모두에게 가장 방심할 수 없는 위협인 끝없이 확장되어가는 두문자어에 대해 미군에게 감사해마지 않는다. 컴퓨터 Y2k문제는 생수 판매에 있어서는 호재였지만 두자리 숫자 연도 버그는 1973년 카호우렉 혜성이 출현하지 않음을 지나치게 강조하였던 것과 거의 동일한 효과를 가졌었다. 여러분은 단어를 축약시키는 두문자어에 대해 무엇을 기해했는가? 여러분이 기억하는 바와 같이 몇년전 이 문제에 대한 심각한 논의가 시작되었을 때 이는 2000년 버그라 칭해졌었고 그리곤 곧 Y2000으로 줄여지더니 다시 Y2K로 단축되었다. 마침내 이는 "체!"가 되었고 본질적으로 사라져버렸다.

In this study examines physical and mechanical properties the use of domestic low grade meta-kaolin in light weight porous concrete. For this purpose light weight porous concrete incorporating low grade meta-kaolin admixture, was tested for tensile strength and acoustic characteristics. Checking tensile strength of cement and low grade meta-kaolin mixture was used to determine the optimum mix proportion of the low grade meta-kaolin admixture. In this paper sound absorbing material has been investigated by using the light weight porous concrete.

Rack is a place to store products. Workers pick products from rack storage. After picking up, workers move to another location by forklift. Driving speed, worker condition, and number/frequency of operation is responsible for forklift accidents. When an accident occurs, products get damaged. Therefore, it is important to prevent one. As the research result, To prevent forklift accidents, the minimum order quantity, the minimum number of operations, and low speed operation are required.

Current processor power consumption has dramatically increased and already reached 115 Watts. Therefore, Heat sink design needs more high accuracy in 1U server. The target performance of heat sink is very dependent of fin geometry and it is also seriously affected by design conditions such as fan type, air duct shape and heatsink design parameters. The present paper investigates the behavior of heat sink performance under various conditions. The present work addresses pressurized type plane fin heat sinks having dimension of 40 mm by 40 mm by 56 mm fan.

We isolated a promoter inducible by paraquat, a superoxide-generating agent, from Escherichia coli using a promoter-probing plasmid pRS415. From sequence analysis we found out the promoter is for fpr ENCODING nadph : ferredoxin oxidoreductase. We constructed on operon fusion of lacZ gene with fpr promoter to monitor the expression of the gene in the single-copy state. LacZ expression generators, menadione and plumbagin, also induced the expression of .betha.-galactosidase in the fusion strain. On the other hand, no significant induction was observed by treatment with hydrogen peroxide, ethanol, and heat shock. Induction of .betha.-galactosidase was significantly reduced by introducing a .DELTA. sox 8 :: cat of soxS3 :: Tn10 mutation into the fusion strain, indicating that fpr gene is a member of the soxRS regulon. The transcriptional start site was determined by primer extension analysis. Possible roles of fpr induction in superoxide stress were discussed.

게임접속 시간의 예측은 서버접속의 폭주와 렉 현상의 예측을 통한 게임서비스 향상과 게임 매출의 예측에 매우 중요한 정보를 제공한다. 본 논문에서는 대표적 온라인 게임인 "아이온"과 "서든어택"의 2009년 PC방 접속시간 자료를 대상으로 다양한 시계열 분석 방법을 적용하여 접속시간 예측을 실험하였다. 실험결과 평균 게임접속시간의 예측에는 분해법이 실제 접속시간 데이터와 가장 유사한 결과를 보였다.

본 논문에서는 제조/물류 기업 등 제품(물품) 이동 작업 시 효율적인 경로 제공을 위한 경로 최적화 기법을 제안한다. 이 기법은 업무지원 시스템(MES, ERP, WMS 등)이 구축되어있는 기업을 대상으로 공간정보와 업무지원 시스템에 저장되는 제품 데이터를 기준 정보로 하며, 다익스트라(Dijkstra), 개미 집단 알고리즘(Ant Colony Algorithm, ACO)등 경로 탐색 알고리즘을 적용하여 문제를 해결하고자 한다. 공간정보는 공장(현장)의 레이아웃(Layout)과 제품이 적재/출하되는 렉(Rack) 등의 위치 정보가 포함되고, 업무지원 시스템에서 제품의 현재 위치, 공정 상태, 등록 시간, 제품 크기 등을 사용한다. 제안하는 기법은 상기 기준 정보를 경로 탐색 알고리즘에 적용하여 적재/출하, 공정 이동, 보관 장소 변경 등 제품의 위치가 변경되는 경우에 경로를 최적화할 수 있는 기법을 제안한다. 제품 이동 작업은 대부분 노동력에 의존하는 작업으로 경로 최적화 기법을 제안함으로써, 인력 비용 감소와 향후 로봇 기반의 제품 이동 작업에도 적용하여 자동화된 작업효과를 가져다 줄 것으로 기대한다.

전기장을 이용한 생물막 제어 기술은 기존의 소독제 및 항균제를 이용한 방법을 대체하기 위한 제어기술로써 연구되어 왔다. 본 기술은 화학적 소독제나 항균제를 사용하지 않고 전자전달을 토대로 생물막을 제어한다는 점에서 환경적으로 이로운 면이 있다. 현재까지 연구된 정기장을 이용한 생물막 제어방법은 기작에 따라 (1) 음전류에서의 정전기적 반발작용을 통한 미생물 부착 제어, (2) 양전류 상에서의 미생물 거동을 이용한 미생물 부착 제어, (3) 직접산화반응에 의한 미생물 불활성화, (4) 바이오일렉트릭 효과에 의한 생물막 불활성화 효과로 분류할 수 있다. 본 총설에서는 주요 선행연구를 통해 전기장을 이용한 생물막 제어 기술에 대하여 살펴보고, 적용사례들을 소개하고자 한다.
