The purpose of this study is to give a challenge LIS field and serve a starting point for the discussion on iSchool. To achieve the study purpose, this study conducted in-depth interview with LIS scholars. Qualitative method was utilized to analyze the interview data. According to the study results, current curriculum reorganization is required for the success of Korean iSchool. In addition, the followings are the expected effects of iSchool: 1)increased possibility of interdisciplinary research and education, 2)expansion of LIS identity, and 3)creation of a new image of LIS. However, there was anxiety about losing LIS's unique identity as an librarian education institute.

This research aims to suggest web-based 3D face modeling system for hairline modification surgery. As public interests in beauty regarding face escalate with era of wide persoanl mobile smart iCT devices, need for medical information system is urgent and increasing demand. This research attempted to build 3D facing modeling library deploying conventional technology and proprietary software available. Implications from the our experiment found that problems and requirement for developing new web based standard. We suggest new system from our experiment and literature review regarding relevant technologies. Main features of our suggested systems is based on studies regarding hair loss treatment such as medical science, beauty studies and information technology. This system processes input images of 2D frontal and profile pictures of face into 3D face modeling with mesh-data. The mesh data is compatible with web standard technology including SVG and Canvas Tag supported natively by HTML5.

The purpose of this study is to measure self images of public librarians who should increasingly take charge of services for children and young people through the semantic differential method and analyze its' general characteristics. According to the results of analysis public librarians have been satisfied with their works and believed that they are kind, fair and gentle. One the other hand, they have had negative self images such as no influence, neglect, poor and stuffiness. Therefore, the result show that public librarians consider their ability, quality and activity as positive images, but they have felt lack of the social consensus and affirmative evaluation of their role. So, we can see building a good physical environment and running great programs to create access of children and young people to the public libraries, demonstrating leadership among senior librarians are so important in order to beat the stereotype and improve their positive self images of their evaluation and role. It is also necessary to promote the new value and role of public libraries and librarianship and to enable retraining for cultivating their qualities as a teacher.
