Developmental Difference in Metacognitive Accuracy between High School Students and College Students (메타인지 정확성의 발달 차이 연구: 고등학생과 대학생 데이터)

  • Metacognitive monitoring refers to high dimensional cognitive activities. Understanding one's own cognitive processes accurately can make effective controls for their performance. Brain area related with metacognition is PFC which is completed the order of late and it can be inferred that monitoring abilities is developing during late adolescent. In this study, we explored the developmental difference in monitoring accuracy between high school students and college students using by measuring JOL(Judgment of Learning). Participants was asked that they study Spanish-Korean word pairs and judge their future performance of memory. In the result, people in both groups thought that they could remember word pairs better than their actual performance. Absolute bias scores which mean the degree to predict their performance apart from true scores showed the interaction between subject groups and task difficulty. Specifically, people judged their learning state quite accurately in easy task condition. However, in difficult task condition, both groups showed inaccuracy for predicting their learning and the magnitude of the degree was bigger in the group of high school students.

  • 정보검색 기술의 발달과 더불어 검색에 대한 사용자의 요구사항이 다양해지고 있다. 특히, 스마트TV와 같은 장치에서 동영상 콘텐츠를 검색하는데 있어서 콘텐츠의 타이틀과 같은 정형 메타데이터를 이용한 검색뿐만 아니라, 콘텐츠 주제와 같은 비정형 메타데이터를 이용한 검색도 요구되고 있다. 이러한 검색 요구사항을 수용하기 위해서는 주제와 같은 비정형 메타데이터가 구축되어 있어야만 가능하다. 콘텐츠의 주제는 사람의 이해와 분석을 통해서 수작업으로 구축 가능하다. 본 논문에서는 수작업만으로 구축 가능한 콘텐츠의 주제를 기계학습을 기반으로 자동화 할 수 있는 기법을 제안하고, 제안한 기법의 실험을 통하여 타당성을 검증한다.

A Study on the analysis of Chinese metaverse status (중국 메타버스 산업정책 현황 분석에 관한 연구)

  • It raises questions about how China, dominated by the socialist system and the Communist Party, will change in the era of artificial intelligence. We predict how the Chinese socialist system will change in the meta-world where SNS is developed, communication is conducted within the meta-verse world, and artificial intelligence is operating in many fields. In order to do so, it is necessary to understand the characteristics of the Chinese state and the characteristics of national policy, as well as the metaverse policy proposed by the Chinese state. The development of the metaverse was emphasized at the 5th session of the 13th National People's Congress in 2022, and in May of that year, the Central Party School of the Communist Party of China published the <Metaverse Industry Manual for Party and Political Officials>. Therefore, in this paper, we will analyze China's metaverse policy and forecast the direction of development of the metaverse industry that China wants to pursue.

  • With the 4th Industrial Revolution and the development of technology, markets of the VR&AR have increased. Also due to COVID-19 pandemic, demands for a digital environment were required because of physical space constraints. Firms are trying to solve this problem by using Metaverse platforms. However, with markets such as Metaverse, VR, AR, and Digital Twins are expanding, prior research on Metaverse definition or classification system is insufficient. Based on understanding VR&AR, Digital Twin, this study established a Industry-Service classification for Metaverse by defining Case studies on Metaverse and through prior research. And by Industry-Service classification for Metaverse this paper propose Metaverse Industry-Service Matrix to analyze the trend and possibility of Metaverse Platform

  • 오늘날 제 7차 교육과정은 학습자의 사고과정과 능력을 다양한 평가방식으로 실시하도록 권유하고 있다. 이러한 목적을 구현하기 위하여 수학과 평가는 교수-학습에 유용한 평가, 과정 중심의 평가, 다양한 방법을 활용하는 평가가 되어야 할 것이다. 이는 학습자로 하여금 스스로 학습하도록 가정하는 인식론적 변화에 바탕을 둔 최근의 평가 동향과 맥을 같이 하고 있다. 평가에서 학생의 수학활동 역시 특히 인지적 영역의 다양성을 지닌 개인에 의하여 이루어지기 때문에 수학 평가는 단편적인 정형화된 지식이 아닌 문제 해결의 전략이나 발견술과 같은 요소에서 강조되고 있는 비정형의 문제들을 통한 메타인지적인 발달과정을 고려해야 한다. 본 연구에서는 학생이 준개방형 평가문제를 해결하는 과정을 통해 자신이 얼마나 알고 있는가를 인식하며 자신의 문제 해결 전략을 점검하고 평가하는 인지적 능력에서 일어나는 변화를 알아보는 데 그 목적이 있다. 지금 현재 연구가 진행 중이며 본 연구의 결과는 다음 논문집에 발표할 예정이다.

