  • 국내 디지털 음악 시장은 소비자 이용 패러다임의 변화, 국내 디지털음악 서비스 사업자간의 양극화, 글로벌 사업자의 국내진출 이슈 등의 환경변화로 인해 경쟁력 제고를 위한 미래사업 전략 수립이 필요한 상황이다. 디지털 음악 서비스의 경쟁력 향상을 위해 디지털 음악 서비스 수용요인, 만족, 충성도 간의 인과관계에 대한 연구는 필수적이나 현재까지 제한적인 연구만 수행되어 왔다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 '디지털 음악 수용 요인' 모델을 기초로 소비자의 '지각된 가치', '고객 만족' 및 '충성도'간의 인과관계를 규명하고자 하였다. 분석결과 '디지털 음악 서비스 요인' 중 '상품의 다양성'과 '시스템 품질'은 '지각된 가치'와 '고객 만족'에 영향을 미쳤으나 '서비스 용이성'은 '고객 만족'에만 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 '지각된 가치'는 '고객 만족'과 '충성도' 모두에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

The Changes of Korean Pop Music through Digital Music Industry (디지털음악시장을 통해 살펴본 국내 대중가요의 변화)

  • This research considers growth of digital music industry and the consequential changes in the environment of music consumption, and how environment of purchasing digital music has influenced music's length and forms. Meaningful data such as average length of music, average time taken to chorus, appearance of intro, interlude, outro, and precedence of chorus has been collected from K-Pop of 2000 to 2011 through this research. Result has shown music sample streaming service in internet music industry has brought changes in music's length and formation, which leaded to birth of hook songs. Through this case of consumer's environmental influence on music, research predicts music industry will look forward to achieving techniques to deliver music more effectively by adopting the content's download-based internet environment.

  • 최근 들어 정신적/신체적 질병을 치료하기 위해 음악을 많이 사용한다. 음악 치료의 수요가 늘어남에 따라 HCI, BCI, Music Therapy 등과 같은 음악의 성질과 생체신호간의 관계, 심리상태 변화 등에 관한 연구들이 많이 이뤄지고 있다. 또한 압축기술의 발달로 인하여 디지털 음원을 손쉽게 듣고 다닐 수 있으며, 생체 신호처리 이론, 생체 신호처리 장비 등이 발달함에 따라 디지털 음원을 이용하여 음악 치료 연구를 할 수 있게 되었다. 하지만 이러한 디지털 음원이 음악치료 측면에서는 효과가 크지 않을 뿐만 아니라 오히려 악영향을 미친다는 내용이 방송/신문을 통해 기사화 되고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 동일한 음원의 아날로그/디지털 음악으로 청감테스트를 진행하고, 생체신호(혈압, 심박수, 뇌파)를 측정하여 차이점을 비교/분석한다.

Analysis of Educational Web-Sites and Digital Contents for Elementary Music Class according to 2015 Revised Curriculum (2015 개정 교육과정에 따른 초등 음악 교육용 웹 사이트와 디지털 콘텐츠 분석)

  • The objective of this study is to analyze educational web-sites and digital contents for elementary music class according to the 2015 revised music curriculum. First, the current status of educational web-sites that are most actively used in music class were reviewed. And the characteristics of the digital contents included in the web-sites for music education were analyzed. the primary analysis was about the service of the web-sites, and the secondary analysis was about the type of digital contents and the contents of music education. The most actively used web-sites in music classes were Edunet T-Clear, T-Sherpa, i-scream, Indischool, which differed slightly from the web-site's services and the type of digital content and contents. Specifically, the main functions for supporting music classes, the reflection of the curriculum contents, the systematicity of the materials, the objectivity and the on-site nature, and the connection with other subjects appeared differently. In order to effectively utilize digital contents in elementary music class, first, expertise of teachers for timely use of web-sitesand digital contents is required. Second, the development and utilization of various digital contents for the nature of music education is required.

