  • 위치 기반 서비스는 기존의 IT 기술과 통합되는 경우 매우 다양한 형태의 지능적인 서비스의 제공이 가능하다. 본 논문에서는 위치 기반 서비스와 모바일 폰의 휴대성을 결합한 LBS 기반의 노약자 보호 시스템을 설계 및 구현하였다. 본 시스템을 이용하는 경우 치매 노인, 정신지체 및 발달 장애를 앓고 있는 노약자들에 대한 효과적인 실시간 위치 검색 및 추적이 가능하도록 하였으며, 또한 배터리 잔량 등을 실시간으로 확인할 수 있도록 하여, 정신 질환을 앓고 있는 노약자들의 실종을 미연에 방지할 수 있도록 하였다.

  • Nowadays, the interests in travel are increasing with the changes into the ubiquitous computing environments, hence, our location-based travel information service system would be potentially invaluable to graft the Internet business models. Most of existing travel information services are provided in a one-way push manner from the contents providers to users, and they have drawbacks of enforcing users to search their needed information with the general Web surfing. Therefore, this paper propose the travel information system for gathering user information and for providing services that satisfy user requirements by filtering based on these information.

  • 최근 이동통신, 초고속 인터넷 등 유무선 통신 네트워크 기술 발전에 따라서 정보가정기기 기반의 홈네트워크 서비스는 비약적인 발전을 하고 있다. 특히, 이기종기기간 QOS(Quality of Service)를 보장해줄 수 있는 UPnP(Universal Plug and Play) 기반 기술은 다양한 홈네트워크 서비스 개발에 적용되어지고 있다. 홈네트워크 환경 구축 시 이기종기기간 데이터 교환 및 서비스 전환을 위해서는 홈네트워크 상에 구성되어져 있는 모든 디바이스들을 등록, 연결, 삭제 할 수 있는 관리 기능은 매우 중요한 요소이다. 이에 본 논문에서는 홈네트워크 환경에서 모바일에이전트를 사용하여 자동적으로 디바이스를 탐색하고 상호 연결 할 수 있으며 UPnP 기기가 설치된 공간에서 이동형 서비스를 연속적으로 제공할 수 있는 자동화된 디바이스 매칭 방법을 제안하였다. 모바일에이전트는 홈네트워크 환경에 구성되어져 있는 UPnP Device를 주기적으로 검색하고 탐색하는 기능을 가지고 있다. 또한 Device간의 신뢰성 있는 서비스를 위해 모바일에이전트는 사용자의 Device와 서비스 Device의 연관성을 분석한다. 그리고 가장 유사도가 높은 Device에게 서비스를 연결하는 서비스로그 정보 링크 동작을 수행한다. 그럼으로써 사용자는 서로 다른 서비스 환경에서도 자신의 서비스를 시간, 공간의 제약 없이 연속적으로 제공받을 수 있다.

Power-aware Dynamic Path Selection Scheme in AOMDV(Ad hoc On-demand Distance Vector) (AOMDV(Ad hoc On-demand Multipath Distance Vector)에서의 전력을 고려한 동적 경로 선택 기법)

  • Unlike a cellular network, a mobile ad hoc network(MANET) is constructed only by mobile nodes without access point. Mobile nodes in MANET operate with scarce resources and restricted battery. If battery of intermediate node is exhausted, overall network might be diverged. Therefore, power-aware is really important. An on-demand multipath routing protocol which is proposed to compensate for shortcoming of on-demand single path routing protocol can reduce mute discovery overhead because route discovery starts only when all routes are disconnected. AOMDV(Ad hoc On-demand Multipath Distance Vector) which is on-demand multipath routing protocol based on AODV, reduces 40% of route discovery frequency. However, AOMDV have none of power-aware. So AOMDV have problem that route discovery for power exhaustion is not reduced at all. This paper proposes new power-aware path selection algorithm for AOMDV and scheme that broadcast REER packets when mobile node's battery can be gone. Performance comparison of proposed algorithm with AOMDV using ns-2 simulator shows that route discovery of proposed algorithm is reduced maximally 36.57% than AOMDV's.

Case Study for the Communication Elements of Facebook Advertising (페이스북광고의 커뮤니케이션 요소에 관한 연구)

  • This study will analyze the meaning and the characteristic of advertising system in Facebook, one of the leading social platforms. This study focuses on finding the trend of mobile advertisement and observing Facebook users behavior. During 30seconds, the researcher observed the behaviors of 50 male and female university students which they access and use their own Facebook individually. After the observation, the researcher did an in-depth analysis based on offline discussion with tested participants. As a result, it can be classified in positive causes and negative causes of the advertisement. There are 3 positive causes; native advertisement effect, acquaintance effect, and big data effect and they help people watch the advertisement positively. 1.5-3 times per second high speed scroll behavior (Finger effect) is the main negative cause and it help users escape from the advertisement easily. These positive and negative causes have an interactive synergy which reduces user stress and makes people enjoy ad more than other media. Finally, both of them cause making Facebook a better environment for the advertisement.

