Image signal processing is applied in different areas due to diffusion of smart phone, computer, multimedia etc. However, image most is damaged by impulse noise, and the need of denoising technology for improvement of image quality is coming to the fore. The existing methods for denoising such as mean filter and median filter, but they represent poor denoising. Therefore, the removes impulse noise, this paper proposed the modified mean filter algorithm using standard deviation, and as a simulation result, the proposed method showed excellent denoising capabilities to the existing methods.

Modern societies need image processing technology as mobile phones, computers and multimedia etc. are supplied, and image signal processing is now applied in many fields. However, images are damaged by impulse noise from various sources; to restore the damaged images from impulse noise standard median filter has been used as a typical method, but it makes errors at edge area lowering image quality. Therefore, in this paper average filter algorithm, in which mask is processed with multiple partition to remove impulse noise, is proposed. Simulation showed that the proposed method is superior in noise removal property to the existing ones.

At ubiquitous environment of the future, the platform that is mobile and suitable in such environment transmit and receive many data freely. In medical treatment field, medical device with advancement of the sensor and multimedia technique will develop as the household and hand-held device. So It will be developed as the health care device easily exchanging data to other devices and transmitting information of medical device to server. In this paper, currently the mobile platform based on the PXA255 such as a powerful microprocessor which connected the WLAN for guaranteeing a mobility and a speed transmits medical information to hospital server. It put an importance in providing the system for an efficient service.

As cellular network technologies continue to evolve, various network standards coexist in most CDMA-based cellular networks. This means that mobile device users access mobile services over different network bandwidths according to the users' positions or the mobile devices' network access capabilities. Such differences of network bandwidths cause big differences in service response times. To address this problem, we present a framework called CANS (Context-Aware framework for mobile Navigation Services), which takes into account the user's network profile to adapt the contents for CDRG(Centrally Determined Route Guidance) navigation services for cellular phones. To the best of the authors' knowledge, CANS is the first context-aware framework to make mobile navigation services more feasible. The experimental results under commercial CDMA network show that CANS is able to provide similar service response times regardless of type of wireless network to which users connect by adapting the contents to network bandwidths.

Due to the spread of mobile communication with the development of computer network, nowadays various types of multimedia data play an important role in many areas such as entertainments, culture contents, e-commerce or medical science. But for the real application of these data, the security in the course of saving or transferring them through the public network should be assured. In this sense, many encryption algorithm have been developed and utilized. Nonetheless, most of them have focused on the text data. So they may not be suitable to the multimedia application because of their large size and real time constraint. In this paper, a chaotic map has been employed to create a symmetric stream type of encryption scheme which may be applied to the digital images with a large amounts of data. Then an efficient algebraic encryption algorithm based on the elementary operations of the Boolean matrix and image data characteristics.

모바일 표준 플랫폼 WIPI(Wireless Internet Platform for interoperability)는 모바일 단말기에 탑재되어 응용프로그램을 실행할 수 있는 실행환경을 제공하는 국내 모바일 표준 플랫폼이다. 2002년부터 개발이 시작되어 현재 WIPI 2.0 규격을 탑재한 모바일 단말기가 출시된 상황이다. WIPI 2.0 규격은 PC연결 등의 표준 입출력, 폰카메라, 위치알림 기능, 보안통신 등의 서비스까지 규격화하고 있으며, 차기 버전에서는 휴대폰은 물론 휴대인터넷이나 위성 디지털멀티미디어방송(DMB) 단말기 플랫폼으로의 확장도 모색되는 등 발전가능성이 크다. 그러나 WIPI가 고려되지 않고 설계된 현재의 운영체제상에서 구현된 표준 플랫폼은 설계상 제한이 있으며, 미들웨어의 성격이 강하기 때문에 특정하드웨어와 운영체제에서의 WIPI 지원여부에 따라 응용 분야에 제약이 가해진다. 본 논문에서는 모바일 디바이스를 위한 연구개발을 목적으로 개발된 오픈소스기반 운영체제인 OpenOS의 커널수준에서 WIPI 표준 플랫폼의 HAL(Handset Adaptation Layer)과 WIPI-C 필수 API를 구현하여 성능의 개선과 표준 플랫폼을 위한 운영체제로의 발전 및 활용 가능성을 제시한다.

