Formatively and artistically aspect, a hybrid can be said to be a phenomenon in which two mutually different genres are combined. Make-up is thought to be very important to arrange the foundation available for predicting and pursuing a flow and direction of future hybrid make-up based on this, by analyzing a flow centering on hybrid trend, which was shown previously. In terms of objectives of this study, the first, aim is to suggest a model for researching make-up by grasping the developmental process and the characteristics of hybrid art through considering an art theory of hybridity, shown in make-up. The second, aim is to design make-up by analyzing trends in make-up style after deconstructing the hybrid genre. The modern make-up design through genre-deconstruction characteristics beyond diverse plurality and genre could be known to be highlighted as aesthetic characteristic by a slight attempt as communication of open space, which connects culture and genre, which had failed to be recognized and was neglected. Empirical research has, produced a work by systematically arranging make-up design. This study, identifies two kind of barrier demolition, such as the class deconstruction and the temporal, spatial disorder centering on genre deconstruction of hybrid. There are infinite possibilities in developing make-up design in line with modern sensation through aesthetic element and symbolic significance through genre deconstruction. It was the expression mode in future make-up, to providing basic data, and to strengthening competitive edge of culture and art.

한국의 미적가치는 한국적인 소재를 이용한 디자인의 활용을 통해 다양한 분야에서 상승되고 있다. 한국적인 소재는 동양적인 사상을 내포하고 있으며 그 형태의 독특함으로 인해 디자인 개발의 소재로 많이 이용되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 한국적인 소재를 이용한 네일 작품을 제작함으로써 네일아트 산업 현장에서 필요로 하는 차별성이 있는 네일아트 디자인의 기초자료를 제시함을 목적으로 한다. 본 연구는 네일아트 디자인 개발을 위해 네일아트와 사군자 특성에 대해 이론적으로 고찰하였고, 수묵화를 모티브로 한 사군자를 이용한 한국적이면서도 개성 있는 네일아트 디자인작품을 제작하였다. 매화, 난초, 국화, 대나무를 소재로 하여 그 의미와 이미지에 어울리는 색채, 질감, 형태의 디자인 요소를 적용하고 핸드페인팅기법과 오브제 기법을 이용하여 현대적인 디자인의 네 작품이 제작되었다. 본 연구는 네일아트와 사군자의 통합연구로 한국문화를 드러내는 창의적인 네일아트 디자인 개발의 토대를 마련하는데 의의가 있다고 사료된다.

본 연구는 사이키델릭의 미적 특성을 모티브로 한 아트마스크를 제작함으로써 감각적이고 창의적인 아트마스크 디자인 개발에 방향성을 제시하고자 한다. 선행연구와 전문서적, 예술작품 등을 중심으로 사이키 델릭의 개념 정의와 특성을 고찰하였다. 이론연구를 바탕으로 한 사이키델릭의 미적특성은 연구자의 작품 제작에 많이 사용되고 있는 착시성, 추상성, 유희성, 역동성으로 제한하여 살펴보았고, 이를 아트마스크 디자인에 접목하여 연구작품 4점을 제작하였다. 본 연구를 통해 형식이나 전통에 구애받지 않는 작품의 다양화를 시도함으로써 아트마스크의 무한한 창작을 가능하게 하고 현대적인 새로운 미로 승화 시킬 수 있었다. 또한 사이키델릭의 외적 특성과 함께 내적인 의미를 작품디자인에 표현함으로써 아트마스크에 대한 새로운 인식과 가치관의 성립을 가져오게 하였다. 향후 이와 같은 연구가 아트마스크 디자인 관련 후속 연구의 기초자료로 활용되기를 기대해 보며 아트마스크 디자인 개발에 도움이 되길 바란다.

