Influences of Career Decision Making Type, Career Self Regulation, Self Leadership on Career Adaptability among Nursing Students (간호대학생의 진로의사결정유형, 진로자기조절, 셀프리더십이 진로적응력에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of career decision making type, career self regulation, self leadership on career adaptability of nursing student. Subjects were 215 nursing students at a university in Chungchung-Namdo. Data were analyzed by t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficients and multiple regression analysis. The results showed that Career Adaptability had significant positive correlations with self regulation, self leadership, rational decision making type, intuitive decision making type. These variables explained 62.7% of the variance on nursing students career adaptability. Development and provision of intervention programs to increase self leadership, career self regulation and rational decision making type will help to increase nursing students's career adaptability.

  • This study was carried out in order to verify the influence that recognition was mad to organization commitment, organizational culture type leadership of a social welfare organization. The study object a total Part 456 was used to analysis as social worker engaged in to social welfare agency. It was for an independent variable to revolutionized leadership, exchanged leadership as leadership type, and it was organizational culture an mediator variable, analyzed correlation of organization commitment, analysis return in order to grasp an influence to be mad to organization commitment material leadership type, executed path analysis so that direct and indirect effect being mad to organization commitment organizational culture through leadership type. Result of research, A total effect to affect regarding organization commitment, there is most a lot of revolutionized leadership, affected that organization culture appeared group culture of an organization, exchanged leadership, development culture. A leader of a social welfare organization shall improve self-participation and business efficiency voluntary of an employee through revolutionized leadership, in order to improve organization commitment of an employee, this leadership types had to improve organization commitment of an employee as group culture of an organization.

Relations among the Decision Making Style, Self Leadership and Communication Competence of Visiting Nurses (경인지역 보건소 방문간호사의 의사결정유형에 따른 셀프리더십과 의사소통 능력)

  • The aim of this study was to explore relations among the decision making style, self leadership and communication competence of visiting nurses. The research design was a descriptive survey study, and 219 people were selected through convenience sampling among the visiting nurses who worked in the 28 community based health care centers. The most frequent decision making style of visiting nurses was a rational style. The scores of self leadership and communication competence of visiting nurses were also showed the highest score when the visiting nurse had a rational decision making style. The statistical significant correlations were found among the decision making style, self leadership and communication competence. The results of this study were useful to develop jop-training programs for visiting nurses to enhance their problem-solving abilities. We suggest more various education programs to increase the visiting nurse's self leadership and communication competence will be implemented and refined protocols according to situations will be developed, too.

  • This study aimed to investigate the effect of charismatic leadership and transactional leadership on organizational commitment among cuisine employees in hotel. It also examined the moderating effect of job satisfaction between leadership and organizational commitment. The findings might delineate very meaningful suggestions and implications to enhance organizational commitment for cuisine employees. The result showed that both of leadership styles had significantly positive effects on employees' organizational commitment. In particular, charismatic leadership had more powerful effect than transactional leadership did on organizational commitment. In addition, job satisfaction showed moderating effects between charismatic leadership and organizational commitment. This study concluded with discussion and implications for hotel managers and future research directions.

군자리더십측정을 위한 문항개발연구

  • 리더의 리더십이 팀 또는 조직의 효과성에 기여하기 위해서는 리더의 영향력을 구성원들이 수용하고 목표달성을 위해 노력하도록 구성원들을 동기부여시켜야 한다. 그런데, 리더의 영향력을 수용하고 추종하는데 구성원들간에 공유되어 있는 리더에 대한 표상에 리더가 일치하여야 한다. 이상적 리더에 대한 공유된 표상에는 그 사회문화에서 지배적인 가치규범이 중요한 역할을 하게 된다. 본 연구는 이러한 가치의 역할이 중요하다는 인식에 착안하여 한국인의 사고와 행동방식에 지대한 영향을 미쳐온 전통적인 유교적 가치에서 가정하고 있는 이상적인 인간상으로서의 군자를 현대 경영조직상황하에서 리더십의 관점에서 살펴볼 것을 제안한다. 이를 위해 사서(四書)-논어, 맹자, 중용, 대학에서 제시된 군자의 성격 또는 행동적 특징들을 내용분석하여 리더십 구조를 정의내리고 이를 측정할 수 있는 설문문장을 개발하였다. 그 결과, 군자리더십은 자기계발(思學), 인간존중(忠恕), 예절중시(禮), 공정함(義), 사람 관리의 5개 요인구조를 가지고 있음을 발견하였다. 추후 연구에서는 개발된 설문문항의 신뢰성과 타당성을 검증하고, 본 연구에서 개발한 군자리더십이 실제 경영조직에서 경영자의 리더십효과성을 잘 설명해주는 변별력 있는 개념인지 검증하는 노력이 필요하다. 이는 서양의 보편적으로 효과적인 리더십 유형, 예를 들면, 변혁적 리더십 유형과 같은 경쟁모형의 도입을 통해 보다 더욱 생동감 있는 측정이 가능할 것이다. 아울러 유교적 가치와 현대적 가치로 대변되는 합리성에 기반한 서구의 가치가 군자리더십과 어떤 관계를 가지고 있는 지 살펴 볼 필요가 있다.

