Communication through smartphones is creating a new paradigm of mobile communication beyond the restrictions of mobility and space. The mobile instant messengers of the smartphone, which began on the desktop environment, are providing various communication features, including multimedia contents, texts, and voice. Kindergartens and nurseries are using Websites, phones, SMS, printed materials, handwritten notifications, etc. to communicate with the parents. IsPlus was developed to facilitate the communication between the parents and the teachers, including exchanges of pictures and videos, chatting, and attendance management using smartphones. This is meaningful in that it is an early smartphone mobile messenger for educational institutions for infants and preschoolers. This study presented a new approach to the development of a mobile messenger for a specific group of users by analyzing the user environment, communication types, application planning process and interface design development using storytelling.

현재 네트워크 시스템은 유선에서 무선으로 발전하면서 많은 업무가 모바일 기반의 업무로 변화되고 있다. 그 중 대표적인 것이 모바일 오피스 시스템으로 중요 구성요소 중 하나인 커뮤니케이션은 구성원간의 단문 메시지 서비스(SMS)이다. 그러나 최근 무선 환경의 발전으로 단문 메시지 전송 방식이 SMS에서 모바일 메신저로 변화하고 있으나 그에 대처하지 못한 시스템들이 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 모바일 오피스 시스템에서 사용되고 있는 SMS를 대체하여 MQTT(Message Queuing Telemetry Transport) 프로토콜을 이용한 협업 메신저 시스템을 설계 및 구현한다.

Given rapid growth of mobile messenger services (MMSs) such as KakaoTalk, Line, and Wechat, it has become critical to understand the mechanisms that lead to user loyalty in the MMS context. In this regard, this study examined key factors of user loyalty in the MMS environment. We posit attitudinal loyalty and IT expertise as key drivers of behavioral loyalty. In addition, the impacts of perceived usefulness and emotion on attitudinal loyalty were examined. Data collected from 235 KakaoTalk users who have used more than 1 year were empirically tested against a research model using partial least squares. The analysis results found that both attitudinal loyalty and IT expertise play an important role in enhancing behavioral loyalty in the MMS context. The findings of this study indicate that perceived usefulness and positive emotion significantly influence attitudinal loyalty, whereas negative emotion negatively affects it. The analysis results provide several insights that can help MMS providers understand the role of emotion in enhancing user loyalty.

With the increase in smartphone user, mobile forensics has become an essential element in modern digital forensic investigation. Mobile messenger data is very important data in mobile forensics because it can acquire information such as user's life pattern and mental state. In order to analyze messenger data, a decryption technique of an encrypted messenger data is required. Since most messengers provide a message deleting function, a technique for recovering deleted messages is required. WeChat Messenger, a messenger used by about 1 billion people around the world, uses IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) information to encrypt data and provides message deletion function. In this paper, we propose a data decryption method in the absence of IMEI information and propose a method for recovering deleted messages using FTS (Full Text Search) database created for full-text search function of SQLite database.

글로벌시대가 시작되면서 많은 사람들이 외국인과 소통하는 일이 많아졌다. 해외에 있는 사람들과 소통하기 위해 많은 사람들이 요금이 부과되지 않는 모바일 메신저를 사용한다. 하지만 많은 모바일 메신저에서는 번역기능을 제공하지 않는다. 본 연구는 다국적 언어 소통을 위한 번역이 가능한 모바일 메신저를 제공한다. 외부 번역 naver papagoAPI 와 firebase의 인증, 실시간 데이터베이스를 이용하는 안드로이드 기반 자동 번역 채팅 앱과 연결하여 자동 번역 채팅 서비스를 구현하였다. 본 논문의 애플리케이션은 기존에 번역기나 챗봇을 사용해야 했던 불편함은 낮추고 외국어 채팅의 자유도를 높여주는 결과가 나타난다. 이를 통해 자연스러운 외국어 채팅이 가능하도록 하여 서로 다른 언어를 사용하는 사람들과 언어에 상관없이 자유로운 의사소통을 가능하도록 한다.

Character of emoticon is considered suitable for expressivity in the digital era mixing and using contents of conversation with images in the course of having a talk with the other party in the mobile space. For the foregoing, this study carried out multiple regression analysis having factors of character attribute such as awareness, friendliness, self-expressivity and image differentiation as independent variables, and purchase intention of purchasers as a dependent variable. Analysis results show that awareness and image differentiation had a positive influence on the purchase intention, whereas friendliness and self-expressivity exerted no significant influence on the purchase intention.

오늘날 인스턴트 메시징은 사용자들에게 개인 및 비즈니스 상의 대화의 편리함을 제공하며 거의 모든 현대인들의 일상에 한 축을 담당하고 있다 해도 과언이 아니다. 이러한 모바일 메신저 어플리케이션들은 사용성을 넘어 사용자들의 개인정보 보호와 메시지의 기밀성 및 무결성을 위해 끊임없이 발전해 왔고 많은 사용자들 역시 언론을 통해 발표되는 메신저 어플리케이션들의 여러 보안 이슈들을 접하게 되면서 사용성을 넘어 강력한 보안을 자랑하는 메신저 어플리케이션을 주목하고 이를 사용하고 있다. 그 중 안전하다고 평가받고 있고 백만 이상의 안드로이드 앱 스토어 사용자가 설치한 와이어 라는 메신저 어플리케이션의 프로토콜 분석을 통해 어떤 방법으로 그들이 강조하고 있는 보안 목표를 달성하고 있는지 확인한다.

As the use of smartphones become more common, the communication via instant messenger becomes natural. However, it is important to secure the relevant information promptly since the chat room between participants can be used as a space for a criminal conspiracy, and crime-related contents can be stored and deleted easily on smartphones. Therefore, this study aims to identify the available data and to use it as proof by comparing and analyzing the instant messengers with high usage rate.

최근 모바일 컴퓨팅은 계속적인 초소형 모바일 단말기의 출시와 다양한 응용 프로그램의 개발로 산업 전반에 영향을 주고 있다. 동시에 모바일 장비와 무선 네트워크는 서로 불가분의 관계로 이들에 대한 관심과 기대가 커지면서 모바일 컴퓨팅 및 무선 네트워크 기술도 향상되고 있다. 본 논문은 사용자가 지속 적으로 증가되고 모바일 장비인 PDA 에 무선 랜 카드를 장착하여 무선 인터넷에 접속하여, 일정 반경의 인트라넷 안에서 이동하면서 PDA 간에 자신의 음성(voice) 메시지를 송수신할 수 있는 보이스 메신저 시스템을 설계 및 구현하였다.

In this paper, we analyze trends in the use of mobile forensic technology, focusing on cases where mobile forensics are used, and we predict the development of future mobile forensics technology using linear regression used in future prediction models. For the current status and outlook analysis, we extracted a total of 8 variables by analyzing 1,397 domestic and foreign mobile forensics-related cases and newspaper articles. We analyzed the prospects for each variable using the year of occurrence as an independent variable, seven variables such as text (text message usage information), communication information (cell phone communication information), Internet usage information, messenger usage information, stored files, GPS, and others as dependent variables. As a result of the analysis, among various aspects of the use of mobile devices, the use of Internet usage information, messenger usage information, and data stored in mobile devices is expected to increase. Therefore, it is expected that continuous research on technologies that can effectively extract and analyze characteristic information of mobile devices such as file systems, the Internet, and messengers will be needed As mobile devices increase performance and utilization in the future and security technology.
