lectures using advanced technologies according to the trend of social change.

  • Biomedical engineering is a discipline that diagnoses and treats human diseases using engineering techniques based on medical and biological understanding. Proper biomedical engineering education requires education on medical terminology, human anatomy, and human physiology, but students have a preconceived notion that these basic medical subjects are subjects to be memorized. In order to eliminate these students' preconceptions, various educational methods must be developed so that students can easily access basic medical subjects. In this paper, we present a method to increase learning effectiveness by introducing observation practice of a human anatomical model to the medical terminology subject. The half-body model of the human body is a form in which various organs are assembled and can be observed by disassembling them one by one. This observation exercise consisted of questions about the organs of the head, neck, chest, and abdomen, with students working in groups to find answers. After the practice, students evaluated that this practice motivated them to learn and made it easier to understand the lecture.
