  • This paper describes the system integration laboratory's requirement analysis, implementation, and verification for multiple-scenario unmanned aerial vehicle operation and control technology using a manned rotorcraft for Manned-Unmanned Teaming. System integration laboratory consists of manned rotorcraft flight simulation, unmanned aerial vehicle flight and mission equipment simulation, ground control system simulation for unmanned aerial vehicle control and change in the control authority between the ground control system and manned rotorcraft, and operation and control system for mission plan's writing and transmission. Each implemented simulation verified the requirements through software and hardware integration test.

  • 군용장비를 시험하고 훈련하는데 사용되는 모의 소프트웨어는 체계마다, 장비마다 새로이 개발된다. 따라서 모의 소프트웨어를 설계, 개발하는 시간이 길어지고 관리 비용도 늘어난다. 이러한 비용을 줄이고자 본 논문에서는 모의 소프트웨어 개발을 위한 어플리케이션 프레임워크를 제안한다. 먼저 모의 소프트웨어가 공통으로 설계될 수 있는 부분을 추출하고, 이를 어플리케이션 프레임워크에서 미리 만들어진 형태로 제공한다. 여기서 추출한 공통 설계 구조는 다른 장비와의 연동을 위해 메시지를 주고 받는 인터페이스를 구현하는 부분이다. 이 인터페이스를 일관성 있게 개발하기 위하여 코드 생성 프로그램의 형태로 어플리케이션 프레임워크를 설계하였다. 설계된 어플리케이션 프레임워크는 일관된 개발 환경을 제공하여 모의 소프트웨어 개발 시, 설계 및 개발 시간을 줄이고 관리비용을 줄일 것으로 기대된다.

  • A UAV(Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) flies along pre-programed navigation points(in-flight, take-off, or landing) automatically without pilot input. Even though UAVs fly differently from general piloted aircraft as the pilot controls the aircraft from a ground station through means of a data-link system. Occasionally, the data-link connection can be lost for any number of reasons, in which case, the FLCC(Flight control Computer) must automatically switch to autopilot to continue flying. Hence, the FLCC is a flight-critical component that must be throughly tested and validated. This paper discusses the development of a HILS(Hardware in the Loop Simulation) test environment designed to simulate real flight conditions to verify the FLCC satisfies flying quality requirements and maintains robustness despite any potential malfunctions or emergency situations.

  • 안정적인 전력공급을 위해 전력설비 진단이 중요시 되고 있고 이를 위해 변전기기인 변압기의 초기고장 검출을 통한 예방진단 기술을 필요로 하고 있다. 변압기 예방진단 기술 중에서도 유중가스진단은 가장 오래되고 신뢰성이 입증된 기술이다. 기존의 유중가스진단법들은 가스비분석법을 이용하고 있는데 대상 가스들이 절연유에의 열화에 의해 발생하는 가스들이고 주위 운전환경에 대한 고려가 부족하여 진단이 불가능하거나 진단오류가 발생한다. 본 연구에서는 절연유뿐만 아니라 고체절연물에 대한 열화를 고려하기 위하여 변압기 내부 결함 모의 시험 쳄버를 제작하고 시험 결과를 바탕으로 진단 알고리즘을 개발하고자 한다.

  • In this paper, for the purpose of improving the future domestic train control systems and securing interoperability according to the global development trends of train control systems, we present the test results of interoperability between wayside train control system installed in existed line, and the onboard train control system. Due to the safety-critical characteristics of train systems, the site test in the section where the wayside equipment is installed, leads to a danger against safety. Therefore, by way of constructing a simulation environment of train control systems, we confirm the T/R data systems of the equipment for interoperability and test the interoperability by applying these systems to onboard equipment.

  • 국내 가압 경수형 원자력 발전소 주제이실의 바닥에 가장 적합한 화재 감지기 선정을 위하여 원전 심사, 검사시 적용한 국내·외 화재감지기 설계 및 설치에 관한 법규와 규제요건의 종합적인 검토를 수행하고 원전의 주제이실 바닥 환경을 최대로 모의한 시험장치를 이용하여 선형열감지기와 공기 표본 추출형 연기감지기의 동작 성능을 비교 시험하였다. 시험 결과 케이블 화재시 공기 표본 추출형 연기감지기가 감도 및 응답특성이 정온식 선형 감지기 보다 우수한 것으로 확인되었다.

  • The importance of networks is gradually expanding in the battlefield environment. As time goes by, the types of tactical data links used in the Korean JTDLS are increasing, and the military's weapon systems equipped with tactical data link systems are increasing. Thorough quality verification is required to provide stable software to the wider battlefield. This study examines how to prepare an environment in which various simulation tests to verify the stability of the Korean JTDLS project can be conducted as diverse as possible using minimal physical space and Hardware resources. Through this, it is possible to improve the completeness of the project and secure the stability of the program, and it is intended to contribute to securing higher stability and reliability by securing maximum test capabilities in a limited test environment even in Linux based system project of a similar environment.

  • Testing a radar system in real environment requires a lot of time and cost. Thus various target simulators are developed to evaluate the radar performance and its functions as well. In order to enhance the range resolution and the accuracy for tracking, recent radar system tends to use the wideband signal. In this paper, we summarize two target simulation methods - the direct sampling method with the digital memories and the beat frequency generation for the stretch processing - and suggest the condition to improve their performance for a wideband radar system.

  • This paper proposes the environment construction and test method of system integration laboratory (SIL) and system integration test (SIT) for verification of interface between onboard equipment and ground control equipment of unmanned aerial systems (UAS). This research also describes the interface environment between subsystems built in SIL and verification methods for the systems' operation logic through simulated flights. Similarly, the paper handles the ground integration test process of UAS in the real testing environments.

  • In this paper, we investigate the realistic environment influence on the Hearing-Aid Compatibility(HAC) of the body-held device mock-up with a dual-band antenna. In detail, first, a dual-band internal antenna is designed considering the neighboring objects essential to a real attachable mobile device. This comes to reality by making its mock-up version. Second, the HAC of this device is simulated and measured for 'stand alone', and 'hand-held' cases. Particularly, the electromagnetic simulation of the designed antenna in the real device is verified by the standard measurement. Finally, the evaluated HAC is analyzed in terms of the relations with the bands, the mock-up environment and the hand effect.
