This study was purposed to explore the learning culture through the related literature and research review in Jewish Havruta which has interaction, critical reflection, and the driving force creating a better world. The prior researches on Havruta mainly tend to as ways to increase learners' interest in learning and studies as curriculum or teaching methods such as creativity, understanding, and problem-solving skills. However, Havruta is not just method to study subjects, but rather a process of developing thinking through dialogue and discussion. Therefore, Havruta's essential meaning as a lifelong learning should be explored. Studies showed that Jews embody the thinking process from interpreting, analyzing, setting up logic, questioning, discussing, and debating Talmud with others anytime, anywhere, and anyone throughout their learning culture. It develops basic skills for life, forms an integrated personality in relationships with others, and continuously conducts lifelong learning to shape one's own beings. Therefore, lifelong learning culture would be sharing information that one has in the process of discussion through dialogue between two or more people, and supporting and encouraging the other's failure or fear rather than attacking them. The embodiment of thinking process in which people teach and learn eachother, accept the difference, and expand thought would be significant foundation to create lifelong learning culture.
The purpose of this study is to identify the priority factors for sustainable management of social enterprises related to early childhood education. To achieve the purpose of this study, sustainable management factors were extracted by examining previous studies related to social enterprises, and the priorities of factors were derived using the AHP method after conducting surveys of those who are related to early childhood education and social enterprises. As a result of the study, the priorities of the four major factors for sustainable management of social enterprises were confirmed in the following order: strategic factors, organizational factors, management capability factors, and social environment factors. And the priorities of the 16 sub-factors were confirmed in the following order: program originality, excellence of program content, CEO's leadership, expertise in operation and education, securing information on early childhood education market, etc. This study is meaningful in that it discovered the basic success factors for the performance and sustainability of social enterprises related to early childhood education and suggested directions for establishing management strategies for social enterprises related to early childhood education.
This study was conducted to understand the effects of participation perception, self-efficacy, self-esteem, and empowerment on self-support intention of self-support work project participants. For this study, a survey was conducted on participants in the self-support work project within the G-gu area. As a result of the study, it was found that the participation perception, self-efficacy, and empowerment of participants in the self-support project had a positive (+) effect on the self-support will. Also, in the process where participants' perceptions of participation, self-efficacy, and self-esteem affect the will to self-support, it was found that empowerment partially mediated participation perception and self-efficacy and fully mediated self-esteem. Based on these results, the following are practical suggestions for improving self-support project participants' will to self-support as follows. First, systematic training courses are needed in the application and selection of recipients, establishment of self-support plans, and gateway training courses so that participants in self-support projects can correctly recognize self-support projects. Second, it is necessary to systematize the case management system provided by the self-help center and re-establish the role in order to strengthen the participants' hope for self-reliance. Third, it is necessary to identify the strengths of the participants in the self-support project, create results for self-support, and operate a program that strengthens the latent motivation to solve their own problems and change their behavior. Fourth, the empowerment of participants and professional ability of practitioners should be strengthened so that participants can solve the alienation and social exclusion experienced in the process of participating in the project.
In this study, we are purposed to find the educational effect of practical training using a 3D printed structure-based blind box on multidimensional radiographic image interpretation. The subjects were 83 (male: 49, female: 34) 2nd year radiological science students who participated in the digital medical imaging practice that was conducted for 3 years from 2020 to 2022. The learning method used 3D printing technology to print out the inside structure of the blind box designed by itself. After taking X-rays 3 times (x, y, z axis), the structure images in the blind box were analyzed for each small group. We made the 3D structure that was self-made with clay based on our 2D radiographic images. After taking X-rays of the 3D structure, it was compared whether it matches the structural image of the blind box. The educational effect for the practical training surveyed class faithfulness, radiographic image interpretation ability (attenuation concept, contrast concept, windowing concept, 3-dimensional reading ability), class satisfaction (interest, external recommendation, immersion) on a 5-point Likert scale as an anonymous student self-writing method. As a result, all evaluation items had high positive effects without significant differences between males and females. Practical education using blind boxes is a meaningful example of radiology education technology using 3D printing technology, and it is expected to be used as content to improve students' problem-solving skills and increase satisfaction with major subjects.

The purpose of this study is to explore the possibility of applying big data analysis to provide appropriate feedback to students using evaluation data in science education at a time when interest in educational data mining has recently increased in education. In this study, we use the evaluation data of 2,576 students who took 24 questions of the national assessment of educational achievement. And we use K-means cluster analysis as a method of unsupervised machine learning for clustering. As a result of clustering, students were divided into six clusters. The middle-ranking students are divided into various clusters when compared to upper or lower ranks. According to the results of the cluster analysis, the most important factor influencing clusterization is academic achievement, and each cluster shows different characteristics in terms of content domains, subject competencies, and affective characteristics. Learning motivation is important among the affective domains in the lower-ranking achievement cluster, and scientific inquiry and problem-solving competency, as well as scientific communication competency have a major influence in terms of subject competencies. In the content domain, achievement of motion and energy and matter are important factors to distinguish the characteristics of the cluster. As a result, we can provide students with customized feedback for learning based on the characteristics of each cluster. We discuss implications of these results for science education, such as the possibility of using this study results, balanced learning by content domains, enhancement of subject competency, and improvement of scientific attitude.
