학교보건 교육을 진단한다

  • "2천년대에는 모든 이의건강을"이라는 슬로건 하에 세계 여러 나라에서 국민건강관리를 위한 많은 일들을 하고 있다. 그러한 흐름은 특정 계층이나 연령을 대상으로 하는 것이 아니라 평생의 건강을 보장한다는데에 그 촛점을 두고 있다. 여기에서 특히 강조되는 것은, 자신의 건강은 자신이 지켜나가야 하며, 이를 위해 우선적으로 이루어져야 하는 것이 보건교육이라는 것이다. 또한 이 보건교육은 생활습관이 형성되고 , 생활양식이 정착되는 가장 중요한 시기인 학생시기에 이루어지는 것이 바람직하다는 것이다. 그러나 이러한 흐름에도 불구하고, 우리나라의 학교 보건교육은 아직까지도 많은 문제를 안고 있다는 것이 일반적인 평가이다. 이번 호에는 미래를 책임질 청소년의 건강관리를 위해 그 바탕이 될 학교보건 교육의 현재를 진단해 보고 그 해결방안을 모색하여 보고자 한다.

Towards Efficient Aquaculture Monitoring: Ground-Based Camera Implementation for Real-Time Fish Detection and Tracking with YOLOv7 and SORT (효율적인 양식 모니터링을 향하여: YOLOv7 및 SORT를 사용한 실시간 물고기 감지 및 추적을 위한 지상 기반 카메라 구현)

  • With 78% of current fisheries workers being elderly, there's a pressing need to address labor shortages. Consequently, active research on smart aquaculture technologies, centered on object detection and tracking algorithms, is underway. These technologies allow for fish size analysis and behavior pattern forecasting, facilitating the development of real-time monitoring and automated systems. Our study utilized video data from cameras outside aquaculture facilities and implemented fish detection and tracking algorithms. We aimed to tackle high maintenance costs due to underwater conditions and camera corrosion from ammonia and pH levels. We evaluated the performance of a real-time system using YOLOv7 for fish detection and the SORT algorithm for movement tracking. YOLOv7 results demonstrated a trade-off between Recall and Precision, minimizing false detections from lighting, water currents, and shadows. Effective tracking was ascertained through re-identification. This research holds promise for enhancing smart aquaculture's operational efficiency and improving fishery facility management.

The Relationship of Young Children's Cognitive Style to Patterns in Problem Solving Skills : Using the Dynamic Assessment Process (역동적 평가과정에서의 유아의 인지양식에 따른 패턴문제 해결력)

  • This study examined how cognitive style in young children affects mathematical problem-solving performance. Findings showed that the types of patterns presented were linked to the degree of difficulty of the tasks and that disparity between field-independent and field-dependent in cognitive style was broader when subjects worked with more complicated pattern problems. Subjects' marks varied by cognitive style when dynamic assessment was conducted, but cognitive style made no difference in their mathematical learning capability. Cognitive style had an impact not only on the task performance of the learners but on the extent to which they were in need of help during the problem-solving process. Yet, it exercised no influence on how much progress the subjects made when fully assisted.

An Analysis of Representation Usage Ability and Characteristics in Solving Math Problems According to Students' Academic Achievement (수학 문제 해결에서 학업성취도에 따른 표상 활용 능력과 특징 분석)

  • In this paper, the ability to use mathematical representations in solving math problem was analyzed according to student assessment levels using 113 first-year high school students, and the characteristics of their representation usage according to student assessment levels were also examined. For this purpose, problems were presented that could be solved using various mathematical representations, and the students were asked to solve them using a maximum of three different methods. Also, based on the comparative analysis results of a paper evaluation, six students were selected and interviewed, and the reasons for their representation usage differences were analyzed according to their student assessment levels. The results of the analysis show that over 50% of high ranking students used two or more representations in all questions to solve problems, but with middle ranking students, there were deviations depending on the difficulty of the questions. Low ranking students failed to use representation in diverse ways when solving problems. As for characteristics of symbol usage, high ranking students preferred using formulas and used mathematical representations efficiently while solving problems. In contrast, middle and low ranking students mostly used tables or pictures. Even when using the same representations, high ranking students' representations were expressed in a more structurally refined manner than those by middle and low ranking students.

A Study on Approaches to Algebra Focusing on Patterns and Generalization (패턴과 일반화를 강조한 대수 접근법 고찰)

  • In this paper, we deal with the teaching of algebra based on patterns and generalization. The past algebra curriculum starts with letters(variables), algebraic expressions, and equations, but these formal approaching method has many difficulties in the school algebra. Therefore we insist the new algebraic approaches should be needed. In order to develop these instructions, we firstly investigate the relationship of patterns and algebra, the relationship of generalization and algebra, the steps of generalization from patterns and levels of difficulties. Next we look into the algebra instructions based arithmetic patterns, visual patterns and functional situations. We expect that these approaches help students learn algebra when they begin school algebra.

