The purpose of this study is to analyze the relation between regional identity and national identity in a regional textbook in Korea. In geography education, regional textbooks are curriculum materials which represent regional identity based on territorial difference from other regions. In local curriculum level, the harmony between national unity and regional identity is to be pursued as educational objective. However, this harmony appears to be distorted in the school textbook in Je-Ju Province, a case region. For example, Confucian cultural landscapes are represented as otherness in regional discourses, but togetherness in the regional textbook. Also, the regional textbook implies that the boundary of external territorialization is mainly not regions but nations, and it seems to intend that leasers get a sense of place towards their region as periphery of nation. Therefore, we argue that regional identity, which must be stressed in a regional textbook, is marginalized in a case region.

Internet GIS represents the GIS technique that, by integrating Internet and GIS technique, provides geographic information services through Internet environments, Internet GIS suggests that one can search and analyze spatial data through WWW under the dynamic client/ server computing environments, In this paper we introduce the development of a new address management system using GIS technique and a new address information system using Internet GIS, The new address system, which is based on stress name and building number along the street, is developed to complement the current address system which is based on cadastral system, The new address management system is developed for the management of address change due to establishment of roads, construction and destruction of buildings etc using a GIS, The new address information system presents the Internet GIS system which provides people with geographic and address information. By implementing the new address information system it is possible to share GIS data, increase the efficiency of implementation of GIS system, and maximize its usablity.

This case study is based on a fundamental class actually done in the film and video department in Sungkyul University. It aimed at suggesting supportive role for typical film production class in universities in Korea. The list of film styles mentioned in this text is selected from the actual ones for the class and it is focused on utilization of sound and camera. It is ultimately designed to guide students to actual making films. First of all, for example, with a humble camcoder, students are encouraged to record both image and his/her narration which is directly recorded into the built-in microphone. Also directional microphone could be used to experience various positions of 'point-of-hearing'. Regarding camera movements, only distinctive ones out of typical utilization are selected to be dealt with. The movements created by moving vehicle such as dolly or crane beyond the limit of human ability could bring up high imagination of students on movement, besides this could be also easily applied to them for using hand-held technique instead of vehicle. This attitude acquired through the course is important for gettig over the resistance they might have before actual experiencing machinary use in production.

This study focuses on the use of mathematics notes in elementary school mathematics classes as a way of practicing mathematical communication, which was introduced as one of the main themes in the 2007 Mathematical Curriculum Revision. We investigate, through interviews with teachers and questionnaires, why and how mathematics notes are used and what are included in them, finding out various aspects of the use of mathematics notes such as the purposes, the necessities and the types. We draw some helpful suggestions for using mathematics notes in classes which has positive effects such as enhancing students' mathematical thinking and calculation ability. This study is to provide teachers with an appropriate information and basic materials on the use of mathematics notes.

최근 위성영상의 해상도가 증가함에 따라, 하천을 대상으로 한 연구 사례가 많이 보고되고 있다. 하지만 대부분이 환경 생태학적 분야에서 이루어진 연구 결과들이고, 수자원 관리 분야에서의 위성영상 활용 사례는 아직 그 예를 찾아보기가 어렵다. 갑천은 1988년 이후 급속도로 도시화가 진행되어 현재는 잘 정비되어 있는 전형적인 도시하천의 모습을 갖추고 있다. 그러나 아직까지 하천 내에는 많은 양의 초지나 사주가 분포하고 있으며, 이러한 초지나 사주의 존재는 자연형 하천으로서의 역할을 담당하지만 이수 및 치수차원에서는 많은 양의 저수량 손실을 야기하는 문제도 함께 공존해 있다. 본 연구에서는 도시하천을 효율적으로 관리하기 위한 방안으로서 영상을 이용한 수자원 관리 기법을 제안하였다. 다시 말해 본 연구에서 수행한 "도시하천에서의 저수량 평가"는 보와 보사이의 흐름에 의한 유량변화가 전체 저수량에 크게 영향을 미치지 않는다는 가정 하에 다음의 세 단계로 이루어진다. 첫째, 현하천을 사주구역, 초지구역 및 그 외 구역으로 구분한다. 둘째, 현장조사를 실시하여 사주나 초지가 수면과 이루는 경사각을 조사하고, 적절한 통계적 기법을 이용하여 대상 하천의 대표 경사 값을 구한다. 또한 현장조사 시 사주나 초지로부터 충분히 떨어진 지점들의 수심을 측량하여 그 외 지역의 평균 수심을 구한다. 셋째, 영상을 해석할 수 있는 도구를 이용하여 구분된 각 구역의 면적을 계산한 후, 두 번째 단계에서 구한 경사각과 수심을 이용하여 저수량을 산정한다. 본 연구에서는 도시하천을 효율적으로 관리하기 위한 방안으로서 영상을 이용한 수자원 관리 기법을 제안하였다. 특히 도시하천에서의 저수량 산정을 위한 기초연구로서 사주 및 초지가 수면과 이루는 방위별 경사각을 조사하였으며, 그 결과를 분석하여 사주와 초지 각각의 경우에 대한 거리와 수심 간의 회귀곡선식을 구하였다. 하지만 세 번째 단계인 "저수량 산정"은 영상의 확보가 어려워, 본 연구에서는 수행되지 못하였다. 향후, 대상지역 뿐만 아니라 전국 어느 곳이라도, 하루빨리 고해상도의 위성영상이 저가에 보급되어 지기를 기대한다.

