Problems and Alternatives of Christian Education in Korean Churches in the 21st Century (21세기 한국교회 교회교육의 문제점과 대안)

  • Church education in Korean churches is facing a very serious crisis. This crisis is a negative perception of the church as viewed by the present society. The negative perception of the church has led to children, adolescents, young adults, and even adults leaving the church. There have been countless studies on the problem of Christian education and its alternatives. However, those problems still remain a matter of church education. The alternatives do not become viable and remain a problem. To solve these problems, a paradigm shift is required, and in order to overcome the crisis of the church, it is necessary to study alternatives and its method factors and find application points. Today's church education is absolutely influenced by postmodernism and informationalization. However, church education is education for Christian identity that transmits Christian faith. This Christian education is facing challenges and crises against its religious and academic identity. Christian education has a responsibility to be aware of this reality and to present alternatives to overcome various crises facing church education. Therefore, it is the task of church education to establish standards so that we can live a life where the Bible becomes the standard. In other words, it is to give them biblical faith. Furthermore, it is necessary to point out and understand Christian faith in the Korean church, which has been evaluated as insufficient. In addition, establishing a Christian worldview and realizing the Kingdom of God that practice justice and love in society are tasks that can be accomplished efficiently through Christian education. Therefore, the Korean church should actively seek ways to support the practice of Christian education as well as church education in forming ideal Christians which is the goal of Christian education.

  • This study was conducted to analysis citizen's attitude and style to the foodwaste from loth Sept. to 30th Sept. in 1996. The research was used questionare method and the analysis was used prequency analysis and cross table method by SPSS (scientific statistics). they answered that the most serious environment problem was waste problem and the best way to settle waste problem was to reduce waste production itself. And they answered that to settle environment problems, it was most important for us to change our life style. But It was not agreed between consciousness and action(execution). Because most of the food-related waste was among household waste, it's settlement was the most importment thing than any other. Nevertheless the seperation of waste was essential to effective incineration, the seperation process was not actually conducted and only a few housewife knew the difference of incinerable and non-incinerable waste. The recycling for the disused dry-cells and garbage is not completly. But we think that if the effective government's recycling counterplan for wastes, foodwaste or wasted dry cell, etc., is estabilished, rates of seperation and collection was increasing. Much usuage of onetime vinyl bag for shopping was become the one of the main cause in increasing the package waste, and so it was needed to use the longlife shopping basket.

Development and Application of Robot Task using Tangible Programming Tool for Elementary Students (텐지블 프로그래밍 도구를 활용한 논리적 사고력기반의 초등 로봇 과제 개발 및 적용)

  • Recently, programming education is being actively performed in education field with development of educational programming language and teaching and learning methods for elementary students. However, programming education have limit to apply to the overall computer science curriculum, because it is performed by more than 5th grade and focused on the utilization of programming tools than problem-solving process. It is necessary to expand the range of students and educational content considered with problem-solving process for encouraging programming education in computer science. In this study, we suggest the easy-to-use programming tool for lower grade(1st grade) and robot programming task based on improvement of student's thinking ability. We use Tangible User Interface(TUI) for elementary student's(1st grade) convenience of programming and developed the robot programming task for improvement of logical thinking. As a result of this experiment, tangible programming tool can be used easily in elementary students(1st grade) and developed robot programming task is effective in improvement of logical thinking.

  • The utilization of Information and Communication Technology(ICT) has become increasingly important in educational endeavors. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the current status of the utilization of ICT in elementary schools and to investigate problems and tasks to be solved for the effective use of ICT. Concerning the first purpose, a survey was conducted in February 2000, and the results are reported in this paper. For the second purpose, hindering factors are analyzed in relation to hardware, software, teacher training, curriculum, and administrative and financial support. Undoubtedly, ICT has been playing an important role in education. The effectiveness of this role largely depends upon how ICT is utilized in educational setting. Thus educators should carefully consider all aspects of the implementation of ICT, and devote efforts to solve problems occurring in the process of the implementation.

  • Interest in Edutech increased rapidly during the pandemic. In a situation where face-to-face classes are impossible, Edutech has become an important issue for schools and the public. Therefore, this study reviewed newspaper articles in Edutech of major daily newspapers nationwide, analyzed the main contents, characteristics, and issues of discourse on this, and explored tasks. Edutech discourse initially emphasized most of its usefulness as an educational tool, but new issues emerged during the pandemic. Beyond the use of new technology, how to induce and sustain learners' will become an issue and remain a task. In addition, as a public education, securing fairness in school records and evaluations and protecting the personal information of related people became sensitive issues. In applying Edutech, the problem of preferential treatment for any technology company has also become controversial. This issue is an area other than technology, but it remains a task in the edutech problem.