The relationship between a cognitive styles and a technological problem solving among the industrial high school students (공업계 고등학교 학생의 장독립·장의존 인지양식과 기술적 문제해결과의 관계)

  • The purpose of this study is to contemplate the relationship between a cognitive styles(field-independence/dependence, Fl/D)and a technological problem solving(TPS) among the industrial high school students. When it comes to perception, remembrance and consideration, we all have our own individual and steady patterns. We call them cognitive styles. FI/D is one kind of cognitive styles and it is about how dependently we perceive the field which each object has. Custer(1995) presented the technological problem among problem solving existed in various types as organizing it with four conceptional frames, which are invention, design, trouble shooting and procedures. We tested 56students belong to B industrial high school in A city, Korea. We used Group Embedded Figures Test(GEFT) to experiment the FI/D cognitive styles. We also did the TPS test by using an appliance which a researcher has developed. The appliance was made according to the technological problem and its validity was justified by an expert. We came up with a correlation coefficient between the FI/D cognitive styles and TPS to figure out what kind of relationship those two variable factors have and how much they are correlated each other. The correlation coefficient turned out ".59" which means they have significant and positive correlation.To find out the TPS difference between FI group and FD group, we compared each group's TPS score. As a result of the analysis, the FI group's TPS score is significantly higher than FD group's one.

The Consistency of High school Students Responses Concepts of 'Atmospheric and Water Cycle' according to Task Contexts ('대기와 물의 순환' 관련 개념들에 대한 과제 상황에 따른 고등학생들의 응답의 일관성)

  • The purposes of this study was to analyze the knowledge sources and of high school students' responses on tasks in scientific context and tasks in everyday context, and was to investigate the relationship between the consistency of responses and cognitive style. One hundred fifteen students participated in study. The students were asked to solve ten paris of problems about several concepts of circulation of atmosphere and water. Each pair of the problems consisted of two questions which were about the same concept but were about different context. That is to say, one questions related to scientific context and the other related to everyday context. Every questions included one subquestion in other to investigate the students' sources of knowledge. The students' responses on two questions in each problem were analyzed in order to compare the sources of knowledge and examine the influence of task context. The results of the study can be summarized as follows: First, students' knowledge sources varied by task contexts. That is to say, the students selected 'Science activities in school' as main source in questions related scientific context and chose 'Experience in daily life' as main source in questions related to everyday context. Second, inconsistency score on all paris of problem was significantly higher than consistency score (p<.01). This result indicated students' responses were much dependent on context. third, field-dependent students were more dependent on context, considering higher inconsistency score than field-dependent ones.

디지털 저작권과 프라이러시의 경합과 균형

  • 이 글의 목적은 디지털 저작권과 프라이버시 사이의 경합적 요인을 분석하고 균형을 위한 대안을 제시하는데 있다. 현재 대부분의 디지털 저작권 보호기술의 핵심은 사용자를 식별할 수 있는 방법에 있는데, 이러한 사용자 식별은 익명성을 기반으로 하는 프라이버시에 대한 침해요인이 되고 있다. 이와 같은 경합적 요인을 해결하기 위해 익명성을 보장하는 디지털 저작권 관리기술들이 많이 제안되었으나, 그 대부분이 부분적인 문제에 대한 프로토콜의 형태로 이루어진 대안으로, 현재의 인터넷 환경, 사용자의 행동양식, 경제적 요인 등과 부합하지 않는 측면이 많아 적용하기 곤란하다. 한편, 디지털 저작권 보호를 위한 여러 기술적 노력들도 사실상 저작권 보호 효과는 미미한 반면, 사용자의 권리와 프라이버시에 대한 침해요인을 증대시키고 있다. 현재의 상황은 디지털 저작권과 프라이버시의 균형을 위한 기술적 해결이 요원한 상태이다. 이러한 상황에서 균형을 위한 대안으로 법률에 의한 조정과 새로운 비즈니스 모델을 통한 디지털 저작권 보호가 효과적임을 주장하고자 한다. 즉, 기술적 완벽성보다는 사용자 편리성에 의한 실질적인 저작권보호와 법률과 사용자 계도를 통한 프라이버시 보호를 제안한다.

A Study on the Elements of Interior Design in Victorian Style (빅토리안 스타일 주택 실내 디자인에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of the present study is to investigate the characteristics of the current Victorian-style interior by reviewing the basic Victorian-style house in the past. this research was analyzed various prior studies and literatures, and found the following results: First, the Victorian-style house and interior space showed various historical trends and adopted every style from Gothic to rococo, and sometimes more than one style influenced a single place. Its formality was applied depending on the function and standard of each room. Second, the interior had many decorative things with free, irregular or other patterns, influenced by Romanticism and Naturalism. The several environmental factors such as air pollution and hygienic matter were also related with its trend. the dramatic changes in the kitchen and sanitary facilities were appeared based on the technical development, and affluent design styles were also used. All these reflected the characteristics of the Victorian age. In conclusion, the characteristics of Victorian-style were influenced by many factors including: (a) the trend of Romanticism and Naturalism, (b) consideration of family convenience based on the technical development, (c) the Socio-Environmental factors like air pollution and the social norm, and (d) reflection of the individual value in accordance with frequent contacts with foreign cultures. In this respect, it is necessary to reevaluate the Victorian-style after paying due regard to such factors.

  • 정보통신의 발달은 사람들의 생활양식을 변화시키고 있지만 정보와 환경의 급속한 발전에도 불구하고 장애인, 노인 등은 정보화 혜택을 제대로 받지 못하여 소외되고 있다. 전 세계에서는 이러한 문제를 직시하고 정보격차를 좁히기 위한 한 방안으로 웹 접근성의 문제를 제기했고 꾸준히 해결점을 찾고 있지만 우리나라의 경우 이에 대한 연구 노력은 부족한 실정에 있다. 본 연구에서는 두 가지의 웹 접근성 평가도구를 선정하여 사이버대학 웹 사이트를 중심으로 웹 접근성을 평가해 보고 그 평가도구를 비교 분석함으로써 개선방안을 제시하였다.
