Design of a Marine Leisure Information Retrieval Agent for Mobile Terminal Support of WIPI Environment (WIPI 환경의 모바일 단말기 지원을 위한 해양 레저 정보 탐색 에이전트의 설계)

  • According as marine leisure industry has developed and the demand of leisure culture has increased rapidly, a desire about service which supply marine safety and connect marine information is enlarging. The performance of personal mobile device has improved and been evolved by composition terminal. So, it became possible that storage and expression of multimedia information as well as simple communication facility. Domestic wireless internet has given development strain to developer and contents Provider(CP) because of different platform. And this has become hindrance factor of wireless internet activation. But, recently, the use of WIPI(Wireless Internet Platform for Interoperability), the wireless internet standard platform, could use different wireless application programs and also guarantee the independency for hardware. We wish to develop contents of download form that supply geographic information of Electronic Navigational Chart(ENC) in the marine that is digitalized to carrying along terminal of WIPI base and various informations for marine leisure. For this, DB that offer ENC and additional information should be constructed. Also, we need server (CPS; Contents provider Server) that offer required contents. In this paper, we design web retrieval agent which store request information to database. When consumer required necessary information through personal mobile device, CPS can inform that by real time. So, we wish to develop agent component that parse informations in various World Wide Webs, and store to database.

  • Recently, there are requires for auction system by growing up internet. This paper says if the customers add wonted goods to wanted list, the system automatically announce information to the customer via Inter Web browsing, whenever the proper goods to register to the auction system by seller. The system provides registration customer information, registration goods, wanted goods. And the application program can be downloaded from the Web System. Especially, this paper provides us very convenience check up service using the mobile phone, we can check our wanted goods or auction lists without regarding to place or time, we can alse purchase the goods more rapidly and easily.

  • Plain old Web Services came true a services integration with use the XML that will be able to define a platform-independent document format in basic document format. Hut, the XML document decreases the efficiency of the whole application program with connects frequently in relatively slow communication media like network environment, embedded system or use the resource limited small-sized instrument like mobile. In this paper, we implemented the algorism of Fast Infoset, which can convert XML into Fast XML using the Fast Inoset method and PER encoding rules in ASN.1 and constructs Test Bed. Also, it is compared with the existing pure XML message method in difference of process performance after encoding SOAP messages of XML basis when constructing web service.

  • Widgets are the instrument for representing user's character and embossing the value of blogs. The compound word of the Windows and Gadget the application, widgets are the functional program to displayed on the screen graphical user interface (GUI) tools as a kind of service that user want to see. On the operating system, the Web, and mobile area, widgets offer the delivery of information, convenience and efficiency. However widgets have been never gave satisfaction to user because it focused transmitting information and representing circumstance than fun. This study is for recognized fun elements that user feel interest and categorized fun elements each type of widgets. Fun elements of widget never been defined, we use fun elements on design and product area and emotional word that is representative of affectivity. And we make up an online questionnaire to blog users. The widget selected by popular degree among the domestic widgets and the Japanese widget. And the results of the questionnaire that 5-scales used based on user preferences to identify the elements that are fun.

An Empirical Study on Consumer's Continuous Usage Intention of Smartphone Services in China (중국 스마트폰 서비스의 지속적 사용의도에 관한 실증연구)

  • With the active smartphones user exceeding 500 million by the end of 2014, China has now become the largest smartphone market in the world. Smartphone companies provide variety of information through a range of applications, such as communications, entertainment, games, and so on. There were many studies conducted about the user acceptance and continuous intention of mobile service. However, it is still not quite clear what factors attract people to reuse smartphone in China. This paper examines the continuous intention of smartphone about Chinese customers. This study incorporates perceived enjoyment as a additional construct into a extended TAM model, by integrating a hedonic service of smartphone. We propose a research model that reflects the individual characteristics and usage contexts of smartphone, such as innovativeness, social influence, and service quality, and analyze the structural relationship between the main variables through empirical study. This study empirically investigated a research model and conducted a survey of smartphone service users in China. Our study proved that perceived enjoyment has a positive influence on continuous intention to use smartphone services. This paper provides the managers an insight that smartphone companies should take more consideration on how to provide more enjoyable service and attract customers to reuse their services.

The Impact of Soccer Player Image on Advertising Effect (축구 선수 이미지가 광고효과에 미치는 영향)

  • This study aimed to provide basic data for establishing advertising strategy based on the value and implications of the image of the player by examining the influence of the image of a soccer player on the advertising effect. Therefore, a domestic soccer player selected as a sample the production population who experienced the advertisement selected as a model, and conducted a face-to-face (face-to-face) and non-face-to-face (mobile) survey for about 5 months from May 1 to September 30, 2020. Data from a total of 402 people were used for the final analysis. For data processing, frequency analysis, internal consistency and exploratory factor analysis, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis were performed using the SPSS (ver. 21.0) program. The main results of this study are as follows. First, it was found that the soccer player image impact the brand attitude of the advertising effect in the order of body and appearance, performance, reliability, attitude and morality. Second, it was found that the soccer player image impact the advertising attitude of the advertising effect in the order of performance, attitude and morality, body and appearance, reliability.

