선천적인 원인으로 인해 언어 장애를 겪고 있는 사람들이나 후두암 등 후천적 질환이 원인이 되어 의사 소통에 불편을 겪는 사람들이 있다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 '손으로 말해요'는 이러한 사람들의 의사 표현을 돕기 위한 장치이다. 뇌에 손상이 있거나 성대에 손상이 있어 말하는 것이 어려운 장애인들이 장갑모양의 입력장치와 목 부위에 부착된 스피커를 이용해 말할 수 있다. 이 스피커를 통해 흘러나오는 인공의 목소리로 의사 소통할 수 있다. 언어장애인을 위한 본 웨어러블 PC 의 특징은 먼저 블루투스 모듈을 이용한 간단한 손가락 동작만으로도 입력이 가능한 장갑 모양의 입력장치이다. 사용이 불편한 엄지 손가락을 제외한 나머지 네 손가락에 각 하나씩 양손 총 8 개의 스위치가 부착되어 있다. 사용자는 손가락을 굽혀 손바닥에 스위치가 닿도록 하거나 책상 등과 같이 편평한 탁자에 손가락 끝을 닿게 하여 스위치를 누를 수 있다. 장갑의 키 배열은 PC 키보드의 배열과 같아 사용자가 쉽게 적응할 수 있다. 다음으로 본 장치는 자연스러운 목소리가 흘러나오는 음성 합성 모듈을 탑재하였다. 모듈의 출력 음성은 실제 말하는 것과 같은 자연스러운 억양을 지니고 있으며, 스피커는 목소리가 흘러나오는 위치가 자연스럽도록 목 부위에 부착되어 있다. 그리고 HMD(Head Mounted Display)를 탑재하여 자신이 텍스트를 정확하게 입력하고 있는지 이를 통해 확인할 수 있다. 장갑을 제외한 모든 장비는 가방에 탑재하여 착용이 편리하도록 하였고, 장갑은 블루투스 모듈을 이용하여 이용에 불편을 주는 전선을 제거하였다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 '손으로 말해요'는 간단한 손가락 동작을 이용하여 자연스러운 목소리로 말하고자 하는 내용을 전달할 수 있기 때문에 언어장애로 불편함을 겪는 사람들에게 도움을 줄 수 있다.

Objectives: This study aimed to confirm the correlation between oral frailty and health-related quality of life (HINT-8) among older adults in Korea. Methods: The data of 1,318 individuals aged ≥65 years who participated in the eighth Korean National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (2019) were analyzed using complex sample statistical analysis. Results: Chewing discomfort was found to decrease the HINT-8 scores by 1.246, 1.324, and 1.089 times in the physical, social, and mental domains, respectively. Speech discomfort was found to decrease the HINT-8 scores by 1.275, 1.449, and 1.175 times in the physical, social, and mental domains, respectively. The HINT-8 scores of participants with ≤19 natural teeth were lower in the physical and social domains. Similarly, the HINT-8 scores of participants with brushing frequency of ≤2 were lower in the positive health domain. Non-use of oral hygiene products led to a reduction in the HINT-8 score in the social health domain. Conclusions: Oral frailty in older adults reduces the health-related quality of life. Thus, it is necessary to formulate policies to manage oral frailty in this population and develop specialized programs for the management of oral frailty.

월경전증후군은 여성만이 경험할 수 있는 생리 전 불편감을 치료가 필요할 정도로 심각하게 느끼는 병을 말한다. 여성의 65%가 가벼운 우울감과 같은 생리 전 불편 증상을 호소하고, 20~40%는 월경 때마다 반복되는 치료가 필요한 정도의 다양한 증상으로 월경전증후군을 앓고 있다. 또한, 이들 중 2~9%는 사회적, 직업적으로 더욱 심각한 증상 때문에 치료를 받게 되는데 이를 월경 전 불쾌장애라고 부른다.

The purpose of this study was to examine the association between oral health status and health related quality of life (HRQoL). The study used a nationally representative sample of Koreans (2013 Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey) aged 19~64 years (n=3,252). Dependent variable was HRQoL, which was assessed with each component of EuroQol-5 dimension (EQ5D). Independent variable was oral health status (oral pain, chewing problem, speaking problem, and perceived oral health). After adjustment for confounders (socio-demographic factors, oral health behaviors, health behaviors, and physical conditions), the risk of having poor HRQoL was greater in adults with poor oral health status. The odds ratio (OR) of having pain/discomfort were 1.50 (95% confidence interval [CI], 1.22~1.86) for respondents with oral pain, 1.72 (95% CI, 1.33~ 2.22) for respondents with chewing problem, 1.79 (95% CI, 1.22~2.62) for respondents with speaking problem, and 1.36 (95% CI, 1.09~1.70) for respondents with poor perceived oral health. The OR of having anxiety/depression were 1.74 (95% CI, 1.28~2.38) when having a chewing problem, 1.72 (95% CI, 1.12~2.64) when having a speaking problem, and 1.54 (95% CI, 1.14~2.08) when rating his/her oral health poor. Among Korean adults, two of the EQ5D components were associated with oral health status. Future study is needed to examine the detailed causal relations between oral health status and HRQoL longitudinally.

