  • 국방 부문에 종사하는 관리자들은 국방정보시스템 사업관리에 있어서 최신정보기술에 대한 기본적인 사항은 알고있어야 효율적이고 효과적이며 성공적인 사업관리를 진행할 수 있을 것이다. 국방 부문에 종사하는 관리자들이 저비용 고효율의 국방정보시스템을 건설하고 운영 유지관리 하기 위하여 알아야 할 핵심 및 최신정보기술은 크게 인공지능기술, 멀티미디어 정보화 기술, 가상현실 기술, 시뮬레이션 기술, 텔레프레즌스 기술, 나노테크놀로지 기술, 데이터베이스 기술, 병렬처리 기술, 로봇공학 기술, 소프트웨어 공학에 관련된 기술 등이 있다. 그러나 국방부문에 종사하는 정보통신 전문 인력을 제외한 관리자들이 국방관련 사업관리를 수행하면서 정보기술에 대한 이해 수준이 비교적 낮기 때문에 효율적으로 국방사업을 준비, 계획, 추진하기 어려운 실정이다. 따라서 국방부문에 종사하는 관리자들이 정보기술을 알기 쉽게 이해할 수 있도록 국방부문 핵심지능형정보기술 발전 및 군 활용방안을 이해하기 쉽도록 작성하며 효율적인 사업관리가 이루어질 수 있는 방안을 연구하였다. 본 논문은 국방부문핵심 지능정보기술 식별 및 활용방안을 연구하여 핵심적으로 식별된 사항들을 우리 국방부문의 $C^4$I(지휘, 통제, 통신, 컴퓨터시스템)시스템, 내장형 무기시스템, 각종 교육훈련 정보시스템, 자원관리 정보시스템 등에 어떻게 적용할 것이며 적용시 기대효과는 무엇인가를 제시토록 하여 국방부문에 종사하는 관리자들이 각종 국방사업을 조정, 통제, 확인, 감독, 준비/계획하면서 참고하여 저비용 고효율의 국방관련 각층 사업을 관리할 수 있는 능력을 배양시키도록 연구를 수행하였다. 국방관련 각종 사업을 관리할 수 있는 능력을 배양시키도록 연구를 수행하였다. 국방부문 핵심지능정보기술 발전 및 활용 방안에 포함될 주요 내용을 요약하여 제시하였다.의 경향성을 나타내는 오차 주기(error cyc1e)를 이용함으로써 고객들의 수요의 경향성을 좀 더 세밀한 부분까지 파악할 수 있게 해 준다.ction, secondary electron microscopy, atomic force microscoy, $\alpha$-step, Raman scattering spectroscopu, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy 및 micro hardness tester를 이용하여 기판 bias 전압이 DLC 박막의 특성에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. 분석결과 본 연구에서 제작된 DLC 박막은 탄소와 수소만으로 구성되어 있으며, 비정질 상태임을 알 수 있었다. 기판 bias 전압의 증가에 따라 박막의 두께가 감소됨을 알 수 있었고, -150V에서는 박막이 거의 만들어지지 않았으며, -200V에서는 기판 표면이 식각되었다. 이것은 기판 bias 전압과 ECR 플라즈마에 의한 이온충돌 효과 때문으로 판단되며, 150V 이하에서는 증착되는 양보다 re-sputtering 되는 양이 더 많을 것으로 생각된다. 기판 bias 전압을 증가시킬수록 플라즈마에 의한 이온충돌 현상이 두드러져 탄소와 결합하고 있던 수소원자들이 떨어져 나가는 탈수소화 (dehydrogenation) 현상을 확인할 수 있었으며, 이것은 C-H 결합에너지가 C-C 결합이나 C=C 결합보다 약하여 수소 원자가 비교적 해리가 잘되므로 이러한 현상이 일어난다고 판단된다. 결합이 끊어진 탄소 원자들은 다른 탄소원자들과 결합하여 3차원적 cross-link를 형성시켜 나가면서 내부 압축응력을 증가시키는 것으로 알려져 있으며, hardness 시험 결과로 이것을 확인할 수 있었다. 그리고 표면거칠기는 기판 bias 전압을 증가시킬수록 더 smooth 해짐을 확인

A Study on the Effectiveness of Risk Assessment for School Food Service Workers (학교 급식종사자를 대상으로 한 위험성평가의 실효성에 관한 연구)

  • Since 2017, the Occupational Safety and Health Act has been fully applied to school food services, and risk assessments have been implemented since 2019. The introduction was slow compared to other industries and was evaluated by non-professional nutritionists, so there was a limit to establishing the system. All schools under the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education apply the KRAS every year in accordance with the OSH Act for school foodservice and a notice from the Ministry of Employment and Labor. A risk assessment is applied according to legal regulations. On the other hand, the effectiveness of risk assessment has been questioned because the frequency and intensity criteria of the risk are qualitative and subjective. Based on the accident statistics of catering workers, the frequency and intensity criteria of risk were presented quantitatively and objectively, and a risk assessment was conducted by applying a new calculation standard for some work during the catering service and compared with current risk assessment results. The risk was increased, and the improved effectiveness was confirmed by the specific suggestions for improvement. Thus, the pilot evaluation for the entire food service should be expanded, and the feasibility confirmed. The pilot evaluation should be applied to all schools to enhance the effectiveness and operability of the risk assessment.