  • An application called an app can be downloaded and used on mobile devices. Among them, Android-based apps have the disadvantage of being implemented on an open source basis and can be exploited by anyone, but unlike iOS, which discloses only a small part of the source code, Android is implemented as an open source, so it can analyze the code. However, since anyone can participate in changing the source code of open source-based Android apps, the number of malicious codes increases and types are bound to vary. Malicious codes that increase exponentially in a short period of time are difficult for humans to detect one by one, so it is efficient to use a technique to detect malicious codes using AI. Most of the existing malicious app detection methods are to extract Features and detect malicious apps. Therefore, three ways to select the optimal feature to be used for learning after feature extraction are proposed. Finally, in the step of modeling with optimal features, ensemble techniques are used in addition to a single model. Ensemble techniques have already shown results beyond the performance of a single model, as has been shown in several studies. Therefore, this paper presents a plan to select the optimal feature and implement a learning model for Android app-based malicious code detection.

New Insights on Mobile Location-based Services(LBS): Leading Factors to the Use of Services and Privacy Paradox (모바일 위치기반서비스(LBS) 관련한 새로운 견해: 서비스사용으로 이끄는 요인들과 사생활염려의 모순)

  • As Internet usage is becoming more common worldwide and smartphone become necessity in daily life, technologies and applications related to mobile Internet are developing rapidly. The results of the Internet usage patterns of consumers around the world imply that there are many potential new business opportunities for mobile Internet technologies and applications. The location-based service (LBS) is a service based on the location information of the mobile device. LBS has recently gotten much attention among many mobile applications and various LBSs are rapidly developing in numerous categories. However, even with the development of LBS related technologies and services, there is still a lack of empirical research on the intention to use LBS. The application of previous researches is limited because they focused on the effect of one particular factor and had not shown the direct relationship on the intention to use LBS. Therefore, this study presents a research model of factors that affect the intention to use and actual use of LBS whose market is expected to grow rapidly, and tested it by conducting a questionnaire survey of 330 users. The results of data analysis showed that service customization, service quality, and personal innovativeness have a positive effect on the intention to use LBS and the intention to use LBS has a positive effect on the actual use of LBS. These results implies that LBS providers can enhance the user's intention to use LBS by offering service customization through the provision of various LBSs based on users' needs, improving information service qualities such as accuracy, timeliness, sensitivity, and reliability, and encouraging personal innovativeness. However, privacy concerns in the context of LBS are not significantly affected by service customization and personal innovativeness and privacy concerns do not significantly affect the intention to use LBS. In fact, the information related to users' location collected by LBS is less sensitive when compared with the information that is used to perform financial transactions. Therefore, such outcomes on privacy concern are revealed. In addition, the advantages of using LBS are more important than the sensitivity of privacy protection to the users who use LBS than to the users who use information systems such as electronic commerce that involves financial transactions. Therefore, LBS are recommended to be treated differently from other information systems. This study is significant in the theoretical point of contribution that it proposed factors affecting the intention to use LBS in a multi-faceted perspective, proved the proposed research model empirically, brought new insights on LBS, and broadens understanding of the intention to use and actual use of LBS. Also, the empirical results of the customization of LBS affecting the user's intention to use the LBS suggest that the provision of customized LBS services based on the usage data analysis through utilizing technologies such as artificial intelligence can enhance the user's intention to use. In a practical point of view, the results of this study are expected to help LBS providers to develop a competitive strategy for responding to LBS users effectively and lead to the LBS market grows. We expect that there will be differences in using LBSs depending on some factors such as types of LBS, whether it is free of charge or not, privacy policies related to LBS, the levels of reliability related application and technology, the frequency of use, etc. Therefore, if we can make comparative studies with those factors, it will contribute to the development of the research areas of LBS. We hope this study can inspire many researchers and initiate many great researches in LBS fields.

  • Organizations depend on smart working environments, such as mobile networks. This development motivates companies to focus on information security. Information leakage negatively affects companies. To address this issue, management and information security researchers focus on compliance of employees with information security policies. Countermeasures in information security are known antecedents of intention to comply information security policies. Despite the importance of this topic, research on the antecedents of information security countermeasures is scarce. The present study proposes information security intelligence as an antecedent of information security countermeasures. Information security intelligence adapted the concept of safety intelligence provided by Kirwan (2008). Information security intelligence consists of problem solving skills, social skills, and information security knowledge related to information security. Results show that problem solving skills and information security knowledge have positive effects on the awareness of employees of information security countermeasures.

Simplification of Face Image using Cubic Spline Interpolation (Cubic Spline Interpolation을 이용한 얼굴 영상의 단순화)

  • This paper is presented to study simplification of face image using cubic spline interpolation for a business card with 2D barcode. People often forget business card's owner because business cards don't be included a face picture generally. To solve such problem, many applications have be developed through mobile devices, Internet and so on. But they couldn't caught up with value of existing business card mad by paper. Hence, some methods which can put information on business card using 1D or 2D barcode had suggested. but they couldn't include information like face image or company logo image which have too much data. Therefore, we study the simplification method of face image to encode from a face image to 2D barcode. The simplification method using spline curves defined by feature points which we dotted on face, ears, hair, eyebrows, nose, lips, neck, etc.. on a face area. for experiment, we see real face image and simplified face image made by proposed method after we automatically extract face watch through camera. In experimental results, data of simplified face image was reduced as small as it can be expressed by 2D barcode, and confirmed that it can effectively express features.
