The role of LMX and leader trust in the relationship between empowering leadership and in-role behavior was verified. We surveyed 289 small and medium enterprises in Yangsan, Ulsan and Gyeongju city. SPSS 18.0 was used for overall descriptive statistics and exploratory factor analysis. AMOS 18.0 was used to conduct confirmatory factor analysis to confirm the validity of the research variables and to conduct a covariance structure analysis to verify the research hypothesis. The result of this study were as follows. First, empowering leadership has a significant effect on LMX, leader trust. Second, empowering leadership did not have a significant effect on in-role behavior. Third, LMX has a significant effect on leader trust and in-role behavior. Fourth, leader trust has a significant influence onin-role behavior. Finally, LMX and leader trust play a mediating role in the relationship between empowering leadership and in-role behavior. • Objectives: This study proposes a hypothetical model for job stress, job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and turnover intention through social exchange relations (LMX, TMX) and political skills (LPS) for dental hygienists working in dental clinics hygienists. Methods: A self-administrated questionnaire was administered from April 1 to May 12, 2020, with 171 dental clinic hygienists participating in Seoul, Busan and Gyeongnam. The data were analyzed using SPSS and AMOS statistical analysis programs. Results: First, in the hypotheses testing, a total of 7 of 18 hypotheses were supported. Second, the relatonship between leader-member exchange (LMX) or team-member exchange (TMX) and turnover intention, a full mediating effect of job stress or job satisfaction or organizational commitment on that exchange was found. However, the leader's political skills on the path to turnover intention were not statistically significant. Conclusions: It is considered that education to enhance job skills, support for leisure activities, and time to communicate opinions with each other should be provided to create an organizational culture that satisfies all members, thereby lowering the intention to turnover.

  • The purpose of this study was to determine the effects of dental hygienists' leader-member exchange (LMX) and empowerment on organizational performance, improve human resource management in their organization and their job satisfaction and organizational commitment, and provide basic data that could help improve organizational performance. A survey was conducted in 324 dental hygienists at dental care institutions in Ulsan, Busan, and Daegu from March 2 to 31, 2015 and the following results were obtained: Dental hygienists at dental hospitals had higher levels of LMX than those at dental clinics; those who were at higher positions, who were older, and who were more educated showed higher levels of empowerment. There was significant, positive correlation between LMX and empowerment and job satisfaction and organizational commitment: dental hygienists with better LMX and higher levels of empowerment showed higher levels of job satisfaction and organizational commitment. For dental hygienists, significance (${\beta}=0.325$, p<0.001) exerted the greatest impact on job satisfaction, followed by organizational commitment (${\beta}=0.264$, p<0.001) and competence (${\beta}=0.164$, p<0.01) and LMX (${\beta}=0.321$, p<0.001) had the greatest impact on organizational commitment, followed by job satisfaction (${\beta}=0.275$, p<0.001) and significance (${\beta}=0.210$, p<0.001).To put the results together, dental hygienists in dental care practice had their job satisfaction and organizational commitment affected by LMX and empowerment; therefore, it is necessary to develop diverse education programs with the objective of promoting mutual exchange between a manager of dental hygienists' team and members and improving empowerment.

  • The purpose of this study is to empirically analyze the mediating effect of job stress and Job engagement in job satisfaction between WFC(Work-Family Conflict) and quality of LMX(eader-member exchange) relationship of married female workers based on JD-R(Job Demands-Resources) model. A total of 945 people were targeted using the 7th panel data from the Korean Longitudinal Survey of Women and a structural equation model was used to verify the causal relationship and mediating effect of each variable using spss 23.0 and AMOS 21.0. As a result of the study, it was confirmed that WFC did not directly affect job satisfaction, and it was found that job satisfaction was negatively affected through job stress related to WFC. It was found that the quality of the LMX relationship had a positive effect on job satisfaction and reduced job stress, thus positively affecting job satisfaction. Job engagement was found to mediate the relationship between LMX and job satisfaction. This study is meaningful in that the search for multidimensional psychological and contextual factors that lead to job performance and job demands of married female workers are conducted.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the impact of issue leadership by sales managers on sales team performance, while examining the mediating role of team adaptive sales behavior and the moderating effect of team-member exchange (TMX). Data was collected from 125 sales teams, and both independent and dependent variables were measured with a time difference of two months using responses from sales managers and team members. The empirical analysis revealed several important findings. Firstly, the study found that issue leadership had a significant positive effect on sales team performance. Secondly, team adaptive sales behavior was found to partially mediate the relationship between issue leadership and sales team performance. Lastly, the study revealed that TMX moderated the relationship between issue leadership and sales team performance. These findings have significant academic and practical implications. Firstly, the study demonstrates the effectiveness of issue leadership as a sales leadership style in the B2C industry. Secondly, it highlights the importance of team adaptive sales behavior as a mechanism that mediates the relationship between issue leadership and sales team performance. Lastly, it underscores the significance of TMX as a situational factor that moderates the relationship between issue leadership and sales team performance. In practice, the results suggest that organizations should focus on developing issue leaders, fostering creative sales behavior at the team level, and activating social exchange within sales teams to enhance sales team performance.
