This study is to investigate makeup shown in fashion collections of Christian Dior based on semiotical theory of Morris. Morris's theory developed from semiotics of Peirce composed of syntactics, semantics and pragmatics. Therefore, in the case of analysis of fashion makeup, syntactics investigates signs of forms, colors, textures and materials of makeup, semantics finds out meanings of the signs of syntactics and pragmatics analyzes aesthetic characteristics which the signs of syntactics and the meanings of semantics symbolize. Fashion makeup in Christian Dior Collections were expressed experimentalism sign, multi-culture sign and popularity sign. Experimentalism signs were expressed with graphic makeup and cyber techno makeup and multi-culture signs were done with ethnic make up and retro makeup. In addition, goth make up and hitch makeup showed popularity signs. This study found that the three types of signs were considered to reflect aesthetics of the contemporary fashion. Also, this study could conclude that fashion makeup was able to be interpreted by Morris' semiotics.

대량생산을 야기 시킨 산업혁명은 공장주의 재산을 급속도로 부강하게 하는 한편 노동자의 생활 질을 급소도로 저하시켰다. 즉, 노동자들은 기계의 ‘손’역활을 하는 정도로 인격적으로 타락되었으며, 분업작업은 이들로부터 사고력마저 빼앗아 가게되는 실정에 이르렀다. 이익에 눈이 어두어 지게 된 공장주들은 노동임금을 최하로 저하시키고, 노동시설을 비롯해 자본투자를 최소한으로 줄이려는 데서 디자인 질의 격하현상을 초래했다. 즉, 창조적인 디자인 개발 대신에 다른 나라(특히 불란서)의 것을 모방하거나, 기존에 왔던 디자인들을 모방하는데 그치지 않았을 뿐 아니라, 롤러 프린트 사이즈에 맞게 기존된 디자인을 수정하는 작업이 디자이너가 아닌 직공에 의해 이루어지다 보니 그 난잡함은 이루 말 할 수 없을 정도였다. 푸긴과 러스틴은 각자의 작품에 대해 긍지를 지녔던 중세기의 장인제도로 돌아가자고 외쳤고, 러스킨의 아이디어를 철저히 계승받은 윌리암 모리스는 순수예술 못지않는 가치를 장식예술에 부여했으며, 건축이 모든 장식예술의 정점이라고 주장했다. 러스킨과 모리스의 정신을 이어받아 차세대의 건축가/디자이너들은 디자인의 질을 향상시키고, 디자이너의 위치를 화가나 조각가의 위치로 부각시키기 위한 끊임없는 노력을 통해,‘예술/공예 전시협회’를 창설해 오리지널한 장식예술품을 창조하도록 분위기를 조성했을 뿐만 아니라, 강여회와 저서들을 통해 디자이너 자신들과 산업체와 국민들을 교육시켰다. 맥머도, 보이지, 데이, 크레인, 하이테, 버터필드 등은 특히 벽지나 텍 스타일 디자인 등 패턴 디자인 분야에 관심을 보였다. 독창적이고 참신한 이들의 디자인들은 국내의 디자인 질을 향상시켰을 뿐만 아니고, 디자인사의 새 장을 열게끔 한 계기가 되었다.

The study on the analytical and productive methodolgy of visual culture contents is meaningful because cultural contents are regarded as a national growth industry. The fundamental notion of cultural contents is researched based on the notion of visual culture, and important factors of the fun are analyzed as a creative motive of visual culture contents. So this paper provides anaytical methodologies for the fun in visual culture contents, which are based on semiotic theories of Charles Morris, Roland Barthes and Roman Jakobson. These analytical matrix can be references for the study of the mechanism of fun and the basic theory for using fun effects in the visual culture contents.

가장 통상적인 사이버 공격 형태는 컴퓨터 네트워크에 대한 공격으로 악성 코드가 이용된다 이 중에서도 웜에 의한 공격이 현재의 고도로 네트워크화 된 환경에서 심각한 위협이 되고 있다. 인터넷 웜의 효시인 모리스가 발표된 이후로 웜에 대한 많은 연구가 이루어지고 있으나, 웜의 공격을 사전에 방지하기 위한 확실한 대책이 없는 실정이다. 최근에 웜의 대응 기술 중의 하나로 웜의 빠른 확산을 방지하기 위하여 트래픽 율(rate)을 제한하는 방법에 많은 관심이 집중되고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 웜 공격에 따른 특성을 분석하고, 웜의 확산을 막기 위하여 사용되는 Rate-limiting을 포함하여, 봉쇄(containment) 기술에 대하여 제시하고자 한다.

Aesthetic Movement is an artistic movement which intended to bring up the quality by implanting beauty in everyday life. Aesthetic movement made the beauty itself come alive within each person and thus made it possible to improve the quality of life. Aesthetic Movement emphasized the total artistic concept and this brought new wave to the textile design movement. This paper is the study on the Aesthetisism and the effect that had on the textile design. This study draws the conclusion that there are four areas the textile designs of that era was influcenced by : Firstly , through the influence of the Japanese art, the textile designs came to have 2 dimensional quality. Secondly, through the influence of the pre Raphaelite, colors in the textile designs changed to have pale tones. Thirdly, with the influence of William Morris, the creativity in textile design came to be alive. Forthly, to better the quality of life and design, the cooperative spirits of Arthur Liberty, Morris, Godwin, Lewis Days and other designers, architects including artists contributed a great deal to make the English textile designs to be creative contemproary art works.

The aim of this article is to outline the history and importance of the Korean rare books in Coll$\grave{e}$ge de France. With this purpose in mind, the historical background and the process of how these books came to Coll$\grave{e}$ge de France were studied through cataloguing the list, and then analyzing them by subject, printing type, and timeline. We examined the relationship between the private collections of Maurice Courant(1865-1935) and the Korean rare books held in Coll$\grave{e}$ge de France. The Bibliographie Cor$\acute{e}$enne written by Maurice Courant is the most important reference book for studying the publication of the late Joseon dynasty and finding the whereabouts of the Korean books in France. Also, we tried to figure out the best way to implement and make use of a bibliographic database, and contribute to the exploration and study of Korean Cultural Heritage scattered outside Korea.

Spent layer breast meat and leg meat samples washed with 0.05 M sodium bicarbonate solution and 0.04 M phosphate buffer(pH 8.3) showed decreases in heat denaturation temperature indicating the destabilization of myofibrillar proteins. The destabilization was attributed to the solubilization of 95 Kdalton and 55 kdalton proteins from the myofibrils observed in gel-electrophoretograms. Transmission electron microscopy further indicated the breakage of Z-lines.
