Most traditional databases exploit record-oriented storage model where the attributes of a record are placed contiguously in hard disk to achieve high performance writes. However, for search-mostly datawarehouse systems, column-oriented storage has become a proper model because of its superior read performance. Today, flash memory is largely recognized as the preferred storage media for high-speed database systems. In this paper, we introduce fast column-oriented database model and then propose a new column-aware index management scheme for the high-speed column-oriented datawarehouse system. Our index management scheme which is based on enhanced $B^+$-Tree achieves high search performance by embedded flash index and unused space compression in internal and leaf nodes. Based on the results of the performance evaluation, we conclude that our index management scheme outperforms the traditional scheme in the respect of the search throughput and response time.

Three plastic film solar dryers covered with different film layer were constructed by modifying farm vinyl house and studied their performance. The collection efficiency and temperature raising of type C which was covered with double layers of transparent PE and black PVC film was most efficient, followed after B covered with double layer of transparent PE film and type A covered with single layer transparent PE film. The inside temperature of type C was average $18^{\circ}C$ higher than ambient temperature and its collection efficiency showed 31.5% with air flow rate of $3.8m^3/min$. The solar energy collection efficiency of type C was increased in proportion to air flow rate up to 60.2% at $11.3m^3/min$. In demonstration drying test of red pepper in type C, drying capacity per unit area was 2.5 times higher than that of conventional solar drying on straw mat and drying time shortened to about half.

본 연구는 지역별로 단동비닐하우스의 설치현황, 단면형상, 폭, 지붕높이, 측고, 측벽기울기, 골조재의 규격, 서까래간격, 가로대의 설치위치 및 개수, 내용년수 등을 현장조사를 통하여 비닐하우스의 구조실태를 파악하였다. 설치지역별에 따른 단동비닐하우스의 구조특성을 조사ㆍ분석한 본 연구결과는 관행적으로 시공되고 있는 소형비닐하우스의 구조표준화를 위한 기초자료로 활용할 수 있으며 매년 반복되고 있는 강풍과 폭설로 인한 소형비닐하우스의 피해를 줄일 수 있는 안전모델 개발의 기초자료로 활용할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

국내에서 지방자치단체의 정보화 추진은 정보화의 변화 추세에 따라 업무별로 자료를 구축하여 활용되고 있으나 통합적으로 연결된 형태의 자료구축이 이루어지지 않고 있어 현 정보시스템의 활용 효율을 높이고 의사결정지원을 위한 정보시스템의 구축이 필요하다. 이에 지방자치단체에서 업무적으로 연결된 통합 DB(Database)와 DW(Data Warehouse)를 구축하여 업무 편리성을 높이고 의사결정에 활용할 수 있는 모델을 제시한다.

An elastic analysis under wind load was performed for the double layered plastic greenhouse model developed particularly for minimizing damages under typhoons at Cheju Citrus Research institute in Seagipo city. General EVA film was used for the inner covering and the developed special film which would break the wind pressure down was used for the outer covering. The wind tunnel test showed this special film reduced the wind speed up to 86 to 98% under well controlled situation. Based on the elastic analysis performed in the study, the behavior of the greenhouse was changed significantly due to the boundary conditions. Not like other researchers before we applied dead load of the concrete support to the ground pipe and fixed support boundary conditions at the 4 corner pipes. The analysis shows that the greenhouse was lifted and pulled the pipe out of the ground due to the sucking wind pressure. The behavior of the greenhouse was quite similar to that one real greenhouse failure. Therefore, not only we need to find the realistic boundary conditions for the supports, but also need to find how to rest the pipe supports on the ground without economic loss.

This study aims to understand the characteristics of sports marketing businesses of the 10 largest advertising agencies which lead the advertising market in Korea. To do that, the present author has investigated into the traits of the advertising market in Korea and how the characteristics are connected to sports businesses of the advertising agencies, with a focus on the current condition of sport marketing businesses of the agencies. The sports marketing business of the 10 largest advertising agencies in Korea was described by the fact that they did not create profits through sports business but just conducted their sports marketing activities mainly related to the sponsorship and event planning for communicating their parent companies. Such the characteristics of the advertising agencies is attributed to their nature that they are in-house agencies of large companies. The agencies engage in a variety of sports promotion sectors aligned with the intended business directions of their sponsors, however they are encountering considerable challenges in the aspect of sports business focused on property.

