Development of a Digital Storytelling Activity Model for Digital Generation (디지털 세대를 위한 디지털 스토리텔링 활동 모형 개발)

  • Digital storytelling provides students with opportunities to plan and compose a story, and create a storytelling material using various digital technologies. Through digital storytelling activities, students can enhance competencies such as creativity, communication, critical thinking and collaboration, which are required for the digital generation in the future. The purpose of this research was to develop a digital storytelling model that guides students' activities related to the planning of a story and the creation of a digital material. The model classified 4 stages of activities(i.e. 'Preparing Activity', 'Planning and Composing a Story', 'Producing Storytelling Material' and 'Making a Presentation and Evaluating Storytelling Material'), and provided instructional guidances for each stage. Also various forms were presented for story planning, story table, evaluation among students and individual reflection journal.

  • 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅은 IT기술을 기반으로, 의료 도시환경 건축 의류 등 사회 전반적인 분야로 확대되고 있다. 특히, 의료 기술의 발전과 고령인구의 증가, 삶의 질 향상에 대한 사람들의 욕구는 점점 헬스케어 산업의 중요성을 부각시켜주고 있다. 본 논문에서는 사용자 생체정보 측정을 위해 통신이 가능한 디지털 의류를 제작하여 생체신호를 측정할 수 있는 시스템을 제안하였다. 디지털 의류는 심전도 센서, 디지털 실, 모듈을 통해 구성되어 있으며 이를 안드로이드 어플리케이션을 통하여 스마트폰과 통신하도록 개발 하였다.

  • CALS의 개념을 한마디로 정의하기에는 범위나 방법상 어려움이 있다. 그럼에도 불구하고 과거에는 군의 무기체계를 지원하는 개념에서 출발하였으므로 일반적으로 "무기체계의 설계, 제작 및 군수유통체계 지원을 위해 디지털기술의 통합과 정보공유를 통한 신속한 자료처리 환경 구축"으로 정의할 수 있었다. 그러나 이제는 "제품의 생산(생산계획 등 이전 활동 포함)으로 부터 폐기에 이르는 모든 활동을 디지털정보기술의 통합을 통해 구현하는 산업화전략"이라는 표현으로 바꾸어야 할 것이며, 이것은 곧 제품에 대한 요람에서 무덤까지의 총체적 관리를 위한 정보기술 통합전략이라고 정의할 수 있을 것이다.

  • As success stories of using virtual reality (VR) have become more prevalent, interest in performance-related technology has rapidly increased around the world. Performances such as, Cirque du Soleil had much success in using video technology, these VR applications have enabled experiences using digital image technology. However, critics have claimed that the completeness and diversity of visual content is reduced, due to insufficient storylines, spatial composition, and partial use of the entire visual field. Therefore, the design of a performance using digital image technology should consider the characteristics of the production stage to be different from real world performances. In this study, the visual space of the stage, the method of creating space for the stage, and the movement of the performer and utilization of the performance was analyzed. Through this, It transferred the limitation of the traditional stage into the space and time of the image and opened the possibilities of the tran­-media.

  • Due to the development of online media platforms and the COVID-19 incident, the mass production and consumption of digital video content are rapidly increasing. In order to select digital video content, users grasp it in a short time through thumbnails and teaser videos, and select and watch digital video content that suits them. It is very inconvenient to check all digital video contents produced around the world one by one and manually edit teaser videos for users to choose from. In this paper, keyframes are extracted based on YCbCr color models to automatically generate teaser videos, and keyframes extracted through clustering are optimized. Finally, we present a method of producing a teaser video to help users check digital video content by connecting the finally extracted keyframes.

  • Recently 3D animation can produce animation dose to real picture owing to rapid technical development of hardware and software and is used as entertainment factors for movie, ads, game and digital pictures. The process of making 3D animation needs the various making techniques and expression factors unlike traditional animation. Production technique and expression factors in making 3D animation are not acted as individual factor, but they can achieve an animation with high perfection when they should be combined. Therefore this study analyzes the technical expression methods based on hardware and software for operation by computer process and the artistic expression factors based on aesthetic, figurative, design and pictorial factors and then seeks a method of making animation with technical perfection.

  • The objectives of this study was to evaluate the validity of 3D digital models made from blue LED dental scanner. Twenty same cases of stone models and 3d digital models were manufactured for this study. Intercanine distance, intermolar distance, two dental arch lengths(right, left) and two diagonal of dental arch lengths(right, left) were measured for evaluation of validity. The nonparametric Wilcoxon rank sum test was used for statistical analysis (${\alpha}$=0.05). Although stone models showed larger than digital models in all measured distances(p<0.05), none exceeded the clinically acceptable range.

  • 전자잡지는 원고 작성부터 편집, 제작 등 전 과정에 이르기 까지 컴퓨터 활용은 물론 CD-ROM이나 인터넷을 이용, 전통 인쇄방식 없이도 독자에게 전달되는 단계에 접어 들었다. 컴퓨터와 인터넷, 그리고 디지털혁명과 뉴테크놀로지는 잡지 형태를 현격히 변화시키고 있는 것이다. 앞으로 정보기술을 이용한 전자잡지의 발전은 더욱 증대될 것이다. 따라서 전자잡지 분야에서는 이러한 신기술의 발전에 대해 더욱 많은 관심과 끊임없는 실험정신을 가지고 멀티미디어 시대를 대비해 나가야 할 것이다.

Value Chain Model to Stabilize which Low-budget Digital Film Production System (가치사슬 구조로 본 저예산 디지털 영화제작 시스템의 안정을 위한 연구)

  • The phase in digital technology expedited low-budget digital film productions in the Korean film industry; hence the international film festivals circuit became the launching pad for Korean directors as they built their reputation and careers around the critical acclaim. Pieta (Kim Ki-Duk)'s Claim on Golden Lion prize at the Venice Film Festival in 2012 would be one of the splendid achievements - the festival is considered to be one of the top the international film festival. However, the increased volume of the low-budget digital film productions are not necessarily proportional to the growth in the quality of the productions. The drawbacks to the production system appeared to be the underlying cause. In attempt to approach the issue, this article explores the production system from 2000 until now. It is illustrated that the value chain model has been transformed from general ones into vertical & horizontal integrated ones. A notable example of successful indie bands-around Hongik university area-, as well the analysis on the low-budget hit productions, especially from the mid-2000's, are introduced as the case studies. The strategies that led the success, such as subsidies policy, the tax benefits on investment firms and production companies, and the aid in international film festival submissions on low-budget digital film productions, are thus examined with further suggestions.
