This study intends to present the most optimal interaction in association with available functions if the foldable display is applied to smart devices. For this, I have looked into the flow of development, morphological features and the application areas of the foldable display based on review literature. I have also established five principles of interaction applicable to the foldable display through the study on the concept and characteristics of foldable display interactions and previous research cases. Next, I have conducted user surveys to find the most optimal interactions with the functions of smart devices taken into account. Prior to user surveys, I have classified foldable display interactions into 36 categories based on the five interaction principles of the foldable display. In addition, I have selected 17 major functions of regular smart devices based on relevant documents. Lastly, utilizing concrete interaction methods and functions obtained in this manner, I have conducted user surveys based on the relationship among multiple relevant factors and chosen the interaction method that acquired the highest frequency and score as the most optimal one whose detailed description has been provided as well.

The purpose of this study is to identify several factors necessary to the curriculum development of the archives and records management in Korea by analyzing archival programs of to Schools of Library and Information Science(SLIS) in the U.S.A. Name of the schools, programs and their degrees, credits, required and elective courses, practice, research, facilities, and SAA guidelines of graduate archival programs are compared by analyzing websites and the literature review. There are a few LIS schools that concentrate archival education and most of the archival programs don't cover all of the core archival knowledge suggested in the LIS schools. In conclusion, the core curriculum of archival science should include history and preservation of archives, archives and records management, information technology, management principles, practicum, and research/ thesis. And a lot of cooperated research and conversation between educational institutions and practical fields are required.

The methodology on digital cadastre(World Geodetic System Conversion) needs to be specified because the primary target site is discussed for large national estate such as road, river etc. on nationwide. Comprehensively reviews on similar cases and literature reviews to make a methodology for digital cadastre on large national estate, cadastral map revision is required before converting to World Geodetic System. The revisions are on subdivision survey or the other surveys to the necessary area through inspection of geometry and attributes. And the researcher pointed out the need of registration conversion and union of parcel to remove small parcel or to remove the inconsistency of land use type. Basically a systematic maintenance of cadastral map is necessary because the World Geodetic System Conversion unresolved the poor cadastral map quality to digital cadastre on large national estate.

This is a literature review study on personality traits' role in language learning. Personality traits play an important role in language learning. In order to review research outcomes in recent studies, articles related to language learning and personality traits were collected through research databases such as ProQuest, Google Scholar, and EBSCO. Based on the analysis of collected literature, this study revealed that extraversion and openness to experience are the personality traits leading to the successful language learning. More specifically, extraversion was related to speaking skills while openness to experience was related to listening. It is also important to note which learning strategies are more likely to be utilized in second language learning and personality traits that are more likely to use them. These findings focus on writing skills, listening skills, and speaking skills. Further studies in the field are suggested.

The value of the library has always been recognized positively. Economic valuation of libraries and their services uses a concrete methodology that enables the quantification of library value and communication of said value among library stakeholders. This paper presents a comprehensive review of literature on economic valuation of the library based on a total of 89 studies conducted over the last quarter-century. Research on library valuation began in the mid-1990's with the formal exploration of the value of public libraries from a theoretical point of view. In the 2000's, various theories and methodologies were reviewed and put into actual measurement studies. The comprehensive review and analysis point to the need for the development of consistent and reliable set of methods, which will facilitate further application of methods and comparison of results.

