Effects of Live Commerce and Show Host Attributes on Purchase Intention: Including the Mediating Effects of Content Flow (라이브 커머스 및 쇼 호스트 특성이 구매의도에 미치는 영향: 콘텐츠 몰입의 매개효과를 포함하여)

  • Due to the development of mobile devices and streaming technology, many changes in consumption patterns have appeared. In addition, social impact is becoming an era of non-face-to-face consumption due to the panthermic environment of COVID-19. Accordingly, in line with the non-face-to-face consumption trend, we focused on the importance of live commerce, which is emerging as a new distribution channel, and tried to investigate the causal relationship that the characteristics of live commerce and show hosts have on purchase intention. The respondents of this study were 235 general adults of live commerce users. Interaction, economics, entertainment as the characteristics of live commerce and attractiveness, professionality, and awareness as the characteristics of show hosts were set as independent variables. Purchase intention was set as the dependent variable, and content flow was set as the mediating variable. As a result of the study, it was found that the characteristics of live commerce such as Interaction, economics, entertainment, and the characteristics of show hosts such as attractiveness, professionality, and awareness all had a positive (+) significant effect on purchase intention. The impact was shown in the following order: entertainment of live commerce, awareness, attractiveness, professionality of show hosts, economics, interaction of live commerce. In addition, the results of the mediating effect of content flow on purchase intention are as follows. Content flow was found to play a mediating role between interaction, entertainment, attractiveness, professionality, awareness and purchase intention. On the other hand, economics was analyzed to have no mediating effect. The implications of this study are as follows. Companies and show hosts that sell products in live commerce should sell products that can inspire consumers rather than simply sell products. In addition, it is considered that content that provides entertainment and attractions gives pleasure to consumers. If not only a well-recognized show host, but also people with high recognition in various fields such as influencers and creators, become show hosts, consumers' content flow and purchase intentions will increase. And vendors must offer interesting content development and reasonable prices. Show hosts need to focus on active communication with consumers.

  • This research purposed to the conceptual model with integrates the expanded task technology fit theory(TTF) and technical acceptance model(TAM) for the effect of the motivational factor of the consumer characteristics in the used the fashion mobile commerce. To fulfill the study objectives, a total of 432 questionnaires were conducted to the customers with first-hand experience with merchandise in mobile commerce. The judgement sampling method was employed on sample population ages from 20s to 30s over two month period. Based on the results of the above-mentioned path analysis, The result showed that First, the utilization experience was adopted as the have the notes effect in the and information acquisition fit, support fit, quality fit, perceived ease of use. and the innovativeness was adopted as the have the notes effect in the information support fit, perceived trust, perceived ease of use. and the self-efficacy was adopted as the have the notes effect in the and information quality fit, perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use. Second, the information acquisition fit, support fit were adopted as the have the notes effect in the perceived trust, perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use. and the information quality fit was adopted as the have the notes effect in the perceived trust, perceived usefulness. Third, the appeared similar effect which considers from all relationships such as perceived trust, perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, acceptance attitude and purchase intention.

  • The use of smart phones has had a great impact on the mobile internet business. It shows a lot of growth in the healthcare sector not only commerce, advertising, billing, games, video content, media, amd O2O business. The United States has eased the regulations for healthcare apps smart phone devices in 2015, and China has established a five-year road map to solve shortage of doctors and hospital beds by utilizing mobile devices such as wearable in the same year. The application of wearable devices in the medical field is gradually increasing in Korea too, but there is a security problem as leading challenge. Security incidents in non-ICT sectors such as financial, medical, etc. have increased by using ICT each year. Personal information leakage is also increasing in field likely occurring the potential secondary damages such as financial fraud, illegal promotions, insurance and pharmaceutical companies abuse. In this study, we analyze malwares as the mobile threats, the five risks of mobile smart phone, mobile use cases and the mobile threat countermeasures for healthcare.