Technology development related to maritime autonomous surface ships (MASS) is actively progressing around the world. However, since there are still many technically unresolved problems such as communication, cybersecurity, and emergency response capabilities, it is expected that it will take a lot of time for MASS to be commercialized. In this study, we proposed a ship group navigation system in which one leader ship and several follower ship are grouped into one group. In this system, when the leader ship begins to navigate, the follower ship autonomously follows the path of the leader ship. For path following, PD (proportional-derivative) control is applied. In addition, each ship navigates in a straight line shape while maintaining a safe distance to prevent collisions. Speed control was implemented to maintain a safe distance between ships. Simulations were performed to verify the ship group navigation system. The ship used in the simulation is the L-7 model of KVLCC2, which has related data disclosed. And the MMG (Maneuvering Modeling Group) standard method proposed by the Japan Society of Naval Architects and Ocean Engineering (JASNAOE) was used as a model of ship maneuvering motion. As a result of the simulation, the leader ship navigated along a predetermined route, and the follower ship navigated along the leader ship's path. During the simulation, it was found that the three ships maintained a straight line shape and a safe distance between them. The ship group navigation system is expected to be used as a navigation system to solve the problems of MASS.
As the impermeable area of soil increases due to urbanization, the water circulation system of the city is deteriorating. The existing guidelines for low impact development (LID) facilities installed to solve these water problems or in previous studies, engineering aspects are more prominent than landscaping aspects. This study attempted to present an engineering and landscaping model for reducing pollutants by identifying the effects of vegetation on rainfall outflows and pollutant reduction in bioretention and the economic aspects of planting. Based on the results of artificial rainfall monitoring at Jeonju Seogok Park and the literature on vegetation rainfall runoff and pollutant reduction performance, the best vegetation for reducing pollution compared to cost was Lythrum salicaria L and Salix gracilistyla Miq. was the best vegetation for carbon storage. If you insist to design plants with only these two plantation, there is no choice but to take risks such as biodiversity. Herbaceous plants such as Lythrum salicaria L can be replaced by death of the plants or pests if considered planting various plants. The initial planting cost could expensive, but it is also necessary to mix and plant Salix gracilistyla Miq, which are woody plants that are advantageous in terms of maintenance, according to the surrounding environment and conditions. Based on the conclusions drawn in this study, it can be a reference material when considering the reduction of pollution by species and carbon storage of vegetation in LID facilities.
This study analyzes the results of a survey based on classes conducted in the field to understand the educational needs of learners, and reflects the elements necessary for SW education. In this study, various experimental elements according to learning motivation and learning achievement were constructed and designed through previous studies. As a survey applied to this study, experimental elements in three categories: Faculty Competences(FC), Learner Competences(LC), and Educational Conditions(EC) were analyzed by primary area and secondary major, respectively. As a result of analyzing CT-based SW education by area, the development of educational materials, understanding of lectures, and teaching methods showed high satisfaction, while communication with students, difficulty of lectures, and the number of students were relatively low. The results of the analysis by major were found to be more difficult and less interesting in the humanities than in the engineering field. In this study, Based on these statistical results proposes the need for non-major SW education to improve into an interesting curriculum for effective liberal arts education in the future in terms of enhancing learners' problem-solving skills.
The healthcare service industry has become one of the business industries in South Korea where service design is most actively being researched on and applied. In accordance with the recent upsurge of the interest in health, healthcare service is expanding its area including disease prevention, patient management, and rehabilitation treatment as well as cure and nursing care. The health manpower is the supplier, and their professional knowledge and ability and the patients' trust in medical technology are the most important factors for their customers. In addition, service design has come into the spotlight given that the medical institute system, health manpower attitude, and information delivery system and touch point are considered important factors contributing to customer satisfaction. It is very hard to satisfy customers only through professionalism, the environment, and product improvement because healthcare service deals with much more sensitive and emotional customers compared to other service industries. This means that a change in the service mind-set and the attitude of the health manpower as emotional labourers have practical effects. Therefore, the fundamental solution is to establish a system that provides related education with manpower and that settles various problems by itself. This paper introduces several solutions, such as education for health manpower and a service design system applied to a national-university-affiliated hospital in South Korea, and takes a close look at its effects.

Since the late 1990s, the BOT mode in China has been extensively used in the water sector in order to attract private investment, improve technical and operational efficiency, and expand the coverage of water services. The BOT mode has been hailed as this provides a win-win structure between the government and private players through formalized procedures and an optimal risk allocation. However, recent market analyses show that some foreign investors are reluctant to participate in the market or even retreat due to uncertainties and risks in the market. This study aims to explore various risks in the Chinese water BOT market based on the thorough literature review, fieldwork, and the case studies on the two wholly foreign-owned BOT water projects: the Chengdu No. 6 and the Shanghai Dachang Water Supply BOT projects. The research results indicate that the Chinese BOT market embraces high risks in political, institutional and legal, and financial systems. The key to a successful takeoff of the BOT mode in the Chinese water market depends on the extent to which the government will be able to remove risky factors in political, institutional and legal, and financing systems. This research outcome will provide a useful reference to the Korean construction companies which consider expanding business to overseas water markets in the form of public private partnership.
