Motion Profile Generation Method for Absolute Angular Error Control Mode of Gun/Turret Driving System (포/포탑 구동 시스템의 절대 각 오차 제어 모드에 대한 모션 프로파일 생성 기법)

  • In this paper, we will discuss the absolute angular error control mode for the Gun/Turret driving system. The Gun/Turret driving controller receives absolute angular error calculated from the fire control system (FCS). Thus, the Gun/Turret driving controller is subjected to step command to cause residual vibration and system unstable. In order to reduce residual vibration and to ensure the system stability, we propose an error motion profile method with two types of trapezoidal and S-Curve. The validity of the proposed error motion profile method is confirmed via simulation by observing that the resulting position error, driving power, and power density satisfied the control performance.

  • 본 논문에서는 저성능 컴퓨터나 스마트폰의 카메라를 통해 입력받은 영상을 기반으로 사용자의 포즈를 추정하고, 실시간으로 사용자의 포즈에 따라 3D 모델의 모션이 제어되어 가시화 될 수 있는 클라이어트-서버 구조의 "자세추정 및 3D 모델 모션 제어 시스템"을 제안한다. 제안 시스템은 소켓통신 기반의 클라이언트-서버구조로 구성되어, 서버에서는 실시간 자세 추정을 위한 딥러닝 모델이 수행되고, 저성능 클라이언트에서는 실시간으로 카메라 영상을 획득하여 영상을 서버에 전송하고, 서버로부터 자세 추정 정보를 받아 이를 3D 모델에 반영하고 렌더링 함으로써 사용자와 함께 3D 모델이 같은 동작을 수행하는 증강현실 화면을 생성한다. 고성능을 요구하는 객체 자세 추정 모듈은 서버에서 실행하고, 클라이언트에서는 영상 획득 및 렌더링만을 실행하기 때문에, 모바일 앱에서의 실시간 증강현실을 위한 자세 추정 및 3D 모델 모션 제어가 가능하다. 제안 시스템은 "증강현실 기반 영상 찍기 앱" 에 반영되어 사용자의 움직임을 따라하는 3D 캐릭터들의 영상을 쉽게 생성할 수 있도록 할 수 있다.

  • 영상처리시스템은 대량의 데이터를 고속으로 처리해야하기 때문에 고성능의 프로세서를 요구한다. 카메라의 성능은 점차 해상도가 높아져서 데이터가 많아지고 있는 반면 프로세서의 성능은 물리적인 한계로 인해서 단일 프로세서로는 속도 향상에 한계에 부딪히고 있다. 최근 CPU업계에서의 추세는 단일코어의 성능향상 한계로 인해 점차 코어의 개수를 늘리는 방v향으로 개발이 진행되고 있는데 이와 같이 병렬 프로세싱을 이용해서 영상처리시스템을 개발하는 연구가 최근 진행되고 있다. 병렬처리프로세싱 방법의 하나로 그래픽카드의 프로세서인 GPU를 사용하는 방법이 많이 시도되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 GPU를 이용하여 카메라의 모션을 추적하는 시스템을 실시간 시스템으로 개발하는 방법을 소개하고자 한다.

  • Increasing of depth data accessibility, depth data is used in many researches. Motion recognition of computer vision also widely use depth image. More accuracy motion recognition system needs more stable depth data. But depth sensor has a noise. This noise affect accuracy of the motion recognition system, we should noise suppression. In this paper, we propose using spatial domain and temporal domain stabilization for depth image and makes it hardware IP. We adapted our hardware to floor removing algorithm and verification its effect. we did realtime verification using FPGA and APU. Designed hardware has maximum frequency 202.184MHz.

  • 본 논문에서는 하지 편마비 환자의 편마비 정도를 측정하여 사용하지 않으려고 하는 근육을 강제적으로 사용하도록 하여 하지를 재활할 수 있도록 훈련하는 시스템을 제안한다. 제안하는 시스템은 체중 부하 및 하지 슬관절의 움직임을 측정하여, 이를 통해 환자가 자신의 편마비 정도를 인식할 수 있도록 화면에 출력함으로써 환자가 피드백을 통해 강제적으로 편마비 하지를 사용 하도록 훈련 시킬 수 있다. 하지 슬관절(Knee Joint)의 움직임은 기존의 방법과는 달리 적외선 필터를 장착한 단일 카메라를 통한 모션 캡쳐 기술을 사용하여 획득한다. 또한, 재활 시스템에 가상현실 기술을 도입하여 무릎을 동시에 굽혔다가 펴는 기립훈련과 양측 하지를 이용한 보행훈련을 입력으로 가상공간을 탐험할 수 있게 함으로써 환자가 흥미롭게 재활훈련을 받을 수 있도록 하였다.

  • 최근 인터넷 기술의 발달로 인한 실시간 인터넷 동영상 서비스 등 인터넷을 이용한 방송사업이 활성화되어지고 이에 부가적으로 애니메이션이 감각적 서비스를 지원하고 있는 실정이나 고가의 모션캡쳐 시스템을 통한 캡쳐된 좌표를 적절한 보정을 한 후에 캐릭터를 움직이는 방법으로 이루어지고 있다. 이러한 모션캡쳐 시스템을 통한다면 시스템 및 장비 자체가 고가이고 또한 실시간으로 처리하기 위하여는 좌표값 보정 등이 필요하지만 본 논문에서 제안하는 좌표 추출 및 추적 기법을 이용하여 저가의 가정용 멀티미디어 오버레이 캡쳐보드와 CCD 카메라를 통하여 영상을 캡쳐하고 캡쳐된 영상좌표와 실험용 GDI object를 링크시켜 실시간으로 사람의 입술의 움직임 모양대로 애니메이션이 립싱크되어서 움직여지는 것을 볼 수 있으며, 더 나아가서 외화의 우리말 더빙시 영상처리를 통한 정교한 화면 더빙 및 가상 캐릭터를 이용한 사이버 미팅가지 가능할 것이다.

