The Study of Structural Relationship of Consumer Awareness in Fair Trade Product (공정무역제품에 대한 소비자 인식의 구조적 관계에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the structure relationship through the empirical analysis between the factors that affect the perception of the consumer for the fair trade products. Most of the previous research on consumer reactions associated with fair trade products are limited to certain situations that are characterized as exploratory look. Specifically, this study suitability as a key factor associated with consumer awareness of the fair trade products through review of the literature, reliability, consumption values, attitudes and purchase intention presentation, and was to examine the effect relationship. Although most of the theories are employed through empirical analysis, the relationship between reliability and purchase intention (H5), there was no statistically significant effect relationship. The results of this study are expected to provide significant implications in the establishment of the company's marketing strategy to sell fair trade products with the comprehensive understanding of the consumer recognition of the fair trade products.

  • Electronic Trade is dramatically changing classical international trade paradigms. In particular, under the new economic environment, the ability to utilize and Information Technologies such as Electronic Data Interchange, Web-based EDI, ebXML, web service, Internet are emerging as an important factor in deciding the competitiveness of export business. The primary purpose of this study is (1) to investigate motivation factors and performance factors of electronic trade, (2) to show the relationship between motivation factors and the level of the utilization of e-trade, (3) to reveal the relationship between the level of the utilization and performance factors of e-trade. Analysis of survey questionnaire of Korean middle and small companies indicates the following : (1) motivation factors such as cost factor, education and promotion and the search of new market, have positive effect on the level of utilization of e-trade. (2) the level of utilization of e-trade has positive effect on the performance factors such as cost factor, the search of new market, the improvement of task process.

  • It is very crucial that small and medium-sized enterprises, called SMEs, should play a pivotal role in creating jobs and contributing to export. Day by day under the influence of the increment globalization of the world market and the rapid changes of business environment, our country has been heavily dependent on export to the foreign countries. Therefore, both enterprises' Marketing Mix such as Product, Price, Place and Promotion and global competitiveness are essential elements to raise the volume of export. The purpose of this research is to find out the relationships between Marketing Mix and Marketing Performance. The considerable number of 338 domestic export SMEs was surveyed to verify the hypothesis and research model through a covariance structure analysis via AMOS 18.0, accompanied by the confirmatory factor analysis to prove suggested potential variables. After the strenuous empirical analysis, the relationship between marketing mix elements and marketing performance, the place and promotion element of 4Ps' Mix proved to have a postive impact on marketing performance. This research focused on Marketing Mix as major elements in marketing performance. Theoretical and practical implications are generated to help both enterprises and policy-makers that cover comprehensive government policies for SMEs.

기획 - 인쇄물 수출 - 인쇄물 내수물량 한계 탈출구는 수출 -

  • 지난해 인쇄업계의 인쇄물수출은 전년에 비해 20% 가까운 증가세를 보인 가운데 2억5천만 달러를 기록했다. 인쇄물수입은 2.6% 증가에 그쳤지만 금액으로 3억6352만 달러를 기록해 인쇄물의 무역수지는 1억 달러가 넘는 적자를 기록한 것으로 나타났다. 최근 수년간 인쇄물의 수출액이 2억 달러 수준에서 제자리걸음에 가까운 움직임을 보이고 있는 가운데 인쇄물의 무역 수지는 여전히 적자를 벗어나지 못하고 있는 현상이 고착화되지 않을까 하는 우려가 일고 있다. 더욱이 지난해처럼 달러화, 유로화, 엔화 등 기축통화에 대한 원화의 가치가 떨어지면서 수출에서의 가격경쟁력이 상대적으로 높아진 것으로 평가됨에도 불구하고 기대만큼의 높은 증가세를 보이지 못한 것은 아쉬움을 남기고 있다. 또한 대안 마련의 필요성도 대두되고 있다. 해외 마케팅 전문인력의 부족, 미흡한 정부 차원의 수출지원, 중국 등 후발국가에 대한 가격 경쟁 열세 등 우리 인쇄산업의 수출 확대에 가로 놓인 어려움이 적지 않지만 이런 어려움 가운데서도 인쇄물 수출에 아낌없는 노력을 기울여 나름대로의 성과를 거두고 있는 업체들도 있다. 긴 호흡으로 보아야 한다는 인쇄물 수출 분야에 단기간의 성과를 기대하며 도전하는 것은 금물이라는 말이 있다. 내수시장의 고질적인 어려움을 감안, 중장기적으로 수출시장의 개척에 대해 진지하게 모색하는 것은 이제 인쇄업계에 몸담고 있는 이라면 누구라도 공감할 과제의 하나로 다가오고 있다. 인쇄물 수출분야에서 성과를 거두고 있는 업체들을 만나 본다.