A Study on the change of documentary background music according to the digitalization of broadcasting (방송의 디지털화와 텔레비전 다큐멘터리 배경음악의 변화 -생산자의 심층인터뷰를 중심으로)

  • By employing in-depth interviews with a total of 14 television producers, the study seeks to investigate how the use of documentary background music has changed in the rapidly evolving media technology. This study reveals two major findings. First, the use of traditional compositional background music in TV documentary has been decreased for the last 20 years, while library music with various sound sources has been more likely to be used due to its artistic value, its digitalized formats, and its convenience. Second, the popularity of the library music use has changed the cooperative relationship between TV documentary producers and music directors, and their views on background music. Overall, compared to the past, the new media technology (e.g., much easier, faster editing process and communication through e-mails) has helped to come up with the current trend of using more library music. This trend however implies that the dependency of library music only may lose the unique value of television documentary as a work of creative art and eventually downgrade the quality of the programs. Further practical implications are discussed.

  • This study investigates the relationship between the digital music service acceptance factors on the Perceived value, and Customer Satisfaction. Remarkable points of this study are as follows. First, according to the result of the analysis of relationship between digital music service acceptance factors and perceived value, diversity of digital music products and quality of digital music system affects significantly on the perceived value. but, usability of digital music service use does not have an effect on the perceived value. Second, as the result of analysis of the relationship between digital music service acceptance factors and customer satisfaction, diversity of digital music products, usability of digital music service and quality of digital music system affects significantly on the perceived value. These finding should assist digital music marketers and academics in their understanding of building loyalty on digital music service.

  • As a result of growth of digital music market in Korea, Creator's rights and interests have been at the heart of the debate in terms of legal system. In the music industry, digital music revenue has now overtaken records sales and compared to download service it is now clear that music streaming and subscription is mainstream model in the rise of the worldwide market of digital music. This trend is also indentical to the domestic and withholding regulations for music service and creator's rights and interests have become an ever growing issue. Ministry of Culture, Sports ad Tourism decided the revision of withholding regulations for the digital music service in 2013. The amendment is to change its policy of charging music service from the flat rate pricing to a usage-based system. This paper brought forward some disputable points such as fair division of profit, reasonable pricing for consumers etc. about the revision. Therefore, improvement of system and change in the perception of such copyrights are still required for both the encouragement of creator's activities and the high consumer satisfaction.

A Study on the Chinese Consumers' Purchase Intention of Digital Music Using an Extended Model of Goal-directed Behavior (EMGB) : Focused on Mobile Digital Music (확장된 목표지향적 행동모형을 적용한 중국인들의 디지털음악 구매의도에 관한 연구: 모바일 디지털음악을 중심으로)

  • As a study on the purchase intention of digital music, the research applied the Extended Model of Goal-directed Behavior(EMGB) with the perceived value and empirically evaluated the impact of variables such as attitude, subjective norms, positive and negative anticipated emotions, perceived behavioral control and desire on the purchase intention. The study was conducted using a survey data collected from valid questionnaires of 342 copies aimed at Chinese mobile music application users and employed the structure equation model. The findings indicate that attitude, negative anticipated emotions, perceived behavioral control towards digital music purchasing and the frequency of past behavior positively influenced users' desire for digital music purchasing. Another result has been confirmed that perceived value, which was an added variable, showed a significant impact on attitude. Along with the frequency of past behavior and desire, perceived value also exerted positive influence on purchase intention.

  • Digital Music Industry of Korea has had its dominance over existing Record-based Music Industry since the year 2000 influencing the entire music industry. This implies the perspective for this emerging field by defining various factors based on environmental analysis. SWOT analysis, mostly used for setting up the marketing strategy is very useful analytic tool for this manner. The potentials and possibilities were saught for this emerging Digital Music Industry to have connectivity with other Media and Entertainment Industry, focusing on its strength, weakness, opportunities and threats, four variables of SWOT analysis.