Man's search for beauty has been going on from prehistoric time until today, and the pursuit of beauty has been progressing, regardless of the times, as a human psychological desire. In the search for beauty, hair and make-up have been subjects of interest for a long time, but the development of designs for these two aspects are still behind compared to other areas. Therefore, this study aims to propose various new and creative hair and make-up designs and to suggest their possible development. Using existing literature, this paper studied the skin color and hair color of Koreans that had been studied in earlier papers. It also aimed to understand the hair color and hair color images that are suitable for each skin color, classify the modern hair and make-up trends into different images - natural, surrealistic, minimalist, and cyber look, and also analyze them. Actual hair and make-up were also designed based on these images. To depict the natural image, the make-up was made intentionally dark as the skin color; natural materials were used for hair decoration; brown and yellow were used for the eye shadow to express the natural and romantic image of autumn, in general. Second, in the work expressing the surrealistic image, the hair was creatively decorated with a collage of various objects; yellow, green, and red eye shadows and lip expression were used to visually achieve the surrealistic fantasy look. Thirdly, in the work expressing the minimalist image, hair style with bangs without any hair decoration was used; make-up colors were minimized as well, creating a generally simple image. Finally, for the work expressing the cyber image, metallic material decoration was used on a puff-up hair style; the cyber image was emphasized through the use of graphical elements in the make-up.

The purpose of this study was to research into TV makeup types focusing on Korean aesthetics with recognizing importance of Korean thought amid what the global interest pays attention to South Korea thanks to the recent influence of Hanryu(Korean wave). The following are summary and result of this study. The non-dual beauty is an integrative concept of including ambivalence on the categorical difference in sex, culture and class by transcending the extreme binary division. As this is what reflected the open thought of pursuing balance of yin and yang in Korean people, it is being shown in the form of transcendence and far-outness through TV entertainment programs. Transcendence coexisted with maintaining relative relationship beyond separation in sex. Far-outness was pursuing free sensitivity immanent in the non-separated thought of transcending the past, the present and future. This trend is being indicated similarly to a change in its paradigm from separation to convergence these days. Accordingly, even makeup was showing similarity to the recent trend with being paid attention to the makeup of focusing on identity in sex and to the makeup of being coexisted the past, the present and future with the aspect of being mixed space time. The Korean aesthetics has been feeble in its influence compared to the Oriental image of focusing on China and Japan in the meantime. Hence, this study can be said to have significance in a sense of being the first consideration that compared TV makeup types of focusing on Korean aesthetics and suggested its developmental direction.

The Purpose of this study was to investigate research trends of subject matter in fashion design aesthetic field in clothing and textiles and to suggest the information for the future directions for fashion business and research. 1089 articles with clothing and textiles subject matter, 523 articles with fashion design aesthetic field in the Journal of Korean Society of Costume from 2001 through 2010 were analyzed. The major conclusions of the study are as the following: 1. Fashion design aesthetic field took absolute majority in the researches of the clothing and textiles in the Journal of Korean Society of Costume, in the 2000s. 2. Fashion design aesthetic field showed more proportions in the latter half of the decade. 3. History of costume, fashion marketing field were followed. Textiles science field took extremely little proportion. 4. In fashion design aesthetic field, topic of fashion design elements and types took absolute majority. 5. Fashion aesthetics, fashion design development, makeup hair style topics were followed.

The purpose of this study is to reveal that the deconstructive dis de phenomenon in contemporary fashion beauty design can be interpreted from the viewpoint of Korean aesthetics by having an open mind of coexistence. The typical characteristics of dis de phenomenon are decomposition, decentralization, and discontinuity, and these can be compared with beauty of non-artificialness, unity, and humor, which are characteristics of Korean aesthetics. In other words, the dis de-phenomenon rejects traditional composition and uniformized expression, and seeks various images by accepting the bi-national confrontation concept, this is similar to Korean aesthetics, which experienced atypical diversity by concentrating on the inner spirit rather than the outer form through indifference to technique, form, and honest human emotion.

