Cyber attacks are an important factor that determines the victory and defeat of Network-centric wars in which advanced weapon systems are highly interlinked. In addition the increasing dependability on software as its develop as the latest fighter is demanding enhanced security measures for fighter software to Cyber attacks. In this paper, we apply the DO-326A, which is an airworthiness security certification standard, to design a risk-based security threat assessment process by reflecting characteristics and operational environment of fighter aircraft. To do this, we add the following steps in security threat assessment stage of DO-326A's airworthiness security certification process. First, we derive security threats of fighter. And then, we scored the security threat in terms of possibility and impact on the fighter. Finally, we determine the security risk severity.
The jadeite powder has a disadvantage affecting the stability of the formulation due to the agglomeration of the powder when applied to cosmetic formulations. To overcome this problem, a new composite powder was prepared by modifying the surface of jadeite powder and applied to foundation pact and sun stick. In this study, a triethoxycaprylylsilane among various surface modifiers was selected as an optimum component, and applied to each formulation by making the jadeite powder composite. As a result, the foundation pact maintained the clarity of the product color, and the sun stick gave about 30% higher UV blocking effect in the UVB area compared with that of the blank. In the user sensory evaluation, the formulation containing the jadeite powder composite showed a high score for the overall indicator. The stability evaluation of the formulation was also confirmed that it was stable against discoloration, detachment and hardness. In conclusion, the jadeite powder composite is stable as an inorganic pigment which is applicable to cosmetics as a multifunctional material while maintaining the color clarity of the product and acting as a booster for sunscreen agents.

Industrial control systems (ICS) are increasingly targeted by security incidents as attackers' knowledge of ICS characteristics grows and their connectivity to information technology expands. Vulnerabilities related to ICS are growing rapidly, but patching all vulnerabilities in a timely manner is challenging. The common vulnerability assessment system used to patch vulnerabilities has limitations as it does not consider weaponization after discovery. To address this, this study defines criteria for classifying attacker skill levels based on open information including operating technology and vulnerability information in ICS. The study also proposes a method to evaluate vulnerability severity that reflects actual risk and urgency by incorporating the corresponding attribute in the existing severity score calculation. Case studies based on actual accidents involving vulnerabilities were conducted to confirm the effectiveness of the evaluation method in the ICS environment.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the component and quality characteristics of green tea. Four kinds of green tea powder obtained from Hwagae area were evaluated the component of carbohydrates, protein crude fat and crude ash. Also the content of ascorbic acid, minerals and polyphenols in green tea powder were evaluated. Quality characteristics of green tea powder was evaluated by Hunter's colur value and sensory evaluation. Green tea was composed of $9.2\~11.8\%$ of moisture, $4.9\~6.1\%$ of crude ash, $5.2\~6.1\%$ of crude fat, $22.5\~26.4\%$ of protein and $50.4\~55.1\%$ of cabohydrates. The content of total ascorbic acid in green tea powder was $312\~392mg/100g$ and dehydiuascorbic acid was $157\~176mg/100g$. The contents of minerals in green tea powder sodium was $340\~580mg/100g$, magnesium was $242\~320mg/100g$, potassium $223\~278mg/100g$ me calcium $145.7\~238.7mg/100g$. Polyphenol content of green tea powder was $7.8\~9.3\%$ which was the highest in A and the lowest in B. Hunters color values of green tea, lightness(L) was $52.3\~69.6$, redness(a) was $0.11\~-5.61$, yellowness(b) was $14.23\~23.34$, which were better in green tea C and D than green tea A and B. From sensory evaluation of green tea powders, green tea D obtained the significant highest scores in color, flavor and overall quality(p<0.05) and followed by green tea C, Green tea powder C and D which have high levels of protein and ascorbic acid were evaluated as good quality in color and sensory evaluation.