  • As the demand of sea leisure increases recently, interest is converged sea safety and offer of quick and systematic information according to weather environment that change rapidly. Use of Electronic Navigational Chart(ENC) in the sea in offer of geography information through Mobile terminal was gone to level that run in PDA environment in domestic by bulky good physician data information and complicated processing way of island in the sea expression in sea, and is loaded in obligatory sailing equipment of ship yet and is used. In this paper, we develop server system that take charge index for offer of quick information through Restrictive resource management and Caching Technique, image conversion and database construction and fast search to service various marine leisure informations of Weather Data and so on and image information of ENC in the sea to Mobile portable phone terminal efficiently.

  • 면접자나 면접관이나 인재들이 해당 조직에서 일을 해보지 않고서는 조직문화와 직무에 적합한지에 대해 확신 할 수 없고 만약 적합하지 않다면 면접자나 조직이나 서로 피해를 입는 상황이 발생한다. 이러한 상황들을 개선하기 위해 감성 어휘를 기반으로 한 이미지 스케일과 감성어휘 분류 시스템을 분석한다. 또한 면접자들의 이력서와 자기소개서에 있는 단어들을 분석하여 조직문화와 해당 직무에 적합한 인재 선발에 참고 자료를 제공할 수 있는 감성 어휘를 기반으로 한 인재 검색 시스템에 기초가 되는 이미지 스케일과 감성 어휘 분류체계에 대해 연구한다.

An Analysis for Deriving New Convergent Service of Mobile Learning: The Case of Social Network Analysis and Association Rule (모바일 러닝에서의 신규 융합서비스 도출을 위한 분석: 사회연결망 분석과 연관성 분석 사례)

  • This study is conducted to explore the possibility of service convergence to promote mobile learning. This study has attempted to identify how mobile learning service is provided, which services among them are considered most popular, and which services are highly demanded by users. This study has also investigated the potential opportunities for service convergence of mobile service and e-learning. This research is then extended to examine the possibility of active convergence of common services in mobile services and e-learning. Important variables have been identified from related web pages of portal sites using social network analysis (SNA) and association rules. Due to the differences in number and type of variables on different web pages, SNA was used to deal with the difficulties of identifying the degree of complex connection. Association analysis has been used to identify association rules among variables. The study has revealed that most frequent services among common services of mobile services and e-learning were Games and SNS followed by Payment, Advertising, Mail, Event, Animation, Cloud, e-Book, Augmented Reality and Jobs. This study has also found that Search, News, GPS in mobile services were turned out to be very highly demanded while Simulation, Culture, Public Education were highly demanded in e-learning. In addition, It has been found that variables involving with high service convergence based on common variables of mobile and e-learning services were Games and SNS, Games and Sports, SNS and Advertising, Games and Event, SNS and e-Book, Games and Community in mobile services while Games, Animation, Counseling, e-Book, being preceding services Simulation, Speaking, Public Education, Attendance Management were turned out be highly convergent in e-learning services. Finally, this study has attempted to predict possibility of active service convergence focusing on Games, SNS, e-Book which were highly demanded common services in mobile and e-learning services. It is expected that this study can be used to suggest a strategic direction to promote mobile learning by converging mobile services and e-learning.

A Study on Determinants of Showrooming in the Context of Omni-channel: Focusing on Mobile Technology and User Characteristics (옴니채널에서 쇼루밍의 결정요인 연구: 모바일 기술과 이용자 특성을 중심으로)

  • This study explains consumers' showrooming which refers to the activities of visiting offline stores to check products in person and obtaining information offline and online via mobile devices before making the final decision to buy. More specifically, this study verifies key determinants of showrooming based on two dimensions of the mobile technology and user characteristics. Furthermore, the study examines the relationship of showrooming and purchase intentions and the moderating effect of perceived risks on the relationship. The key findings are as follows: firstly, service connectivity and time convenience of the mobile technology characteristics are positively related to showroming. Secondly, as the user characteristics, need for touch and personal innovativeness increase showrooming while impulsiveness does not. Thirdly, showrooming contributes to the increase of purchase intentions. Finally, moderating effect of perceived risks has turned out to be insignificant. This study has implications by providing the understanding of key determinants of showrooming and further proving the positive relationship of showrooming and purchase intentions.

An Adaptive Chord for Minimizing Network Traffic in a Mobile P2P Environment (모바일 P2P 환경에서 네트워크 트래픽을 최소화한 적응적인 Chord)

  • A DHT(Distributed Hash Table) based P2P is a method to overcome disadvantages of the existing unstructured P2P method. If a DHT algorithm is used, it can do a fast data search and maintain search efficiency independent of the number of peer. The peers in the DHT method send messages periodically to keep the routing table updated. In a mobile environment, the peers in the DHT method should send messages more frequently to keep the routing table updated and reduce the failure of a request. Therefore, this results in increase of network traffic. In our previous research, we proposed a method to reduce the update load of the routing table in the existing Chord by updating it in a reactive way, but the reactive method had a disadvantage to generate more traffic than the existing Chord if the number of requests per second becomes large. In this paper, we propose an adaptive method of routing table update to reduce the network traffic. In the proposed method, we apply different routing table update method according to the number of request message per second. If the number of request message per second is smaller than some threshold, we apply the reactive method. Otherwsie, we apply the existing Chord method. We perform experiments using Chord simulator (I3) made by UC Berkeley. The experimental results show the performance improvement of the proposed method compared to the existing methods.