  • 게임의 교육적 목적으로의 활용에 대해 관심이 늘고 있다. 이러한 흐름 속에서 최근 게임을 통한 리더십 함양이 화두가 되고 있다. 각 기업체에서는 직원들의 리더십 함양을 위해 게임을 활용하고자 다양한 시도를 꾀하고 있기도 하다. 특히 이 같은 흐름에는 무엇보다 MMORPG 게임이 두드러진다. 왜냐하면 MMORPG 에는 현실 세계와 흡사한 정치, 경제, 사회 시스템이 내재되어 다수의 플레이어와 협동, 경쟁을 하며 목표를 달성해나가는 과정이 담겨있기 때문이다. 하지만 현실과 많은 유사성을 가지고 있는 가상세계이지만 현실과 동일한 잣대로 가상세계에서의 사용자의 성향을 판단하기에는 아직 무리가 있다. 분명 게임이라는 가상공간과 현실세계는 명백한 차이점이 존재하기 때문이다. 그럼에도 불구하고 게임 내에서의 리더십 유형과 현실에서의 리더십 유형간의 직접적인 상관관계에 대한 연구가 아직 이루어지지 않았다는 점에 초점을 맞추었다. 다시 말해 게임을 통한 현실에서의 리더십 함양의 가능성을 언급하기에 앞서 근본적으로 현실과 가상공간에서의 리더십 양상의 상관성에 대한 연구가 선행되어야 한다고 생각된다. 본 연구는 우선 현실세계에서의 리더십 성향이 가상세계에서도 동일하게 적용되는지 1군주의 사용자를 중심으로 살펴본다. 그리고 군주 사용자의 심층인터뷰를 통하여 게임 내에서 리더십을 발현시킬 수 있는 여러 요소 (긍정적 요소 장애요소 등)를 살펴보고 향후 리더십 함양을 위한 게임 기획에 도움이 되고자 한다.

  • Understanding the cultures of other countries is not as fast as the speed of internationalization. As globalization advances, interest and research on the characteristics of national culture differences have been increasing. One of the important challenges for business leaders is the ability to understand and deal with cross-cultural management. But there is a lack of research on cross-cultural management and suitable type of leadership. In order to achieve this objective, this study, adopts Hofstede cultural dimensions, and finds the impact of these kinds of leadership on organizational performance. Feminism, collectivism, power distance, and uncertainty avoidance were classified into four factors of cultural orientation that affect the selection of initiating structure and consideration leadership. In this research, among virtue factors of leadership, structure initiation and leadership consideration are focused on how to affect organizational effectiveness of the result factor by national culture. This research has concentrated on how leadership-styles among national-cultures have influence on organizational-effectiveness.

The Effect of Dietitian종s Leadership on the Job Satisfaction of Employees in Foodservice Organizations (영양사의 리더십과 조리종사원의 직무만족도에 관한 연구)

  • This study is to help management of foodservices with the means of preparing a favorable food service environment which will likely improve employees' job satisfaction and present the plans for Quality leadership which are capable of effectively improving the aims of food service. Transformational leadership (4.08) that includes charisma (4.12), intellectual stimulation (4.12) and individual consideration (4.01) was more strongly observed by employees than transactional leadership (3.35) that includes contingent reward (3.99) and management by exception (2.70). According to employees' age, it was shown that individuals over 40 observed transformational leadership significantly more frequently than those below 30. When considering academic background, both transformational leadership and transactional leadership were more strongly observed in the group of lower education. When the type of employment was considered, contract workers showed higher individual consideration and contingent reward than regular workers. Also, when the consideration of working places was taken into account, employees who were employed by schools presented a stronger observance of transactional leadership than employees in industrial cooperation or hospitals. Employees, especially in schools, were more receptive to dietitians' contingent reward than hospital employees. Regarding age, dietitians below the age of 40 had stronger transformational leadership skills, but there was no significant difference in the case of transactional leadership. According to these items of leadership, dietitians over 40 felt stronger in management without exception. Relationship with co-workers was the highest among job satisfaction (3.84), coworkers (4.00), stability (3.60), autonomy (3.76). In the collective food service organization, there was a positive correlation between management expectations and the expectations of the dietitians' management styles and employees' job satisfaction.

Effect of Leadership Style of CEO on Self-leadership and Organizational Effectiveness (상사의 리더십 유형이 셀프리더십과 조직유효성에 미치는 영향)

  • This research recognizes the importance of the study on leadership for the management of enterprises. Among the financial institutes, the employees at the banks were targeted in this study to empirically analyze the effects of superiors' leadership (transformational leadership, transactional leadership, and servant leadership) on the subordinates' self-leadership and organizational effectiveness (organizational commitment and organizational citizenship behavior). In particular, this study analyzed the influencing relationship between the superior's leadership style and the subordinates' self-leadership, to identify the leadership style most suitable for enhancing the subordinates' self-leadership and to further determine if it can lead to the enhancement of organizational commitment and organizational citizenship behavior. The employees at approximately 50 branches of domestic large corporate banks located in Seoul and Gyeonggi area were targeted, and the survey was conducted in the form of self-response questionnaire. The statistical analysis was conducted on a total of 338 valid data by using structural equation modeling analysis. The result of the analysis was as follows. The transformational and servant leadership of the superior had a positive effect on the self-leadership of the subordinate, and transactional leadership did not show a significant effect. Furthermore, self-leadership was shown to have a positive effect on organizational commitment and organizational citizenship behavior.

An Integrative Leadership Contingency Model for the Effective Leadership (효과적인 리더십 발휘를 위한 통합적 리더십 상황 모델)

  • The purpose of this paper is to develop and suggest an integrative leadership contingency framework of leadership that will state the situational and psychological factors under which leadership effect should be maximized. Our leadership model presents that situational factors, including development, circumstances urgency and task structure, proposes which of transformational, transactional, empowering, and authentic leadership solutions. Also, our integrative leadership contingency model in turn results in a combination of the level of follower commitment, intrinsic motivation, and individual creativity based on inductive research method. This integrative leadership model suggested here has significant contributions for leadership effectiveness and future leadership research agenda. Next leadership research could experimentally examine the structural relationships between each of the leadership styles and levels of contingency and psychological factors of followers.