Objectives: The aim of this study was to assess how nutrient intakes are related to risk factors for metabolic syndrome according to dietary patterns in the middle-aged adults. Methods: The subjects (n = 187; 47 men, 140 women) consisted of middle-aged adults over 30 years old in Ilsan area. The metabolic syndrome was diagnosed according to the data collected from each subject, including anthropometric measurements and blood analyses. The dietary patterns were derived from the average of two-day dietary intake data. Results: Factor analysis identified three major dietary patterns which were "Meats and alcohol", "Mixed grains, vegetables and fruits", and "Rice, Kimchi and fish & shellfish". The daily intakes of energy, protein, and sodium increased across quartiles of "Meats and alcohol" pattern scores (p < 0.05), whereas the intakes of carbohydrates, potassium, calcium, and fiber increased across quartiles of "Mixed grains, vegetables and fruits" pattern scores (p < 0.001). The "Meats and alcohol" pattern scores were positively correlated with protein and sodium intakes but inversely correlated with carbohydrates, fiber and potassium intakes which were adjusted for age, sex and energy (p < 0.05). The highest quartile pattern score of "Meats and alcohol" pattern had elevated odds ratio of abdominal obesity and metabolic syndrome (p < 0.05). The risk of hypertriglyceridemia decreased in the highest quartile of "Mixed grains, vegetables and fruits" pattern (OR 0.35, 95% CI 0.12-1.00). Conclusions: Our results suggested that reducing the consumption of meat and alcohol along with increasing fruits, vegetables and mixed grains would be helpful for preventing the metabolic syndrome and chronic diseases.
Defining soil quality in scopes and applications is one of the prerequisite for the sustainable management of soil environment to orient researches, strategies and policies. However, definition of soil quality is controversial depending upon a viewpoint of soil science or soil environment. Soil quality can be, irrespective of the disciplines, defined as the capacity of a soil to function within ecosystem boundaries to sustain biological productivity, maintain environmental quality and promote plant and animal health. Common to all of the soil quality concepts can be summarized as the capacity of soil to function effectively at present and in the future. The OECD includes soil quality as one of the agri-environment indicators. This article intends to i) summarize the current soil quality research, and ii) provide information on protocol of soil quality assessment. A framework for soil quality was divided into three steps: indicator selection as minimum data set (MDS), scoring of the selected indicators, and integration of scores into soil quality index. Korean government suggested possible physical and chemical indicators such as bulk density and organic matter for paddy and upland soils to OECD. The framework of soil quality assessment is not yet implemented in Korea. Countries such as USA, Canada and New Zealand have constructed the framework on soil quality assessment and developed a user-friendly version of soil quality assessment tools to evaluate the integrated effects of various soil management practices. The protocol provided in this review might help policymakers, scientists, and administrators improve awareness about soil quality and understand the way of soil environment management.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the health status of preschool children using the questionnaires about dietary behaviors and anthropometric indices. And also nutritional status was investigated using questionnaires for 24-hr recall method. The study was conducted in 145 children aged 3 to 6 years and questionnaires for dietary behaviors and dietary intakes were performed by mothers of children in Ulsan. Just nine percent of children were graded as good in terms of having healthy eating habits, this means that the nutrition education for the dietary behaviors should be more focused on preschool children. With regard to the frequency of food intake, children consumed green & yellow vegetables less frequently, meanwhile consumed high protein source food (meat, egg and bean) and milk and its product more frequently. Children almost never consumed fried foods as often as 1-2 times a weak. In assessment of the health status, children have the highest prevalence of colds and allergy, but lower prevalence of clinical symptoms due to the nutritional deficiency. The mean height was $103.6\;{\pm}\;6.4\;cm$ and significantly different among age (p < 0.05), but was not significantly different between sex. The mean weight was $17.8\;{\pm}\;3.0\;kg$ and significantly different in 5, 6years old among age. By the WLI criteria, 11.1% of children were underweight and 17.4% of children were overweight or obese. By the Rohrer index criteria, any children were not underweight and 86.8% of children were overweight or obese. By the Kaup index criteria, 2.8% of children were underweight and 29.2% of children were overweight or obese. And Obesity Index criteria, 2.1% of children were underweight and 20.8% of children were overweight or obese. The results of obesity rate by all criteria except Rohrer index indicated similar level, were significantly high in age 3 with all criteria, and decreased with age increased. The energy intake of children was lower than EER (Estimated Energy Requirements) of Dietary Reference Intakes for Koreans (KDRIs) by as much as 85.7%. Acceptable Macronutrient Distribution Ranges (AMDR) was 62.6:21.5:15.7 as carbohydrate:protein:lipid, so children consumed protein more, but consumed lipid less compared with those of KDRIs. Vitamin A intake was 133% of recommended intakes (RI) and calcium intake which was identified as the nutrient most likely to be lacking in diets was 98.9% of RI. The intakes of all minerals and vitamins except folate were higher than KDRIs. 33.3% of children were distributed in insufficiency of energy intake, 42.7% of children were distributed in insufficiency of lipid intake. These results indicate that the need of developing of nutrition education program and further concern of a public health center, university and children care center about dietary life for preschool children.