패션산업의 디지털 혁신을 배경으로 한 본 연구는 소셜 미디어를 통해 이미 전 세계 많은 사용자들을 확보하며 패션산업에까지 영향을 미친 디지털 기반의 페이스디자인에 대하여 연구하였다. 이에 증강현실 기반의 디지털 페이스디자인의 대표적 사례들을 유형화하고 이를 관통하는 지향 가치를 도출함으로써 향후 패션산업의 전개 방향에 대한 미래 비전을 제시하고자 하는 목적을 갖는다. 인스타그램과 페이스북을 통해 대중에게 디지털 필터 기반의 페이스디자인을 제공하는 3D 디자이너 작품들을 연구대상으로 분석하였다. 사례 탐색을 통해 현대패션의 관점에서 디지털 페이스디자인의 지향 가치를 관찰한 결과 실험적 조형 지향, 유희적 경험 지향, 미래적 기술 지향 등의 세 가지 경향이 도출되었다. 본 연구는 디지털 기반의 페이스디자인으로 범위를 한정한 것이나, 이를 통해 나타난 결론들은 패션의 전 분야에 적용될 수 있는 사항들이다. 이에 앞으로 페이스디자인의 범위를 넘어선 디지털 증강현실 기반의 패션디자인과 패션커뮤니케이션 관련의 새로운 현상에 대한 연구를 기대할 수 있다.

본 연구는 아르누보의 특성을 활용한 아트 마스크 디자인 제안이다. 선행연구를 바탕으로 아르누보의 특성을 곡선적 표현, 여성적 표현, 자연주의적 표현, 반복적 표현으로 분류하였으며 각 특성에 따라 아르누보의 대표화가 구스타프 클림트의 작품을 4점 선정하였다. 선정된 작품을 모티브로 아트 마스크에 리디자인하였으며 작품 제작에 따른 결과로는 첫째, 아르누보의 특성을 아트 마스크에 디자인 할 수 있는 가능성과 방법론을 모색하였다. 둘째, 아트 마스크에 표현될 수 있는 범위와 방식을 넓혀 다양한 소재에 따른 접근성을 높였다. 셋째, 아트 마스크와 미술사조의 융합은 아트 마스크의 작업 조건에 충분했다. 이러한 연구결과를 토대로 향후 아트 마스크에 표현될 수 있는 소재가 무궁무진해지길 바라며 메이크업 분야로서 아트 마스크의 위상이 더욱 높아지길 기대해본다.

본 연구는 아브젝시옹 개념의 특성을 모티브로 한 아트마스크를 제작함으로써 아트마스크 디자인 개발에 방향성을 제시하고 사람들의 라이프케어에 도움이 되고자 한다. 선행연구와 전문서적, 예술작품 등을 중심으로 아브젝트와 아브젝시옹의 개념 정의와 특성을 고찰하였다. 이론연구를 바탕으로 한 아브젝 시옹의 특성은 이상적 미의 기준 해체, 파편화된 신체표현, 병들고 소외된 신체표현, 부패한 시체와 해골로 죽음을 표현하는 것이다. 본 연구자는 추하고 혐오스러운 아브젝트가 유발하는 매혹적인 아브젝시옹을 디자인적 요소에 접목하여 연구 작품 6점을 제작하였다. 본 작품은 얼굴 형태의 각 부분을 절단과 해체로 파편화 시키고, 그로테스크한 변형을 주어 보는 이로 하여금 아브젝시옹을 느끼게 하였다. 연구 작품을 통해 얻은 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 아브젝시옹 특성을 응용한 작품은 사람들에게 아브젝시옹을 느끼게 함으로써 정신적인 스트레스와 상처에 긍정적인 승화작용을 유도하여 정신적인 스트레스 해소와 상처 치유에 도움을 주는 도구로 사용되었다. 둘째, 아브젝시옹 특성을 바탕으로 작품을 제작함으로서 아트마스크 디자인 구상의 범위가 확대되고, 디자인 발상을 새롭게 구축하는 계기가 되었다. 셋째, 아브젝시옹 특성을 응용한 모티브를 아트마스크 디자인에 적용한 결과 다양한 오브제 사용으로 창의적인 디자인 표현이 가능하였고, 재료 사용에 다양성을 확보하였다. 향후 이와 같은 연구가 아트마스크 디자인 관련 후속연구의 기초자료로 활용되기를 기대해 보며 아트마스크 디자인 개발에 도움이 되길 바란다.
