Fabrication and dielectric properties of BNT ceramic composites by addition of phosphate glasses (인산염계 유리 첨가에 의한 BNT 세라믹 복합체의 제조 및 유전특성)

  • 본 연구에서는 마이크로파응용을 위한 이동통신기기용 안테나 모듈용 유전체재료 개발을 위해 $20\~80$의 중유전율을 가지는 글래스-세라믹스 복합체를 제조하고자 하였다. $BaO-Nd_2O_3-TiO_2$계 세라믹스를 기본조성으로 하고, $Na_2O-BaO-B_2O_3-P_2O_5$계 글래스 프릿의 첨가를 통해 제조된 글래스-세라믹스 복합체의 소결특성 및 유전특성을 조사하였다. 글래스 프릿을 5, 10, $15wt\%$ 첨가하였으며, $800\~950^{\circ}C$에서 각각 1시간동안 소결을 진행하였다. 그 결과로서 글래스 프릿의 한량이 증가하고, 소결온도가 높을수록 유전율$(\epsilon_r)$은 증가하였으며, 복합체의 결정특성은 감소함을 나타내었다.

  • 저온 소성이 가능한 유전체재료 개발을 글래스-세라믹스 복합체를 제조하고자 하였다. $BNT(BaO-Nd_2O_3-TiO_2)$계 세라믹스를 기본조성으로 하고, 인산염계 글래스 프릿의 첨가를 통해 제조된 글래스-세라믹스 복합체의 소결특성 및 유전특성을 조사하였다. 글래스 프릿의 첨가량이 증가하고 소결온도가 높아질수록 소결 수축률과 상대밀도가 증가함을 알 수 있었으며, 글래스 프릿의 첨가량을 첨가하였을 경우 BNT계 세라믹스에서의 주결정상인 $BaNd_2Ti_5O_{14}$와 더불어 Hexagonal system을 갖는 $KCaNd(PO_4)_2$을 확인하였다. 복합체를 소결한 후 유전특성을 측정하였는데, 유전율(${\varepsilon}_r$)은 감소하는 경향을 나타내었다.

  • The $0.94MgTiO_3-0.06SrTiO_3$ ceramics were prepared by the conventional mixed oxide method. The structural properties were investigated with sintering temperature and composition ratio by XRD, SEM and DT-TGA. According to the X-ray diffraction patterns of the $0.94MgTiO_3-0.06SrTiO_3$ ceramics, the cubic $SrTiO_3$ and hexagonal $MgTiO_3$ structures were coexisted. Increasing the sintering temperature from $1325^{\circ}C$ to $1400^{\circ}C$, average grain size was increased from $5.026{\mu}m$ to $8.377{\mu}m$. In the case of the $0.94MgTiO_3-0.06SrTiO_3$ ceramics sintered at $1325^{\circ}C$, dielectric constant, quality factor and temperature coefficient of resonant frequency were 21.66, 2,522(at 7.34GHz), $+71ppm/^{\circ}C$, respectively.

Physicochemical Properties of Korean Ginseng Dried with Lower Power and Pulse Microwave (저출력 및 Pulse 마이크로파 건조 후 인삼의 품질 특성)

  • Quality changes of Korean ginseng on microwave drying were determined in terms of water activity, crude protein, crude lipid, crude ash, dielectric properties, content of sugar, ginsenoside composion, microstructure. Korean fresh ginseng were subjected to four different processing : 3 min microwave drying and 2 min holding-24 hrs drying (MWI), 5 min microwave drying and 2.5 min holding-24 hrs drying (MW2), 3 min microwave drying and 2 min holding-12 hrs after hot air drying for 12 hrs drying at $45^{\circ}C$ (MWH1), 5 min microwave drying and 2.5 min holding-12 hrs drying after hot air drying for 12 hrs at $45^{\circ}C$ (MWH2), Water content was decreased 14.33% without shrinkage and water activity was 0.57 after microwave drying. Permittivity was increased as water content increased. As temperature increased, permittivity was increased until $40^{\circ}C$ and fast decreased over $40^{\circ}C$. Content of ginsenoside for MW1 and MW2 was higher than that of MWH1 and MWH2. Data of free sugar showed that there was no significant difference in each treatment. The MW2 dried ginseng showed a more compact structure than the MWH2 ginseng.

  • SrWO4가 첨가된 (Sr1-xBax)(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3의 마이크로파 유전특성에 관하여 조사하였다. 관찰된 조성영역에서 Sr(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3과 Ba(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3은 (Sr1-xBax)(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3고용체를 형성하고 SrWO4의 첨가는 고용체의 소결성을 향상시켜 소결온도 155$0^{\circ}C$에서 상대밀도 97% 이상을 얻었다. 소결한 시편의 EDS분석결과, SrWO4의 첨가량이 많은 시편에서 2차상이 존재하는 것을 알수 있었다. 순수한 Sr(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3에 SrWO4를 0.01 mole첨가하여 1550~1$600^{\circ}C$에서 소결한 시편의 유전특성은 $\varepsilon$r 30, Q$\times$fo$\geq$55000,$ au$f -23 ppm/$^{\circ}C$이었다. 0.01 mole SrWO4가 첨가된 (Sr1-xBax)(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3 고용체의 유전율과 온도계숙가 x에 따라 점차적으로 계속 증가하였고 Q$\times$fo는 x$\leq$0.25에서 x에 따라 감소하고 x$\geq$0.3에서 다시 증가하였다. (Sr0.65Ba0.35)(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3+0.01SrWO4의 조성을 갖는 시편에서 $\varepsilon$r 34.4, Q$\times$fo$\geq$55000,$\tau$f 0 ppm/$^{\circ}C$이었다.