"논어"는 진시황(秦始皇)의 "분서갱유(焚書坑儒)"로 크게 손실되었다가 한대(漢代)에 이르러 크게 "노론(魯論)", "제론(齊論)", "고론(古論)" 등 3개의 다른 판본이 출현하였다. "노론(魯論)"과 "제론(齊論)"은 각기 다른 사승관계에 의해 전수되어 오다 장우(張禹)에 의해 두 본이 하나로 합쳐지게 되었고, 이후 세상에서 널리 읽혀지게 되었다. 20세기(世紀) 말, 돈황(敦煌)과 토노번(吐魯番)에서 수많은 당사본(唐寫本)들이 발견되었는데, 그 중에 정현(鄭玄)의 "논어주(論語注)"와 하안(何晏)의 "논어집해(論語集解)" 등이 포함되어 있었다. 또한 1973년 서한(西漢) 중산(中山) 회왕(懷王) 유수(劉修)의 무덤에서도 죽간(竹簡)에 쓰여진 "논어(論語)"가 출토되었다. 본고에서는 현재 "논어" 판본 중에서 가장 이른 시기에 속하는 이들 3개의 출토문헌 자료와 전래본인 주자(朱子)의 "논어집주(論語集注)"의 비교를 통하여 한위(漢魏)시기 이래로 여러 "논어"본들이 정리되어가는 과정과 그 과정에서 파생된 제반 문제들을 살펴보았다. 이를 통하여 여러 판본들의 공통점과 차이점들을 살펴볼 수 있었고, 또한 한나라 이후 꾸준히 논란이 되어 왔던 내용과 이를 바탕으로 전래본에서 수정 보완된 부분들을 발견할 수 있었다. 기존 한국의 "논어" 연구는 후대의 전래본을 중심으로 그 철학적인 사상을 분석하는데 편중되어 왔다. 이들 연구는 상당부분 후대에 가미된 글자와 내용을 논어의 원문으로 오인하고, 이를 통해 추론해 낸 결론들도 원래의 사실과 거리가 있을 수밖에 없었다. 그러므로 우리는 20세기 이래로, 고고학적 발굴 성과에 힘입어 지하에서 출토되는 새로운 자료들에 대해 주위를 기울일 필요가 있다. 특히 최근에 출토되는 간독(簡牘)자료에 수많은 경전관련 자료들이 포함되어 있다. 이러한 일차 자료들을 정리분석하고 이를 토대로 그 안에 내재되어 있는 경학, 철학, 역사적인 의미 등을 추론해 낸다면 좀 더 근본적으로 고대사회의 정신문명을 이해할 수 있으리라 본다. 따라서 본 연구는 이러한 방향에서 "논어" 연구의 올바른 토대를 마련하기 위한 기초적 작업으로서의 의의가 있다고 하겠다.

The idea that parental involvement has a positive influence on gifted children is so intuitively appearing that society in general. and educators in particular, have considered parental involvement as the remedy for many problems in education. However the vast proportion of the literatures in this area give results qualitatively. Among the empirical studies that have investigated this issue quantitatively, there appear to be considerable inconsistencies. A meta-analysis was conducted to synthesize the quantitative literatures about the relationship between parental involvement and gifted development. The findings reveal a moderate relationship between parental involvement and gifted development. We focused on the effect between parental involvement and gifted development, and conducted meta-analysis involving correlation coefficients between the two constructs. Using correlation coefficients, We can get the effect size, and explain the influence. We initially identified 539 articles over twelve-year period. Based on abstracts of these 539 articles, 463 studies were used for analyzing the current stream of the study. Finally, 15 studies met our inclusion criteria, and were subsequently used in this meta-analysis. From the 15 studies, 37 variables influenced on gifted development were collected. Using meta-analysis, it is revealed that internal effects for gifted development have stronger relationship than parents' socioeconomic status. In addition, the differences between female and male student have been reducing.

Question taxonomy is one of main approaches to understand the questioner's information need so that we can assign relevant answerers to the question submitted by the user. The goal of this study is to investigate question taxonomy of question and answering services, which are available online and in libraries and understand the characteristics of question answering services by type. In order to achieve the goal, this study examines the types of questions appeared in literature, specifically focusing on social reference, question answering systems, and reference services, and then provides a summary of question taxonomy found in question answering services.

This study examines the history and issues of the LIS field in Korea in order to identify problems of the current librarian education & research areas and provide a new direction for development in this field. As the result of the research, the issues in the department of LIS are found as follows : 1) the LIS departments are restructuring their curriculums 2) the departments are strengthening IT education 3) the foundation for producing professional librarians with area expertise is established by double major programs 4) most popular research areas are library management, organization of information, information sciences etc. 5) the research areas have been diversified as well including information search, record management and publishing.