Change in outdoor life style caused by expanded opportunities of leisure time and promotion of welfare for the people had a great influence m the activation of the environment maintenance project. Pleasant and prosperous city environment confers independent cultural value that reflects character of the regions on the city. In addition, an attempt to make the environment of the city tour resources has been accepted, through which each local government established a city plan to promote the project. To make outdoor life safe, healthful, pleasant and effective for the people the design should give cultural character to the space of utility and be appropriate for the life style of the region. However, more organized studies on the design and its development examples are require. This study summarizes examples of the developed design by selecting eight types of outdoor furniture necessary for the Gwangju No.1 Subway Line that is to be open at the late 2003.

Nowadays, the importance of presentations is emphasized more and more. But the university presentation education has not met the today's needs. So this study is focused on showing effective practice methods and finding development directions of the university presentation education, by having a correct understanding of presentation as a process of convergence communication. To accomplish purpose of study, I analyzed and criticized the case of Writing and Communication classes at Seoul National University of Science and Technology which has carried out practical presentation education based on former learners presentation outcomes. As a result, I suggested actually helpful presentation education method by dividing and explaining presentation process into two stages which were 'contents planning' and 'expression&communication'. To properly actualize the university presentation education, It will have to operate as convergence program and activate more learner interactions, the communications between Instructor and learners.

This study discusses on the historical origin of audience movement in Korea. Most relevant studies suggest that the audience movement in Korea originated from the struggle against the Press Ethics Committee in 1964. But, this paper attempts to trace some historical cases before that time. This study analyze two historical cases in the beginning period of modern newspaper in Korea. One is the setting fire of Bakmunguk(office building of Hansung-Sunbo, the first modern newspaper in Korea) in 1884. It was caused by the anti-Japan recognition of the public, who thought that the Hansung-Sunbo was influenced by Japan in many respects. The other is the donation campaign by readers to aid the newspapers which were in a financial predicament. It was carried for the Hwangsung-Shinmun in 1903 and for the Jeguk-Shinmun in 1907. This study suggests that we may regard these two historical cases as seminal forms of audience movement, and argues that the historical origin of audience movement in Korea can be traced to the beginning period of modern newspaper.

The purpose of this study is to provide a way to develop the information quality of mobile real estate service and improve the false property through search filter service. I compared the cases of typical mobile real estate apps that are currently in use and analyzed the usage and service status by adopting 13 search filters that are the first priority when searching for real estate information. As a result, it has been shown that the provision of high quality search filter service is required to improve the information quality in order to provide users with quick and reliable information organically at any time and anywhere according to the definition of mobile real estate service. As a result, it is more prejudiced than the countermeasures against false fraudulent products, and it is satisfied with the needs of the users and provides the improved search filter service, so that it can be trusted with the definition of mobile real estate brokerage service, Providing quality services can be said to prevent the victims of fraudulent products.

VE is one of the most effective and systematic tool available to achieve the required function at minimum cost and manage in many industrial fields. The purpose of the preparation phase VE job plan is to establish a cooperation system referring to groups for the successful implementation of VE, and to achieve a common objective to collect sufficient materials required in the analysis phase. The Quality Model is used to measure the requirement of shareholders(users and owners)in the project. It also offers a guideline on decision making when executing the function definition, function arrangement, function evaluation, and the idea evaluation of VE. However, the current the preparation phase business confirms that the required items of owners and users has not suggested definite goals and directions. This study analyzes the problems of current work in the preparation phase from case study, survey and interviews of experts. It then proposes a new process after understanding the required items of owners, users and experts.
