A study on the revitalization of tourist industry integrated with culture contents industry : about the only area of cheju (문화콘텐츠산업과 접목을 통한 관광산업 활성화 방안 : 제주지역을 중심으로)

  • This study was conducted in order to look for how to create added values by combining cultural contents with other industries effectively. For this purpose, we examined in what directions the tourist industry, which is the main industry of the Jeju Special Self-governing Province, should be combined with cultural contents. It is widely admitted that cultural contents can create various added values, but there have been insufficient efforts to develop cultural contents and link them to added values. In particular, local self-governing bodies' understanding of cultural contents is seriously poor. In order to improve this, we need to have appropriate perception of cultural contents and to change our idea for effective linking of cultural contents to added values. Thus, this study proposed that the development of cultural contents is achieved not simply through the development of contents but through the combination of various methods including the establishment of product development strategies, the establishment of tourist program development strategies, and the integration of slogans.

Impact of Types of Food Tourism Experience on Purchase Intention and Visitor's Satisfaction: Focused on Participants at Dae-gu Food Tour Expo (음식관광 체험유형이 상품구매의도와 방문만족에 미치는 영향: 대구음식문화박람회 방문고객을 대상으로)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyse the impact of food tourism experience types on purchase intention and further to verify the influence of purchase intention on visitor satisfaction. For these purposes, a survey was given to 233 participants at the $15^{th}$ Daegu Food Tour Expo held from $9{\sim}12^{th}$ June 2016. The studay also carried out analysis of frequency, reliability, and correlation employing SPSS V. 20.0. The findings of the study are as follows. 1) Among 4 factors of food tourism experience types, gourmet, knowledge and healing pursuit groups havd a positive influence on purchase intention, although relation pursuit group had no significant influence on purchase intention. 2) It was discovered that purchase intention had a positive influence on visitor satisfaction. The results shown that food tourists have basic experience of gourmet with paying attention on knowledge and healing, as well. But food tourist has no significant influence on the group of relation pursuit. Accordingly, in order to encourage food tourists to re-visit, it is necessary to continuously develop and improve tour programs with well organized tour destinations and social system.

  • 지역축제는 지역에서 정례적으로 개최되는 지역문화가 종합화되고 축약 적으로 상징화된 행사로서 지역발전에 미치는 효과는 크게 경제적 효과, 사회. 문화적 효과, 그리고 물리. 환경적 효과로 볼 수 있다. 지역축제는 지방자치가 실시된 1995년부터 지역 경쟁력을 강화하기 위하여 급속하게 증가 하였으며, 2008년 현재 전국적으로 개최되는 축제는 1년에 1100여개가 넘는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 문화관광부에서는 경쟁력 있는 지역축제를 육성하기위하여 지원규모에 따라 최우수, 우수, 지역육성 그리고 예비 축제 등으로 구분하여 지원하고 이들 중 상품성이 큰축제를 문화관광 축제로 지원한다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문화관광 축제들을 선정하여 관광객들이 축제 관람 시 필요로 하는 다양한 정보들을 웹상에서 보다 쉽게 비교 검색이 가능하도록 통합검색시스템 설계에 관한 요구분석 내용을 기술한다.

  • With the development of tourism the desire for a variety of tours for visitors was occurred. Accordingly, to meet the needs of tourists for the development of various tourism products is necessary. In addition to the occurrence of environmental problems needs to develop enviromental tourism products. In this study refocus on rapidly developed templestay and difference of life quality between before experienced templestay and after experienced templestay as product development of low-carbon green was to explore the possibilities. The findings were as follows. First, the increase of age, they satisfacted temples experience like meditation, tea ceremony and Buddhist cultural experience. 11 questions of life quality, 9 items showing significant differences in the quality of life in it will be useful temple stay was used.