  • VR content manipulation equipment is not easy for individuals to access because it requires high prices. Especially, in the case of a system for tracking the motion of the user among the VR contents, a separate optical sensor device using an infrared camera is generally used. The disadvantage of the optical sensor equipment is that the measurable range is dependent on the measurement direction when tracking the rotation motion when using only a single device. In order to solve the above problems, this paper shows that the inertial sensor of the smartphone, which is generally owned by the public, can track the rotational motion of the user regardless of the measurement direction . The system using the LeapMotion is used as the reference system, and the system using the smart phone is defined as the evaluation system, and the usability of the evaluation system is verified by comparing the user satisfaction of the two systems.

Case Analysis of the Promotion Methodologies in the Smart Exhibition Environment (스마트 전시 환경에서 프로모션 적용 사례 및 분석)

  • In the development of technologies, the exhibition industry has received much attention from governments and companies as an important way of marketing activities. Also, the exhibitors have considered the exhibition as new channels of marketing activities. However, the growing size of exhibitions for net square feet and the number of visitors naturally creates the competitive environment for them. Therefore, to make use of the effective marketing tools in these environments, they have planned and implemented many promotion technics. Especially, through smart environment which makes them provide real-time information for visitors, they can implement various kinds of promotion. However, promotions ignoring visitors' various needs and preferences can lose the original purposes and functions of them. That is, as indiscriminate promotions make visitors feel like spam, they can't achieve their purposes. Therefore, they need an approach using STP strategy which segments visitors through right evidences (Segmentation), selects the target visitors (Targeting), and give proper services to them (Positioning). For using STP Strategy in the smart exhibition environment, we consider these characteristics of it. First, an exhibition is defined as market events of a specific duration, which are held at intervals. According to this, exhibitors who plan some promotions should different events and promotions in each exhibition. Therefore, when they adopt traditional STP strategies, a system can provide services using insufficient information and of existing visitors, and should guarantee the performance of it. Second, to segment automatically, cluster analysis which is generally used as data mining technology can be adopted. In the smart exhibition environment, information of visitors can be acquired in real-time. At the same time, services using this information should be also provided in real-time. However, many clustering algorithms have scalability problem which they hardly work on a large database and require for domain knowledge to determine input parameters. Therefore, through selecting a suitable methodology and fitting, it should provide real-time services. Finally, it is needed to make use of data in the smart exhibition environment. As there are useful data such as booth visit records and participation records for events, the STP strategy for the smart exhibition is based on not only demographical segmentation but also behavioral segmentation. Therefore, in this study, we analyze a case of the promotion methodology which exhibitors can provide a differentiated service to segmented visitors in the smart exhibition environment. First, considering characteristics of the smart exhibition environment, we draw evidences of segmentation and fit the clustering methodology for providing real-time services. There are many studies for classify visitors, but we adopt a segmentation methodology based on visitors' behavioral traits. Through the direct observation, Veron and Levasseur classify visitors into four groups to liken visitors' traits to animals (Butterfly, fish, grasshopper, and ant). Especially, because variables of their classification like the number of visits and the average time of a visit can estimate in the smart exhibition environment, it can provide theoretical and practical background for our system. Next, we construct a pilot system which automatically selects suitable visitors along the objectives of promotions and instantly provide promotion messages to them. That is, based on the segmentation of our methodology, our system automatically selects suitable visitors along the characteristics of promotions. We adopt this system to real exhibition environment, and analyze data from results of adaptation. As a result, as we classify visitors into four types through their behavioral pattern in the exhibition, we provide some insights for researchers who build the smart exhibition environment and can gain promotion strategies fitting each cluster. First, visitors of ANT type show high response rate for promotion messages except experience promotion. So they are fascinated by actual profits in exhibition area, and dislike promotions requiring a long time. Contrastively, visitors of GRASSHOPPER type show high response rate only for experience promotion. Second, visitors of FISH type appear favors to coupon and contents promotions. That is, although they don't look in detail, they prefer to obtain further information such as brochure. Especially, exhibitors that want to give much information for limited time should give attention to visitors of this type. Consequently, these promotion strategies are expected to give exhibitors some insights when they plan and organize their activities, and grow the performance of them.

Motion Capture using both Human Structural Characteristic and Inverse Kinematics (인체의 구조적 특성과 역운동학을 이용한 모션 캡처)

  • Previous hardware devices to capture human motion have many limitations; expensive equipment, complexity of manipulation or constraints of human motion. In order to overcome these problems, real-time motion capture algorithms based on computer vision have been actively proposed. This paper presents an efficient analysis method of multiple view images for real-time motion capture. First, we detect the skin color regions of human being, and then correct the image coordinates of the regions by using camera calibration and epipolar geometry. Finally, we track the human body part and capture human motion using kalman filter. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm can estimate a precise position of the human body.
