The Effects of Physical States of Phospholipids on $Ca^{2+}$-ATPase Activity of Biological Membranes (지질의 물리학적 성상이 $Ca^{2+}$-ATPase 활성도에 미치는 영향)

  • The $Ca^{2+}-ATPase$ of sarcoplasmic reticulum (SR) was solubilized and reconstituted into a mixture of phosphatidylcholine (PC) and phosphatidylethanolamine (PE) of varying ratios in order to assess the effect of physical states of phospholipids on the incorporation and functions $Ca^{2+}-ATPase$. On the basis of the spectral data of Ca-arsenazo III, the $Ca^{2+}$ uptake of SR was increased linearly as the PC content increased in the reconstituted vesicles. The ATP hydrolysis activity also increased as PC content increased up to 25% and then decreased slightly as the PC content further increased. On the other hand the incorporation of $Ca^{2+}-ATPase$ into the reconstituted vesicls occured maximally at 25% PC and 75% PE mixture which is known to have a non-bilayer structure in reconstitution system. From the above results it is clear that preexisting defects in the lipid bilayer promote protein incorporation into the bilayer during reconstitution and lamellar structure of the bilayer facilitates the $Ca^{2+}-ATPase$ function.

  • The COVID-19 pandemic, which began in early 2020, became an opportunity for unprecedented global reflection and change. And it served as an opportunity to promote a new paradigm in all areas of society, including politics, economy, culture, and industry. In the midst of this upheaval, the 2022 IAA exhibition, which was held in four years, was held as an exhibition that even proposed new concepts of smart logistics and mobility services. Among them, various concepts were also proposed in exhibitions related to last mile mobility, the focus of this study.As a result of this study, the main trend of last mile mobility shown in the IAA 2022 exhibition is that the property of physical products with functions as social interfaces is expanding into the PSS (Product-Service System) ecosystem in which products and services are systematically linked. As a result, the need for a methodological approach that can organically link the design planning of social services and the development of products corresponding to it was derived.

Comparison of Lipid Components in Wild and Cultured Bastard (천연 및 양식산 넙치의 지방질성분)

  • The lipid components of cultured bastard(Paralichthys olivaceus) were analyzed and compared with those of wild one and flounder(Pleuronichthys cornutus). Total lipid(TL) content of dorsal muscle in wild and cultured bastard, flounder was 2.0%, 1.6%, and 1.9%, respectively. Wild bastard and flounder were higher in neutral lipid(NL) and glycolipid(GL) contents, while lower in phospholipid(PL) content than those of cultured one. The NL was mainly consisted of triglyceride(70.7-72.6%), and PL was mainly occupied by phosphatidylcholine(53.6-58.3%), phosphatidyl-ethanolamine(25.9-29.5%). In fatty acid composition of TL, cultured bastard showed higher content in polyenes such as docosahexaenoic acid. and lower in monoenes such as palmitoleic, oleic acid than those of wild one. Flounder was higher in Percentage of arachidonic, eicosapentaenoic acid compard with bastard. The major fatty acids of these fishes were palmitic, docosahexaenoic, oleic, eicosapentaenoic and palmitoleic acid in order. These fatty acid composition of NL, GL and PL fractions were not significantly different among wild and cultured bastard, flounder.

  • 1999년에 도입된 아파트 지역 우선 공급 제도를 둘러싸고 지역 간 이해 관계가 엇갈리고 있다. 원정 투기를 막고 해당 지역의 무주택 주민들에게 내 집 마련의 기회를 주기 위해 시작된 이 제도가 다른 지역의 청약 희망자들에겐 역차별이 딜 수 있고, 청약 가점제 기본 취지를 상당 부분 훼손할 거라는 지적이 나오고 있다.

A Study on Entrapment Efficiency of Rosmarinic Acid Using Liquid Crystal Phosphatidylcholin (포스파티딜콜린의 액정형성을 이용한 로즈마린산 포집 효율연구)

  • The liquid crystal form with phosphatidylcholine contents containing in the hydrogenated lecithin was confirmed. Composition ingredients of the liquid crystal vesicle were phospholipid, ethanol and water and the rosmarinic acid was encapsulated as index material. The mean particle size of the liquid crystal vesicle appeared to form various particles form 480 nm to $3{\mu}m$ depending upon the lipid composition and ultrasonic handling time. The liquid crystal vesicle compared with the liposome showed a very high encapsulation efficiency. The quantity of liquid crystal vesicle increased with respect to the increased quantity of lipid contents in the hydrogenated lecithin. The result from release experiments of the liquid crystal vesicle containing rosmarinic acid showed that the liquid crystal vesicle releases much less than that of liposome.

  • Promoting policy to involve plant EPC companies for package deal has been studied to acquisite overseas energy resources. The effectiveness of the package deal with the plant EPC companies has not been successful because participation of the plant EPC companies is very low. It is difficult for the plant EPC companies to join the packaged deal due to the lack of the whole responsibility organization to support that plant EPC companies participate in package deal. The followings are suggested as the ways to promote the participation of the plant EPC companies for package deal in this study. 1) financial and policy support of governmen 2) specialization of the advanced countries.

It is difficult for the plant EPC companies to join the package deal due to the lack of the fully responsible organization to support the plant EPC companies participating in a package deal. The followings are suggested as the ways to promote the participation of the plant EPC companies for package deal in this study; 1) financial support of the government for plant EPC companies 2) political support of the government for plant EPC companies 3) specialization of the advanced countries for public-private cooperation.