In conjunction with the rapid progress of IT(information technology) an increasing amount of data are being generated. The amount of new data is so big and the type of new data generated from clients or sensor devices needed to be in ubiquitous environment is so various that it is hard to manage and control them. Especially data to be occurred in ubiquitous environment are generated through PDA(personal digital assistant) smart phone, mobile device or sensor units etc. Therefore, to manage and control them generated from ubiquitous devices for decision making, we can use data warehouse as an integrated storage. A data warehouse integrates and aggregates data of several different DBMS into one DBMS. Also the updated data from source data have to be effectively propagated to the data warehouse. Therefore, in this paper, we proposed a mode) for an exact and efficient data management methodology in new IT paradigm environment, ubiquitous computing environment, to apply updated data on the warehouse to make decision. We also show brief result compared to conventional methodology.

1. 실시간 모니터링 -온실 내부환경의 계측장치로 모듈화된 단일 칩 마이크로프로세서를 이용한 하우스 모니터를 개발하였다. 개발된 다수의 하우스 모니터는 RS-485통신을 이용하여 개발된 프로토콜을 통하여 그룹 모니터와 통신하면서 계측 데이터를 전송하였고 안정된 계측 성능을 보였다. 또한 그룹 모니터는 하우스모니터로부터 수신한 데이터를 인터넷 환경 TCP/IP 통신에 의해 서버에 정보를 전송하고 데이터베이스 서버에 저장할 수 있었다. 2. 클라이언트 서버 모델 -클라이언트 모니터를 통하여 허용된 사용자들은 해당 온실의 상황을 원격지에서 파악할 수 있는 있었다. 또한 분산환경 기술을 이용하여 서버를 경유하여 데이터베이스 서버에서 데이터 셋을 가져와 과거 재배 사례 등을 조회 및 이용 가능하였다. 이는 전문가에게 접근을 허용함으로써 재배에 관한 지원이 가능하도록 하였다. 데이터 베이스 시스템으로 연계하여 온실환경 정보를 분석하는 것이 가능하였다. 3. 기대효과 및 나아가야 할 방향 -개발된 시스템을 식물 공장 내 작물의 재배환경을 데이터베이스화하여 재배사례 데이터베이스를 형성하고 작물이 가장 잘 자라는 최적 재배 환경을 연구하여 고품질의 작물 재배에 이용될 수 있다. 또한 식물공장의 운전실적, 환경 조건, 환경 조절비용 등의 분석에 효율적으로 이용될 수 있을 것으로 예상되며 각 환경인자들과의 관계를 구명하는데 도움을 줄 것이다. 축적된 작물의 재배 사례 데이터베이스를 이용하여 작물 특성 및 재배 연구에 도움을 줄 수 있을 것이다. 제어 장치들의 운영실적을 분석함으로써 제어 시스템의 효율적이고 경제적인 제어가 가능하도록 할 수 있을 것이다. 이들이 모두 완성되면 전문가 및 전문가 시스템으로부터 지원을 받는 지능형 식물공장이 가능할 것이다. 본 연구에서 개발한 계측 모듈 및 데이터베이스 시스템은 실제 농가에 설치된 전용선을 이용하여 실증 실험을 통해 수정·보완하여야 할 것이다. 또한 시설원예분야에서 있어서 통신체계에 대한 표준화 연구가 수행되어 앞으로 개발될 다른 시스템들과의 호환성을 갖도록 해야 할 것이다. 앞으로 온실의 경영 및 관리 데이터베이스를 개발하여 첨단온실의 통합 관리 및 정보 시스템을 구축하여야 할 것이다. 또한, 시설원예의 환경 설계의 기준을 적용할 수 있도록 하여야 할 것이다.