The Effect of EPL Programming Loaming on Logical Thinking Ability by the Meta-Cognition Level (메타인지 수준에 따른 EPL 프로그래밍 학습이 논리적 사고에 미치는 영향)

  • There has been insufficient studies on the effect of programming language learning on logical thinking ability. Each study result on the improvement degree and items of logical thinking ability is different according to the object of the study, its method, and the learning subject, which makes the generalization process difficult. Moreover, the necessity of programming language learning seems not proved, because it is not apparent whether the improvement of logical thinking ability is due to the advancement of knowledge or programming language learning. In this study, we instructed educational programming languages to elementary students in 6th grade for 7 hours, investigated its effect on logical-thinking ability by the meta-cognition level, and compared the result with that of computer skill learning. As a result, for Dolittle, LOGO, and Powerpoint learning groups, the logical-thinking ability of high meta-cognition level students has increased with significance, but that of low meta-cognition level students has significantly increased for Dolittle and LOGO groups only. However, regardless of meta-cognition levels, there was no significant difference of logical-thinking ability between all three groups.

  • Recently, with the development of virtual and augmented reality technology, metaverse is emerging as a new paradigm that will lead the next-generation internet era, and social and economic activities are spreading around the game, entertainment, music, and content industries. Moreover, as non-face-to-face conversion accelerated after the outbreak of COVID-19, lifestyles and industrial sites are becoming untact and further rapidly becoming a metaverse. In particular, the application of metaverse to the education field is attracting attention because realistic classes using real-time voice conversations using avatars, 3D objects, and 360-degree images can increase immersion and overcome the limitations of distance education. This study examines the concept of metaverse and examines that education using metaverse can be an alternative that can increase the efficiency of education in the non-face-to-face era. In particular, it shows that it is effective in language education and suggests an actual metaverse-based Korea language education program.

Analysis of Knowledge and Competency for the Fourth Industrial Revolution Based on Anderson's Revision of Bloom's Taxonomy: Focused on Achievement Standard in the 2015 revised Practical Arts(Technology·Home Economics) (Bloom의 신교육목표 분류체계에 기초한 4차 산업혁명 시대에 요구하는 지식과 역량 분석: 2015 개정 실과(기술·가정) 교육과정의 가정과 성취기준을 대상으로)

  • This study has attempted to analyze the achievement standards in the 2015 revised curriculum, based on the revision of Bloom's Taxonomy and aims to identify the knowledge and required competencies in the fourth industrial era. The results of this study are as follows: First, the knowledge dimensions was the highest 'metacognitive knowledge' in middle school, while 'factual knowledge' was the highest in high school, and 'knowledge of specific details and elements' was the highest subtype of all of the knowledge dimensions. The dimensions of the cognitive process, such as the terms 'apply' and 'analyze' in middle school, as 'understand' and 'evaluate' in high school have been treated inattentively. Second, the knowledge dimension and the cognitive process dimension according to key concepts display the metacognitive knowledge and 'understand' in development, the conceptual knowledge and 'understand' in relationship. While the 'metacognitive knowledge' and 'apply' in life culture, the 'procedural knowledge' and 'evaluate' in safety, the 'factual knowledge' and 'apply' in management and the 'metacognitive knowledge' and 'understand' in life design were extremely high. Third, the verbs used in the achievement standards displayed as 'explore', 'understand', 'analyze', 'practice', 'suggest', 'recognize' and 'evaluate'. Since the statement of the action verb is the very basis for determining the performance process, specific competencies may be achieved by reflecting on the actual achievement standards. These standards should provide us with a effective cognitive process for to understand a learner's performance skills and support the direction of the education required, through a strategy that refines the connection between content elements and functions and develop their competences for the future.

  • 휴대전화는 용도적인 측면에서 PC와 유사해 지고 있으며 네트워크 기술의 발달로 다 수의 파일들을 다룰 수 있을 것으로 전망되고 있다. 그러나 휴대전화는 PC와는 다른UI특징을 가지고 있으며 이러한 차이는 다 수 파일의 관리나 이와 관련된 복잡한 태스크 수행 시 문제점이 예상된다. 본 연구는 사용자의 선험적 지식을 바탕으로 휴대전화의 UI특징에 적합한 효용성 있는 파일관리 UI가 무엇인지 알아보는 것에 목적이 있다. 이에 따라 사용자의 선험적 지식이 있는 윈도우탐색기의 사용행태 조사를 통해 자주 수행하는 태스크와 메타포어를 분석하여 휴대전화와 비교, 문제점 과 해결방안을 도출하였다. 이를 바탕으로 프로토타입을 제작하여 사용자 평가를 통해 가로방향의 페이지 분할 방식과 * 또는 #키와의 중복을 활용한 단축키 제공, 일괄적인 옵션 메뉴의 제공은 사용자가 익숙해져 있는 4방향 네비게이션 키와 12 숫자 키패드를 입력장치로 사용하는 휴대전화에서 파일관리 시 효용성이 있음을 알 수 있었다.

  • The Request of the information exchange is increasing because of the advanced rapid science and technology. But a different system environment has occurred many problems on the information exchange. The information exchange on based XML is a solution to the problem. It takes effect in the standard document management application that is make standard document to cooperate with many researchers mutually.
