In Wittgenstein's Tractatus, the concept of 'identity' gives rise to several puzzles as follows. What is an equation(Gleichung) in the Tractatus? Is an equation identical with so called an identity statement? Frege asserts that identity is not a relation between signs but one between objects or of a thing to itself. Then how does Wittgenstein criticize this Frege's conception? Furthermore Wittgenstein explicitly criticizes about Russell's definition of identity. Then What is the point of such Wittgenstein's critique? In a nutshell, what is early Wittgenstein's idea on the nature of identity? In this paper, I will endeavor to answer these questions.

최근 <수학기초론>이란 용어는 Burali-Forti paradox 이후 족(class)과 집합(set) 개념을 이해하려는 시도에서 출발한 20세기적 문제에 적용되고 있다. 이 글에서는 그 해결책으로 제시된 주의ㆍ주장 중 논리적인 모순을 해결하기 위한 Russel의 논리주의적 공리론에 바탕을 두고 살펴보려고 한다. 제 2장에서는 무한의 심연 속에 웅크리고 있는 집합론에서의 역설과 발생 원인에 대하여 살펴보았다. 제 3장에서는 공리론적 집합론 중에서 러셀의 유형론과 그것을 단순화시킨 현대의 유형론을 살펴보고, ZF 집합론과 ZF 집합론의 연장인 처치 집합론의 기본 공리를 살펴보았다.

지난 2002년 골든글로브시상식에서 배우 러셀 크로우에게 남우주연상의 영예를 안겨준 영화 '뷰티풀 마인드'는 존 내시라는 천재 수학자의 일생을 담은 전기영화다. 존 내시는 실제로 21세 때 쓴 논문으로 40여년 후에 노벨상을 받을 정도로 뛰어나 천재였지만, 오만하고 괴팍하며 비사교적인 성격 덕택에 변변한 친구하나 없었다고 한다. 한때 오랜 기간 정신분열증을 알았던 그는 '숫자를 다루는 일에는 신이 부럽지 않을 만큼 능수능란했지만, 인간관계 함수를 파악하는 데는 갓난아기처럼 서툴렀던 사나이'였다.

본 연구에서는 카포에라를 움직임의 기반으로 하는 무용단을 선정하여 그들의 최근 작품을 중심으로 작품 경향을 문헌연구 하였다. 연구 대상이 된 무용단은 러셀 말리펀트(Russell Maliphant), 콰살 댄스 컴퍼니(Quasar Cia. de Dança), 구루포 코르포(Grupo corpo), 댄스 브라질(DanceBrazil)으로 제한하였다. 연구결과 카포에라(Capoeira)는 역동성과 리듬이 극대화된 소용돌이 치는 듯한 새로운 무용의 움직임 언어를 만들어 냈다. 신체움직임을 이용하여 공간, 이미지, 음악과 융화되는 작품 경향을 나타냈다. 사랑, 종교, 역사, 신화를 무대 위에서 움직임으로 풀어낼 수 있는 새로운 움직임 양식을 개발하여 흑인문화가 순수무용분야에 완벽하게 흡수되는 결과를 낫게 되었다.

Russell-Silver syndrome is a genetic disorder characterized by intrauterine and/or postnatal growth restriction and typical facies. The clinical feature is various due to heterogeneous genetic characters. Their common findings are short stature without catch-up growth, normal head size for age, a distinctive triangular face with prominent forehead and a pointed chin, low set ears and clinodactyly of the fifth fingers. Intraoral features of the syndrome are microdontia, delayed tooth eruption, hypodontia, and crowding. More than 400 case have been reported in the literature, and estimated incidence is from 1 in 3000 to 1 in 100,000. In this case we performed caries treatment under the general anesthesia for the patient with Russell-Silver syndrome. Dentist have to consider microstomia for the management of patients with Russell-Silver syndrome.