  • 본 연구에서는 마이크로파용 유전재료로서 널리 사용되고 있는 BNT($BaO-Nd_{2}O_{3}-TiO_{2}$)계 세라믹스를 기본조성으로 하고, 저융점의 phoshpate계 유리 프릿의 첨가를 통해 LTCC(Low Temperature Cofired Ceramic)에 적용 가능한 유전율을 가진 조성을 개발 하고자, $70P_{2}O_{5}-5B_{2}O_{3}-(25-x)BaO-xNa_{2}O$ 유리를 제조 및 특성을 평가하였다. 또한, BNT계 세라믹스에 glass frit을 5 - 15 wt% 범위에서 첨가하고, $800 - 950^{\circ}C$의 온도범위에서 소결하여 제조된 유리-세라믹 복합체의 소결특성 및 유전특성을 조사하였다.

  • Sintering behavior and dielectric peroperties of $xCaTiO_3-La(Zn_{1/2}Ti_{1/2})O_3$ system were investigated for better understanding of the microwave dielectric materials. In $xCaTiO_3-(1-x)La(Zn_{1/2}Ti_{1/2})O_3$ systems, solid solution type was focused as a function of composition(x=0.4-0.6) and sintered density. With increasing the sintered density, the relative dielectric constant was decreased and Q value was increased and then saturated. In solid solution type, dielectric constant was increased with increasing $CaTiO_3$ content. In $0.5\;CaTiO_3-0.5\; La(Zn_{1/2}Ti_{1/2})O_3$ case, dielectric constant(=48) and temperature coefficient of resonace frequency$(=-1 ppm/^{\circ}C$) were obtained.

  • In this paper, we design a high stable Ku-band phase-locked dielectric resonant microwave oscillator with the gate voltage controls of p-HEMT. By adapting the nonlinear equivalent elements which affects phase noise of microwave oscillator, we optimize the nonlinear elements of p-HEMT to have low phase noise operation. Using the scattering parameters according to bias voltages, we designed the gate voltage control microwave dielectric resonant oscillator and phase-locked loop circuits is applied to have the high stable operations. Designed microwave oscillator as a local oscillator of digital microwave communication shows that output power is 9.17dBm at 10.75GHz and it's phase noise is -88dBc/Hz at 10KHz offset frequency.

Effect of $ZrO_2$Addition on the Microwave Dielectric Properties of BZN-SZN System Ceramics (BZN-SZN계 세라믹스의 마이크로파 유전 특성에 미치는 $ZrO_2$의 영향)

  • Microwave dielectric properties of Ba(Zn$_{1}$3/Nb$_{2}$3/) $O_3$-Sr(Zn$_{1}$3/Nb$_{2}$3/) $O_3$(BZN-SZN) system were investigated as a function of sintering temperature and Zr $O_2$content. Density was increased and the temperature coefficient of resonant frequency (TCF, $\tau$$_{f}$) decreased with increasing sintering temperature. However dielectric constant (K) and Q$\times$f value did not change markedly with the sintering temperature. For the samples sintered at the same temperature, density, dielectric constant, and Q$\times$f value were increased and TCF was decreased with increasing Zr $O_2$concentration. Especially, the dielectric constant of the sample increased with x and exhibited the maximum value ($\varepsilon$$_{r}$=41) when x=0.6 at 1575$^{\circ}C$ sintered. TCF decreased with x and exhibited the minimum value ($\tau$$_{f}$=+0.8ppm/$^{\circ}C$) when x=1.0..0.

  • Microwave dielectric properties of CaTiO3 and CaTiO3-TiO2 ceramics for the composition range between 40 and 50 mol% CaO in CaO-TiO2 binary system were investigated. CaTiO3 ceramics with50 mol% CaO showed the dielectric constant (e,) of 178, the temperature coefficient of resonant frequency(c,) of+1000 ppm/'c and the qualify factor Q of 2760 (f0=2.7 GHz ). Dielectric constant and temperature coefficient of resonant frequency of ceramics with dual phases of CaTiO3 and TiO2 decreased gradually from those of CaTiO3 as the CaO content decreased. Q value and density were found to have minimum at the composition of 47 mol% CaO. The degradation of Q value and density in dual phase ceramics seems to be caused by the large pores at grain boundaries and/or within grains remained after rapid growth of CaTiO3 grains as TiO2 Phase decreased.