A Study on the Technology Analysis of Marine Unmanned System for Determination of Core Technology Requirements (핵심기술 소요결정을 위한 해양 무인체계 요구기술 분석 연구)

  • The fourth industrial revolution based on the intelligent revolution has revolutionized the society as a whole, and it has also affected the defense sector. Various aspects of the war have been changing with the development of technology. In particular, various strategies such as research and development of core technology related to defense unmanned system field and infrastructure are being established based on the fourth industrial revolution technology. In this paper, we have conducted a study to select the technology required for maritime unmanned systems, which can be considered as a priority consideration for the future development of the core technology to be secured prior to the development of the weapon system. First, the core technology prioritization model for the marine unmanned system was established, and the technology fields of the unmanned robot were reclassified and integrated in the related literature such as the classification of the defense technology standard. For the empirical analysis, a questionnaire survey was conducted for 12 specialists who are engaged in the planning of weapons systems, and the importance of technical fields that require development in the development of marine unmanned systems was analyzed. As a result, it was possible to identify the key technology areas that should be considered in selecting the key technologies proposed by the military groups, research institutes, and companies. This could contribute to the establishment of the technology roadmap to develop the marine unmanned system from the future point of view.

Molecular Dynamics Simulation on the Thermal Boundary Resistance of a Thin-film and Experimental Validation (분자동역학을 이용한 박막의 열경계저항 예측 및 실험적 검증)

  • Non-equilibrium molecular dynamics simulation on the thermal boundary resistance(TBR) of an aluminum(Al)/silicon(Si) interface was performed in the present study. The constant heat flux across the Si/Al interface was simulated by adding the kinetic energy in hot Si region and removing the same amount of the energy from the cold Al region. The TBR estimated from the sharp temperature drop at the interface was independent of heat flux and equal to $5.13{\pm}0.17K{\cdot}m^2/GW$ at 300K. The simulation result was experimentally confirmed by the time-domain thermoreflectance technique. A 90nm thick Al film was deposited on a Si(100) wafer using an e-beam evaporator and the TBR on the film/substrate interface was measured using the time-domain thermoreflectance technique based on a femtosecond laser system. A numerical solution of the transient heat conduction equation was obtained using the finite difference method to estimate the TBR value. Experimental results were compared to the prediction and discussions on the nanoscale thermal transport phenomena were made.

  • Although 2D Object detection has been largely improved in the past years with the advance of deep learning methods and the use of large labeled image datasets, 3D object detection from 2D imagery is a challenging problem in a variety of applications such as robotics, due to the lack of data and diversity of appearances and shapes of objects within a category. Google has just announced the launch of Objectron that has a novel data pipeline using mobile augmented reality session data. However, it also is corresponding to 2D-driven 3D object detection technique. This study explores more mature 2D object detection method, and applies its 2D projection to Objectron 3D lifting system. Most object detection methods use bounding boxes to encode and represent the object shape and location. In this work, we explore a stochastic representation of object regions using Gaussian distributions. We also present a similarity measure for the Gaussian distributions based on the Hellinger Distance, which can be viewed as a stochastic Intersection-over-Union. Our experimental results show that the proposed Gaussian representations are closer to annotated segmentation masks in available datasets. Thus, less accuracy problem that is one of several limitations of Objectron can be relaxed.

Fabrication and Electromechanical Behaviors of a SWNT/PANi Composite Film Actuator (탄소나노튜브/도전성폴리머 복합재 엑츄에이터의 제조 및 특성실험)

  • The improved SWNTs/PANi composite actuator films applicable to an artificial muscle were fabricated successfully using a new process of manufacture that consists of 90% pure single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWNT) and chemical polymerization. PANi is electrically conducting polyaniline polymer. The conductivities of the composite SWNTs/PANi film-type actuators and the pure PANi films fabricated were measured as 56.15 S/cm and 17.38 S/cm, respectively, by the 4-prove method. The conductivity of the composite actuator is 3.2 times higher than the pure PANi film. The fabricated composite actuator showed higher conductivity than any other similar ones. The quality of samples was investigated by an electron scanning microscope (SEM). To measure the actuating strains, a specially designed beam balance apparatus was developed and strains of the composite actuators was measured by a laser displacement sensor subjected to electric currents. During the operation, the sample was soaked in the $NaNO_3$ solution and the sine-wave voltage in the range of $+1V{\sim}-1V$ was applied. The length of the composite actuator changed from $l_0=12.690$ mm to $l_1=12.733$ so that the change of length was l=0.043 mm and the strain was 0.34 %. This is a very high strain for this kind of a composite actuator. Other result reported by Tahhan showed 0.23 % strain, so that the present result is improved by 48%.

