A Study on Implementation of XML/KORMARC System (XML/KORMARC 시스템 구현에 관한 연구)

  • KORMARC used in library bibliographic information, had been pointed several weaknesses such as inflexibility lack of link information and compatibility. In addition, a sudden increase in digital information associated with development of internet is demanding an integration of web resources metadata as the resource of library information. This study mentioned XML/KORAMARC system or adaption of XML standard format turned out to be the most efficient way to use KORMARC formats and to expand the range of those information service such as bibliographic information, factual information, referral information and full-text.

  • The OAI(Open Archives Initiative) is an evolving protocol and philosophy regarding interoperability for digital libraries. This protocol has its roots in an effort to enhance access to digital libraries as a means of increasing the availability of scholarship communication. Thus, this research outlines the history of the OAI protocol, the basic model of SP(service provider)/DP(data provider), and the prerequisites to implement the OAI protocol. Viewed in this light, this paper also describes the experiences of KERIS project of SP/DP model and lists the differences between prerequisites and KERIS case.

  • 멀티미디어 데이터의 증가에 따른 효과적인 분류 및 검색 작업의 필요성 때문에 멀티미디어 데이터가 가지는 내용을 구조적이고 효율적으로 표현할 수 있는 체계적인 표현기술 구조가 요구된다. MPEG-7은 이러한 요구사항을 지원하기 위한 것이며, 멀티미디어 데이터의 메타 정보들을 MPEG-7 표준에 적합하게 입력하기 위한 방법이 필요하게 되었다. 본 논문에서는 MPEG-7 데이터를 효율적으로 작성할 수 있는 MPEG-7 저작도구를 설계하고 구현하였다.

  • As technology advances, various applications linked to the music industry are becoming popular through new media. There have been many changes in the music market. Beyond the existing music market, where music copyright and performance rights were the center of the music business, we are unifying and operating communication channels that connect artists and fans, such as investment products derived from music copyrights. The technology that connects the fandom with additional business digital content has transformed into global platforms such as HYBE Entertainment's and YG Entertainment's Weverse, as well as SM Entertainment's Bubble. In addition, various national support projects to build a 5G MEC (MobileEdge Computing) environment to quickly respond to the rapidly changing 5G industry ecosystem are supporting for the immersive content demonstration, immersive content testing, and technical analysis, we are laying the groundwork to efficiently respond to the ever-expanding metaverse content market. Technology is changing dramatically. Therefore, we would like to study to changes in the music market brought about by technology and suggest strategies for a new era in the music business.

  • Most information providers are offering integrated retrieval service based on the bibliographic metadata and schema corresponding to each type of document which are developed in a distributed and independent way. However, it is difficult to maintain the relational consistency of those single heterogeneous databases even though they obey the metadata standard like MARC or MODS. It is the main reason that those standards are restricted to present the general property of document regardless of its type and not to applied to define the relationship of document types. Therefore, It is necessary to define a comprehensive meta model to associate the related databases in a systematic way so that the semantically common part of them can be easily shared and reused without any additional effort like conversion or mapping. In this paper, we first outline the document types for designing meta model by the empirical analysis of various data schema of main information providers. We propose then data element definition, metadata model and modularized XML DTD which support the efficient and consistent management of multiple ducument types.

  • As Internet and network technologies have been developed, e-commerces are getting more complex and more various. This paper, for meta-data and data exchange between heterogeneous database systems, uses XML schema proposed in W3C, and XML schema can present meta-data and data of relational database system as XML document format which is structural. It supports various primitive data formats, so that it uses the structure which reflects adequately data formats which relational database system offered. However, current e-commerces use heterogeneous platforms, so difficulties that is mutual interchange and management exist. For the solution for these problems, a standard ontology which defines relations of product classifications and the standard of property expression and the location ontology which offers e-commerce's information about products are constructed. Applying these ontology information to search system, by offering information which customers need efficient search is performed. Combining these ontologies and product classification category information, called XMDR, this XMDR is introduced into product search system, so this paper proposes to construct ontology server method for efficient search.

