우리나라는 정부의 정보화 촉진정책에 힘입어 전국에 초고속정보통신 기간망이 구축되었고, 산업 및 공공영역에서의 정보인프라를 통한 정보화 확산은 가정으로 확산되어 가고 있는 추세이다. 이를 대표하는 정보화 서비스 중의 하나가 디지털 홈 서비스이다. 그러나 디지털 홈 서비스에 대한 선행연구들은 기술적인 연구에 치중하고 있는 반면, 소비자의 향후 디지털 홈 서비스 수응 등 전략적 관점에서의 체계적인 연구는 미흡한 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구는 디지털 홈 서비스 수용의도에 대한 선행요인들을 고찰하고 디지털 홈 서비스의 잠재 사용자 수용모델을 제시하고자 한다. 또한 이 수용모델의 적합성을 평가하기 위하여 실증분석을 하였다. 본 연구의 기대효과로는 디지털 홈 서비스 시장의 활성화를 위한 전략적 측면, 예컨대 효과적인 상품개발과 마케팅을 위한 적절한 전략을 세울 수 있는 기반을 마련해줄 것으로 기대된다.

홈 네트워크 시스템은 가정 내에 각종 디지털 장치를 하나의 통신망으로 통합하여 장치들 간의 정보 공유, 제어 그리고 동작 환경을 제공한다. 이러한 홈 네트워크 시스템은 홈 서버를 중심으로 동작 한다. 현재 초고속 통신망과 디지털 가전기기의 보급으로 인하여 가정 내의 홈 네트워크화가 가속화됨에 따라 홈 네트워크화 된 논리적인 지역에는 수많은 홈 서버가 존재하게 된다. 따라서 홈 서버의 체계적인 관리의 필요성이 드러나고 있다. 본 논문에서는 효율적인 홈 서버 관리를 위한 에이전트 시스템을 제안 한다. 에이전트 시스템은 홈 네트워크의 홈 서버 관리를 위하여 홈 서버와 동작 환경을 모니터링 한다. 이렇게 모니터링 된 점보를 참조하여 홈 서버의 서비스 모듈을 관리하며, 홈 서버 정상 유무에 대한 대처를 한다. 또한 그룹 관리 서버에서 생성된 서비스 에이전트가 홈 서버를 이주 하며 수집 해온 정보를 참조 하여 통합 검침, 방범 및 화제 등에 대한 대처를 할 수 있으며, 홈 서버에 새로운 서비스 적용할 경우 관리 서버에 등록 하고 이를 에이전트를 통하여 홈 서버에 배포함으로써 홈 네트워크에 효율적인 관리를 할 수 있다.

방송과 통신이 융합됨에 따라 다양한 멀티미디어 서비스가 출현하고 있으며 가정에서도 다양하고 질 좋은 홈서비스에 대한 요구가 증대하고 있다. 이러한 다양한 홈 서비스 환경을 제공하기 위해 지능형 홈네트워크 플랫폼이 제안되고 구축되고 있으나 댁내부의 홈게이트웨이나 홈서버 등의 가입자 장치를 통한 응용 프로그램만으로는 다양한 서비스 제공에는 한계가 있다. 따라서, 외부에서 제공되는 다양한 디지털 홈서비스를 사용자에게 편리하고 안전하게 전달하고 사용자의 개입 없이 외부의 서비스 제공자가 개발한 홈서비스를 제공 수 있는 개방형 서비스 관리 구조가 요구된다. 본고에서는 다양한 홈서비스가 서비스 제공자로부터 사용자 장치에 분배, 운용, 관리될 수 있는 환경인 개방형 디지털홈 서비스 분배관리 체계를 소개하고, 홈네트워크 상의 서비스 사용자 뿐 아니라, 외부에서 댁내의 서비스를 이용하고자 하는 사용자에게 편리하고 안전하게 서비스를 제공할 수 있는 디지털 홈 서비스 플랫폼인 분배관리시스템 플랫폼을 제안한다.

