타이어-휠가드 공간의 음장모드와 고주파성 로드노이즈의 상관성 연구 (A study on the relationship between acoustic modes in tire-wheel guard space and high frequency road noise)

  • 타이어와 휠가드 사이의 공간은 타이어 패턴음의 전달경로가 된다. 본 논문에서는 타이어-휠가드 공간에서 발생하는 음향현상을 음장모드 분석과 휠 가드 표면에서 음압분포 가시화를 통해 규명하였다. 타이어 패턴음 저감을 위해 음향학적 댐퍼 역할을 수행하는 캐비티를 휠가드 표면상에 적용하였다. 실내소음은 2 dB(A) 감소하였는데, 본 연구에서 다룬 소음저감방법은 완성차 단계에서 원가/중량의 증가없이 실내음질을 개선하는 효과적인 방안이 될 것이라고 판단된다.

AMESim을 이용한 휠로더 유압시스템의 모델링 및 시뮬레이션에 관한 연구 (A Study on Modeling and Simulation of Hydraulic System for a Wheel Loader using AMESim)

  • 본 논문은 유압해석 상용툴인 AMESim을 이용하여 로드센싱형 휠로더 유압 시스템을 모델링 하였다. 휠로더 유압장치의 주요 구성요소인 펌프, 메인 컨트롤밸브, 압력 보상기, 리모트 컨트롤밸브 및 작업 장치를 모델링 하였으며 실제 차량의 제원을 적용하여 시뮬레이션을 수행하였다. 시뮬레이션 결과와 실차 데이터를 비교 검토하여 시뮬레이션 결과와 실차 데이터가 유사함을 알 수 있었다.

  • Mobility of tracked vehicles is dependent on performance of its power equipment and suspension systems. Especially, its road wheels, components of its suspension systems, play an important role in distributing the vehicle weight on the ground and preventing from misguiding tracks. In this study, the maximum force acted on multipurpose tracked vehicles driven on the worst condition was calculated. And then FE analyses were carried out to evaluate the strength of the road wheels under the maximum force condition. For quality evaluation of the road wheels, FE simulations and experimental works were carried out under specific slant loads. Residual deformation for the slant loads was investigated and commented upon.

  • A tracked vehicle is dependent on performance of power pack and suspension systems. Especially, road wheels which are components of suspension system contribute distributing vehicle weight on soil and preventing from misguiding tracks. In this study, the maximum force was calculated that a tracked vehicle is driven on the worst condition. And then, FE analyses were carried out to evaluate strength road wheel under maximum force condition. In standard of quality evaluation for road wheel, FE simulations and experimental works were carried out under thirty degree slant load of normal direction of shaft. And then, A relationship residual deformation for slant load was investigated. The result of this research is applicable to evaluate strength and to make use of basis data.

6축 휠 동력계의 구조설계 및 평가 (Structural Design and Evaluation of Six-component Wheel Dynamometer)

  • 자동차 주행 중 도로면으로부터 차량 바퀴에 전달되는 동하중을 측정하기 위해 휠 동력계가 사용된다. 본 논문에서는 전단 변형과 굽힘 변형을 이용한 두 가지 타입의 6축 휠 동력계를 설계하고 비교 평가하였다. 유한요소해석을 이용하여 휠 동력계 기본 구조에 대한 전단 변형 거동과 굽힘 변형 거동을 분석하였으며 이로부터 전단형 휠 동력계와 굽힘형 휠 동력계를 설계하였다. 변형률 해석을 반복 수행하여 각 하중에 대한 출력변형률이 미리 결정된 비슷한 값이 되도록 하고 상호간섭 변형률이 최소화 되도록 설계를 수정하고 브리지 회로를 구성하였다. 전단형 휠 동력계는 균일한 변형률 분포를 얻을 수 있어 제작시 안정된 특성치를 얻을 수 있는 반면에, 굽힘형 휠 동력계는 각 하중에 대한 출력 변형률 값이 더 일정하여 균일한 감도의 좋은 성능을 얻을 수 있을 것으로 예측된다.

  • It is generally known that the automotive road wheel involves the non-proportional multiaxial loading condition, therefore the measuring dynamic stress and strain in driving state is very important to predict an endurance characteristic of the automotive road wheel. In this study, the ultimate driving test using F1 circuit with respect to 2 kinds of velocity conditions have been carried out in order to measure dynamic stress, strain of the wheel and acceleration of a vehicle. Based on the measured results, the characteristics of dynamic stress generation have been analyzed, and factors which have effect on the dynamic stress generation have been studied.

  • As the life cycle of the vehicle become shorter, the method that reduce the development time of new model become more important. In this reason, the development of the simulator that provides similar environment with the actual vehicle load characteristics is increasing. In this paper, the link unit of the 3-axis road simulator is designed and simulated with dynamic analysis software ADMS. and the maximum stress and strain are analyzed for the safety of link and specifications of optimal design using finite element method.

차량 로드 휠의 복합축 평가 프로세스 구축을 통한 내구신뢰성 강건화 및 주행안정성 향상 (Improvement of Durability and Reliability by Developing a Bi-axial Test Process of Road Wheel)

  • The steel road wheel on ventilation holes was cracked in the vehicle durability test. But the component durability test by uni-axial, CFT(Cornering Fatigue Test) and RFT(Radial Fatigue Test) had been satisfied. That is, the uni-axial component test could not forecast the crack of vehicle. Therefore this study developed the bi-axial test mode to reflect a vehicle condition(to reflect both vertical and lateral force simultaneously) based on real load data which was measured in Europe and China and developed CAE simulation too. It reproduced the cracks same as vehicle's and verified by bi-axial test machine in the LBF(Fraunhofer Institute for Structural Durability and System Reliability) durability research center in Germany. Finally this the durability CAE simulation by using HMC(Hyundai Motor Company)'s the bi-axial test mode predicts feasibly the steel wheel's durability performance before vehicle durability test.

고주파수 소음 저감 휠가드 연구 (A Study of Wheel Guards for Reduction of High Frequency Road Noise)

  • This paper describes about the development of new concept's rear wheel guards for the reduction of Road Noise in the passenger vehicle using test. The new wheel guards are proposed by various frequency chamber concept and different textile layers concept. Two wheel guards were verified by small cabin resonance test and vehicle test. Through new developing process without vehicle test, Result of road noise will be expected when new concepts and materials of wheel guard is applied into automotive vehicle. As a result of the application of Aimed Helmholtz and Multi-layers concept, this paper classifies the road noise, cost and weight are reduced by new concepts and the solutions are adopted into the 2 cars.

In this paper, the multi-axis simulator is designed and analyzed by kinematic method. The simulator has a function simulating the 3 load elements; vertical, longitudinal, and lateral force respectively and simultaneously. The result of this paper can be used for developing the multi-axis simulator linkage.