New communication environments such as USN, WiBro and RFID have been realized nowadays. Thus, in order to ensure security and privacy protection, various light-weight block ciphers, e.g., mCrypton, HIGHT, SEA and PRESENT, have been proposed. The block cipher mCrypton, which is a light-weight version of Crypton, is a 64-bit block cipher with three key size options (64 bits, 96 bits, 128 bits). In this paper we show that 8-round mCrypton with 128-bit key is vulnerable to related-key rectangle attack. It is the first known cryptanalytic result on mCrypton. We first describe how to construct two related-key truncated differentials on which 7-round related-key rectangle distinguisher is based and then exploit it to attack 8-round mCrypton. This attack requires $2^{45.5}$dada and $2^{45.5}$time complexities which is faster than exhaustive key search.

This paper is concerned with automatic telemetering system which reads the consumed quantity of electricity, gas, and piped water. The existing metering method such that a meterman visits households and directly reads meters can cause several problems, including violation of privacy and the possibility of criminal accident, as well the inefficiency in viewpoint of system operation and rate notification. In this paper, we propose a new automatic telemetering and rate notification system, in which the system reads several meters at remote locations and notifies the rates to the customer's cellular phone with short message service(SMS). The proposed system has been developed by using CDMA mobile communication modules and personal computers. This system can operate only with cellular communication network even without wired-internet facilities. In particular, the developed system can provide home security and convenience as well as cost reduction, and thus be applied to intelligent home networks.

90년대 중반부터 이동통신제품과 인터넷의 대중화에 의한 노트북 PC등 휴대용 멀티미디어제품의 수요 급증은 전자 제품의 소형화 및 복합화를 유도하였으며, 이러한 제품의 추세에 대응하기 위하여 세라믹 부품은 벌크 단품에서 적층형으로 급속하게 바뀌고 있다. 이러한 정보기기의 좀 더 낳은 생산성과 효율을 얻기 위해 소형화, 경량화 및 고기능화의 요구에 대응되는 공정으로서 부품의 표면실장기술이 80년대에 실용화되었고, 이에 따른 칩 부품의 수요도 급격히 증가하고 있다. 대표적인 칩부품중의 하나인 MLCC(Multi Layer Ceramic Capacotor)는 전자제품의 소형경량화 및 대량생산과 더불어 필수적이 수소동자로써 지금까지 그 성장세는 휴대폰과 컴퓨터생산의 빠른 증가에 EK라 매년 약 15% 정도로 증가하고 있으며, 앞으로 그 수요는 더욱더 등가 할 것이다. EH한 고용량 영역까지 용량대를 확장함으로써, 탄탈 및 알루미늄 전해콘덴서의 영역까지도 확대 형성될 것으로 예상되고 있다. 본 강연에서는 MLCC의 제조기술 동향과 시장에 대한 전망에 대해 소개함으로써, 하루가 다르게 발전하고 있는 전자산업의 고용량화, 초소형화, 특수품, 복합화 등의 적층부품 전반의 현황 및 발전방향 파악하는데 조금이라도 도움이 되고자 한다.

According as marine leisure industry has developed and the demand of leisure culture has increased rapidly, a desire about service which supply marine safety and connect marine information is enlarging. The performance of personal mobile device has improved and been evolved by composition terminal. So, it became possible that storage and expression of multimedia information as well as simple communication facility. Domestic wireless internet has given development strain to developer and contents Provider(CP) because of different platform. And this has become hindrance factor of wireless internet activation. But, recently, the use of WIPI(Wireless Internet Platform for Interoperability), the wireless internet standard platform, could use different wireless application programs and also guarantee the independency for hardware. We wish to develop contents of download form that supply geographic information of Electronic Navigational Chart(ENC) in the marine that is digitalized to carrying along terminal of WIPI base and various informations for marine leisure. For this, DB that offer ENC and additional information should be constructed. Also, we need server (CPS; Contents provider Server) that offer required contents. In this paper, we design web retrieval agent which store request information to database. When consumer required necessary information through personal mobile device, CPS can inform that by real time. So, we wish to develop agent component that parse informations in various World Wide Webs, and store to database.