  • The avoidance tendency of voice call in younger generation facilitates the growth of mobile O2O service that utilizes Messaging. This study adopted and elaborated original concepts of telephone apprehension to apply phone anxiety to O2O. We examined previous researches related to the ubiquity of service quality, communication ability and anxiety, and then conducted a survey to understand the consciousness of mobile O2O service users. The results show that users with high message intimacy and users with poor logicality are afraid of voice calls. The mobile O2O service is considered useful as a means to replace an unstable situation. In this study, we considered individual characteristics of acceptance factor of O2O mobile service technology, and it was a new attempt to expand telephone apprehension characteristic reflecting current situation. In addition, the different results of this research from prior studies that examined the relationships among apprehension, usefulness, and continuous use intentions might be helpful to expand and sophisticate the research area.

  • This research investigates the characteristics of the mobile social commerce and explores the moderating effects of perceived risk and price sensitivity. This survey targeted consumers in their 20s to 30s who use mobile social commerce applications. We used 261 questionnaires for the final statistical analysis. Descriptive analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, and hierarchical regression analysis were applied in the data analysis. The results are summarized as follows. First, characteristics of mobile social commerce are composed of economics, informativeness, entertainment and promotion. Second, perceived risk (which had a negative effect on purchase intention) had moderating effects between perceived risk and economics or entertainment. Third, price sensitivity (which had a positive effect on purchase intention) had a moderating effect between price sensitivity and promotion. This study contributes to the disclosure of the role of perceived risk and price sensitivity as moderating factors between the characteristics of mobile social commerce and purchase intention. Finally, useful implications (both academic and practical) are provided for fashion retail managers.

Mobile Commerce Brand Identity Strategy by SNS Text mining

  • In this paper, I propose an efficient brand identity strategy by topic modeling the Instagram posts, one of SNS(Social Network Service) having more than 1billion world-wide and 500 million daily users. Since the 92% age groups of the Instagram is 18~50 years old (59% 18~29y and 33% 30~49), I set research analysis target three mobile commerce sites to dress and cosmetics sales sites that sale apparels cosmetics and gadgets that recently opened and have operated marketing on diverse channel including SNS. By topic modeling SNS posts for 6 months after launching the site that tagged each m-commerce site brand name or company name, I validate companies' brand identity strategy works effectively and suggest moderation of strategy for brand image. As a result, I found one of three mobile commerce site has different brand image by users and need different identity set up.

  • Recently, it is being held festival according to regional and seasonally cultural feature in nationwide. Especially, local festivals are being provided festival information services a variety of forms for tourists depending on development of information device. However, systems to provide notification information of local festivals are not persistent but mostly short term service. In this paper, we propose a mobile commerce and information notification system through festival information alerts and festival surrounding information using local based on service. In addition, we implement a festival information notification system that applies to beacon based on bluetooth in order to inform them on diverse festival. Finally, we take into account in terms of design of system using object-oriented design modeling to improve reusability of proposed system.

  • Purpose Unlike advertising through the traditional media targeting unspecified number of people, the base of mobile environment using smartphone has expanded so that many companies can classify prospective customers according to their purpose, thereby enabling efficient targeted marketing with low cost. Design/methodology/approach This study has investigated how can marketing strategy be influenced by the price promotion type (immediate discount/delayed discount) and message framing (positive/negative) according to time pressure (low/high). Hypotheses are set through the consideration of prospect theory, endowment effect, framing effect, regulatory-focus theory, and time-pressure theory. Findings The results and interpretation of this study are as follows. First, it was found that the influence of the delayed discount on the purchase intention was larger than the immediate discount. Second, negative/loss frame messages have more influence on purchase intention than positive/profit frame messages. Third, when the price promotion type is delayed discount, the effect of the promotion message on the purchase intention when it presented by negative/loss frame is greater than the other cases. The implication of this study is that it can be used as a basic data for establishing a strategy to maximize the effectiveness of promotions effectively considering potential buyers of mobile commerce environment.