Analysis of Flow Velocity in the Channel according to the Type of Revetments Blocks Using 3D Numerical Model (3차원 수치모델을 활용한 호안 블록 형상에 따른 하도 내 유속 분석)

  • Climate change affects the safety of river revetments, especially those associated with external flooding. Research on slope reinforcement has been actively conducted to enhance revetment safety. Recently, technologies for producing embankment blocks using recycled materials have been developed. However, it is essential to analyze the impact of block shapes on the flow characteristics of exclusion zones for revetment safety. Therefore, this study investigates the influence of revetment block shapes on the hydraulic characteristics of revetment surfaces through 3D numerical simulations. Three block shapes were proposed, and numerical analyses were performed by installing the blocks in an idealized river channel. FLOW-3D was used for the 3D numerical simulations, and the variations in maximum flow velocity, bed velocity beneath the revetment, and maximum shear stress were analyzed based on the shapes of the revetment blocks. The results indicate that for irregularly sized and spaced revetment blocks, such as the natural stone-type vegetation block (Block A), when connected to the revetment in an irregular manner, the changes in flow velocity in the revetment installation zone are more significant than those for Blocks B and C. It is anticipated that considering the topographical characteristics of rivers in the future will enable the design of revetment blocks with practical applicability in the field.

Smart Electric Mobility Operating System Integrated with Off-Grid Solar Power Plants in Tanzania: Vision and Trial Run (탄자니아의 태양광 발전소와 통합된 전기 모빌리티 운영 시스템 : 비전과 시범운행)

  • To respond to the threat of global warming, countries around the world are promoting the spread of renewable energy and reduction of carbon emissions. In accordance with the United Nation's Sustainable Development Goal to combat climate change and its impacts, global automakers are pushing for a full transition to electric vehicles within the next 10 years. Electric vehicles can be a useful means for reducing carbon emissions, but in order to reduce carbon generated in the stage of producing electricity for charging, a power generation system using eco-friendly renewable energy is required. In this study, we propose a smart electric mobility operating system integrated with off-grid solar power plants established in Tanzania, Africa. By applying smart monitoring and communication functions based on Arduino-based computing devices, information such as remaining battery capacity, battery status, location, speed, altitude, and road conditions of an electric vehicle or electric motorcycle is monitored. In addition, we present a scenario that communicates with the surrounding independent solar power plant infrastructure to predict the drivable distance and optimize the charging schedule and route to the destination. The feasibility of the proposed system was verified through test runs of electric motorcycles. In considering local environmental characteristics in Tanzania for the operation of the electric mobility system, factors such as eco-friendliness, economic feasibility, ease of operation, and compatibility should be weighed. The smart electric mobility operating system proposed in this study can be an important basis for implementing the SDGs' climate change response.

Utilizing Visual Information for Non-contact Predicting Method of Friction Coefficient (마찰계수의 비접촉 추정을 위한 영상정보 활용방법)

  • In this paper, we proposed an algorithm for utilizing visual information for non-contact predicting method of friction coefficient. Coefficient of friction is very important in driving on road and traversing over obstacle. Our algorithm is based on terrain classification for visual image. The proposed method, non-contacting approach, has advantage over other methods that extract material characteristic of road by sensors contacting road surface. This method is composed of learning group(experiment, grouping material) and predicting friction coefficient group(Bayesian classification prediction function). Every group include previous work of vision. Advantage of our algorithm before entering such terrain can be very useful for avoiding slippery areas. We make experiment on measurement of friction coefficient of terrain. This result is utilized real friction coefficient as prediction method. We show error between real friction coefficient and predicted friction coefficient for performance evaluation of our algorithm.

Directionally Adaptive Aliasing and Noise Removal Using Dictionary Learning and Space-Frequency Analysis (사전 학습과 공간-주파수 분석을 사용한 방향 적응적 에일리어싱 및 잡음 제거)

  • In this paper, we propose a directionally adaptive aliasing and noise removal using dictionary learning based on space-frequency analysis. The proposed aliasing and noise removal algorithm consists of two modules; i) aliasing and noise detection using dictionary learning and analysis of frequency characteristics from the combined wavelet-Fourier transform and ii) aliasing removal with suppressing noise based on the directional shrinkage in the detected regions. The proposed method can preserve the high-frequency details because aliasing and noise region is detected. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm can efficiently reduce aliasing and noise while minimizing losses of high-frequency details and generation of artifacts comparing with the conventional methods. The proposed algorithm is suitable for various applications such as image resampling, super-resolution image, and robot vision.