  • As a very rapid diffusion of internet business in these days, the marketing mix strategies become more important matters. In addition, because of changes in international trade patterns, and an increase of internet users, new marketing strategies are needs. There's not a business in the world that shouldn't feel threatened by the internet, but companies willing to become engaged should find big opportunities. Becoming engaged with the internet, for matters, means understanding the unique nature of the internet market and using that understanding to execute dynamic strategies. This paper is focusing the analysing the difference between the internet marketing and traditional marketing and proposing the new strategical marketing mix. In the traditional marketing environment, 4P(Product, Price, Promotion, Place) is very important, but in the internet business environment 6C(Community, Connection, Commerce, Communication, Customization, Contents) is more important.

  • This study suggests the necessity of effort to develop representative brands a unique personality in connection with country image. That is, brand personality adds brand identity to reliability and makes for stronger brand in the international market. It also furnishes the differentiation for guilding effective brand marketing. In summary, it is clear that country image and brand personality are strategic factors which should be considered by world enterprises and government in this era of globalization. In addition, the cross-cultural examination of country of origin effect and brand personality in connection with foreign consumers' selection is worthy of study.

  • Our eyewear industry, the recent growing its position has been weakened because of Chinese low labor costs, Japanese quality and technology and Italian excellent design, brand and marketing. Investigate the recent trend for the trade balance of China and Italia, the largest importer of the eyewear market in Korea. Sunglasses are the most vulnerable sectors of the eyeglasses industry in Korea. Continued investment and attention is needed to the eyewear design for the improvement of the trade balance.

The Effects of Technological and International Marketing Capability of SMEs in Gwangju·Jeonnam Province on Export Performance: Focusing on the Moderating Role of CEO's Risk-taking Propensity (광주·전남지역 중소기업의 기술역량과 국제마케팅역량이 수출성과에 미치는 영향: CEO 위험감수성의 조절효과를 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze whether SMEs' technological capabilities and international marketing capabilities affect the export performance of the SMEs and to empirically test the moderating effect of the CEO's risk propensity on such a relationship. We obtained data from 190 SMEs located in Gwangju and Jeonnam Province in Korea through survey and performed a regression analysis for hypothesis testing based on these data. As a result of the analysis, it was found that SMEs' technological capabilities and international marketing capabilities had a significantly positive (+) effect on export performance, respectively. Also, the CEO's risk propensity was found to reinforce the relationship between technical competence and export performance, and the relationship between marketing capabilities and export performance was also found to be strengthened in the positive (+) direction. These results suggest that it is necessary for SMEs to continuously develop technological capabilities and international marketing capabilities to achieve successful export performance in overseas markets. Also, the CEO's propensity to promote these relationships may be important.

  • This paper proposed several activation strategies at both the government and company parts for the development of domestic third party logistics(TPL) to pull electronic trade era much earlier. In the government side, it must need to arrange and integrate complex regulation rules on the Logistics for more smooth access and use the TPL market. Also, it has to provide multiple support policies such as tax reduction, technical and financial service providing, and logistics information system to TPL. Finally, it should construct the government levels education system to train and forster a competent man who is well qualified as a electronic and logiscic expert. The TPL company must build up a total logistics information system concerned with an innovative operation system such as SCM, JIT etc. which can provide logistic services on demand to the electronic trade customers to maximize consumer satisfaction. In the shipper company level, it try to join a long-term strategic alliance with TPL to reduce logistic cost and increase logistic service to its electronic trade consumers.

A New View on Mokpo Port Development Strategies (목포항 물동량 변화에 따른 항만개발전략)

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest the new port development concepts in relation to the Mokpo port development. To analysis, we examine the relationship between the trade volumes which the port have and the capacities of the port facilities with 8 Korean seaport data. As a result of analysis, the trade volumes of port were found to be the major factors positively influencing the capacities of the port facilities in Korean ports. This findings shows that Mokpo port which trying to increase the trade volumes should have the new alternatives for Mokpo regional development. The new alternatives on the Mokpo Port's development are the model which constructing the Free Trade Zone(FTZ) and port city.
