This study attempts feasibility analysis of cataloging outsourcing. The economic analysis model based on information economics categorizes the benefit into direct benefit and value linking. We measure direct benefit by cost savings and cost avoidance, value linking by the degree of improvement in cataloging quality The results show that there is no feasibility overall, because librarians spent more time to control the quality due to vendor's lack of professionalism, resulting little effect on cost savings. When cataloging outsourcing is forcibly used under the economically infeasible condition, it is impossible to achieve the basic purpose of operating cost savings and improvement of service function.

This study was for suggesting the test methods in the revision process of the cataloging rules to understand the problem of draft cataloging rules and to apply the new cataloging rules correctly in libraries instead of collecting the opinions by the traditional seminar and conference in the process of revising KCR, KCR2, KCR3, KCR4. For this study, the literature review and the case study were used as the research methods. The case study was based on the US RDA Test by US RDA Test Coordinating Committee. The evaluation areas of the test were cataloging rules, record creation and system development by reflecting the new cataloging rules, user, and cost. The data for the analysis was the creation of bibliographic records and authority records by librarians, and the question investigations that were the use of institutions, librarians, and users. This study would contribute to revise the cataloging rules in future by analyzing the errors of applying new rules to bibliographic record and by investigating the difficulties of applying rules in completing the bibliographic record. Also, the libraries could be easy to decide to implement the new rules from the creation time of bibliographic record by new rules and the learning curve of new rules.

The purpose of this study is to examine the service of Web OPACs in public libraries. Thirty-eight public libraries are grouped into eight class by the type of system and user interface. The Libraries in the eight class of them are analyzed by five characteristics. The result of this study shows that both functions and interface design of the Web OPACs in public library need to be improved for them.

우리가 흔희 친구목록이라고 부르는 버디 리스트는 사용자가 온라인 상태에 있는지, 통신이 가능한지를 확인해주는 기능으로 야후, AOL, 마이크로소프트와 같은 서비스업자들이 제공하는 인스턴트 메시징 서비스의 부가 기능으로서 잘 알려져 있다. 그러나 사용자의 온라인/오프라인 상태, 통신 가능 여부 등에 대한 정보를 실시간으로 확인케 해주는 presence기능이 결코 인스턴트 메시징 만의 전유물은 아니다는 점을 간과해서는 안될 것 같다.

K-EMS(한국형에너지관리시스템)용 상정고장해석(Contingency Analysis) 프로그램에 대해 설명한다. 상정고장해석 프로그램은 가상의 고장에 따른 계통의 상태변화 판정 기능과 심각한 상정고장 목록을 선별하는 기능, 그리고 선별된 고장목록의 완전해석 기능으로 구성된다. 본 논문에서는 그간의 연구에서 개발된 고장에 따른 계통의 상태변화를 판정하는 방법을 설명하며, 그러한 방법에 적용한 사례연구결과와 개발 프로그램의 성능을 기술한다.

태블릿 PC의 등장, 미디어 기기의 소형화, 스마트 폰의 등장과 맞물려 기존의 동영상 및 음성을 통한 교육 콘텐츠시장이 크게 확대되어 가고 있다. 특히 어학 콘텐츠의 경우 구간 반복을 통한 내용 전달이 필수적이어서 많은 미디어 플레이어는 사용자가 직접 설정한 구간을 반복 시청할 수 있도록 하는 기능을 포함하고 있다. 본 논문은 기존의 구간 반복 기능에서 한 단계 나아가 사용자의 수동 조작없이 미디어 플레이어가 자동적으로 문장을 감지하여 해당 문장을 반복하는 Player chop를 소개한다. Player chop 는 영상 파일에서 추출된 모든 문장의 시작과 종료 지점에 대한 시간 정보를 목록화 하여 손쉽게 반복 재생이 가능하도록 하였으며, 목록화 된 시간 정보를 바탕으로 자막을 연동하여 사용자의 외국어 학습에 도움이 될 수 있도록 하였다.

In this study, the present condition of 8 Open APIs for books, such as Naver, Daum, Aladdin, Amazon, Google, KERIS, LibraryThing, and OCLC, were compared and analyzed. In addition, the bibliographic records of 167 samples of visible 'light & paraphotic' (DDC 535) classifications were selected from the bibliographic records of the library of C university, and the effectiveness of the Open APIs were compared and analyzed. On the basis of the results of this analysis, 12 Open API application models, which were judged to be useful in expanding the function of the access point of the bibliographic records and enhancing the library catalog using Open API, were experimentally implemented. Various methods of augmenting access points of bibliographic records and expanded library catalogue were investigated using the unique identifier described in the KORMARC fields of 001, 010, 012, 020, 035, 246, 505, 520, 850, 856 for the integrated format for bibliographic data, and Open API. Finally, using Open API for the brief display and detailed display screen as a result of search of the OPAC of the sample bibliographic records, the devices for the expanding library catalog were implemented as examples.

