Analysis of Corner Reflector Antennas feeding by Log-Periodic Dipole Antennas (대수주기 다이폴안테나로 급전되는 코너리플렉터안테나의 해석)

  • In this paper, to achieve a broad-band and high-gain antenna, we thus designed and analyzed the CRLPDA(Corner Reflector Antenna feeding by Log-Periodic Dipole Antenna) made up of 90$^{\circ}$corner reflector, which is trough-reflector type installed a planar reflector at the folded line. CRLPDA for operating frequency band of 1,400 MHB ~ 2,400 MHz was designed and radiation characteristics of the designed antenna were analyzed by moment method. To verify the analysis results, CRLPDA was fabricated and the calculated results were compared with the measured results. The measured results showed good agreement with the calculated results. As the result of measurements, bandwidth(VSWR>2) for 1,000 MHz was achieved and gain was 13 dBi.

Bistatic Scattering Cross-Section of a Spherical Conductor (완전도체구의 산란특성)

  • In-Building communication network is realized by spherical reflector installed on the ceiling and a pair of circularly polarized antennas. Before realizing the system, the scattering characteristics of a spherical conductor is computed and experimented. In this paper, the computational results using vector spherical wave equation and experimental results of the scattering characteristics of a spherical conductor are dicussed. From the results, the omnidirectional scattering level is confirmed and polarity difference over 13 dB is ensured in light region. With the base on omnidirectional scattering pattern of spherical conductor in light region, spherical reflector is effectable in as Wireless In-Building communication network.

A Study on the D-InSAR Method for Micro-deformation Monitoring in Railway Facilities (철도시설물 미소변형 모니터링을 위한 D-InSAR 기법 연구)

  • The settlement at the railroad foundation is often the leading cause of track irregularity and potential derailment. The control of such deformation is considered necessary in track maintenance practice. Nevertheless, the monitoring process performed by in situ surveying requires an excessive amount of manpower and cost. The InSAR, a remote sensing technique by RADAR satellite, is used to overcome such a burden. The PS-InSAR technique is preferred for a long-term precise monitoring method. However, this study aims to obtain relatively brief analysis results from only two satellite images using the D-InSAR technique, while a minimum of 25 images are required for PS-InSAR. This study verifies the precision of D-InSAR within a few millimeters by inspecting railroad facilities and land settlements in Korea Railroad Research Institute's test track with images from TerraSAR-X Satellite. Multiple corner reflectors were adopted and installed on an embankment and the building roof to raise the surface reflectivity. Those reflectors were slightly adjusted periodically to verify the detecting performance. The results revealed the optimum distance between corner reflectors. Further, the deformation of railway tracks, slopes, and concrete structures was analyzed successively. In conclusion, this study indicates that the D-InSAR technique effectively monitors the short-term deformation of a broad area such as railway structures.

  • Solar Cell을 이용한 15W 휴대용 조명 시스템을 개발하기 위하여, 휴대용에 적합한 solar cell을 선정하고, Solar Cell을 충전하기 위한 태양광 궤적 변화에 대한 Simulation을 행하였으며, 1W 백색 LED 6EA를 사용하여 휴대용 LED Lighting System을 개발하였다. LED Lighting System은 solar cell 충방전 회로 및 LED SMPS 구동회로 설계, 글레어차단을 위한 리플렉터 설계, 방열 설계 및 기구 구조 설계를 통하여 개발되었으며, 직접 시제품을 제작하고 그 성능을 측정하였다.

  • This paper examines and analyzes improvement of structure of bulb, increase of luminous efficiency through application of reflector globe through aluminum coating and development of 60[W] basking neodymium lamp through optimum insertion ratio of krypton gas and nitrogen gas. The results of this development shows that the life of the lamp was 7,200 hours, and the luminous flux was 620[1m]. This brings in superior color temperature and superior color rendering index, which allows us to use that lamp for agricultural or general purpose.

