최근 디지털 TV방송서비스의 보급으로 채널의 수와 그에 따른 프로그램의 수가 많아짐에 따라 시청자는 모든 프로그램의 정보를 미리 알고 있는 것이 힘들어 졌다. 모든 채널과 방송 프로그램을 탐색하고 자신의 취향에 맞는 프로그램을 찾아 보기 어려워진 문제를 해결하고자 영화, 상품 등의 분야에 국한 되었던 추천연구 분야도 TV채널 까지 확대할 필요가 있다. 본 논문에서는 사용자의 TV시청 기록을 분석하여 사용자 프로파일 테이블을 구성하고, 베이시안 네트워크와 시계열 분석 이론을 접목하여 추천엔진을 구현하는 TV채널 추천 엔진을 제안한다.

IP-TV 서비스는 통신/방송 융합서비스로서 데이터 스트림이 송출되는 Server로부터 QoS가 보장되는 IP망을 통해 디지털 영상 방송이나 양방향 서비스를 가입자 단말까지 제공하는 서비스이다. IP-TV 서비스는 보안을 위해 CAS(Conditional Access System)를 사용하고, 또한 효율적인 콘텐츠의 전송을 위해 IP Multicast를 사용하게 된다. 보안 기능이 제공되지 않는 IP Multicast는 익명성을 허용하게 하여 eavesdropping, denial of service(DoS) Attack등이 가능하고, 또한 AAA(Authentication, Accounting, Authorization) 기능이 제공되지 않는다. IP-TV에서는 보안을 제공하기위해 Application 계층에서 CAS를 운용하게 되는데, 이는 Network계층에서 보안문제를 해결하는 것 보다 비효율적이다. 본 논문에서는 기존의 IGMP프로토콜을 확장, 개선하여 상호인증을 통해 CAS Server와 연계하여 IP-TV에 적합하게 만든 프로토콜을 제시함으로서, 이와 같은 문제점들을 해결하였다.

디지털 TV 기술과 소프트웨어 기술의 발전은 스마트 TV 라는 TV 의 새로운 패러다임을 도래하게 하였다. 스마트 TV 는 네트워크를 통해 애플리케이션 스토어에 접속하여 다양한 콘텐츠들을 다운로드 하여 설치/이용하게 될 것이다. 본 연구는 이러한 과정에서 발생할 수 있는 보안 위협들 중에서 콘텐츠의 불법 다운로드 및 기기 인증 우회 등으로 인해 발생할 수 있는 피해를 예방하기 위한 방법으로서 공개키 기반 상호 인증 및 키 분배 방식과 암호 통신 방법을 제안한다.

This experimental research explores the effect of background music of TV documentary which can be classified as channel factor in the field of media effect, on audience's recall memory, flow, arousal of interest, evaluation of documentary. Most previous researches of media effect focused on the effect of sender factor and message factor on audience's memory, understanding, acquirement of knowledge, attitude, action. However the number of researches on the effect of background music on audience's various dependent variables is extremely limited, especially it is very difficult to find studies on the effect of background music of TV documentary on audience. Therefore this research tries to find the effect of background music of TV documentary on audience's recall memory, flow, arousal of interest, evaluation. For this research of experiment, 2 groups of subjects composed of 101 university students were exposed to 2 different video clips of TV documentary, one with background music, the other without it, After this experiment, Questions which were designed to measure audience's recall memory, flow, arousal of interest, evaluation were asked and analysed. This research found that background music of TV documentary increased audience's flow, degree of interest and raised evaluation, However meaningful effect of background music on audience's recall memory was not found.

It is not easy to define a boundary between TV and home computer in these day since developing H/W and S/W of computer technology induces that TV is conflated with computer. Coming digital HD broadcasting forces for replacement of TV at home and the trend of TV is became bigger. The evolved TV is able to replace the computer by connecting to the network and people want to do interactions with contents by using the bidirectional communication. Therefore, it is expected to changing the human lifestyle. It is natural that contents for all members of family are needed, since screen of TV become bigger. It is required that the contents should guarantees the accessability of information to the all of family members and the easy interaction with contents. But, the related basic research is not enough to catch the user's eye to induce flow or presence. Our goal of this study is to analyse effects of experiential space perception on performing interactive digital contents. The result shows that users interacted with contents without any difficulty when they met a same dimension and shape of objects as dimension and shape objects in their experiences or learning.

언젠가 방영된 TV다큐드라마가 떠오른다. 정확한 수치는 기억나지 않지만 종이를 만들기 위해 무수히 베이지는 나무들을 본적이 있다. 무참히 쓰러지는 나무들, 기계층 번진 머리 마냥 휑하니 패인 숲속의 공간, 그 프로그램의 요지는 환경보호였다. 그 나무들은 종이로 만들어지기 위해 베어지고 있다는 것이었다. 종이의 재활용 운동은 내가 그 TV프로그램을 보기 훨씬 이전부터 활발히 진행되고 있었던 일이긴 하다.
