Pattern Noise Prediction for Passenger Car Tire (승용차용 타이어 패턴에 따른 소음 예측 기법)

  • 자동차에서 발생되는 소음은 여러 가지 발생원으로부터의 복합적인 것으로서 차량의 속도가 고속화하면서 타이어 소음의 기여도가 매우 커지는 것으로 알려져 있다. 타이어 소음은 근본적으로 노면과 타이어의 상호작용에 의하여 발생되는 데 타이어/노면의 상호작용에 영향을 미치는 인자로는 마모상태, 차량속도, 하중, 공기압, carcass 구조, 타이어 온도등 여러 가지가 있으나 tread 모양과 노면의 상태에 가장 크게 영향을 받는다. 본 연구에서는 승용차용 155SR13 radial 타이어를 대상으로 하여 실내에 설치된 dynamometer를 이용하여 groove 의 개수, groove 길이, groove 폭, groove 깊이, groove 방향 등 트레드 패턴 인자가 발생소음에 미치는 기여도를 실험적으로 측정하고 트레드 패턴형상에 따른 소음도를 예측할 수 있는 실험식을 구했다. 또한 단일 groove 내에서 발생되는 소음의 시간신호를 측정하여 모델화하고 차량속도와 groove 사이의 간격에 따른 시간신호를 합성하고 이 신호로부터 FFT 알고리듬을 통해 소음 spectrum을 구하는 소음 예측 프로그램을 개발하였다. 비교적 단순한 tread 패턴에 대해 이를 적용한 결과 실험적으로 구한 spectrum과 상당히 유사함을 볼 수 있었다.

An Experimental Study on Relation between compressive strength and Shear Wave velocity for characteristics of coarse aggregate size and type of cement (굵은 골재 최대치수 및 시멘트 종류에 따른 압축강도와 전단파 속도의 상관관계에 대한 실험적 연구)

  • Strength is one of the very important factors to evaluate the physical properties of concrete. Aggregate forms the most parts in concrete. Cement as a binder in concrete is also closely related to strength. This experiment was tested to understand the effect of the characteristics of aggregate and cement on the relationship between concrete compressive strength and Shear Wave velocity. It was experimented by the different types of cement and maximum coarse aggregate sizes. Type I cement and rapid setting cement was used. Aggregates from three different regions were used. Aggregate of 19mm and 13mm maximum coarse aggregate sizes was used for grading. The relationship between compressive strength and Shear Wave velocity was tested under the condition of same mixture. LA wear test was used to quantify the characteristics of aggregate. As a result, the relationship between concrete compressive strength and Shear Wave velocity was affected by the types of cement, but regular relationship was appeared regardless of types of aggregate, grading and abrasion ratio.

Finite Element Analysis for the Contact Stress of Ultra-high Molecular Weight Polyethylene in Total Knee Arthroplasty (전 슬관절 치환 성형술에 사용되는 초고분자량 폴리에틸렌 삽입물의 접촉응력에 관한 유한요소해석)

  • Because of bone resorption, wear of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene(UHMWPE) in total knee arthroplasty has been recognized as a major factor in long-term failure of knee implant. The surface damage and the following harmful wear debris of UHMWPE is largely related to contact stress. Most of the previous studies focused on the contact condition only at the articulating surface of UHMWPE. Recently, contact stress at the metal-backing interface has been implicated as one of major factors in UHMWPE wear. Therefore, the purpose of the is study is to investigate the effect of the contact stress for different thickness, conformity friction coefficient, and flexion degree of the UHMWPE component in total knee system, considering the contact conditions at both interfaces. In this study, a two-dimensional non-linear plane strain finite element model was developed. The results showed that the maximum value of von-Mises stress occurred below the articulating surface and the contact stress was lower for the more conforming models. All-polyethylene component showed lower stress distribution than the metal-backed component. With increased friction coefficient on the tibiofemoral contact surface, the maximum shear stress increased about twofold.

  • Korea Utility Helicopter(KUH) is a project to replace the aging helicopter presently being operated by the military with a domestic helicopter. The auxiliary power unit is a device that supplies emergency power to the system by an alternator installed when the main generator fails and the start motor converts the electrical energy of the battery into mechanical rotational energy to rotate the auxiliary power unit engine. With continuing power and operation, defects of the starting motor were found and improvements were carried out to solve it. In the failure mode analysis, the causes of possible defects were classified into 5 categories. Analysis of the 5 factors revealed that the main cause of defects is mechanical wear, which was found to be related to spring pressure. 250 tests were conducted through the theoretically determined pressure and regression analysis was performed with 4 sampling.The results showed that pressure was related to wear rate. In conclusion, early wear and breakage due to wear can be controlled through spring force and test showed the prediction of wear and the validity of the result were confirmed.

