  • 본 논문은 형태소간의 접속 특성과 대형 말뭉치(Corpus)에서 추출된 인접 말마디의 정보를 이용해서 한국어 형태소 분석기를 구현한다. 언어는 단지 규칙으로만 처리하기에는 불가능한 복잡한 구조와 중의성을 갖고 있기 때문에 과거에 주로 연구되었던 형태소들간의 접속 특성과 규칙을 이용한 형태소 분석은 실제로 구문분석 단계에서 사용될 수 있는 실용성을 제시하지 못했다. 따라서 형태소 접속 특성뿐만 아니라 인접 말마디와의 관계를 사전에 기술함으로써 보다 실용성 있는 형태소 분석기의 구현을 시도한다. 아울러 본 형태소 분석기의 효능은 정착하고 풍부한 정보를 사전에 효율적으로 수록함으로써 이룩될 것이며, 이를 위해 기존 사전의 보강에 필요한 정보들을 대형 말뭉치로부터 추출하여 사전에 첨가시킨다.

Identification of Allelopathic Substances from Polygonum hydropiper and Polygonum aviculare (여뀌.마디풀로부터 상호대립억제작용물질(相互對立抑制作用物質)의 분리(分離).동정(同定))

  • Water extracts of polygonum hydropiper and Polygonum aviculare completely inhibited the germination of lettuce seeds. Methanol extracts from these two species also inhibited the seed germination of lettuce (Lactuca sativa) and Oenothera odorata. Fifteen phenolic acids in total were identified by GLC from P. hydropiper and eighteen from P. aviculare. The most common phenolic acids identified from P. hydropiper were sinapic, salicylic+vanillic and ferulic acid presented in all the fractions. In addition, salicylic+vanillic, tannic+gallic, sinapic, ferulic and p-coumaric acid seemed to be important phenolic compounds in terms of quantity. However, salicylic+vanillic acids were the unique phenolic acids occurred in all the fractions of P. aviculare. The others such as tannic+gallic, sinapic, ferulic, p-coumaric acid, p-cresol and catechol present in large amount appeared also the important phenolic substances influencing allelopathic effects of P. aviculare. Linolenic acid and oxalic acid were the major fatty and organic acids in both plant species, presented in 2.38mg/g and 20.588mg/g in P. hydropiper, 3.70mg/g and 14.288mg/g in P. aviculare, respectively, which seem to be exhibiting allelopathic effects of these plants. Total alkaloids were presented in low amount such as 0.20% in P. hydropiper arid 0.22% in P. aviculare which may not be important elements. Pet. ether extracts were 2.42% in P. hydropiper and 1.65% in P. aviculare, which exhibit another potential for allelopathic effects that need further investigation. Various authentic phenolic compounds at different concentrations inhibited the germination of lettuce seed, indicating that the phenolic substances identified here may be directly related to biologically active substance.

Genetic Diversity of Salicornia herbacea according to Habitat Area by ISSR Markers (ISSR 마커를 이용한 서식 면적에 따른 퉁퉁마디의 유전적 다양성)

  • This study analyzed 96 individuals in 6 populations using ISSR marker to investigate the genetic diversity of Salicornia herbacea populations. The total of 49 PCR amplification bands was observed in 6 ISSR primers, and 30 of them had genetic polymorphisms. The Shannon's information index (I) and gene diversity index (h), which indicate the genetic diversity of the Salicornia herbacea populations, were 0.382 and 0.249, respectively. The genetic diversity according to the population size was lowest with 0.092 (I) and 0.058 (h) in $0.1m{\times}0.1m$ and highest with 0.338 (I) and 0.227 (h) in $25m{\times}25m$, which was suitable for the furtherance of the high population with high genetic diversity. The UPGMA dendrogram based on Nei's genetic distance did not show a significant correlation with the distance between the Salicornia herbacea population. The results indicate that the Salicornia herbacea habiting in the restricted environment should have an area over a certain size to ensure the formation of a population with genetic diversity.

Modulation of the inflammatory process and interaction of THP-1 monocytes with intestinal epithelial cells by glasswort (Salicornia herbacea L.) extracts (인간 단핵구 THP-1의 염증반응 및 장관상피세포와의 상호작용에 미치는 퉁퉁마디 추출물 분획의 영향)

  • The glasswort is an edible halophyte demonstrating various physiological effects including anti-inflammatory activity. In the present study, the effects of glasswort extracts on inflammatory events and interactions of THP-1 monocytes with intestinal epithelial cells were investigated. Five solvent fractions, including the ethylether fraction (Fr.E), were prepared from a 70% methanol extract of glasswort. THP-1 monocytes underwent differentiation by phorbol 12-myristate 13-acetate treatment and were then activated by lipopolysaccharide (LPS), which induced cyclooxygenase (COX)-2 expression. None of the glasswort fractions tested alone induced COX-2 in differentiated THP-1 cells. Fr.E, however, enhanced LPS-induced COX-2 expression in differentiated THP-1 cells. Culture media of THP-1 cells treated with each fraction stimulated the growth of normal intestinal INT-407 cells more prominently than that of HT-29 colon cancer cells. COX-2 expression in HT-29 cells was inhibited when the cells were exposed to the THP-1 culture medium treated with Fr.E. Thus, glasswort could modulate the interaction between immune cells and intestinal cells.