This study proposes a 'Bibliographic Universe Relationship Vocabulary'(burv) using the RDF/OWL Object Property under the SPO predicate logic according to the relationship type among all entities of bibliographic universe and implemented a 'relationship ontology system' to establish a new cataloging business domain called 'Relationship Description Cataloging' based on the ontology.

임상 결과의 측정에서 새로운 관점을 갖는 것은 중요하다. 의료 재활은 심리적 측정의 질들(표준화, 신뢰도, 타당도)에서 충분한 노력에 수행되어지지 않아 왔기 때문에 환자와 프로그램 사이에 일반화된 기능적인 평가 범위가 부족하다. 장애의 적절한 측정을 위한 요구는 기능적인 상태에서 변화들을 알리고 치료의 필요성을 평가하고 치료를 계획하고 결과를 예측하고 보상 방법을 측정하기 위한 환자의 치료와 임상 연구에서 모두 나타난다. 세계적으로 사용되어지고 있는 기능 평가 도구인 FIM으로부터 이 연구는 신체적 측정의 기대되어진 것에 유사한 비율로 기능적 평가 측정들을 구성한다. 노인 재활에서 기능적인 결과의 측정은 중요한 몇 가지 점이 있다. 첫째는 접근에 기초한 기능적인 결과는 치료 목표 설정에 필요하다. 둘째는 도구는 기능적인 향상을 예상하는데 유용해야 한다. 셋째는 기능 평가는 적절한 타당도와 신뢰도와 함께 고려되어져야만 한다. 넷째는 다른 기능적 도구들이 함께 평가되어져야 할 필요가 있다는 것이다. FIM의 목록의 어려운 접들은 손상을 입은 집단에서는 다소 다양하다. 가장 중요한 부분이기 때문에 하나의 운동범위는 요통과 화상을 입은 환자를 제외한 모든 손상을 입은 집단들에게 적용되어 질 수 있다. 기능의 운동과 인지적인 면은 구분되어지는 것이 중요하였고 분리되어져서 치료되어 졌다. 어려운 목록들은 손상을 입은 집단에서 다양하였고, 다양한 손상의 종류의 독특한 영향을 반영하였다. FIM은 기능적인 장애를 측정하기 위해 고안되어진 또 다른 도구이다. 그리고 다른 것들은 의료 재활을 위한 국제적 자료 체계를 만들기 위한 것이다. FIM의 목적은 의료 재활의 결과를 확인하고 장애의 정도의 측정을 포함한다. FIM은 7가지 수준에서 사회적 인지, 의사 소통, 이동, 움직임 (mobility), 소변 관리, 자조 활동을 평가한다. 범위는 총체적 도움의 비율로부터 완전하게 독립적인 것까지의 범위이고 도움, 감독, 도구의 사용의 범위를 고려한다. 27,009의 환자를 조사한 최근 검사 기록들은 FIM이 움직임(motor)과 인지 기능을 평가하는 것이라는 것을 보여준다(Hinemann, 1993). FIM의 저자들은 자료가 프로그램 평가의 시도에서 즉각적으로 적용 할 수 있기를 기대한다. FSI은 어떤 과제의 수행에서 어려움에 관계된 정보를 제공하는 것을 나타내고 과제를 수행하기 위한 환자를 위한 변경된 전략들을 발달시키기 위해 노력하는 임상가들에게 유용할 수 있다. 두 도구 모두는 전통적인 범위들보다 고관절 골절을 동반한 장애의 좀더 정확한 정보를 모으도록 할 수 있다. 고찰된 모든 연구의 결과들은 골절 후에 남아 있는 잔여 장애의 중요한 수준을 강조한다. 골절 전의 보행으로 회복된 사람은 매우 드물었다. 대부분은 기본적인 움직임 혹은 옷입기, 개인 위생에 관계된 활동들에서 의존적이었다. 많은 사람들은 사회에서 활동을 할 수 없었다. 장애의 적절한 측정의 요구는 환자 치료와 기능적인 상태에서 변화를 알고 치료의 요구도를 측정하고 치료를 계획하고 결과를 예상하고 보상 수단을 결정하는 임상적 연구에서 모두 나타난다. 물리치료 분야는 분야의 다른 영역에서 기능적인 결과를 충족시키고 발달시키는 것이 필요하다.

일반적으로 정보검색의 표준화된 통신규약인 Z39.50 프로토콜을 이용한 시스템에서는 도서, 논문 등 서지 목록에 대한 정보만을 검색할 수 있다. 이에 따라 본 논문에서는 서지 정보 목록뿐만 아니라 이미지, 비디오(video)등 비 도서에 관한 정보를 효율적으로 검색하기 위해서 검색 대상에 필요한 속성 집합(Attribute Set)을 Z39.50 표준에 등록된 속성집합 Bib-1의 속성유형(Type)과 값(Value)을 기본으로 이미지, 비디오 자료를 제공하기 위한 속성 요소를 새롭게 추가하여 종합 정보 검색 서비스 기능을 수행토록 하였다.