  • The disc cutter and cutterbit, which are the most important factors to increase the excavation efficiency of TBM, are key factors in the design and construction of the cutter head. The arrangement, spacing, number, size, and material of disc cutters suitable for the ground conditions determine the success or failure of TBM construction. The disc cutter, which is a representative consumable part in TBM construction, can cause enormous disruption to the construction cost as well as the construction cost unless accurate prediction of wear and replacement cycle is accompanied. Therefore, in this study, the method of calculating the replacement cycle of the disc cutter calculated at the time of design for the slurry shield TBM field, and the depth of wear and replacement location of the disc cutter that occurred during actual construction were compared by analyzing the field data. For a quantitative comparison, weathered soil/weathered rock, soft rock, and hard rock were classified according to the ground in the section showing constant excavation data, and the trajectory of circle was different depending on the location of the disc cutter, so it was compared and analyzed.

성형하중 저감을 위한 개방형 후방 압출의 신공정 설계

  • 금속성형공정은 칩의 발생 없이 금속의 모양을 큰 소성변형으로 유용한 임의의 형태로 변화시키는 금속가공의 한 분야로써 제품을 생산함에 있어서 생산에 소요되는 시간을 최소로 줄이면서 기계적 성질이 우수한 제품을 생산하는 방법이다. 소성가공 공정에서 성형하중은 금형의 파손 및 마모에 영향을 미치고, 금형이 과도한 탄성변형으로 인한 제품의 치수 정밀도 저하시키기 때문에 성형하중 저감 설계는 소성가공 공정 설계에서 중요한 인자로 작용하고 있다. 원통형 제품을 성형하는데 주로 이용되고 있는 압출공정은 펀치 진행 방향과 동일한 방향으로 제품이 성형되는 전방압출 공정과 펀지 진행 방향과 반대로 제품의 성형되는 후방압출 공정으로 구분된다. 후방압출공정은 튜브 형성의 제품, 포장용 캔 및 변속장치 부품등을 생산하는데 주로 사용되는 공정으로서, 우수한 표면상태, 치수정밀도 및 향상된 기계적 성질을 얻을 수 있으며 높은 생산성과 낮은 제조원가를 얻을 수 있는 장점이 있다.

  • 자동차 후드, 라디에이터그릴(R/Grill), 범퍼, 아웃도어핸들 등 도장 도금 부품소재의 치핑시험법을 재정립 하였다. 시간에 따른 열화(100~1500hr)에 따라 도막 경도, 탄성율, Tg, 층간 부착성 등 물리적 특성 관찰하였고 제논시험기를 이용하여 재현시험을 행하였다. 국내에서 유일한 싱글/멀티 치핑기에 의한 치핑인자(속도, 비석, 각도 등) 분석 및 실제 주행차량의 분석을 통한 치핑의 주요원인을 밝혀냈다. 외산과 국산을 비교하여 속도별 치핑현상을 파악하였고, 마모 마찰열의 상승을 최소화와 원마도(R)의 최적조건을 찾아내었다.

  • 본 논문은 유동층반응기에서 메탄의 열분해에 의한 수소 생산과 탄소 생성에 대한 연구를 수행하였다. 환경에 대한 영향을 최소화한 상태에서 메탄의 전환반응을 메탄 분해촉매활성에 영향을 미치는 인자에 대하여 연구하였다. 측정된 압력요동특성치의 해석을 통하여 유동층 열분해촉매의 유동화현상을 측정하였으며, 유동화특성에 따른 메탄열분해능을 측정하였다. 메탄의 분해는 생성되는 수소를 이용하였다. 유동층의 이동성, $U-U_{mf}$, 마모, 비산유출 유동화가스의 효율밀도에 따른 영향을 연구하였다.

  • Bridge deck has a role in a comfortable and safe passage of vehicles. At the same time, it preserves upper structure against the abrasion and shearing due to impact of traffic loads in bridges or has a role to protect the plate from off adverse effect of climatic process as rain, chemicals. Currently, the total number of inspected bridges is 6,248 in the general national road and to maintain effectively, Introduction of GPR system mounted in the vehicle has been considered. In this research, the comparison and analysis of bridge deck condition on general national road has been performed with major variations of superstructure type, span lengths, located region and ages by using 'the current status of road bridge and tunnel' that is provided by MLTM(Ministry of Land, Transport and Maritime Affairs). As a result, Condition assessment grade, superstructure type, age and length were derived as a major factor to determine priority for the condition assessment.

  • The basis of all approaches to improve reliability of marine engines exists in analyzing the field data of troubles and failures on marine engines. This paper analyses the data of troubles and failures on marine engines by Principal Component Analysis Method, one of Multivariate Data Analysis Method. The total number of data investigated is 211 and the observation period is 9 years. The analyzed factors are categorized among five groups respectively; electric.automatic control equipments, auxiliary machinery, pipings, refrigerators.air conditioners, and main engine. The failures in main engine are discovered by a definite fact of disorder, on the contrary, the failures in auxiliary machinery, refrigerators and air conditioners are discovered by sensible judgement of the operators.
