The purpose of this study was to analyzed body movement of the right and left directions relative to stance width. Seven college students(male, height $174.9{\pm}4.8cm$, weight $70.9{\pm}6.6kg$) participated in this study. For the purpose of this study, nine high-speed cameras and two force plates was utilized. Stance width was limited into small stance width(mean 42.9cm) and large stance width(mean 65cm). The results showed that (1) the small stance width took shorter time than the large stance during landing of the right feet to toe-off; (2) the small stance width was took longer movement of the right feet after split step comparing to the large stance; (3)there was no significant difference in the speed of center of gravity between toe-off and maximum speed; (4) the small stance width was greater angles to hip joint and knee joint during toe-off of the right feet comparing to the large stance; (5) the was no significant difference in values for force plates between the small stance and the large stance width during toe-off of the right feet.
This paper proposes a new double-talk detection algorithm which is based on the fuzzy rules, in the adaptive echo canceller of telecommunication system. In this method, the two inputs of the fuzzy inference for detecting double-talk condition are used. One is the cross-correlation coefficient between the error signal and the primary signal which is the summation of the real echo signal and the near-end signal. The other one is the cross-correlation coefficient between the estimation error signal and the primary signal. The fuzzy controller makes a fuzzification for two inputs by the membership functions of trapezoid does the max-min composition using if-then rules. The composed result is defuzzificated by the center gravity method. And by defuzzificated values, the double-talt the echo path variance, and the echo path variance during the double-talk are detected. It is confirmed by computer simulation that this fuzzy double-talk detector is able to estimate the double talk and the echo path variation condition, and even track echo path variation more accurately than the conventional algorithm during the double-talk period.
The objective of this paper is to develop the motion recognition method for the rehabilitation program of the people with physical disabilities. Using the infrared ray LED, this method gets the information of the user's motion and tells the difference between the information we get and the pre-defined information. In order to get the fast recognition and comparison, this method positions the specific coordinates of infrared ray LED in the pre-classified sector which keeps certain distance and angle from the point of origin. The result in our experiment shows the speed over 20 frames per second in every motion, and we are satisfied the rate for the recognition of the motions which is near 98%.

Balance is the foundation for all active daily livings. Evaluation of balance has been conducted to measure postural sway of center of pressure(COP). The purpose of this study is to introduce the Balancia and to examine the validity and inter-, intra-reliability for measure of balance with stroke patients. COP was measured by Wii balance board. The subjects Participated in this study were 39 stroke patients. Intra- and inter-reliability was examined using intraclass correlation coefficient(ICC) with 95% confidence interval. In the result of intra- and inter-reliability, all COP parameters of postural sway showed high to very high reliability with ICC=.793-.939 and ICC=.791-.955. Validity was determined by correlation with Accusway force plate. There were high validity with ICC=.851-.955 between tools. According to these results, the Balancia showed high validity and reliability. It is a useful clinical tool for evaluating balance in stroke patients.

A wheeled armored vehicle is a military vehicle that has been developed to enhance combat capabilities and mobility for the army. The wheeled armored vehicle has a high center of gravity, and it operates on unpaved and sloped roads. Therefore, this vehicle has a high risk of rollover crashes. To design the interior of the military vehicle, the crew's safety during rollover crashes is an important factor. However, actual vehicle tests for design are extremely expensive. In this paper, nonlinear dynamic analysis is performed to simulate the rollover crashes and the passenger injury is assessed for a wheeled armored vehicle. The scope of this research is the rollover condition, FE modeling of the wheeled armored vehicle and the dummy, arrangement of dummies, assessment of passenger injuries, and simulation model for rollover crashes.

In this paper, elliptic function bandpass filters using ceramic coaxial resonators are designed. Since elliptic function filters have better performance of frequency selectivity than those based on Butterworth or Chebyshev, therefore it is possible to make better use of limited frequency resources. Elliptic function bandpass filters using ceramic coaxial resonators are designed for reducing it's size, weight, cost and for easy manufacturing and tuning. From measurements, an accurate resonator model is obtained and the coupling coefficient values are extracted. Based on these results, elliptic function bandpass filters are designed. The experimental results have shown that the 8th order elliptic function filter of 959 MHz center frequency with 28 MHz bandwidth using coaxial ceramic resonators have about more tan 17 dB return loss, 5 dB insertion loss, more than 20 dB attenuation at $f_c\pm$5 MHz.
In this study, the load analysis of a composite canard aircraft is performed numerically. Excel
visual basic program for PC is used to calculate aerodynamic coefficients, loads and moments
etc.. The basic data required for the load analysis such as aircraft configuration and dimension,
parts and its weight and coordinate etc. are obtained from Catia modeling, measurement or
material density. Aircraft weight, center of gravity, inertia moment, structural design speeds, wing
load distribution, forces and moments are evaluated by using these data. V-n diagram is also
represented for selecting critical loads applied to the wing and fuselage. The V-n diagram is
investigated to decide the flight envelope of canard aircraft for design speed VA, VC, VD and
load factor +3.8G, -1.52G at maximum weight of 2,573 lbs and sea level.
In the future, the results of the wing and fuselage load analysis is to represented by using
selected critical loads.

