Points of sharp variations in image are the most important components when we analyze the features of image. And they include a variety of information about image's shape and location etc. So a lot of researches for detecting edges have been continued. Edge detection operators which were used at the early stage of the research were to utilize relations among neighboring pixels. These methods detect edge at all boundaries, therefore they perform edge detection twice about curves below some width such as line-edge. In the meantime, wavelet transform which is presented as a new technique of signal processing field provides multiscale edge detection and is being applied widely in many fields that analyze edge-like characteristic. Therefore, in this paper we detected line-edge with new 2-D wavelet function which is independent of line's width.

MPEG 그룹에서는 현재, MPEG-A(IS0/1EC 23D00)라는 새로운 국제 표준에 대해서 활발하게 논의하고 있다. MPEG-A메서는 사용자가 멀티미디어 데이터를 더욱 효율적이고 편리하게 관리할 수 있도록 하기 위해, MAF(multimedia Application File format)라는 새로운 멀티미디어 파일 포맷을 제안하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 MPEG-A에서 제안하고 있는 MAF포맷을 기반으로 한 멀티미디어 검색 시스템이 가져야 할 요구사항들을 정의하고, 그 요구사항을 바탕으로 한 MAF 멀티미디어 검색 시스템을 설계하였다.

We propose a 3D modeling method for surface inspection of non-linear moving object. The laser lines reflect the surface curvature. We can acquire 3D surface information by analyzing projected laser lines on object. ill this paper, we use multi-line laser to make use of robust of single stripe method and high speed of single frame. Binarization and channel edge extraction method were used for robust laser line extraction. A new labeling method was used for laser line labeling. We acquired sink information between each 3D reconstructed frame by feature point matching, and registered each frame to one whole image. We verified the superiority of proposed method by applying it to container damage inspection system.

본 연구에서는 시스템 과부하로 인해 충분한 실행시간을 가지지 못한 태스크의 중간 결과도 수용 가능한 범위 내에서 인정하는 멀티미디어 응용을 위한 동적 태스크 스케줄링 알고리즘을 제안하며, 스케줄링 알고리즘의 시간 복잡도보다는 실행 오버헤드론 줄이는데 초점을 둔다. 시뮬레이션 결과 태스크 도착율과 스케줄링 윈도우 크기에 따라 스케줄링 성능이 달라 진다는 것을 확인하고, 적절한 스케줄링 윈도우 크기를 결정할 수 있는 방안에 대해 논의한다.

It becomes undeniable trends that offline shopping stores operate their own online shopping stores too. The multi-channel shopping stores like this allow consumers to have much choices to shop from either offline channel or online channel. This trend, however, also opens new research issues. Especially, we have found from literature survey that a new research model is necessary for more in-depth study of the consumer behavior analysis in the multi-channel trends like this, where those constructs such as offline trust, uncertainty, switching cost, and individual negative emotion are considered. It is noted, especially in the multi-channel environments, that uncertainty and switching cost need to be considered, and that individual tends to feel negative emotion much more. By relying on 406 valid questionnaires, we obtained empirical results such that switching cost and offline trust have a positive effect on continuance intention, and uncertainty tends to increase switching cost. Individual negative emotion also affects continuance intention significantly.

인터넷 미디어의 멀티미디어화 추세에 따라 W3C의 동기화 멀티미디어 워킹그룹(SYMM) [1]에서는 1998년 웹상에서의 멀티미디어 표현을 위한 XML 기반의 동기화 언어인 SMIL을 발표하였다. SMIL [2]은 순차관계()와 병렬관계() 및 이들의 중첩관계를 사용하여 미디어간의 시간적 동기화를 설정한다. 이에 따라 기존의 SMIL 저작 도구들은 구조 편집기를 통하여 엘리먼트간의 중첩관계를 직접 편집함으로써 멀티미디어 시나리오의 시간적 동기화 정보를 기술하도록 하고 있다. 하지만 구조 편집기는 SMIL에 중심적인 편집 방법으로써 엘리먼트간의 중첩이 심화될수록 사용자에게 혼돈을 가져온다. 본 논문은 사용자 중심적인 시간적 동기화 정보 기술방법을 제공하기 위한 연구에서 출발하였다. 즉, 시간 축을 기준으로 미디어간의 시간정보를 기술하는 타임라인 편집기를 제공함으로써 사용자는 보다 직관적으로 프리젠테이션 시나리오를 작성할 수 있다. 이때, 타임라인 정보는 SMIL 문서의 구조 정보와는 상이한 데이터모델을 사용하므로 이를 SMIL 구조 정보로 자동 변환하기 위한 변환과정이 필요하게 된다.

In this thesis, the interactive multimedia contents service system is proposed. The interactive multimedia contents service system which added the on-line merit on the off-line merit of CD-ROM title can transfer messages among users and update contents immediately. The Interactive multimedia contents service system which Integrated the CD-ROM title and Internet sonics is possible to use in on-line / off-line. The proposed system more improved the fault of CD-ROM title in the conventional main media, the search environment by using mutual correlation of the utilization and method of the Internet CD-ROM title.

본 연구에서는 클라이언트/서버 형태로 승용차 조립라인을 시뮬레이션한 컨베이어 시스템을 원격으로 제어하는 시스템을 설계하고 구현하였다. 클라이언트 시스템은 상황실에 위치하여 웹애플릿을 통하여 승용차 조립라인의 생산 현장을 영상 감시하고 필요시 제어 프로그램을 장착한 서버에게 컨베이어 제어 명령을 내린다. 또한 서버시스템에서 컨베이어 시스템을 통과하는 생산품 내역에 대한 데이터베이스 시스템을 유지 관리한다.