To schedule a Reconfigurable Manufacturing Cell (RMC), reconfiguration and setting decisions should be made first. Those decisions, together with characteristics of production orders, affect attainable performance of a system. So an integrative approach is required considering all decisions and characteristics rather than dealing with each of them separately. Pallet-fixture allocation, as a decision problem in setting, which determines the number of pallets to be equipped with each fixture type to produce different types of products, has rarely been investigated. In this study, several pallet-fixture allocation rules are proposed including both simple and novel ones. Then system performance is investigated through various combinations of setting and scheduling decisions (rules) for given system configurations and production orders, via simulation. The result shows that one of proposed pallet-fixture allocation rules which considers both configuration and order characteristic outperforms the others, justifying the necessity of an integrative approach in the RMC operation.

Audience observing visual media with care experience lots of emotional transition according to characteristics of media. Enjoy, sadness, surprising, etc, a variety of emotional state of audiences is often arranged by James Russell's 'A circumplex model of affect' utilized on psychology. Especially, in various emotions, 'Uncanny' mentioned by Sigmund Freud is represented a sharp medium existing in a crack of clearly emotional conception. Uncanny phenomenon is an emotional state of changing from unpleasant to pleasant on an audience observing visual media is been aware of immoral media generally, therefore, because this is a positive state on a social taboo, we need to analyze with a scientific analysis clearly. Therefore, this study will organize James Russell's 'A circumplex model of affect' and uncanny phenomenon, will be progressed to establish a hypothesis about a state of uncanny on audiences observing visual media and analyze results of the physiological signals experiment based on ECG(Electronic Cardiogram), GSR(Galvanic Skin Response) signals with distribution, distance, and moving time in a circumplex model of affect.

This study focuses on the fact that intrinsic motivation which becomes the force to promote narrative is reinforced as a polyphonic structure through the psychodynamics of fear and desire internalized in a character, and from this perspective, it analyzes character rising strategies shown in Pixar's movie, . To verify fear and desire of a character, this study uses Enneagram personality types theory as the frame of analysis and reaches the following conclusions: (1) The main character, Carl's emotion originated from fear and desire was metaphorized as Muntz and Russell each, so the inside psychodynamics and the outer event visualizing it are set as contrapuntal composition. (2) However, inversely to the enhancement of Carl's polyphonicity, that excellent strategy works as the limit that restricts the psychodynamics of Muntz and Russell to a certain range. Lastly, it is expected that this study will be suggested as a sort of methodology about character rising strategies as turned into the database to which the result of follow-up research will be added, too.

Wittgenstein asserts in the Tractatus Logico-Philosophicus 5.542 that "A believes that p" is of the form "'p' says p" and "here we have no co-ordination of a fact and an object, but a co-ordination of facts by means of a co-ordination of their objects." What does, then, it mean exactly that 'p' says p? What are "facts" and "a co-ordination" in the expression "a co-ordination of facts"? Are propositional attitude statements significant propositions or not? Furthermore, what is the point of Wittgenstein's criticism of Russell's theory of judgement? In this paper, I will answer these questions on the basis of Wittgenstein's explication of the concept of thought and Ramsey's relevant remark on propositional attitude. Meanwhile propositional attitude statements are bound up with solipsism of the Tractatus Logico-Philosophicus and some of them have senses. Hence both of assertions that all the propositional attitude statements are significant and all of them are nonsense in the Tractatus Logico-Philosophicus are not correct.

A solution procedure to minimize total carousel related costs has been developed under the carousel throughput rate and total storage capacity requirements. The carousel related costs include carousel facility costs which are proportional to the number of carousels and carousel operating costs which are directly related to the moving distances of carousels. The number of carousels is dependent upon the size of a carousel and the moving distances are determined by the size of a carousel, storage item assignment to each carousel, and the item positions in a carousel. When the storage/retrieval requirements for each storage item is equal, an optimal algorithm has been developed. When the storage/retrieval requirements is unequal, a heuristic solution procedure has been developed because of the complexity of the problem.
