Study on Improving Stability of 6×6 Skid-Steering Vehicle by Employing Skyhook Control Method (스카이 훅 제어를 이용한 6×6 견마 차량의 주행 안정성 향상 방안 연구)

  • In order to protect equipment such as controllers, it is important to improve the driving stability of $6{\times}6$ skidsteering vehicles driven on rough roads. The estimation and improvement of the driving stability should be based on the vertical acceleration, roll acceleration, and pitch acceleration. These variables will be used to achieve multivariable control and increase the vehicle driving stability. In this study, to improve vehicle stability by reducing the vertical acceleration, roll angular acceleration, and pitch angular acceleration, the skyhook control method is employed to control MR(Magnetorheological) dampers equipped with the vehicle. The proposed control system is tested in multibody dynamic simulation.

A Study on the Effects of Hysteretic Characteristics of Leaf Springs on Handling of a Large-Sized Truck (판스프링의 이력특성이 대형트럭의 조종성능에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구)

  • This paper performs static and dynamic tests of a multi-leaf spring and a tapered leaf spring to investigate their hysteretic characteristics. In the static test, trapezoidal input load is applied with 0.1Hz excitation frequency and with zero initial loading conditions. In the dynamic test, sinusoidal input load is applied with five excitation amplitudes and three excitation frequencies. In these tests, static and dynamic hysteretic characteristics of the multi-leaf spring and the tapered leaf spring are compared, and, the effects of excitation amplitudes and frequencies on dynamic spring rate are also shown. In this paper, actual vehicle tests are performed to study the effects of hysteretic characteristics of the large-sized truck's handling performance. The multi-leaf spring or the tapered leaf spring is used in the front suspension. The actual vehicle test is performed in a double lane change track with three velocities. Lateral acceleration, yaw rate and roll angle are measured using a gyro-meter located at the mass center of the cab. The test results showed that a large-sized truck with a tapered leaf spring needs to have an additional apparatus such as roll stabilizer bar to increase the roll stabilizer due to hysteretic characteristics.

SATELLITE'S LAUNCH WINDOW CALCULATION BY ASTRODYNAMICAL METHODS (천체역학적 방법을 이용한 인공위성의 최적발시간대)

  • We can launch satellites only at a certain time which satisfies special conditions, since the current techniques cannot overcome these constraints. Launch window constraints are the eclipse duration, solar aspect angle, attitude control, launch site and the launch vehicle constraints, etc. In this paper, launch window is calculated that satisfies all these constraints. In calculating launch window, the basic concepts are relative locations of the sun-satellite-earth system and relative velocities of these, and these requires geometric consideration for each satellite. Launch window calculation was applied to Kitsat 2(low earth orbit) and Koreasat(geostationary orbit). The result is shown in the form of a graph that has dates on the X-axis and the corresponding times of the given day on the Y-axis.

  • Tilt rotor aircraft is a multi-configuration airplane which has three independent flight modes; helicopter, conversion, and aiplane. The control surface mixer resign is reqctired to generate and distribute efficient control forces and moments in each flight mode. In the conversion mode, the thrust vector is changed from helicopter mode to airplane, therefore the thrust vector makes undesired forces and moments which affect on pitch, roll and yaw dynamics. This paper describes the design results of control surface mixer design which minimize the undesired forces and moments due to nacelles tilting angle change for 4O% scaled model.