In this paper, we propose two algorithm for improving the performance of wireless localization(Trilateration and Least Square) based on the range based approach method in indoor environment using RSSI for ranging distance. we propose a method to discriminate the case that has relatively large estimation errors in trilateration using Heron''s formula for the volume of a tetrahedron. And we propose the algorithm to process the discriminated types of distance using the absolute value calculated by Heron''s formula. In addition, we propose another algorithm for the case of which the number of anchor nodes larger than three. In this case, Residual Weighting Factor(RWGH) improves the performance of Least Square. However, RWGH requires many number of calculations. In this paper, we propose Iterative Weighted Centroid Algorithm(IWCA) that has better performance and less calculation than RWGH. We show the improvement of performance for two algorithms and the combination of these algorithm by using simulation results.
Lab scale experiments to investigate the dissolution reaction among supercritical $CO_2$-sandstone-groundwater by using sandstones from Gyeongsang basin were performed. High pressurized cell system (100 bar and $50^{\circ}C$) was designed to create supercritical $CO_2$ in the cell, simulating the sub-surface $CO_2$ storage site. The first-order dissolution coefficient ($k_d$) of the sandstone was calculated by measuring the change of the weight of thin section or the concentration of ions dissolved in groundwater at the reaction time intervals. For 30 days of the supercritical $CO_2$-sandstone-groundwater reaction, physical properties of sandstone cores in Gyeongsang basin were measured to investigate the effect of supercritical $CO_2$ on the sandstone. The weight change of sandstone cores was also measured to calculate the dissolution coefficient and the dissolution time of 1 g per unit area (1 $cm^2$) of each sandstone was quantitatively predicted. For the experiment using thin sections, mass of $Ca^{2+}$ and $Na^+$ dissolved in groundwater increased, suggesting that plagioclase and calcite of the sandstone would be significantly dissolved when it contacts with supercritical $CO_2$ and groundwater at $CO_2$ sequestration sites. 0.66% of the original thin sec-tion mass for the sandstone were dissolved after 30 days reaction. The average porosity for C sandstones was 8.183% and it increased to 8.789% after 30 days of the reaction. The average dry density, seismic velocity, and 1-D compression strength of sandstones decreased and these results were dependent on the porosity increase by the dissolution during the reaction. By using the first-order dissolution coefficient, the average time to dissolve 1 g of B and C sandstones per unit area (1 $cm^2$) was calculated as 1,532 years and 329 years, respectively. From results, it was investigated that the physical property change of sandstones at Gyeongsang basin would rapidly occur when the supercritical $CO_2$ was injected into $CO_2$ sequestration sites.

The present study was designed to examine the effect of dietary fish oil on blood pressure and lipid status of serum. Weanling SHRs and normotensive Wistars were fed a diet containing 5%(w/w) mackerel oil(MO), soybean oil(SO) or beef tallow(BT) for 8 weeks. Growth rate was not significantly different among three dietary groups, but that of SHRs was silightly lower than that of Wistars. SHRs showed higher systolic blood pressure than Wistar rats from the beginning and become hypertensive (over 150mmHg) after 6 week s of feeding period. The MO group of SHRs showed the lowest blood pressure at the 8th week of feeding period but that of Wistars showed similar values with other groups. Tissue weights of liver, heart and kidney were not different amongdietary aroups in Wistars and SHRs. However, heart and kidney weights of SHRs were significantly higher than those of Wistars. Microscopic examination revealed that endomysium of heart tissue and urinary space of kidney were narrowed in SHRs. Serum total and HDL-cholesterol showed similar values among three different dietary fat groups but triglyceride levels were significantly low in MO groups. HDL-cholesterol levels of SHRs were lower than those of Wistars, as well as the fractions of total HDL, the sum of HDL and $HDL_{2+3}$, while VLDL fractions were higher in SHRs. MO groups had the lower values of $HDL_1,\;HDL_{2+3}$ratio than SO and BT groups. Major dietary fatty acids were more or less incorporated into serum phospholipid and triglyceride, resulting in the characteristic fatty acid profile of each dietary group. Incorporation of $C_{18:2}({\omega}_6)$ in SO groups were pronounced, but the degree of incorporation was lower in SHRs. In Mo groups, $C_{22:6}({\omega}_3)$ levels were inreased in triglyceride. It is suggested that these changes in serum lipid fatty acid composition are related to the different patterns of serum lipid by alteration of dietary fats.