  • 최근들어, TFT LCD 업체들의 제품 대형화에 따라서 서서히 제품군이 중, 대형 TV를 중심으로 넓은 광시야각 기술 (FFS, IPS, VA)이 적용되고 있으며 고휘도, 고속응답, 고색순도 등 성능향상을 지속하는 가운데 LCD 백라이트로써 LCD TV에 적용하기 위해서는 무엇보다도 현재 기존 제품군보다 높은 휘도 특성의 개선이 요구되고 있다. TV 대응 LCD Panel 은 Monitor 대응 제품에 비해서 일반적으로 해상도가 낮으므로, 투과율면에서 장점은 있으나, 현재의 백라이트 구조로는 만족할만한 성능을 낼 수 없는 상황이다. 그러므로 고휘도 백라이트를 위해서 직하방식 백라이트에 대한 개발 검토가 활발히 이루어지고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 백라이트에서 6500nits를 목표로 직하형 백라이트의 시뮬레이션을 실시하였으며, 램프간 거리, 리플렉터와 램프간 거리, 램프와 확산판간 거리등에 해한 최적화를 통하여 총두께에 따른 특성분석을 실시하였다. 특히, 램프의 수량에 따른 휘도 시뮬레이션을 통해서 백라이트별 기구치수를 결정할 수 있었다. 본 연구에서의 목적인 6500nits의 휘도는 프리즘시트의 적용을 통하여 달성하였다.

Development of High Efficiency and High Power LED Package for Applying Silicone-Reflector (실리콘 리플렉터를 적용한 고효율 고출력 LED 패키지 개발)

  • We developed high-efficient 6W-LED package with simple structure by applying Heat Slug and silicone-reflector. LED package was manufactured in $8.5{\times}8.5mm$ sized multi-chip structure having thickness of $500{\mu}m$ achieved by bonding silicon-reflector with prepreg on top of the plate after implementing the reflector placed on copper substrate Half Etching by thickness of $200{\mu}m$. The luminous flux, luminous efficacy, correlated color temperature, color rendering index and thermal resistance of developed LED was evaluated, and it verified the application of products by applying it to 120W-LED road luminaires through simulation. The luminous efficacy of LED package reached over 130lm/W, and it is possible to be manufactured into 120W-LED road luminaires using 18 packages. In addition, the simulation results showed average of horizontal illuminance and overall illuminance uniformity that is suitable for three-lane road.

  • 건강에 대한 관심이 증대되고 있고 이를 만족시키기 위해 한의학과 IT와의 융합을 통한 기술 발전은 필수 불가결한 요소가 되어가고 있다. 최근 한의학의 대중화 및 발전을 위해 여러 방면으로 연구가 진행되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 한의학의 진단법인 4진법 중 가장 뛰어난 망진에 대한 연구의 일환으로 망진의 찰색을 위하여 색 분석을 행하기 위한 영상 획득 환경 중 스트로브 조명을 사용한 색 보정의 효율성을 확인하기 위해 연구를 진행 하였다. 영상 획득 시 다양한 환경에 처할 수 있으므로 스트로브 조명을 통한 일반화 된 실험 환경의 조성이 가능할 수도 있고 혹은 조명이 부족한 상태에서의 보충적인 재료로써의 활용이 가능하기 때문이며 획득된 영상에 색 보정을 실시하여 색 재현성의 효율성을 실제 색 분석을 통해 비교, 분석을 행하였다.

  • 이동통신용 기지국안테나는 현재 약 -20dB의 후방부엽이 존재한다. 이는 인접한 안테나에 전파감쇠 및 장애를 일으키고 있어 후방부엽을 -50dB이하까지 개선시킬 필요가 있다. 본 논문에서는 기존의 Back Plate 구조를 새롭게 변형하여 후방부엽의 레벨을 낮추고자 한다. 새로운 구조의 Back Plate는 리플렉터안테나의 원리를 이용하여 ㄷ자 형태로 만들었다. 본 연구 수행의 구체적 방법으로는 범용소프트웨어툴인 NEC2를 사용하였고 각 파라메터에 대해 파라메터스터디를 하여 최적의 파라메터를 도출하였으며 -49.58dB의 후방부엽을 갖는 기지국안테나를 설계하였다.

Novel SAW-based pressure sensor on $41^{\circ}YX\;LiNbO_3$ ($41^{\circ}YX\;LiNbO_3$ 기반 SAW 압력센서 개발)

  • This paper presents a novel surface acoustic wave (SAW)-based pressure sensor, which is composed of single phase unidirectional transducer (SPUDT), three reflectors, and a deep etched substrate for bonding underneath the diaphragm. Using the coupling of modes (COM) theory, the SAW device was simulated, and the optimized design parameters were extracted. Finite Element Methods (FEM) was utilized to calculate the bending and stress/strain distribution on the diaphragm under a given pressure. Using extracted optimal design parameters, a 440 MHz reflective delay line on 41o YX LiNbO3 was developed. High S/N ratio, shan reflection peaks, and small spurious peaks were observed. The measured S11 results showed a good agreement with simulated results obtained from coupling-of-modes (COM) modeling and Finite Element Method (FEM) analysis.