다목적실용위성 3호 초기 궤도조정 결과 분석

  • 다목적실용위성 3호는 2012년 5월 발사되어, 위성 기능점검을 위한 시험을 성공적으로 완료하였다. 위성이 발사체로부터 분리된 이후 임무궤도(고도 685km, 승교점 지방시 13시 30분을 갖는 태양동기궤도)를 획득하기 위해서는 궤도조정이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 다목적실용위성 3호의 초기운영 기간 동안 수행한 총 10번의 궤도조정 계획 및 결과에 대해 기술하였다. 궤도조정 1 단계에서는 궤도조정 절차 및 기능을 점검하기 위해 6번의 시험 궤도조정을 순차적으로 수행하였고 이후 2 단계에서는 임무궤도 진입을 위해 4번의 궤도조정을 실시하였다. 궤도조정을 위해서는 원하는 추력분사 방향을 맞추기 위해 롤 방향 또는 피치 방향의 자세제어가 필요한데, 추력기를 사용하여 자세를 기동하는 모드(Del-V Mode)와 휠을 사용하여 자세를 기동하는 모드(Fine Del-V Mode)로 구분된다. 시험 궤도조정에서는 우선적으로 두 가지 모드에 대한 모드전환 시험을 실시하여 위성체 및 지상국 운영절차에 대한 이상 유무를 점검하였고, 이후 추력기 분사량을 10초로 설정하여 예측 대비 실제 궤도변경 결과값을 확인하였다. 시험 궤도조정의 결과를 토대로 본 궤도조정에서는 임무궤도를 획득하기 위한 경사각 조정 및 고도 조정을 수행하였다. 경사각 조정 시에는 승교점 지방시의 변화량을 줄이고, 이후 자연 교란력에 의한 궤도변화를 고려하여 목표궤도를 계획하였다. 또한, 고도 조정 단계에서는 연료 사용량 및 이심률 변화를 최소화 할 수 있도록 전형적인 호만 궤도천이 방식을 적용하였다. 궤도조정 결과 당초 목표한 값을 정확하게 달성하였고, 궤도조정 이후 궤도변화도 장기간 동안 임무궤도 범위를 유지함을 확인할 수 있었다.

  • In this paper recognized for trajectory using Condensation algorithm. In this pater used fuzzy controller for recognized trajectory using fuzzy reasoning. The fuzzy system tract to the three-dimensional space for raw and roll movement. The joint angle ${\theta}_1$ of the manipulator rotate from $0^{\circ}\;to\;360^{\circ}$, and the joint angle ${\theta}_2$ rotate from $0^{\circ}\;to\;180^{\circ}$. The moving object of velocity display for recognition without error using Condensation algorithm. The tracking system demonstrated the reliability of proposed algorithm through simulation against used trajectory.

Ride Quality of a Heavy Duty Truck on a Single Bump Road (범프로드에서의 대형트럭 승차감 평가)

  • When it is considered that many vehicle rides on the road and ride quality is an important method to evaluate vehicle performance with handling, running-over-bump manoeuvre may be suitable for testing ride quality. In this paper, a computed model has roughly steering system and lumped mass, connected by joint each rigid body, and suspension that has beam elements and has shock absorber as force element to represent nonlinear characteristics. A computer simulations for passing over a bump were made with two velocities. One side of vehicle passed over bump in due consideration of driver's habit that driver is subject to avoid a bad ride quality. On simulation, vertical acceleration, pitch angle and roll angle were measured at the mass center of chassis each case.

  • A burr has been defined as undesirable projection of material formed as the result of plastic flow from a cutting or shearing operation. It is unavoidable in all kinds of machining operation. As a result, burr makes troubles on manufacturing process due to deburring cost, quality of products and productivity. In face milling operation, burrs are formed along five edges on the workpiece. In this study, the primary interest is about exit burr The influence of the cutting parameters on the formation of exit burrs in face milling will be described experimentally. Using the results of experimental study, burr types are classified according to appearance and formation mechanism in exit burr. The burr formation mechanism in each type of burr is suggested. Data bases are developed to predict burr formation result.

Extracting Comparative Elements from Comparative Sentences (비교 문장으로부터 비교 요소 자동 추출)

  • 본 논문은 비교 마이닝(comparison mining) 의 일환인 비교 요소 자동 추출에 관하여 연구한다. 비교 마이닝은 텍스트 마이닝의 한 분야로서 대용량의 텍스트를 대상으로 비교 관계롤 자동 분석하며, 비교 문장인지 아닌지를 식별하는 단계, 비교 타입을 분류하는 단계, 다양한 비교 요소들을 추출하는 단계, 추출된 요소를 분석 및 요약하는 단계 등을 거치게 된다. 본 연구에서는 특정 타입의 비교 문장이 주어졌을때, 그 문장에서 비교 요소를 자동으로 추출하는 단계의 과제를 수행하며, 우열 비교 타입 및 최상급 타입 문장들을 대상으로 비교 주체, 비교 대상, 비교 술어를 추출한다. 실험 과정으로는, 우선 비교 요소 후보들을 선정하고, 그 후 각 요소별로 확률을 계산하여 가장 높은 수치를 기록한 요소를 정답으로 채택하게 된다. 확률 계산은 지지 벡터 기계 (Support Vector Machine)를 이용한다. 인터넷 상의 다양한 도메인에서 추출된 비교 문장들을 대상으로 비교 요소 추출을 수출한 결과, 정확도 86.81 %의 우수한 성능을 산출 할 수 있었다.