  • The purpose of this study is to take a look the situation of social enterprises under CIVID-19 Pandemic and to suggest future directions. The COVID-19 pandemic which started at the end of 2019, has influenced the various areas of our society, such as health, economic, social and networking. The virus is spread through human respiratory, and it is working as a disability factor in human focused social economy. Under the COVID-19 pandemic situation, Social entrepreneurs are being constrained in financial aspects. In the process of continuing pandemic, the size of the social economy has been expanded and cleaning & health businesses are showing economic performance. This is to tell the fact that social economy is solving COVID-19 issues based on a reciprocity and solidarity. To create a sustainable ecosystem for the social economy, we should select and promote universal and concrete future directions at the economic and social safety net building level rather than to respond to COVID-19.

A Study on the development of Creative Problem Solving Classes for University Students (창의적 문제해결형 대학 수업 개발 연구)

  • Recently, many university classes have been changing from instructor-centered classes to learner-centered classes, and universities are trying to establish a new direction for university education, especially to foster talented people suitable for the Fourth Industrial Revolution. To this end, universities are presenting various competencies necessary for students and focusing on research on efficient education plans for each competency. Among them, creativity is considered the most important competency that students should obtain in universities. Developing a creative problem-solving-based subject where various majors gather to produce results while conducting creative team activities away from desk classes is considered a meaningful subject to cultivate capacities suitable for the requirements of the times. Therefore, this study purpose to develop creative problem-solving-based subjects and analyze the results of class progress. This creative problem-solving-based class is an Action Learning class for step-by-step idea development, which starts with a theoretical lecture for creative idea development and then consists of five stages of Action Learning. The tasks of action learning used in this class consisted of ceramic expression to increase the intimacy of the formed group and the group's collective expression, ideas in life to combine and compress individual ideas into one, environmental improvement programs around schools, and finally UCC on various topics. In the theoretical lecture conducted throughout the class, a class was conducted on Scientific Thinking for creative problem solving, and then a group-type action learning class was conducted sequentially. This Action Learnin process gradually increased the difficulty level and led to in-depth learning by increasing the level of difficulty step by step.

  • In order to explain why begging the question is a fallacy, some of the challenges must be met. First we need to understand what begging the question is in subtle ways. In addition, it is necessary to reflect on the nature and the purpose of arguments in order to explain why begging the question is a fallacy. In this paper, I first have a general proposal about the main purpose of arguments. Then I place my own multi-layered theory of begging the question proposed in a previous study in the context of the proposals in this paper for the main purpose of arguments. Moreover, I develop a more comprehensive theory of why begging the question is a fallacy. Finally, I examine and criticize the main previous theories of begging the question, such as Frank Jackson's theory, Douglas Walton's theory, David Sanford's theory, John Biro's theory.

Utilization Outlook of Medical Big Data in the Cloud Environment (클라우드 환경에서 의료 빅데이터 활용 및 전망)

  • Among methods of the big data process, big data process under the cloud environment is becoming a main topic. As part of solving faced problem and strengthening industrial competitiveness in the medical and health industry, discussion on ways to activate big data is actively being conducted. Because the reason is a paradigm shift, saving pressure for increasing health care costs, and increased consumer interest for the level of service. In this paper, we find out the relationship between the cloud and big data. And we are to research and analysis a cloud-based big data case in the medical field. Finally we propose the efficient utilization and future outlook. For the smooth functioning of cloud-based medical big data, we have to solve the problems like infrastructure extension, analysis/application software development, and professional manpower training. In addition, we have to correct insufficient laws maintenance to the Cloud utilization, and improve the security and the recognition to personal information, and solve authority for data centralization.

Design of User Integrated Authentication System in Heterogeneous Distributed Cloud Service Brokerage Environment (이종 분산 클라우드 서비스 브로커리지 환경에서의 사용자 통합 인증 시스템 설계)

  • Currently, cloud systems are not interoperable due to low interoperability between cloud systems as operators build up cloud environments with their own way. For example, users of the Google cloud system can not use the Microsoft (Microsoft) cloud system unless they go through an additional log-in process. In order for Google cloud system's users to use MS cloud system services, they must log in to the MS cloud system again after logging out of Google cloud system. In order to solve these problems, Cloud Service Broker(CSB) technology has emerged to resolve the interoperability problem between cloud systems, but many researches and developments are still needed. In this paper, we design an integrated user authentication system, which is a fundamental problem of cloud user interoperability among CSB (Cloud Service Broker) technologies, which is emerging as a service intervention technology of heterogeneous distributed cloud environment.
