Factors Influencing Individual's Intention to Provide MyData: Focusing on the Moderating Effects of Individual Capabilities and Institutional Type (개인의 마이데이터 제공의도에 영향을 미치는 요인: 개인역량과 기관유형의 조절효과를 중심으로)

  • Recently, the MyData market has been growing as the importance of data and issues related to personal information protection have drawn much attention together. MyData refers to the concept of guaranteeing an individual's right to personal information and providing and utilizing one's data according to individual consent. MyData service providers can combine and analyze customer information to provide personalized services. In the early days, the MyData business was activated mainly by private companies and the financial industry, but recently, public institutions are also actively taking advantage of MyData. Meanwhile, the importance of an individual's intention to provide MyData for the success of MyData businesses continues to increase, but research related to this is lacking. Moreover, existing studies have been mainly conducted on individual benefits of MyData; there are not enough studies in which both public benefit and perceived risk factors are considered at the same time. In this regard, this study intends to derive factors affecting the intention to provide MyData based on the privacy calculus model, examine their influencing mechanism, and further verify the moderating effects of individual capabilities and institutional type. This study can find academic significance in that it expanded and demonstrated the privacy calculus model in the context of MyData providing intention. In addition, the results of this study are expected to offer practical guidelines for developing and managing new services in MyData businesses.

Conception of Self in Korea: Indigenous, Cultural and Psychological Analysis (한국인의 자기 인식에 나타난 토착문화심리 분석)

  • This study examines the conception of the self using indigenous, cultural and psychological analysis. The self is viewed from four aspects: (1) conception of the self as an entity (the self in general, the self as an unique entity and the self when alone), (2) conception of self in the context of family (the self when with mother, father, children and spouse), (3) the self with the context of close and working relationships (the self when with friends, teachers, work superior and work subordinate), and (4) the self in context of the larger society (the self when with strangers and foreigners). A total of 1,465 respondents (623 elementary, middle, high and university students and their parents = 842) completed an open-ended questionnaire developed by the present authors. The results reveal two patterns of results. First, the conception of self in Korea is influence by one's role. Second, the conception of self in influenced by relationship and context and there is an emphasis on the flexibility and adjustment of the self to relationship and context. Implications of the conception of the self in context of relationships, roles, and contexts are discussed, along with the importance of indigenous, cultural and psychological analysis.

A Comparison of 「Integrated Science」 and 「Converged Science」 of the 2015 Revised National Curriculum through Core Concepts (핵심 개념으로 비교한 2015 개정 교육과정의 「통합과학」과 「융합과학」)

  • This research compares the subjects of "Integrated Science" and "Converged Science" in the 2015 Revised National Curriculum, through core concepts. The content priorities and levels of integration of each core concept were evaluated through an analytical framework, and visualized using two-dimensional visualization matrix of the content priorities and the levels of integration. The results show that "Integrated Science" had fewer core concepts, higher in priorities and slightly lower levels of integration than "Converged Science". This can be an evidence that "Integrated Science" is excellent in rigor and not so much inferior in relevance. And also, through visualization of analysis results, the characteristics of integrated subjects could easily be understood and compared.

A Study on Humanities Programs in Public Libraries : Observations and Reflections (공공도서관 기반 인문학 프로그램에 대한 현상적 연구)

  • This study attempts to investigate the current situation, limitations and improvement strategies of humanities programs in public libraries. Specifically, this study also surveys such humanities programs open in public libraries and compared strengths and weaknesses of the programs. For the study the researcher participated in such humanities programs for the observation. For the interview, data were collected from public librarians who are in charge of such humanities programs. Supplementary data were also collected through qualitative interviews and brain-storming discussions with public librarians and program participants. For the suggestion, future strategies to improve the quality of such programs and to cope with changes of user demands and future trends, the researcher put the emphasis on the networking with local art/cultural communities, proactive marketing strategies, practical program management strategies, and program development on the basis of user needs.

A Study on the Application of Records Management Standards to Risk Management Framework (위험관리체계의 기록관리표준 적용방안 연구)

  • Owing to changing work environment and increasing uncertainty, risk management in records management area is becoming more important to secure work legitimacy and to increase the value of information for future. While risk factors in traditional records management were mainly focused on the preservation function, those in current records management were directly coupled with those of overall work processes which produce, distribute, and utilize records because information technologies make the relationship between works and records closer. This study proposes a set of risk management factors and strategies in records management based on the overall risk management framework of ISO 31000. Moreover, ARMA's works areas and NIST's systems areas were applied to form the risk management processes in records management, and ISO's records management standards were used to suggest the checklists for the processes in both areas, especially with ISO TR 26122 for work processes, and ISO 16175-3 for the context of records.

