로타리 압축기의 베인, 슬롯부 윤활해석 (Lubrication Analysis at the Vane & Slot Parts of Rotary Compressors)

  • Rotary compressor is one of the most useful mechanism that is widely applied in refrigeration and air-conditioning systems. That is due to character of rotary compressor -compact, simple etc.While there is a lot of strong points, there is room for improvement because it is composed of many parts which have wear problem, friction losses and leakage. In this paper, theoretical investigation about vane and slot parts at which we observe severe wear is carried out. Through the study of lubrication, the behavior of vane during one cycle can be predicted and the cause of wear at slot will be discovered. To solve the equations, fletcher-powell method is applied. The result of analysis show that vane bevell to the slot part with discharge port before rotation of shaft is 180 degree and bevell to the slot part with suction port after 180 degree. The motion of vane is divided 3 mode that depends on behavior of vane. This paper define the first mode when vane tilt to the compression chamber, the second mode when vane tilt to the suction chamber, and the third mode when vane move straightway.

  • 투포원 연사기는 스핀들 1회전에 2회의 꼬임을 부가하여 실의 신축성과 인장강도 및 내마모성을 증가시키며, 특수한 목적의 의장사를 만드는 섬유기계이다. 스핀들 유니트는 고속 회전중에 안정화된 운동이 지속되도록 구조설계가 요구되는 핵심장치로서 스핀들 유니트의 동특성 해석은 고속 스핀들 유니트설계의 최적화를 도모할 수 있을 것이다. 스핀들 유니트는 블레이드와 로타리 디스크로 구성되어 있으며, 스핀들 축에 대하여 회전체 형상을 유지 하고 있다. 동특성 해석을 수행하기 위하여 전달 매트릭스 해석법을 정의하고 해석용 프로그램인 SPINDLE을 이용하여 비틀림과 굽힘 고유진동수를 해석하였으며, 운전회전수에서 변위모우드를 분석하였다.

로타리 경운날의 마모에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Wear of Rotary Blades)

  • Wearness has been a major failure criterion in Korean-made rotary blade. However, few studies have been conducted to improve it. In this study, the fundamental data obtained from the measurement of wearness and failure of rotary blade were analyzed to provide a guideline for the design of rotary blades. For the straight part(about 20-23 em from bolt hole) from the bolt hole to bending point of rotary blade, modifications were proposed for improvements, however, for the portion from bending point to tip was made no design recommendations because the failure behavior of that portion was difficult to analyze with the experimental data. The results are summarized as follows. 1. The current V-shape section has to be moved about 5 em toward the bending point of rotary blade. 2. The section modulus at the portion about 5-7 em distant from bolt hole has to be increased about 15-20 %. 3. The V-shape section has to be changed into U-shape to reduce the on account of recieving initial stress in blades. 4. The radius of curvature of the neck(the portion about 5-7 cm apart from bolt hole) has to be made larger to decrease the stress concentration.

SEA를 이용한 쉘과 실린더의 최적 용접 조건에 관한 연구 (Study on Optimum Welding Position between Shell and Cylinder based on SEA.)

  • The overall aim of this paper is to determine coupling loss factor of welding point between shell and cylinder using loss factor and structural loss factor. For this purpose, two kinds of loss factor were adopted. One is loss factor of each sub structure, another is structural loss factor based on the complex welded or assembled structure. Using these two parameters, it is possible to derive the coupling loss factor which represent characteristic condition of SEA theory. Coupling loss factor of conjunction in complex structure was expressed as power balance equation. The derived equation for a coupling loss factor has been simplified on the assumption of one way(nl- directional) power flow between multi-sub structures. Using these conditions, it is possible to find the equation of coupling loss factor expressed as above two loss factors. To check the effectiveness of above equation, this paper used two stage application. The first approach was application between simple cylinder and shell. The next was adopted rotary compressor. Rotary compressor has three main conjunctions between shell and internal vibration part. This equation was applied to find out the optimum welding Point with respect to reduce the noise propagation. It shows the effective tool to evaluate the coupling loss factor in complex structure

경량골재 로타리킬른의 운전최적화를 위한 석탄연소 및 원료입자 승온특성 해석 (Analysis of Coal Combustion and Particle Temperature Profiles in a Rotary Kiln for Production of Light-weight Aggregate)

  • Bottom ash from a coal-fired power plant is usually landfilled to a nearby site, which causes a growing environmental concern and increased operating costs. One way of recycling the bottom ash is to produce light-weight aggregate (LWA) using a rotary kiln. This study investigated the temperature profiles of raw LWA particles in a rotary kiln to identify the range of operating conditions appropriate for ideal bloating. For this purpose, a new simulation method was developed to integrate a 1-dimensional model for the bed of LWA particles and the computational fluid dynamics (CFD) for the fuel combustion and gas flow. The temperature of LWA particles was found very sensitive to the changes in the air preheating temperature and excess air ratio. Therefore, an accurate control of the operation parameters was essential to achieve the bloating of LWA particles without excessive sintering or melting.