  • One More Pumpkin won the grand prize at the 2023 Dubai International AI Film Festival, and new possibilities were also opened through the International AI and Metaverse Film Festival (GAMFF), which was held for the first time in Korea. Generative works began to stand out in earnest, with 527 diverse works from 42 countries at home and abroad using AI and metaverse technology submitted to this contest. AI is being used in a variety of fields, including the creation and implementation of digital characters through combination with VFX, improving the efficiency of video production, and managing the overall video production process. This contributes to saving human and material resources required for production and significantly improving the quality of produced videos. However, generative AI also has ambiguity in copyright attribution, ethical issues inherent in the learned dataset, and technical limitations that fall short of the level of human emotion and creativity. Accordingly, this study suggests implications at the level of production, screening, and use, as generative AI may have an impact in more areas in the future.

Study on Recycling Technology of Waste Artificial Marble using Starch (전분을 이용한 폐인조대리석의 재활용 기술에 관한 연구)

  • The pyrolysis has been universally applied to recycle the waste artificial marble. However, the existing heat treatment equipment has relatively low heat transfer efficiency into the inner part of the waste artificial marble. Besides, it leads to unnecessary excessive gas during the partial carbonization of the polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) and raises the risk of fire due to heat at an extremely high temperature. This study suggests the process of pyrolysis at the formation state after adding the starch to waste artificial marble to overcome above-mentioned problems. As the result of experiments, this method showed that the pyrolysis of waste artificial marble was greatly improved at comparatively low temperature condition of $350^{\circ}C$. Moreover, it also manifested the effect on securing the stability and energy savings necessary for the recovery of methyl methacrylate (MMA) and ${\alpha}$-alumina (${\alpha}-Al_2O_3$).

  • 온톨로지는 사람들 간의 정확한 의사소통을 가능하게 하고 시스템 사이의 상호운용성을 달성하기 위한 도구로서 다양한 분야에서 많은 기대를 받고 있는 기술이다. 온톨로지의 구축은 기존 온톨로지들간의 통합을 통해 더욱 효율적으로 이루어질 수 있다. 그러나 기존 온톨로지들이 표현 언어, 대상 도메인, 온톨로지 구성요소 등의 측면에서 다양한 형태와 특성을 가지므로, 온톨로지 통합이 이루어지기 위해서는 온톨로지들 간의 상호운용성의 확보가 필수적이다. 본 논문에서는 온톨로지를 분류하는 체계적인 프레임워크의 제공을 통해 온톨로지들 간의 상호운용성 확보를 지원하는 온톨로지 아키텍처를 제안한다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 온톨로지 아키텍처는 온톨로지를 바라보는 3가지 관점에 따라 MDA에 기반한 온톨로지 표현 분류축, 시맨틱 도메인 분류축, 온톨로지 구성요소 분류축의 3개 분류축으로 이루어져 있으며, MDA의 4계층 메타모델링을 문법적인 기반으로 하고 있다. 온톨로지 아키텍처의 3개의 분류축은 온톨로지들 간의 문법적인 상호운용성과 의미적인 상호운용성을 향상시키기 위해 조화롭게 설계됨으로써 온톨로지 통합이 유연하게 이루어지도록 지원한다.

  • 컴퓨터와 인터넷 사용의 대중화 시대가 열리면서 소프트웨어의 구조도 점차 복잡해짐은 물론 크기도 방대해지고 있으나 S/W 개발 기술 발전 속도는 매우 더디어 소프트웨어 개발과 유지보수 비용의 증가로 인해 소프트웨어 위기 문제가 발생하게 되었다. 이에 대한 대안으로 소프트웨어 생산성, 품질, 효율성을 높이기 위해서 부품화와 조립의 특성을 지닌 컴포넌트 기반 개발 방법이 제시되었다. 컴포넌트 명세에 있어 기존에 이미 많은 명세 언어가 사용되고 있으며, 이들은 나름대로의 장점을 가지고 있으나, 이들은 대부분 구현에 있어 특정 언어에 의존성이 강하며, 표현 능력에 한계를 가지고 있다. 이러한 한계를 해결하기 위해 문제 요구사항에 대한 설명, 컴포넌트의 기능, 그리고 컴포넌트 구조에 대한 명확한 정의를 제공하는 정형화된 명세 언어에 대한 연구가 현재 이루어지고 있으나, 대부분이 컴포넌트 명세 기법에 대한 표준이 없고, 명세서에 대한 데이터 모델링 방법 및 표현언어에 대한 기준이 없이 컴포넌트의 구문적 측면만을 고려한 개발을 하고 있는 실정이다. 본 논문에서는 컴포넌트 명세서를 규격화하고 규격화된 명세서를 표준 메타 언어인 XML 기반으로 모델링 하고자 한다.
