A Analysis on the Usage Status and Promotion of Multimodal Transport Logistics Terms in Incoterms, 2010 (Incoterms, 2010의 복합운송물류조건의 이용실태 분석과 활성화)

  • The purpose of this paper is to suggest a plan on promoting use of multimodal transport logistics terms in Incoterms, 2010. This study deals with the terms of three promotion factors which are a user's subjective factors, a trade transport logistics environment factors, and a term content factors. According to analysis results of the factors, a user's subjective factors(3.87 score) are scored the most ones of promotion factors of using multimodal transport logistics terms in Incoterms, 2010, to be compared with a trade transport logistics environment factors(3.60 score). with a term content factors(3.74 score). Therefore, first of all, it is important to promoting use of multimodal transport logistics terms in Incoterms, 2010 through as follows, a user's subjective factors : (1) to understand correlation of door to door multimodal transport and terms of Incoterms, 2010, (2) to promote use of multimodal transport logistics terms in Incoterms, 2010 in door to door multimodal transport, (3) to restrain customary use of FOB, CFR, CIF terms. And, the next, we have to promote use of multimodal transport logistics terms in Incoterms, 2010 through considering a trade transport logistics environment factors and a term content factors.

  • 최근의 통상환경중 "Logistics" 혁명을 통한 컨테이너 운송의 신속화, 인터넷혁명을 통한 전자상거래 활성화는 EDI, EC등을 통해 "Paperless trade"가 실현을 앞당기고 있다. 본 논고는 이러한 물류혁명과 인터넷 정보기술의 발달로 대두되는 문제중 기존의 종이서류로서의 운송서류를 전자식 운송서류로 대체하는데 따른 문제점과 이의 활성화 방안에 대해서 살펴보고자 한다. 인터넷 전자거래가 활성화되어지면 기존의 종이서류들은 전자메시지로 대체될 것으로 여겨진다. 이에 따라 전자계약서, 전자송장, 전자보험증권, 전자선하증권 등이 출현할 것이지만 이중 무엇보다도 전자식 운송서류중 유통성 운송서류의 전자화는 그간 전자화의 핵심부문으로 여겨서 상당한 중요성을 두어왔다. 현재 이용되는 유통성 운송서류는 그간 선하증권의 지연도착문제와 이에 따른 추가 경비의 소요, 또한 선하증권 발급에 따른 부대경비의 과다소비, 종이서류로서의 선하증권의 위조에 따른 사기문제 등에 제기되어 졌고 이에 따라 선취화물보상장 등의 현실적 대안이 제시되었지만 이 또한 여러 문제점을 야기시켜왔다. 전자식 운송서류는 이러한 문제점을 다소 해소할 수 있는 방안으로 알려져 왔다. 전자거래가 활성활 될 미래에는 운송서류의 전자화는 필연적으로 대두되게 될 것이고, 이러한 전자화에 있어 해상운송장의 사용은 바람직한 모델로 여겨지고 있다. 그렇지만 전매가 잦은 산업에 있어 해상운송장은 자체의 유통성의 미비로 인해 그 사용에 문제점이 있고, 실제 상관행에서 많은 이점을 가진 선하증권의 발행 욕구를 충족시켜 줄 수 있어야 할 것이다. 본 논고에서는 전자식 운송서류의 활성화 방안으로 첫째, 전자식 운송서류에 관한 법률정비가 필요할 것으로 여겨지며 둘째, 유통성 전자식 운송서류에 있어 관리기관의 안정성이 확보되어야 할 것으로 여겨지며 셋째, UCP에서 전자식 운송서류에 관한 조항이 삽입되어져야 할것으로 여겨지며 넷째, 여러 측면에서 우위성을 지닌 전자무역거래의 활성화는 점차적으로 운송서류의 전자화를 활성화시키는데 반드시 필요한 명제로 등장할 것으로 여겨진다.

  • The automotive supply chain is increasingly complex as automakers seek more profitable solutions with global out-sourcing and manufacturing strategies. In the automotive industry, using returnable plastic containers (RPCs) is very common for domestic operations, but for internationally, it has not been considered by many companies because of issues such as overall distance and difficulty of control. The results of this simulation can help to analyze the interactive and coherent behavior of packaging and supply chain systems. The data obtained from the model can be applied to make substantial decisions for choosing the most profitable packaging types, at the same time as it can lead to designing an optimum supply chain for RPCs used in international supply chains.

  • 산업 및 무역, 유통 기업들은 수많은 물류자원이 된다. 이러한 기업들은 물류 비용을 절감하기 위해 전문 물류 기업에 물품 운송 부분을 맡긴다. 전문 물류 관리 기업들은 컴퓨터와 인터넷의 발전으로 공급자, 구매자와 타사 기업들간에 인터넷으로 서로 연결된다. 하지만 서로 다른 회사에서 사용하고 관리하는 소프트웨어 때문에 이기종데이터는 타사 기업을 위한 물류 정보시스템에 큰 문제가 된다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 전문 물류 회사를 위한 도메인 온톨로지 기반의 검색 프레임워크를 제안한다. 제안한 도메인 온톨로지 기반의 검색 프레임워크는 통합 환경에서 전문 물류 회사를 위한 다양한 시스템과 프로세스를 포함한 문서로 제공될 수 있고 여러 다양한 문서의 통합 검색을 지원하며 문서 안의 의미 정보를 고려할 수 있다.