  • The model interrupters of $SF_6$ gas electromagnetic contactor whose ratings are the voltage of 7.2kV and the short circuit current of 4.0kA have been designed and manufactured on the basis of theoretical and computational analysis for its development. The eddy current analysis, the magnetic field analysis and the calculation of the rotational force on arcs have been conducted using FLUX2D package. The short circuit current interrupting tests have been conducted to the model interrupters using the simplified capacitive synthetic test circuit in KERI. The results show that the model interrupters have a sufficient interrupting capability and the new design concept is proper for a good interrupting performance.

  • 무인기에 적용되는 다양한 추진기관 기술은 항공의 중요한 개발 방향 중의 하나인 무인기의 비행 성능에 크게 관련이 있다. 본 논문에서는 무인기의 내연기관(왕복엔진, 로타리엔진, 가스터빈엔진), 하이브리드 및 순수한 전기 추진시스템에 대하여 조사를 수행하였다. 특히 이러한 추진기관들의 분류, 작동사이클, 특성 및 주요 기술들에 대하여 제시하였다. 그러므로 미래의 무인기 추진시스템의 개발 틀, 종합적인 예측 및 다양한 비교를 정립하는데 도움을 줄 것으로 판단된다.

  • To protect the ozone layer, R22 will be replaced with HFCs. R407C is a leading candidate as alternative refrigerant for air conditioner due to its similar thermodynamic characteristics with R22. In replacing R22 with R407C, the compatibility with lubricating oil is of major concern. Polyol ester (POE) oil among the synthetic oils is considered to be the best lubricant for use with R407C because of good electrical properties and miscibility. However, lubricating ability of mixture of R407C/POE oil is lower than that of R22/mineral oil due to the production of acid by hydrolysis which causes corrosive wear. Therefore, to minimize water content, it is needed to develop a molecular sieve desiccant which is compatible with R407C and ester oil. This paper discusses (1) the change of properties of POE oil when current molecular seive is used, (2) the effects of POE oils and additives on durability of compressor. Through compressor life test and bench wear test, it was found that inadequate use of POE oils and additives may promote the deteriation of molecular sieve, resulting in decrease of durability of compressor.

NAH기법을 이용한 공조용 컴프레서 소음저감 응용 (NAH method for reducing sound source generated in air-conditioning rotary compressor)

  • 본 논문에서는 공조용 로타리 컴프레서에서 발생하는 소음을 줄이기 위하여 음향 홀로그래피를 이용하는 방법을 다룬다. 소음이 방사되는 것을 음향 홀로그래피를 이용하여 정상적인 컴프레서와 문제가 있는 컴프레서에 대하여 측정하였다. 음향 홀로그램은 2가지 컴프레서의 다수의 격자점에서 측정 및 예측하였고, 컴프레서 표면 위로 재구성하였다. 2개의 마이크로폰을 사용하여 1344개의 측정 점에서 측정을 수행하였고, 그 중 1개의 마이크로폰은 스캐닝용이고 또 다른 하나의 마이크로폰은 레퍼런스용이다. 음향 홀로그래피는 소음원을 그래픽적으로 보여주기 위한 좋은 도구이다. 본 논문에서 컴프레서의 표면에서 소음 원 위치를 정확히 찾을 수 있었고, 그 소음원은 소음을 발생시키는 부품과 관계된 것이었다. 음향 홀로그래피는 가전제품에 대해 소음 저감 방법으로서 유용함을 알 수 있다.

사염화탄소($CCl_4$) 소각을 위한 로타리 킬른 소각로 3차원 난류반응 컴퓨터 프로그램 개발( I ) (Development of a 3-Dimensional Turbulent Reaction Computer program for the Incineration of a Carbon Tetrachloride($CCl_4$) ( I ))

  • In this study, it is investigated that the possibility of the numerical simulation for the incineration of the hazardous material, crbon tetrachloride($CCl_4$). A 3-dimensional numerical technology is applied for turbulent reacting flows of the full-scale Dow Chemical incinerator. The calculations are made by a CRAY-2S, super computer. The major parameters considered in this study are kiln revolution rate (rpm), filling ratio of the solid waste(f), burner Injection velocity and angle, and turbulent air jets for swirl. And the employed turbulent reaction model is the eddy break-up model which is a kind of fast chemistry model assuming general equilibrium and used for a premixed flame. The calculated flow fields are presented and discussed. 1) The presence of turbulent air nozzles for swirl gives rise to visible increase of the convective motion over the region of the solid waste. This implies the possibility to enhance the mixing of the waste with the surrounding all and thereby to reduce thermal and species stratification, which were reported in a large rotary kiln operation. 2) Considering that the location of the recirculation region has a strong relation with the heating rate of the solid waste, the control of the recirculation region by the burner injection angle Is quite desirable in the sense of the flexible design of the rotary kiln incinerator for a carbon tetrachloride. 3) Finally, it is found that the eddy break-up model Is not suitable for carbon tetrachloride($CCl_4$) because this model is not incorporated the flame inhibition trend due to the presence $CCl_4$compound.