The purpose of this study was to investigated the effect of the addition of the fruit and powder (0, 5, 10, 15, 20%) from the fruit of paper mulberry (Broussonetia kazinoki Siebold) on the tenderness and palatability of Jangchorim. When up to 20% of the fruit of paper mulberry contributes to 6.2∼7.0% decreasing rate in shear force while its powder, a 10.2∼18.4% reduction rate. And according to the increasing of fruits of paper mulberry added, regardless of its types, cooking loss was somewhat decreased, redness of surface of cooked beef and free amino acid content extractes in the liquid part of Jangchorim was generally increased. Na, K, P, Ca, and Mg was so forth in quantity order. In sensory characteristics, the 15% fruit of paper mulberry additive group and the 10% additive group in the its powder type showed the most favorable response.
Research was initiated to investigate the effect of high water-absorbing polymer on turf grass quality of three major turfgrasses. A total of 12 treatment combinations were used in the study. Treatments were made with different rates of sand, soil organic amendment (SOA), and water-swelling polymer (WSP). Visual turf grass quality was evaluated in creeping bentgrass (Agrostis palustris Huds., CB), Kentucky bluegrass (Poa pratensis L., KB), and zoysiagrass (Zoysia japonica Steud., Zoy) grown under greenhouse conditions. Significant differences were observed among the treatments in CB, KB, and Zoy. Visual quality ratings varied with mixing rates of SOA and WSP, being maximum 5.6 in differences among them. At the end of study it ranged from 0.3 to 9.6 in CB, 0.3 to 4.0 in KB, and 0.9 to 5.8 in Zoy. Turfgrass quality pattern changed with time after seeding among treatments influenced by WSP rates. From this study, a proper rate of WSP is considered to be 5%, 5~10%, and 5% for CB, KB and Zoy, respectively. In general, overall treatment effect of WSP on turfgrass quality was highly associated with SOA 20% in three turtgrass species. When mixing sand with SOA and WSP for rootzone soil, a proper rate of SOA is considered to be 15 to 20% for CB and KB, while 20% for Zoy of warm-season grass. A further study would be required to investigate the effect of varied, gradual mixing rates of WSP on growth characteristics of turfgrasses grown on mixtures of sand, SOA, and WSP before a field application.
To investigate the effect of a solar salt on Kimchi fermentation, Chinese cabbages were brined with four-years aged solar salt (FS), one-year aged solar salt (OS), and purified salt (PS). The Kimchi was fermented at $7^{\circ}C$ for 33 days. The changes in pH and acidity of the Kimch brined with PS was slower than those of Kimchis brined with FS and OS. In the Kimchis with FS and OS, lactic acid bacteria (LAB) counts increased from 7.10~7.22 log CFU/mL at 0 day to 9.26~9.42 log CFU/mL at 12 days, after which counts slightly decreased to 8.04~8.75 log CFU/mL by 33 days of fermentation. The LAB counts of the kimchi with PS slowly increased from 7.24 log CFU/mL at 0 day to 8.99 log CFU/mL at 27 days, after then which counts sharply decreased to 7.92 log CFU/mL by 33 days of fermentation. Yellowness (b) color values of the kimchi with PS (59.10) was higher than the Kimchi with FS (53.68) and the Kimchi with OS (53.77). Hardness of the Kimchi with FS was more firm than the other Kimchis after 33 days storage. Sensory evaluation of the Kimchi with FS showed higher score than that of the other Kimchis.