  • This study investigates the theoretical discourses about the principle of original order. It reviews the literature about the theory in the context of personal and family papers. The authors examine the practical application of the principle of original order in the case of the No Gun Ri archives. No Gun Ri collections started with the records that the Chung family's have accumulated and created. Without an understanding of the Chung family papers, it is extremely difficult to identify a way to arrange No Gun Ri reords. This paper analyzes the meaning and interpretation of the principle of original order to find a way to apply it to the No Gun Ri records.

  • This article attempts to propose the control planning of townscape color around the historic and cultural heritages. The streets and roads of historic conservation and the changing perspectives to which it gives rise in Stockholm has changed dramatically during this century. New development or changes to existing buildings should be carried out in a way which acknowledges its surroundings and is a good neighbour, both in the cultural and social sense that makes good color design sense. There are many examples of townscape color, but the conservative and the historical streets and roads in the whole of the Stockholm city should benefit from careful design of the environment. To achieve this purposes, some strategies of case study of several streets and roads are reviewed; designing color context to relate to urban architectural design proposals of specific sites of cultural heritages are explored. In all new developments the scale of new buildings and the material finishes and colors used should respect the character of their surroundings and have due regard to the setting of any listed building. Streetscape color of visual assessment proposals should aim to help assimilate the development into the local scene. Important streets and roads should also include color townscape.

Exploring the Nature of Argumentation in Science Education (과학교육에서 논의의 본성 탐색)

  • The purpose of this study is to explore the Nature of Argumentation in Science education (NAS). For this purpose, we collected previous studies conducted on the argumentation in science education, and then collected previous studies were analyzed to extract the overall characteristics of argumentation in science education. Based on the results, an expert review was conducted, then the nature of argumentation in science education was finally derived to a total of seven components: 'evidence based', 'linguistic interaction', 'context dependency', 'public decision-making', 'tentative agreement', 'methodological diversity', and 'enculturation of scientific culture'. Understanding the nature of argumentation in science education can promote the practice of argumentation in science learning. Therefore, further studies will be necessary to conduct research to expand and refine the nature of argumentation in science education in order to effectively practice it in science learning.

The Effect of Perceived Customer Value on Customer Satisfaction with Airline Services Using the BERTopic Model (BERTopic 모델을 이용한 항공사 서비스에서 지각된 고객가치가 고객 만족도에 미치는 영향 분석)

  • As the aviation industry has rapidly been grown, there are more factors for customers to consider when choosing an airline. In response, airlines are trying to increase customer value by providing high-quality services and differentiated experiential value. While early customer value research centered on utilitarian value, which is the trade-off between cost and benefit in terms of utility for products and services, the importance of experiential value has recently been emphasized. However, experiential value needs to be studied in a specific context that fully represents customer preferences because what constitutes customer value changes depending on the product or service context. In addition, customer value has an important influence on customers' decision-making, so it is necessary for airlines to accurately understand what constitutes customer value. In this study, we collected customer reviews and ratings from Skytrax, a website specializing in airlines, and utilized the BERTopic technique to derive factors of customer value. The results revealed nine factors that constitute customer value in airlines, and six of them are related to customer satisfaction. This study proposes a new methodology that enables a granular understanding of customer value and provides airlines with specific directions for improving service quality.

Study on Applicability of Nonproportional Model for Teaching Second Graders the Number Concept (초등학교 2학년 수 개념 지도를 위한 비비례모델의 적용 가능성 탐색)

  • This study started with wondering whether the nonproportional model used in unit assessment for 2nd graders is appropriate or not for them. This study aims to explore the applicability of the nonproportional model to 2nd graders when they learn about numbers. To achieve this goal, we analyzed elementary mathematics textbooks, applied two kinds of tests to 2nd graders who have learned three-digit numbers by using the proportional model, and investigated their cognitive characteristics by interview. The results show that using the nonproportional model in the initial stages of 2nd grade can cause some didactical problems. Firstly, the nonproportional models were presented only in unit assessment without any learning activity with them in the 2nd grade textbook. Secondly, the size of each nonproportional model wasn't written on itself when it was presented. Thirdly, it was the most difficult type of nonproportional models that was introduced in the initial stages related to the nonproportional models. Fourthly, 2nd graders tend to have a great difficulty understanding the relationship of nonproportional models and to recognize the nonproportional model on the basis of the concept of place value. Finally, the question about the relationship between nonproportional models sticks to the context of multiplication, without considering the context of addition which is familiar to the students.
