Impact of the Fit of Immersive Technology and Media Art Type on User Commitment and Revisit Intention (몰입형 기술 특성과 미디어아트 관람 특성과의 적합성이 관객의 몰입감과 재방문의도에 미치는 영향)

  • This study examined the perceived fit between the characteristics of immersive technology and the type of media art affects commitment, satisfaction, and revisit intention. The results showed that the quality of projection mapping and the reputation of original art had a positive effect on the perceived fit whereas the accessibility of original art had a negative effect on the perceived fit. In addition, the reputation of original art and the perception of fit increased the commitment of the media art exhibition, which positively affected the satisfaction and revisit intention. This study provides theoretical and practical implications regarding the effect of immersive technology and media art type of digital media art.

  • OpenCV is a programming language used in digital image processing and computer vision. In this study, look at media arts made using OpenCV programming language and find out about the utilization possibilities. To this end, the first, look at OpenCV functions that are frequently used in media art, the examples of utilizing the functions. The second, discuss media arts using OpenCV. focused on the OpenCV functions, programming language for an production of media art. The third, analyze features of media arts using OpenCV, mainly focused on the functions and programming languages. The study may provide guidance to the artists to produce a media art using the OpenCV or programming language.

  • The information technology is quickly changing the paradigm of the overall society. This change has influenced the art field and exceeded the limit of prior art characteristics and methods opening up a new world of art pieces starting among the young artists based on digital art technology. Especially the internet art of the computer technology made the communication of the artist and the viewer to communicate in a bilateral manner different from one way feeding of the past and made it possible for the viewers to choose their involvement in the act of seeing the work changing the reaction into a fluid concept. This thesis is about using the digital media in the net art communication to figure out the fluid interaction by approaching the digital media concept and by analyzing the characteristics of net art communication means and thus take a overall look at the artist related web sites and see the net art as a new communication means.

  • This study will attempt to analyze media art and discuss its main characteristics by using the concept based on Relational Aesthetics 'Affective Turn' as a basis of the theory. In addition, this study has some theoretical and practical implications, both in terms of the research and analysis of artworks and the structure development of art theories and aesthetics. To conduct the research, I have gone through a literature review on previous studies related to media art and Relational Aesthetics. Then, I have conducted a case study on the media art of TeamLab. This study shows that from the perspective of Relational Aesthetics, media art shows unique characteristics such as borderless and shareability. Moreover, it can allow the audience to actually 'feel' the relationship and integration between various objects. I hopethat this research could be used as a solid basis for future research and helpstrengthen the interaction between modern art and the public.

  • The past interactive art was only attempted through interdisciplinary study of art and science. As it goes to the digital age, however, the artistic methods based on digital technology have been gradually increasing in combination with other media in various ways. This paper analyzes how spectators' individual selection of viewing-route increases the interaction between spectators and interactive art work by focusing on $\ulcorner$Meta 4Saisons$\lrcorner$. In the process of route selection, each spectator selects his/her own viewing-route almost different from the others', respectively. This individual viewing-route makes each spectator placed in a position of individual interaction, thus leading him/her to the experience of various feelings through the act of immersing in the interactive art interface.

Nail art design utilizing the Four Gracious Plants (사군자를 소재로 한 네일아트 디자인)

  • The aesthetic value of Korea is rising in various fields through the use of designs using Korean materials. Korean materials contain oriental ideas and are widely used as materials for design development due to the uniqueness of its form. The purpose of this study is to present basic data of nail art design differentiated nail art designs required at the nail art industry site by producing nail works using Korean materials. Accordingly, We proceeded on the basis of theoretical consideration and empirical research for the development of nail art design, a field of beauty in this study, and made a Korean and unique nail art design work using the Four Gracious Plants. For this purpose, we considered theoretically the characteristics of nail art and the Gracious Plants, and made nail art design works derived from empirical research. The work was analyzed by color, texture, and design elements of form. Therefore, the mixed method of Nail Art and the Gracious Plants, which is the core of this study, is considered to be meaningful in laying the foundation for creative nail art design development.
