A Parametric Study on the Serviceability of Concrete Slab Track on Railway Bridges (철도교 콘크리트 슬래브궤도의 사용성에 관한 매개변수 영향 연구)

  • Deformations of bridge deck ends on abutments and piers bring about severe problems in track geometry and require maintenance work. In case of concrete slab track, more severe deformation and additional forces on rail and rail supports can be induced by bridge deck deformation, which affect the serviceability of track structure since concrete slab track is much stiffer than ballasted track and the behavior of track structure is integrated with that of bridge deck. In this study, the design variables affecting the serviceability of track structure are selected and the influence level is estimated by a parametric study. As a result, it is found that continuous span is advantageous than simply supported span and the stiffness of bridge bearing and rail fastener as well as the distance between last rail support and bridge bearing are most important parameters.

  • 환경 소음,진동 개선의 측면에서 철도 레일 하부로 전달되는 진동 및 구조소음을 효과적으로 차단하기 위하여 국내에서도 탄성 이산지지 구조의 플로팅 슬라브를 적용하는 경우가 증가하고 있다. 플로팅 슬라브 구조설계에 있어 주안점은 방진효율 증대와 슬라브 자체 중량의 2~3배 되는 열차 주행간의 동하중에 대한 열차 주행 안정성을 고려해야 하는 점이며 열차의 고속화 경향에 따라 동하중의 증가는 더욱 커지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 이산지지 방진장치를 적용한 철도 슬라브 궤도의 동특성과 이동질량에 의한 응답을 방진장치의 지지 간격, 스프링 상수 등을 설계변수로 하여 수치해석적 방법으로 시뮬레이션하였다.

  • Among the material handling system, EMS (Electric Monorail System), which is the facility of transferring the material hanging on truss, has the strength point of the maximum utilization of working space and the improvement of working environment including low-level noise generation. This paper will introduce the variable method of EMS rail analysis, which has the main role of supporting the whole material weight and guiding them with high-speed transportation, and, based on the analysis, the direction of optimization of the rail design be described. The rail with light-weight and high-strength contributes the reduction of the load of truss, the cost-down of rail production and the easy-installation on site.

  • 구름접촉 피로는 반복적인 구름 접촉에 의해 나타나는 것으로서 피로의 원인이 되는 반복 하중이 두 물체의 반복적인 접촉에 의해서 일어난다는 점 때문에 일반적으로 피로연구 분야에서 다루 어지지 않고 마멸, 마찰 연구 분야에서 다루어지고 있다 구름접촉 피로현상이 나타나는 실제 예로서 베어링, 철도레일 등이 있다.

Evaluation of the Roadbed Behavior During Tilting-train Operation in Curved Track Using Numerical Analysis (틸팅차량의 곡선부 운행시 수치해석을 이용한 노반거동 평가)

  • The tilting-train is very attractive to the railroad users in the world because it runs with high speed in curved track using pre-existing infrastructure. The tilting-train has a unique allowable speed and mechanism expecially in curved track. Therefore, it should be evaluated in terms of the stability of the train operation and roadbed. In this study, when the tilting-train is being operated with the allowable speed, the behavior of the roadbed is evaluated by examining the settlement and bearing capacity of the roadbed. Additionally, the stability of the roadbed is estimated in the condition of soft roadbed influenced by the weather effects and cyclic train loading. The numerical results show that the roadbed settlements satisfy the allowable settlement when Young's moduli of the upper roadbed and in-situ soil are more than $2,300t/m^2\;and\;3,300t/m^2$, respectively, in the continuous welded rail (CWR) and $3,800t/m^2\;and\;4,600t/m^2$, respectively, in the rail joint.