  • Many tourists in the world are expected to visit Mongolia that has impression such as country of nature with no damage, broad prairie of Mongolia, unique world natural heritage of $13^{th}$ century designated by UNESCO, and nomad's life in self-sufficiency. Mongol tourism industry, which has been newly recognized since collapse in the socialism system in 1990, is abundant in historical and cultural resources In tourism. Nevertheless, a research is insufficient on tourism business, developmental sphere in tourism industry, tourism policy and tourism resource development. Accordingly, it is important to conduct tourism promotional survey and implementation of new ideas to develop and to attach more foreign tourists to Mongolia. The purpose of this study is to grasp factors to gain an interest of foreign tourists to select Mongolia as a destination. The aim was also to confirm differences in awareness and performance before and after a visit for foreign tourists to select a trip to Mongolia. Also, the level of factors is compared between expectation before the trip to Mongolia, and the actual satisfaction in tourists through IP analysis(IPA). Finally, to study the present situation of Mongolian tourism to improve its present situation by taking immediate concrete decision for the betterment of Mongolian tourism industry. In order to achieve the objectives of this study, the exploratory factors analysis, reliability test, and One-way ANOVA were carried out by using SPSS 12.0 statistical program.

  • In designing cultural product, end user experiences, feelings and satisfaction with form are one of the most important factors. However, the design processes of cultural product typically depend on traditional methods or intuitive, designer driven methods for generating and evaluating form concepts. We applied sensibility evaluation, analysis method and contemporary digital vehicle design process to cultural product. This paper describes the implementation process of internet based design support system that helps assess user's sensibilities of forms created in each stages of design process. The form focused sensibility evaluation approach provides designers with fast and various feedbacks about their design in each stage. Practical application for exterior design of tourist cart of slowcity(ciitaslow) Shinan was illustrated.

  • It was developed exporting jewelry products so that export those goods by industrial-educational corporation. I concluded an agreement with Hyun-dai co. Ltd, known as a specialist of the cultural goods producing company. By differentiation of the designs for expressing cultural images of korea, we tried to make competitive goods so that it can give value-added profits to the company. And we tried to settle specialization, securing specialty, outsourcing and utilize the spearheaded instrument Jewel CAD, R/P System. Also we tried to contribute to achieve the aims that cost down, task cooperating, systematization by reporting those things to the jewelry business world.

A Study on the Cultural Interpreters and Muti-phased Tourism (관광유형다변화에 따른 문화해설사양성에 대한 제언)

  • This paper concerns the cultural tourism and the importance of cultural interpreters. Globalization has become a key word of 21st century, so the volume of tourists has been increasing. Furthermore, as the Korean wave has expanded to the world, more people are interested in Korea and Korean culture, and we observed the obvious increase of tourists. International tourists visit Korea with a variety of purposes, and their travel types are also diversified. This paper analyzes tourists' behavior based on the data provided by KNTO and briefly examines the cultural interpreters in 5 major organizations. Then considering the specific roles of the guides based on the Cohen (1985) and Lee (2011), I propose that the government should give more focus on the professional foreign language speaking interpreters for culture. As for an alternative to the present volunteering system for foreign languages, I strongly suggest multi-culture families or international students staying in Korea, for the wiser use of their abilities, their easy adaptation to the new world, and the peaceful coexistence.

Design Development of Cultural Tourism Products Applying DTP of Jeju Gotjawal - Focusing on Jeju Souvenir Shirts - (제주 곶자왈 사진을 디지털 프린팅 활용한 문화관광상품 디자인 개발 - 제주관광셔츠를 중심으로 -)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop cultural tourism products of Jeju Free International City, utilizing the images of its blessed natural environment listed on the UNESCO World (Natural) Heritage Site. To do this, the concept of cultural tourism products is defined, and the current situation and features of Jeju cultural tourism products are closely researched and examined, and then through survey study, responded by Jeju residents and tourists, purchasing behaviors, consumer preferences of Jeju tourists, and improvement plans for tourism products are examined in detail. According to the survey, the important elements for cultural tourism products of Jeju are extracted and employed in the development of tourism T-shirts, and the developing process of souvenir shirt designs using the unique images of Jeju are presented. Five textile pattern designs, based on the nature images of Jeju 'gotjawal' forests, are created and employed in 5 souvenir shirt designs, and this led to the development of 10 styles of tourism souvenir shirts. With their trendy design embodying unique images of Jeju, practicality, and functionality, these shirts are not just for tourists visiting Jeju but also for everybody, any age, and anywhere. The suitability and validity of the designs as the cultural tourism products representing Jeju are evaluated by consumer preference survey. Through this study, the infinite possibility of developing cultural tourism products utilizing unique natural environments of Jeju are confirmed. Development of tourism souvenir shirts reflecting the current fashion trends and tourists' tastes can be led to the construction of positive images of Jeju, the success in attracting tourists, and, eventually, market extension for cultural tourism products.