Effective Cutting Length and NAA Concentration for Water Cutting Propagation in Clematis (클레마티스 수삽번식 향상을 위한 삽수길이 및 NAA 농도)

  • This study was performed to investigate the possibility of water cutting by vegetative propagation method from July to August of Clematis. To find out proper cutting length and rooting growth regulator for water cuttings production, cutting lengths of C. 'Honora' made 1 node and 2 nodes length cutting, which were soaked in NAA $0.1mg{\cdot}L^{-1}$. Rooting rate of cuttings treated by NAA $0.1mg{\cdot}L^{-1}$ was 100% irrespective of root lengths, but that of 1 node and 2 nodes untreated by NAA $0.1mg{\cdot}L^{-1}$ were very low about 30% and 19% respectively. Number of roots and roots length were also highest in NAA $0.1mg{\cdot}L^{-1}$, effects of NAA $0.1mg{\cdot}L^{-1}$ treatment were greater at 1 node cutting. Based on the results, rooting rate for I node cutting of C. 'Pairu' according to NAA (0, 0.1, 0.5, $1.0mg{\cdot}L^{-1}$) concentrations was investigated. Days to rooting were 70-74 days (about 10 weeks), which was not significantly different among the NAA concentrations. Rooting rate increased by NAA concentration. it was about 90% usually and was improved with more than NAA $0.5mg{\cdot}L^{-1}$.

Characteristics of Growth and Germination of Salicornia herbacea L. for the Soil salinity and Manure Condition (토양염분.시비 조건에 따른 퉁퉁마디 생장 및 발아 특성)

  • This experiment was carried out to investigate the cultivation condition of soil salinity, manure and to find out the cultivation capability of Salicornia herbacea. The optimal growth condition of soil salinity was between 1% and 4%. The growth of groups for fertilization was significantly better than control group. Salicornia herbacea grew very up from 7 kg/l0a to 9 kg/l0a for N, 12 kg/l0a for P and the K-fertilizer group was better than control group but there was not significantly different among the conditions of K-concentration. The germination was good from $0{\textperthousand}\;to\;5{\textperthousand}$ for salinity, from $20^{\circ}C\;to\;30^{\circ}C$ for temperature. On the experiment cultivation, the production by hill seeding was $5.40{\sim}5.90 kg/m^2$ and was significantly higher than the yield by broadcast sowing which was $4.01{\sim}4.20 kg/m^2$. The production by hill seeding was 2.7 times than natural production and the production by broadcast sowing 1.9 times.

Studies on the Light Organ of the Firefly, Luciola lateralis Motschulsky (애반딧불이의 발광기관 구조)

  • Studies were carried out to investigate structural characteristics of the larval and adult light organs of Luciola lateralis Mot. and to observe the relation between the light organ and nerve. The larval light organs, (LLO)existed at a paired dorsal lateral positions of the 8th abdominal segment. The organ was spherical or sub-spherical in shape. There were many vacuoles around the LLO. As larva grew, the number of vacuoles increased. LLO had the muscles in its interior part and their role seemed to fix the LLO position in space. Also, there were the tracheae and tracheoles in LLO. The Adult light organs (ALO) were at the ventral portions of the 5th and 6th abdominal segments in the male, but only on the 5th abdominal segment in the female. ALO had two functional layers, i.e., photocyte and dorsal layer. Tracheal end organs existed in both layers but their arrangements were irregular. Rod-shaped photocytes and spherical photocytes were observed in the ALO of male and female, but the rod-shaped types were rarely found in the female. In the ALO of the 5th abdominal segment, two paired peripheral nerves were originated from the anterior part of the last abdominal compound ganglion. A pair of peripheral nerves were originated from the posterior part of the compound ganglion to innervate the 6th abdominal segment ALO. And LLO was innervated by a paired peripheral nerves from the last abdominal ganglion.

  • Alstroemeria (Alstroemeriaceae) is one of the most important cut flowers in international market. Especially, characteristics like long vase-life, various colors, tolerance to low temperature and a low energy requirement during cultivation have stimulated this success. Because of its characteristics such as low multiplication rates, time-consuming process and high risk of carrying viral disease, in vitro propagation techniques based on rhizome meristems culture have been developing nowadays. The callus induction has various cultivation sites compared with the direct plant generation method, and if the callus is maintained well, the plant differentiation can be performed simultaneously while maintaining the callus, so that it can be used for mass proliferation. In this study, we tested various hormones and cultivars for efficient callus induction. As a result of culturing between the nodes and the internodes, the callus began to be formed after 8 weeks, and the calli incidence in the nodes was higher than that between the internodes. Also, in the comparison of 2,4-D and picloram, the callus incidence rate was up to 2 times higher in the medium treated with 2,4-D. Using these results, it is thought that it will help establish the system of mass propagation system of Alstroemeria and cultivate new varieties.

  • 1981년 10월 2일에 울릉도 남양 인근의 수심 5∼7m해저에서 채집되어 해양 연구소에 보관되었던 바다거미류 중 4개체가 신속 ·신종임이 밝혀져 이를 Bradypallene espina르 명명하여 기재한다. 신종은 더듬이다리가 3마디이고(암수) 눈돌기가 머리마디의 앞쪽에 위치하며 다리에 곁발톱이 있는 점, 포란지에 끝발톱이 없는 점으르 보아 기록된 타속에 소속시킬 수가 없다.