  • At present, on increasing to use a computer network and internet network, Internet Trade has been rapidly created and developed in international Electronic Commerce. However, Internet Trade has not been continued to grow up without supporting by a efficient Logistics System. Because it is very important to delivery contract commodities to consumer with speedy, accurate, steady, convenient services. International Logistics System is consisted of demand forecasting, order processing, packing, labeling, shipping documentation and consumer service into three distant phases of transaction, distribution and payment. International Logistics System can be done more efficiently and effectively by using Internet Logistics System. Therefore it is very important to implementing a efficient Internet Logistics System.

A Study on logistics Performance Index andSupply Chain Tracking Data during the Covid-19 Pandemic (Covid-19 팬데믹시기 물류성과지수와 공급망 추적 데이터에 대한 고찰)

  • The Covid-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on global logistics and supply chains, leading to major discrepancies in logistics performance across countries worldwide. Through an examination of logistics performance index and supply chain tracking data, this study aimed to identify the changes in global supply chains and logistics environments during the pandemic. The analysis of the logistics performance index showed that overall, countries around the world, especially developed nations, showed improvements in metrics such as customs and border management efficiency, the quality of trade and transport infrastructure, capability and quality of logistics services, and cargo tracking abilities. However, the competitive pricing feasibility of international transportation and the on-time delivery frequency of goods saw a decline due to the pandemic's effects. The supply chain tracking data revealed that ports in Asian countries demonstrated high processing efficiency. In contrast, the U.S. and European countries took comparatively more time. Particularly for air cargo, parcels, and express shipments, the U.S. showed relatively longer processing times, leading to logistical delays. In conclusion, during the Covid-19 pandemic, Asian countries maintained relatively high efficiency in their logistics and trade environments. Conversely, the U.S. and some European countries showed delays and decreased efficiency in various metrics. In the future, efforts should be made to address delays and congestion, namely, the deceleration of logistics processes.

Development and Promotion of International Intermodal Transportation Route from Northeast 3 Provinces in China (중국 동북3성 기점 국제복합운송루트 개발과 발전 방안)

  • With rapid economic development in China, cargoes from and to China are growing significantly. The 3 Northeast Provinces of China(named Liaoniang, Jilin, Heilongjiang provinces), bordering the Korean Peninsular, is not exception in development of international trade. However long distance from the 3 Northeast Provinces to seaports generates huge transit time and costs because Dalian port is far away almost 1,000km from Jilin and Heiloongjiang Provinces. The new intermodal transport route through the port of Jarubino located in the Russian Far East is under way to reduce the costs incurred from inland transport. This paper investigates the competitiveness of the new international intermodal transport route from the 3 Northeast Provinces in terms of transit time and transport costs. According to the results of this research, The establishment of the new international intermodal transport with development of Jarubino port is expected to increase the competitiveness of trade cargoes from the 3 Northeast Provinces while Korea has a good opportunity to join the port development in the Russian Far East. Futhermore the port of Busan is also benefited the growing transit cargoes from the new intermodal transport route.

  • This thesis describes the key elements for efficient customs clearance system which can facilitate flow of maritime container cargo in the pier area of Busan port, on the basis of considering great changes on international trade environment, development of customs clearance system, variation of commercial container traffic, and diverse views originated from field experience in the distribution industry. To facilitate the flow of maritime containers, reform plan of bonded-transportation and import declaration is proposed to relieve the customs restriction during the days from discharging cargos to taking them into bonded warehouse. Also, various plans to strengthen maritime security, such as customs exam of high-risk export cargos in loading port, pre-declaration of transit container replacement, container tracing system, are proposed to improve Busan port's competitiveness in safety.

  • Recently, with the US protection trade trend, South Korea 's exports to the US have shrunk and the need to pioneer emerging markets in Eurasia has increased. Due to the bankruptcy of Hanjin Shipping, a large Korean national shipping company, the necessity of securing transportation that can replace the Asian - European shipping route has emerged. Moreover, as the international trade and logistics environment is rapidly changing due to the spread of electronic commerce, it is time to prepare for the environment where IT technology is applied to international logistics activities. Therefore, this study was carried out to establish information strategy of Eurasia logistics information sharing platform from Korean perspective through comparison of logistics information level of Eurasian countries. This study aims at standardization direction for supporting logistics activities between Eurasian countries, providing customs clearance and logistics services without interruption, providing information for expanding business of trade companies, and building information linkage infrastructure for expanding cooperation between logistics companies across countries. Through this study, it is expected that logistics activities through information sharing among countries will be actively carried out.

A Study on Construction of Domain Ontology in Third-party Logistics (제3자 물류 환경에서 도메인 온톨로지 구축)

  • A large number of industry and trade circulation enterprises integrate logistics resource. They give links of product transport to some professional logistics enterprises in order to reduce costs. We call these professional logistics enterprises as the Third-party Logistics. As the development of the computer and internet, the suppliers, buyers and the Third-party Enterprises connect each other with internet. And different company use different management software, so heterogeneous data become a big problem of the information system for Third-party Enterprises. We built the logistics ontology with prot$\'{e}$g$\'{e}$, and translate it in OWL. We also built the rules for Logistics Ontology to improve the limitations of the OWL. Then we design the intelligent system for 3PL Enterprises Distribution Center based on Logistics Ontology and Logistics Rules. At final, we give an example to show the workflow visually.
