The Stator Analysis and Design of Ring Type Ultrasonic Motor (링형 초음파모터의 고정자 해석 및 설계)

  • This paper describes with the stator analysis and design of a ring type ultrasonic motor. The design for piezoelectric ceramic and elastic body of stator were calculated by using the finite element method (FEM) that consider the resonance frequency, vibration mode and coupling efficiency. Namely, such results were acquired the calculation result of the piezoelectric ceramic thickness 0.5[mm], elastic body thickness 2.0[mm], resonance frequency 51.8[kHz], vibration mode 7 order and coupling efficient 12.5[%], the outer and inner diameter of vibrator 50[mm], 38[m]. On the basis of such result, the ring type ultrasonic motor was manufactured. Also for driving characteristics of ring type ultrasonic motor, 2-phase inverter was constructed. Then the propriety of this paper was established from comparision of the simulation and an experiment results of the ring type ultrasonic motor.

  • Several methods of aligning ring type cavities have been investigated for long time. The measurement of cavity transmission spectrum control is somewhat effective due to aligning cavity with measuring cavity loss at the same time. In this research, four mirrors are aligned and attached by the measurement of pulse width of the transmitted light. The intracavity loss is optimized to about 0.98%, giving the calculated total reflection coefficient of about 99.02%.

  • In constructing a superhigh communications network, investment in broadband of local loop is the most necessary. In this paper, it is performed to extract an optimum local loop by means of a comparative study after investigation and analysis of each construction structure of local loop. This paper is presented the way of construction of an economically optimum superhigh network by measurement in various circumstances, comparison and analysis of cost per node and star and ring in topology for constructing an optimum superhigh local loop.

  • In this study, water vapor pressure and restrained stress were evaluated by ring-type restrained condition for compressive strength 60 and 80MPa concrete. Experimental results show that the 80MPa concrete has higher water vapor pressure and restraint stress than the 60MPa concrete, resulting in spalling occurrence. It is because, the higher the compressive strength of the concrete, the more dense the internal structure is formed.

  • A piezoelectric ring type plate, which vibrates in flexural vibration mode, is used for the stator of ultrasonic motor. To design the stator adequately, the force factor of the stator should be estimated in advance. The theoretically calculated force factors for the flexural vibration mode are compared with the measured ones to obtain good agreement. In order to study how to control the force factor, the relation between the shape of the stator and force factor is also considered.

  • A numerical simulation was conducted to investigate the effect of height position of Rushton type Impeller in the fermentation. The computational method was based on the CFX code. The simulation was performed for 3 height differences(25, 30, 35mm) between Rushton type impeller and bottom of fermentation. The instantaneous flow fields showed that the bulk flow consisted of large scale vortices. However the main flow results showed that the formation of ring vortices above and below the impeller depended on the height of the impeller.

  • 최근 무선 센서 노드를 이용하여 다양한 환경 정보를 수집하고 처리할 수 있는 기술들이 활발히 연구되고 있다. 무선 센서 네트워크는 제한적인 컴퓨팅 자원을 가진 소형의 센서 노드들로 구성된다. 무선 센서 네트워크에서 중요한 이슈중 하나는 모든 노드가 게이트웨이인 싱크 노드를 통해 정보수집 네트워크를 효율적으로 구성하는 것이다. 기존의 무선 센서 네트워크에서는 싱크 노드와 센서 노드들간의 데이터 통신에 있어서 한 싱크 노드가 다운되면 통신경로가 상실되는 문제점을 가지고 있다. 이를 해결하기 위해 본 논문에서는 무선 슬롯 링 방식을 제안한다. 무슨 슬롯 링 방식은 기존의 트리형 혹은 클러스터형과 달리 센서 노드로 링형 네트워크를 구성하고 한 노드를 통해 데이터를 싱크노드로 전송하는 통신 기법을 제안한다.

Design of the Microwave Oscillator with the C type DGS Resonator (C형태의 DGS 공진기를 이용한 초고주파 발진기 설계)

  • Since phase noise is one of the most important parameters in the design of microwave oscillators, several methods have been proposed to reduce the phase noise. These methods have focused on improving the quality factor of resonators, which result in low phase noise oscillators. Dielectric resonators have been widely used for low phase noise in microwave oscillators due to their high quality factor. However this cannot be used in MMIC oscillators because they have a 3D structure. In this paper, to overcome this problem a novel resonator using open ring type DGS is proposed for improvement of phase noise characteristics that is weak point of oscillator using planar type microstrip line resonator, and oscillator for 5.8GHz band is designed using proposed DGS resonator. The open ring type DGS resonator is composed of DGS cell etched on ground plane under $50{\Omega}$ microstrip line. At the fundamental frequency of 5.8GHz, 6.1dBm output power and -82.7 dBc@100kHz phase noise have been measured for oscillator with ring type DGS resonator. The phase noise characteristics of oscillator is improved about 96.5dB compared to one using the general ${\lambda}/4$ microstrip resonator.

Optimal Control for Multiple Serial Sampling Systems (다중시리얼 샘플링 시스템의 최적제어)

  • In industrial multivariable plants, it is ofte the case that the plant outputs are measured in similar components not simultaneously but serially. In this paper, the problem of estimating the state vector of the plant based on the data obtained from such a measuring scheme is considered, and a special type of observer(referred to as a $'$multiple serial-sampling$'$ type observer) which renews its internal states whenever a new group of data is obtained is proposed. It is proved that such an observer can be constructed for almost every sampling period if the palnt is observable as a continuous-time multivariable system, and that the poles of the closed-loop system using the multiple serial-sampling type observer consist of the poles of the observer and those of the state feedback system. The behaviors of the observer and the closed-loop system are studied by simulation. The results of simulation indicate that a multiple serial-ampling type observer can estimate the state of the plant more accurately than the ordinary type observers and improve the closed-loop performance, especially, in the existence of measuring noise.ng noise.