21세기 세종계획은 국어정보화를 위한 범국가적 사업으로서 국어 기초 자원을 구축하는데 매우 큰 기여를 하였으며, 그 주요 결과물로 배포된 세종 말뭉치는 많은 연구자들에게 꼭 필요한 가치있는 결과물이다. 이처럼 소중한 국어 자원을 실제 연구자들이 활용하고자 할 때 불편함을 느끼는 경우가 있는데 그 이유는 균형 말뭉치의 구축이라는 말뭉치의 특성 및 원문 자료의 내용을 최대한 보존하기 위한 노력의 일환으로 사용자 정의 영역에 정의된 문자들이 다수 포함되어 있기 때문이다. 본 논문에서는 자연언어 처리, 정보검색 분야 연구자들이 세종계획 최종 결과물 중에서 원시 말뭉치를 활용하는데 있어서 말뭉치에 사용된 문자코드의 유형을 중심으로 코드 변환 문제점과 그 해결 방안을 모색하고자 한다.

To investigate the relationship between mental health and oral health problems in the elderly, this study was conducted using raw data from the 7th 3rd(2018) National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey, targeting 753 elderly people aged 65 and over. For data analysis, complex sample analysis was performed using IBM SPSS 22.0 program. In the case of chewing problem, the odds ratio increased in the group with high stress perception and depression(p<0.05). In the case of speaking problem, the odds ratio increased in the group that received mental health counseling(p<0.05). As a result of this study, it was found that there is a relationship between mental health and oral health problems in the elderly. Therefore, it is thought that it is necessary to improve the quality of life through the development of programs to improve the mental health of the elderly and oral health problems.

본 논문에서는 타인의 도움 없이 자율적으로 환자를 따라다니며 환자의 상태를 주기적으로 주치의에게 전달하는 스마트 링거대를 구현하였다. 기존의 링거대는 환자 혼자 끌고다니며 움직이기에는 여러 가지 불편한 점이 있다. 예를 들면 잠을 잘 때 링거대의 위치를 환자가 직접 옮겨놓고 자야하며, 옮기기도 몸이 불편한 환자 입장에서는 많은 어려움이 따른다. 또 링거액을 다 썼을 때도 간호사에게 직접 가서 말을 해야 하거나, 피가 역류했을 때도 불편한 몸을 이끌고 간호사에게 가야 한다. 이런 여러 가지 불편함을 스마트 링거대를 제작함으로써 링거대의 이동부터 여러 가지 도움이 필요한 상황이 발생 시 간호사에게 연락을 할 수 있도록 하며, 여러 가지 돌발 상황을 대비하여 추가적으로 심박동 및 체온을 측정하여 이상이 발생 할 시 자동적으로 간호사와 보호자에게 연락이 갈 수 있도록 함으로써 병원에서 환자에게도, 간호사에게도 큰 도움이 될 것이라고 사료된다.

서울대학교병원의 ESCO사업이 한창이다. 올해 말까지로 예정된 이 공사는 110V 전압을 220V로 전환하는 승압공사와 고효율 조명기기 교체사업이 동시에 이루어진다. 연간 약 1억6천만원 정도의 전력비 절감효과가 있을 것으로 기대되는 이번 사업은 병원을 이용하는 환자들의 불편을 최소화하기 위해 야간작업만 실시하기로 했다. 작업능률은 다소 떨어지더라도 환자를 먼저 생각하는 마음이 엿보인다.

멀티미디어 콘텐트를 제작하기 위하여 기존 저작물을 이용하고자 할 경우 '저작권 정보'가 기본적으로 요구된다. 해당 저작물과 저작에 대한 정보. 그리고 권리 정보를 얻기 위해서 현재에는 과도한 시간과 비용을 낭비하고 있다. 이런 불편을 해결해 주는 것이 저작권 집중관리 제도이다. 이 제도는 다수의 저작자로부터 권리를 신탁받은 단체가 위탁자의 이익을 위하여 그 권리를 통합적으로 관리하는 것을 말한다.