Recently, IT industry by digital technique is improved gradually. Therefore many electronic appliance became the digital, and this is magnified gradually. The development of embedded home automation system combined embedded and internet technique is taking many interest. Specially in the times of the ubiquitous, excellent economically home automation system is preferred even in general family. Therefore, in this paper, we escape from monotonic control of home automation and draw a plan intelligent home automation to be developed.

This paper proposes two systems. One is a Home Gateway(HG) which efficiently connects and controls digital appliances in the home network environments. The other is a Management Server(MS) that overcomes the physical limitation of the HG. The HG supports networking modules(TCP/IP for Ethernet, ADSL), home networking functions(HomePNA, IEEE1394 PLC) and telecommunication system(PSTN/SLT, VoIP, Video Communication). The HG is expected to be a core device for the integrated digital home environments. The MS is a dedicated server which manages and controls individual HG, home appliances and HA devices implemented at an area.

홈 네트워킹 시대의 도래에 대한 낙관적인 견해 보고서가 나날이 증가하고 있다. 늦어도 3∼4년 후에는 가정내의 모든 전자제품들이 하나의 관리시스템을 통해 통제가 가능해지고, 디지털 TV를 통한 쌍방향 커뮤니케이션이 익숙해질 것이라는 내용들이다. 하지만 본격적인 홈 네트워킹 시대가 오기 위해서는 여전히 많은 선결과제들이 남아 있다. 세계적으로 많은 기업들이 표준화 작업에서 주도권을 확보하기 위해 서로간의 견해차이를 줄이지 못하고 있고, 전력선 네트워크와 무선네트워크 기술 역시 우리가 기대하는 홈 네트워킹 시대를 가져오기에는 아직 부족한 듯 하다. 최근의 홈 네트워킹 기술 현황과 향후 전개될 지역별 시장전망을 살펴본다.

본 논문은 디지털 홈에서 가동될 다양한 홈 네트워크 장비의 분류와 발전 전망, 그리고 이들 장비가 홈 네트워크에서 서로 연결되어 동작할 때 필요한 소비전력을 최소화하기 위하여 구축하는 에너지 인지 홈 플랫폼의 기술에 대하여 기술한다. 에너지 인지 홈 플랫폼 기술은 홈 네트워크에서 동작하는 각 시스템 수준의 소비 전력 절감 기술과 홈 네트워크 차원의 소비전력 절감 기술을 기본으로 구성된다. 시스템 수준의 소비 전력 제어 기술은 시스템과 이에 연결된 디바이스에 장착되는 소자가 제공하는 소비 전력 제어 기술을 모아서 시스템 수준에서 낭비되는 소비 전력을 줄이는 기술이다. 홈 네트워크차원의 소비 전력 제어 기술은 홈 네트워크에서 연동되는 시스템간에 소비 전력 정보를 공유하여 홈 네트워크 전체에서 소비되는 전력을 제어하는 기술을 말하며, 이를 위한 소비 전력제어 프로토콜을 제안한다.

The advances in the digital communication and network technology, Internet technology and the proliferation of smart appliances in home, have dramatically increased the need for a high speed/high quality home network. As consumer electronic devices and computing devices are increasing in the home network, it is obvious that the data traffic of home network increases as well. Various home network devices want to access Internet servers to get multimedia contents. Therefore, we introduce TLC(Telephone Line Carrier) system for networked digital consumer electronic appliances within a house using Ethernet or wire/wireless technology. In the future home network environment, the primary purposes of the smart home network based TLC are to create low-cost, easily deployable, high performance, and wide coverage throughout the home. In this paper, the channel capacity of telephone line communication system is evaluated and compared as a function of transmission power, number of OFDM carrier, channel loss, and noise loss for smart home network.

So far the study of digital home has mainly been made up of the network technology and the sorority system, but the application to consider the discriminatory characteristics of the individual family members has been interested in comparison with the necessity. The system proposed in this study is to get the information of the internal users through the access-controlling system. The controller offers the discriminatory environment by activating the database of the internal users and controls the sub-system of the home-network. The suggested system can automatically offer the discriminatory environment among the family members by limiting TV programs or channels according to the users' age, by offering other internet environment according to the users, by putting restrictions on telephone numbers, or by restricting the settling right of the home-shopping companies.
